What a beautiful condo! Very clean. The furnishing, lamps,and decor beautiful and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The beds were so comfortable we wished we could take them home. The grounds were perfectly landscaped and manicured. Breathtaking views and very quiet. There was a Rooster alarm clock that was a resident but he was beautiful. We highly recommend this unit and would stay here again. Aloha

This was the perfect condo for our short stay in Kauai! It was clean and comfortable, and it’s location on the north side of the island is great!
We enjoyed the view of the lush Kauai landscape and mountains from the back patio. With a fantastic view of the gorgeous Pacific the moment we stepped out the front door. We also enjoyed amenities which included use of beach chairs! Made for a perfect day at the beach!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. It was our first time visiting Kauai, and we absolutely cannot wait to visit again. The location is great, pretty quick drive to anywhere on the north shore. Highly recommend!

Loved the property and the location. Really beautiful. Only thing that impacted our stay was the lack of AC. I saw that there was no AC when looking at the listing initially, but reviews seemed to be okay with it not having AC. We stayed in October and in my opinion it was just a little too hot and uncomfortable at night for me and my wife. Really liked everything else about the property, so even a little portable AC unit in the bedrooms would have turned a really good stay into a great stay.

The unit has everything you need in the kitchen. Upgraded interior given the age of the overall property which was fantastic. Stunning Mountain View’s from all of the windows. The condo was homey and a great base camp on the north shore! I wish I would have known to ask if unit had A/C. Not a huge issue in the evenings but it was quite warm during the day even with windows open and all fans running. Not a deal breaker we were just surprised! Everything else about the condo was excellent! Would definitely recommend it!

Great spot for a "home base" on Kauai's north side. Lovely morning views of the mountains (no ocean view from this unit), easy to get to nearby towns, short drive to Ha'ena park or the shuttle. Didn't use the resort amenities at all, so I cannot speak to that. Overall very nice.
The unit was clean and easily accessible. Parking was simple any time of day. Windows allowed for good air flow and we were all comfortable during our stay. Communication with the owner/manager was quick and easy. While a resort wouldn't necessarily be my first choice, this was a good spot. Recommended!

We were so blown away with this beautiful condo, great Hawaii views everywhere. We loved all the windows to let fresh air in. The property was extremely clean! You could see it’s all been recently updated. Beds were comfy, kitchen had everything for our needs, and we were close enough to all the things we wanted to visit near and around Princville. I think the only thing was a beach umbrella and beach chairs would have been a nice addition.

Great place!! Well stocked and very clean. Really quiet all day. It's within walking distance to the local beach and the "town" center. It's also close to the nicest beach on Kaua'i, Kauapea Beach aka Secret Beach. You couldn't ask for much more. We will definitely be back for more.

The rental is exactly as described. Clean, comfortable and spacious. It’s also very quiet. The mornings are magical - the sounds of the birds and roosters begin at dawn and it’s great drinking coffee on the little porch with the stunning view of the mountains. The house is equipped with everything you’d need for cooking or the beach. Communication with the owners was perfect. I’d stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Wendy's place was spacious and very inviting. The kitchen was very well-equipped - one of the best we have ever seen. We enjoyed having our breakfast on the lanai every morning with the most colorful birds chirping away in the surrounding trees. We very much appreciated having beach chairs available. We headed to Po'ipu beach to watch dozens of large sea turtles come onto the beach at sunset. We contacted Wendy with a few questions and she responded immediately. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely consider staying again if we return to Kauai. Wendy was super helpful and left very good instructions/recommendations.
The only downside was that the kitchen was not particularly well-equipped. My wife and I both love cooking and we always like to explore local farmers markets and cook at least a couple meals while traveling. That’s why we generally pick VRBOs over hotels to begin with. The kitchen had essentials, but no chef’s knife at all and no sharpener for the assorted dull and flimsy knives provided. There was also no mixer (either manual or electric). Lastly, there were nearly 2 dozen coffee mugs but not a single wine glass.

Overall loved our stay here! Had a mishap trying to check in (could have been we traveled all day and we were brain dead at this point but we did not find the directions easy) that being said, Wendy answered immediately when we called and directed us to the right place. The actual condo is very nice, spacious, and clean! Also such a good location next to turtle cave/queens bath (although this is closed right now) and a great view of the water off the cliffs. We enjoyed being able to cook a little and use their beach chairs when we did go down to the beach. We would definitely recommend!

We booked Wendy's condo for our daughter's wedding, and it was a delightful stay. The condo was well situated, quiet, beautiful mountain views, clean, and provided all the essentials (including a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer), convenient access to all beaches (such as Hanalei, Anini, etc). However, we really could have used an AC, it was very humid day and night despite having fans in every room. Despite this we would choose Wendy's place again!!

Condo was in a very upscale and beautiful neighborhood but not a lot of action and liveliness so keep in mind if you like to go out and meet a lot of people. The unit was very clean and easy to access. Use the instructions and directions provided by host rather than gps to arrive at the condominiums as gps won’t get you to the actual complex. There is no AC at all in the condo only windows and fans (thankful for the fans) so keep in mind if you absolutely can’t go without AC. Also be sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner as only bar soap is provided for showers. Parking is easy and convenient and the grounds are beautiful and located right on a cliff next to the ocean. Overall great stay!

My wife, daughter and I really enjoyed our time in this condo in Princeville. Was very nice to have beach towels and chairs for the time we spent on Anini beach. Also nice to have the garden hose just outside to wash off the sand.
We enjoyed the beautiful expansive view of the mountains with a nice wrap around porch which was perfect place for breakfast each day. The condo had everything we needed and everything was in good shape.
We went hiking and kayaking in Hanalei just down the road and had a great time.

