Nothing fancy but has everything you need and the view is incredible! Even a rainy day is nice because you can sit and read or work on a puzzle and just watch the ocean waves roll in and...... then there are the rainbows! When you are out and about for the day it is a wonderful relaxing place to land at the end of the day. Lots of beaches, nice grocery store, shops and restaurants in Princeville and Hanalei. Truly a home away from home.

This property was wonderful! Evelyn has made it like home. Very comfy! Had everything we needed, including beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, pool noodles- everything you need for the beach. There is a game closet, but we were so busy staring out at the million dollar views that we didnt have time to play! We have been around the world and have never had a view like this! Sunrises and sunsets were amazing from the wraparound deck and from part way down the trail out front. We can't wait to come back and stay here!

We stayed a week and loved every minute. We arrived at night and Evelyn called the next morning to make sure we arrived ok. There was not a thing we needed. Everything is as described. The trade winds are so refreshing! No AC needed! Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Princeville is a great location for exploring the North Coast. We would definitely stay again.

Incomparable views in a comfortable homey setting. It doesn't get much better than this. We spent 3 weeks in this lovely unit and loved every minute. It has a wonderfully equipped kitchen and bright bedrooms and baths. We spotted whales multiple times a day (in March) and even a pod of dolphins one day. We loved taking long walks around the area and took advantage of the pool and available barbecue grill.
Communication with our host was excellent. We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to enjoy the true beauty of Hawaii and hope to return in the future.

Ellen’s hale is a most relaxing respite from a day of Garden Island touring. The ocean view from every room is amazing. If you are fortunate enough to find this property vacant, take the leap. This property is one of the best that we have rented through VRBO. The specific unit is right on the edge of the cliffs and affords amazing views of sunrise from anywhere in the condo or on the porch. I would rent this property again for sure.
We were only two people so the space was much more than we needed (two beds two baths). Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities, not always the case with VRBO rentals. Unity was super-clean and the beds were great.
No hesitation on the 5 out of 5 star rating here.

We loved everything about this rental. The condo was immaculate with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We especially appreciated the beach gear: coolers, towels, chairs, umbrella, boards, snorkeling gear! Evelyn supplied the place with all sorts of extras: games, bookd (I really liked the coffee table book with photos/history of the island.). And the views from the main room and bedrooms was fantastic!.. Strongly recommend this rental!

Evelyn’s place was a great home for our 10 days on Kauai. We decided this property had absolutely the BEST views of any of our worldwide travels. Very nicely stocked kitchen and beach gear. Nothing like waking up in the middle of the night and looking out the bedroom window and seeing stars so bright and close you can pluck them from the heavens. We hope to stay here again!

This condo has everything you will need with an unbeatable view! The sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking and you can view them right from the porch. There is a beautiful beach within walking distance and many more just a short drive away. Lovely shops and restaurants in nearby towns as well. Evelyn has it all for you and the location can't be beat!

What a perfect place to spend a family vacation. The condo had everything we needed and more, (beach chairs, backpacks snorkeling fins, umbrellas and even some water shoes that fit. Great and easy communication with the host when we needed something simple like a new can opener. As was the case a year ago, Evelyn’s condo located on the north shore cliffs in Princeville was once again a spectacular experience. Grandma and I were treating our youngest granddaughter to the Kauai adventure. In addition to the fabulous view from this first floor corner unit we had a direct sight of every mornings sunrise as well as the sunsets each evening. Anything that a person could possibly need is made available in the condo. We highly recommend this property. It books up more than a year in advance so plan well in advance.

This condo exceeded our expectations. Ocean views from every room with levered windows that allowed a constant cooling breeze to flow throughout. When I was looking for a property to stay at during our first trip to Hawaii since the "before times," I wanted a home away from home where we could enjoy our vacation even when sitting in the living room or while making dinner. Evelyn's property exceeded all expectations (and my expectations were high).
The unit is literally steps from a cliff. Views from all rooms (except the bathrooms) included magnificent vistas of the ocean waves meeting the beach. King sized bed in the master bedroom was exactly what I was looking for. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans so we could cook meals. And when we were done, dishes went into the dishwasher.
Grocery store and restaurants were a mere five minute drive away. And, two farmers' markets were just ten minutes away at most.

Evelyn was a wonderful host came to the condo to check and see if we needed anything. The view was so amazing! In the morning we had coffee on the balcony watching the sunrise and ocean and listening to the waves and in the evening watching the moon rise and glistening over the water. You have the ocean view from every window. Rainbows every day! The condo was super clean and had every thing you needed. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in paradise. Two weeks is not enough we are sorry to say goodbye. But we will be back to a slice of paradise again. Thank you Evelyn for sharing you slice of paradise with us. Love Patsy and Casey

This was our first visit to Kauai, and this condo made it 100% perfect. We were originally booked in a condo in a different resort near Lihue, but due to poor communication from that property I ended up looking for a different condo to stay at and came across this one. After issues being able to get in touch with the previous property, I was absolutely thrilled to receive an immediate response from the owner of this one. The photos were spectacular, and the listing very clearly shows you exactly what you will be getting, the only exception being that the condo looked even better in person! I was scrambling to find a new place for my family to stay 30 days before our trip, so boy did I luck out snagging this one so close to our trip. There is a reason this books up fast, so if you have the opportunity to book this condo for your vacation I 1000% recommend that your do, don't hesitate! It's a 1st floor unit but that in no way whatsoever impedes on the view. There is a steep drop off of the vegetation in front of the condo so there is absolutely nothing blocking your view of the ocean, and man that view is incredible! The resort is incredibly quiet and peaceful, and the location is tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of the nearby towns. There is a pool if you aren't interested in swimming in the ocean, or if you just need a calm quiet place to swim. Overall, my family and I loved the condo, the view, and the location, and the communication with the owner Evelyn was excellent! Hoping we can return again in the future. Mahalo, Evelyn!

The aren’t enough good things I could say about our experience at this beautiful home. Evelyn is an absolute gem, making stays easy and welcoming to all. The home is located directly over the water, with the best views in the entire area. It is spacious, light filled, and charming and has everything your heart could desire. We loved this property. The views, including views of the sunset and sunrise, constant ocean breeze and great natural ventilation, sound of the ocean, privacy because a corner unit, windows that open everywhere…. The location is amazing. Some of the best snorkeling we went to was near the property. The trailhead to turtle cave is right out the front door. You won’t regret selecting this unit.

It has to be the most gorgeous view and location in all of Princeville! You can't go wrong. Woke up everyday to a gorgeous sunrise and finished our day with an even better sunset. I can't say enough about this condo.
