Nice place, clean and comfortable. Reasonably well equipped kitchen. Nice swimming pool a short walk away. The surprise was the gift left for our arrival: the box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts. We highly recommend this resort located in a popular area, close to all amenities!!

We had a fantastic experience at this condo in Princeville. It allowed us to access all of the great places along the north shore of Kaua'i. The unit was well furnished and we'll definitely look to stay there again.

The location was great to explore throughout the North Shore. We had my 12 and 17 daughters, everyone enjoyed the accommodations and the pool. It is true that there is no A/C, but this is pretty typical in Kauai. We even hiked down to the turtle cave on the resort. Wow!

We had a very comfortable stay. We have a family of 4 and it had 2 bedrooms which fit us all very comfortably. Everything was easy to use and find in the kitchen. It was a drive to Hanalei Bay which as good to be away from the crowds in the town. Short drive or walk to the shops in Princeville. We will definitely stay again.

Our stay at Ali’i Kai was wonderful. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has great equipment for cooking, the bathrooms have great showers, the location is lovely. We utilized the grill at the pool and that was great. The washer / dryer is a must for daily swimmers so we were very happy to have that. The breeze through the windows was sufficient to cool us down, no need for air conditioning. Checking in and parking were easy.

Top to bottom staying here was a great experience! Condo was comfortable and clean. Owners/Managers were very responsive to our requests. 20 minutes to just about everything on the north shore. Highly recommend!

I've stayed many times in Princeville and enjoy this condo community.. Nice remodel unit. Stays cool due to location of common trade winds.. Views from the living room allow for some ocean view and beautiful landscape. Mostly quiet location. John.

Staying in Princeville was an excellent choice. As first timers to Kauai we were a little scared about staying on the North Shore and being isolated from the rest of the island. It didn’t stop us from heading south and seeing the other parts of the island. We absolutely loved the location and it’s ease of access to everything we needed and wanted to see.
The property itself matched the description perfectly. Amenities and accommodations were very nice. I was worried about not having A/C and it didn’t end being a problem at all. We would definitely return to this VRBO if we ever returned in the future. The owners were timely in all of their responses to our questions. They even were generous to give suggestions on where to go for certain venues.
Note to Owners: There were a couple of light bulbs that were burned out. Beyond that, everything was in working order.

Immaculate condo with lots of space. I was worried about the lack of a/c at first but the breeze blowing through at night was perfect. The nearest beach is very difficult to find but a short drive to Anini or Hanalei beach is well worth it. Thank you for a lovely week of accommodations.

We really enjoyed your our stay at this condo. Nice, modern furnishings consistent with pictures. Very clean and amenities like beach chairs and a cooler are provided, which we really appreciate. The owners are very responsive. The property itself is perfectly located for exploring the North Shore. And there is a nice, basic pool. This will be a first choice for us next time we visit Kauai.

Few concerns are: the lighting of the condo - the guest bathroom had a light bulb missing. It was not easy to maneuver the TV channels. The stove position indication on the range top was scratched off and some buttons to navigate the temperature degree in the oven did not work. Overall, we like the apartment as it's beautifully designed with nice furniture.

Nice place. Very clean and tidy. The hot tub for the association only worked for about three days of our four week stay. Very disappointed about that. The oven only had one temp that worked but overall nice place in the world.

This beautiful two bedroom two bathroom condo served as home base for my 90 year old Mom, my sister and me during our recent 8 day stay in Princeville. The condo is well equipped with virtually every cooking implement you will need for a fantastic stay. Although there is no air conditioning, the wonderful Kauai breezes made for a comfortable stay as long as you kept the windows open for cross ventilation. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room as well to add to the comfort level. A shopping center with a Foodland is within a couple of miles driving distance, and the pool is just across the road.

Great rental for our anniversary weekend. The condo is beautifully decorated with a very cozy appeal. Great location and stunning views. From opening the windows and watching gorgeous sunrises with coffee in hand to opening the front door at night and feeling that cool ocean breeze. Our internet and tv was not working the first. We called first thing in the morning and within 30 minutes maintenance was there getting it together. I will be staying here again!!

Good part: Spacious well equipped condo. Good property to walk around. Patio open up to a beautiful lawn and view of the ocean
Bad part: 2 of the lights were not working making it very dark to sit in the living room. The 2nd bathroom was not well cleaned, we had to wipe off some hair from the bathtub & walls before using. There were road closures in the Princeville area which impacted our travel plans pretty significantly. Although our hosts could not control this in anyway, a heads up would have been good given the whole point of staying in Princeville was the proximity to Hanalei Bay.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Communications with the owners were friendly and helpful, and they did a great job of making sure we had all info we needed prior to our arrival, so there was no need to contact them when we got there and we could get straight to enjoying our vacation. Furnishings and interior are recently updated and were both comfortable and attractive.