We really enjoyed this spot in Kauai. We had stayed 5 nights in the south in Poipu then 3 night at Wendy's place in Alii Kai. Great location for us since we hiked the Kalalau Trail in Haena which was a 20 min drive. You can walk to the Queens Bath trail from the condo so you dont have to scrounge for parking. The place doesnt have AC but lots of fans and cool breezes at night. Loved the ocean views that were only a few steps away!

I especially appreciated that the kitchen had everything I needed to cook our meals while we were there. We loved being near the cliff, and the mountain view from the lanai was beautiful. The condo was very comfortable, with two bedroom and two bathrooms, plenty of space. Good size kitchen that was well equipped and also had a washer/dryer and dishwasher.
A lovely view out the back patio with a small table, and multiple other chairs to choose from. She provided beach towels and beach chairs which were very helpful. An outsize hose to rinse off the sand which was very useful. No air-conditioning but ceiling fans and windows that opened for a cross breeze. A very quite neighborhood and just across from the Ocean. A difficult hike down to the water but we were able to do it and explore, with the added bonus of seeing two sea turtles.
It was very reasonably priced for the area and we felt blessed to stay the 5 days that we did.

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely home. It had everything we needed from cooking dinner to staying on the lanai and enjoying our mornings. Sunrise was beautiful across the unit near the foot wash station. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. There’s no AC but we enjoyed the natural breeze and spent most days driving around town. Bed was comfortable and bath towels felt plush and clean. Thank you for paying attention to all the details and making it feel like home. We are so lucky to have found this place!

The only reason why I gave this a 4 instead of 5 star is that there is no AC. Everything else was great, the location was excellent. It cooled down each night so we could open the windows and get some air, but I could see it being more of an issue in the summer months (we were there in March.). We also had an issue with the master shower, we only used it on our first night there straight off the airplane, but it was backed up and wouldn't drain so the 3 of us just shared the hall shower for the week. I let the owner know the first day what was going on with the shower so hopefully this issue is resolved. For us it was a minor inconvenience, to a larger group it would be a bigger one. Overall great stay in Princeville!

This is a great condo that is conveniently located. Appreciated how easy it was to get ahold of Wendy and she provided very clear directions to the property and instructions for check in/out.
Felt that the cleaning fee was fairly expensive for having to do a fair amount yourself (take out trash, clean dishes, put away dishes, cleaning all surfaces). Having to put away the dishes can be logistically challenging when trying to catch an early flight and would be nice to have the option of leaving clean dishes in dishwasher.
That being said, we greatly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this listing for anyone considering visiting the area.

This was a perfect trip from the wonderful accommodations to the unbelievable weather. It can sometimes be rainy on the north end of Kauai but there was zero and, there were actually a couple of days with no clouds at all. We watched breaching whales from the shore by the condo including mom and baby breaching in tandem. It’s a very nice condo in a great location, very quiet and owner Wendy had the best arrival instructions that I have ever had. First class.

Everyone commented on how comfortable this modifying felt. One bed soft and the other more firm. Both showers excellent water pressure. Basic needs met. Hair dryer broken, which one of us needed during stay. Discovered trail across parking lot leading down to turtle cave (yes! There are large sea turtles sleeping in the cave, amazing, unique experience). Note there is no air conditioning but fans in each room. Not a cramped condo like others so luggage can spread out easily.

After a confusing start, (my fault) we got settled in. We had comfortable beds and adequate kitchen facilities for a 4 night stay. Decent wifi coverage but be aware that cell phone coverage and other places on the island don’t work too well if you are using roaming. Texting and WhatsApp Voice over IP do work. We do recommend a deeper cleaning for this property but we found it acceptable.

Immaculate and well priced property in the heart of Princeville.
The host is very easy to communicate and work with. Was just perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 1 child age 14 and another age 11).
We stayed here for 3 nights. I will tell you that the photos on the listing do not do justice. The kitchen, bedroom and living room are well appointed. The bathrooms were perfect and pretty much like home. Very easy driving distance to Hanalei area and beyond (we actually hiked the Hanakapiaii Falls from the Beach - a tough but amazing 8 mile round trip).
Back to the unit, the backyard space is nice and inviting although we spent limited time there. We certainly cooked a couple of times and we found all the necessary utensils and amenities including kitchen condiments to help us along quite nicely.
I am going to come back and stay here for sure!! Thank you Wendy for being an amazing and gracious hostess.

My wife and I LOVED staying here!! Loved the clean condo and rattan furniture, super chill island vibes in there!! The lack of A/C didn’t bother us at all because of the fans. Opening the windows and sliding glass door also made it have great air flow. We walked around the grounds and checked out the cliffs, so beautiful!
This condo is right by the dumpster which made it super easy to toss our trash and the parking it right in front of the condo. The beds are ridiculously comfortable and the new showers are lovely.
The kitchen had everything we needed and the option to do our laundry in there was great! They have beach chairs and boogie boards. They also have some basic workout equipment.
The Smart TV was nice and we loved the island decor. We added some shells and other beach finds to the collection!!

We were very pleased with the location of the property. Close to our new (and some old) favorite beaches. Beautiful views from all sides. Fabulous restaurants nearby. Wendy was so easy to work with. Check in and check out we’re smooth. Would definitely stay here again! Mahalo for sharing your home!

The spacious condo was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood where no traffic can be heard and at the same time it was just a short drive to the grocery store, restaurants and shops located in Hanalei and Princeville. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside on the Lanai with the backdrop of the beautiful views of the mountains and lovely landscaping. Wendy was extremely helpful, quick to answer any questions and provided detailed information about the check in and check out process which was easy. We enjoyed staying at the lovely condo and would recommend it to those looking for a North Shore vacation home base.
