Unfortunately the AC was not working from the time we arrived until the time we departed. It was very hot. After two days of communicating with the host, having workers come over several times (who were unable to resolve the issue), we decided to forego the final two nights in this condo and come out of pocket for another property. While this is not ideal, it's not the end of the world. What made the experience much worse was the host's lack of accountability and unwillingness to give us any kind of refund. He made it seem like our expecation of a home that could maintain 72 degrees was unreasonable. We are in the rental property business too and some level of refund for an issue as major as an AC not working during a summer month is definitely considered reasonable. One other issue: the next door neighbor could be heard beating their dog all day. It was a rough experience. Given all of the options in Turtle Bay, I would suggest you look elsewhere.

The property offers great location and room for a small family with the beds in the loft. The owner and manager were great about communication and the checkin and out process was easy and just as stated. The pictures seem to be older and the property itself is in need of some updates; especially the patio/screen door which was extremely difficult to slide open and closed. The extra single bed in the loft is functional but really needs to be replaced and the carpeting in the loft needs to be replaced or cleaned as it is quite stained. The kitchen was well equipped although we enjoyed all the food trucks close by so other than coffee and breakfast we didn't eat in the townhome much.

Spacious and well-decorated 1 Bedroom/2 bathroom plus loft townhouse was the perfect location for my small family for the wedding weekend set at the nearby Turtle Bay Resort. We had 5 adults and a one-year-old and appreciated the two bathrooms, portable crib, and available beach toys/chairs. The adults sleeping in the loft space each bonked their heads once or twice before remembering to duck and got the hang of the special rules for the loft air conditioning. Though we did not utilize the pool, we met others from our larger group at the grill and recreation areas for a welcome cookout. While my spouse and I had little trouble locating the unit, others who arrived after dark had a much tougher time and we had to wave them over as you cannot see the numbers. We appreciated the laundry pods available and washed one load of our own clothes and one load of unit towels. We would definitely rent this unit again if we ever find ourselves in the north shore.

Roomy Condo with everything you need if you're staying in. Close to the pool and Beach access with comfortable beds. Like mentioned previously, the sliding glass and screen door is hard to close and open. The loft space is large and cozy with AC and fans throughout to keep cool. Overall, a pleasant place to stay. If you have rowdy young adults like I did it may not be the best option but for a relaxing quiet stay its perfect.

We stayed at the property for 3 nights with our two boys who are 22 and 23 years old. We loved the proximity to the beaches, attractions, food trucks, golf and the Ritz Carlton. The property is exactly as it is described. The kitchen is stocked with everything necessary to make meals and the beds are super comfortable. Beach chairs and towels are also provided. We enjoyed walking to the public beach access and we used the hiking trails to other beaches on and near the Ritz Carlton property. We also went to the restaurants at the Ritz. It was so close and very convenient. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this property to anyone coming to visit the North Shore. We utilized many of the suggestions for sights to see and places to eat in the owner’s manual. We would definitely stay here again. It was challenging to see the house number in the dark so our only suggestion is to light up the house number for after dark arrivals.

The condo has a dedicated parking space right outside the steps down to the front door which is ideal. No searching for parking when you get back from the beach, golf course or a hike in the mountains. The back porch is a nice place to sit in the evening and unwind after a full day. Tons of great activities close to the unit on the North Shore away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. The unit has a washer and dryer unit if you like to do laundry on your vacation. The condo was clean and the host was easy to deal with and get ahold of when we needed assistance to get into the gate upon arrival.

The little apartment is as pictured, the decor was really nice, and we appreciated the beach, chairs, and towels available. On the downside, the apartment is very dark. We also were unlucky enough to be there during two solid days of tree work, super noisy. Our upstairs neighbors were also quite loud! Other than better lighting, we would’ve appreciated salt, pepper, and a soap dispenser for the bathroom shower. These are not things that we necessarily consider having to bring. A full length mirror would also be a good addition. We did really enjoy the proximity to all of the amenities available at Turtle Bay, however, we would not choose this condo again.

The condo was super comfortable, and the property was absolutely gorgeous. Lovely pool area with barbecue pits and beach was minutes from the condo. We arrived, looked around, and left. Within an hour of arrival we decided we couldn't sleep there — and walked away from our full week's rental fees rather than spend a night in this condition. This seems to be a neglected property. When we raised our concerns with the host, we were told the property's condition was acceptable and advertised. But, the property is in serious disrepair. Pillows were flat, heavily stained, and clearly very old. Pillowcases were stained as well. The curtains (looked like repurposed shower curtains) had visible mold spots. The old refrigerator was stained from the stove. The dishwasher doesn't work (we were told this 2 days before arrival). Baseboards were cracked. Closet doors were dirty. Trim throughout needs paint badly.The bedroom closet contained more dirty pillows and what appeared to be cast-offs from previous guests. The bathroom vanity still held previous guests' personal toiletries — not fresh provisions, just someone else's leftovers.There was no welcome information of any kind — no local area info to guide guests. No water or small welcome provisions. For a full-week rental, that's a pretty low bar to miss. The place had been cleaned — I don't blame the cleaner. The problem is the property itself, which no amount of cleaning can fix. We requested and were denied a refund by the host despite providing photos. We hope other guests are spared this experience.
