This property is exceptionally well cared for. It is bright, open, and spacious.
The owner, whom I had to contact because of her cleaners, due to an inadvertent miscommunication, had not prepped the property, really cares about her place and what the renters think. She was mortified, took care of it immediately and offered to treat us to a dinner as compensation. That's how an VRBO owner should operate.

Tremendous view and very well stocked with supplies. Had everything we needed and more. Reminded me of the old school places I have stayed in Florida and I was very comfortable there. Fantastic location and convenient to everything we did. Condo was probably noisy during the day since it is adjacent to a remodel but we were gone swimming, snorkeling, hiking and exploring each day we were there and didn't arrive back at the condo until workers were ready to go home. Can listen to ocean waves from the bedroom......always a plus.

Great spot, close to Hanalei but plenty of great services right in Princeville. We loved the patio, coffee and sunrises in the morning, cocktails and sunsets in the evening. No need to buy or rent any beach stuff, they’ve got it all. Great set up in the kitchen, and with Foodland close by you’re all set. The place is wonderful

Looking out to the ocean from the living room and both bedrooms was absolutely gorgeous. Able to see the sunrise from condo and walking a few feet out to the point for beautiful sunsets. Had all the amenities we needed. Was the perfect place for our family to stay!

This place is magical! The location looks out directly onto the ocean. Wake up with a view of the ocean from your bed. Sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise and set. This place is exactly as advertised. Well stocked, very clean and nice furnishings. I would love to stay here again.

What an amazing middle leg of our Hawaiian island hopping spring break. The condo was clean, well stocked, and in a great location. Our favorite thing to do was watch the whales in the morning at sunrise and again in the evening. The panoramic views of the ocean from our bedrooms were superb. And if you can make it down the treacherous hike to the cave below the cliff it is well worth it for some up close (but not too close) views of sleeping sea turtles! Thank you for sharing such an beautiful part of the world with us.

Three of us spent a week here. The condo was exactly as advertised - clean and comfortable with awesome views. We saw whales just about daily with dolphins and turtles occasionally. I wouldn’t hesitate booking here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The owner was very responsive prior to arrival. The condo is located in a great neighborhood close to a park for kids. A short distance to other resorts as well.
The views from every bedroom and living room are spectacular. The condo was equipped with everything we needed.
Although there is a pool onsite, we didn’t get a chance to try it out but looks like a great place to enjoy during the day.
We would book this place again in the future.

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. There's an awesome view from every room. We fell asleep with the shhh-shhhing of the ocean. We spend the cocktail hour on our balcony starting out at the huge, wild sea and saw whales quite a few times. It's a lovely spacious apartment, well equipped and comfortable, with TV services to watch at night. The bathroom shower tap in the main room needs replacing, as it is very tight and I didn't have the strength to pull it on. But, despite that, we loved our time in the apartment. A home away from home.

This was our fourth visit to the beautiful island of Kauai and our 2nd time staying in Princeville. The rental is in a great, quiet neighborhood and the views are unbelievable. Being able to go to bed and wake up to the sound of the ocean right outside both bedroom windows is priceless.
We really appreciated having all the amenities as if we were right at home, especially the washer and dryer! A lot of people worry when there is no A/C but the temperature at night was just perfect with the windows open.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would consider this rental again on a future visit!

We stayed at Carrie's condo in Princeville in late October 2022. Wow, what a find! Carrie's communication was great throughout our stay and she even offered us recommendations on local places to eat. If you are following Google Maps directions to reach the condo, please note that the directions will take you to a turn-around on Edward Road. You cannot reach the condo from here. Instead, when you turn right onto Edward Road, make an immediate left and then drive for a short bit to building 5 on the right. There is free parking in front of the building.
The condo is located on the second floor and has amazing views. As soon as you walk in, you can hear the waves crashing into the rocks below. There is a great view of the ocean from both bedrooms and the balcony which has 3 chairs and a small table. The kitchen is large and fully stocked with a full size refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher, microwave and a four person dining room table. In addition, the kitchen is also where the new, full size washer and dryer are located.
The living room has a sofa, 2 comfortable chairs, a large flat screen TV, large coffee table and 4 foot stools. There is a full bathroom in the hallway. The second bedroom is a good size, has a large closest and dresser, and offers a full view of the ocean. The very large master bedroom is located next to the guest bedroom. It has a king sized bed, decent sized TV, night stands with lamps, a couple of dressers, closet, an area to do make-up, and a small full bath with a shower. There are windows and ceiling fans in every room. I do not believe there is AC, but the fans and cross breeze from open windows cooled the condo enough for us.
Sunrises from the balcony were very nice, but the sun does come up over the nearby condos to the right. We were not there at sunset, but did get to see a couple of rainbows during our stay.
For amenities, the condo has at least 6 beach and folding chairs, a beach umbrella, some snorkel gear, a water football, a beach bag, 4 beach towels, and several other beach items.
The only item to be aware of is that the curtains that cover the large master bedroom window, which faces the ocean, does not quite cover the entire window. There's probably 6 inches or so of uncovered window. If you want to sleep in and are sensitive to light coming in after sunrise, you should be aware of this. It did not affect us though as we were up early every day to take advantage of all that Kauai has to offer.

The heavens were singing their praising by gracing us with the most spectacular views imaginable in this little sliver of paradise. This included exquisite sunrises, rainbows and sunsets. This condo was wonderfully equipped, and made it fell like I was walking into my own home. We had a small hiccup when we first arrived and it was handled quickly! The property was exactly as advertised but the photos didn’t do justice to just how close you are to the water, it was beautiful! Well stocked with any pool/beach/kitchen gear you could possibly need including beach towels. The washer and dryer was a huge plus for our weeklong stay. Five minutes away from Princeville center with a Foodland grocery store and restaurants. Great location and we would definitely stay again!

This property is dominated by the view, which is magnificent. The ocean is practically at the doorstep, and watching the sun brighten the sky over the water while eating breakfast is a great way to start each day.
This is an older unit but there has been some updating. The baths have seen some attention, and the washer and dryer are new. The floor in the living room looks fairly new and is attractive.
The unit is well stocked with beach toys, not so much with kitchenware, although the pots and pans are diverse and of good quality. The biggest issue in the kitchen is the lack of lighting near the stove. Cooking while holding a cellphone with the flashlight on is less than ideal, but the only way we found to overcome the dark areas so we could see what we were cooking.
Overall, we were very satisfied with the unit and it's amazing view. The owner/manager was a joy to work with, and that made our stay even more pleasant. We're looking forward to next year when we get to return to this same unit.

Beautiful view and in a great location. However, the sea breeze does not suffice for an air conditioner. It was very hot during the day and did not seem to cool down at night. Moveable fans would have been helpful to have, at least.
