This place and location was perfect for us. Inside the Turtle Bay resort with access to beach’s, walking trails, golf, and Lei Lei’s restaurant (really good dinner), there was plenty to do just there. Then, you find yourself minutes from some of the most famous surfing beaches in the world! All while having a laid back rural vibe where the pace of an ordinary day just melts away. We love this part of Oahu and hope to visit again and again. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed for a (3) week stay. Our host Mike was fantastic. Checking in on us to be sure all was in order. Available immediately for the (1) minor issue we had with the door code. He and his team were fantastic. Thanks for a great experience Mike!!

The condo was perfect for our week long stay exploring the North Shore in January. It was very clean and comfortable for us (2 adults, 2 teens, and a child). We loved the location as we spent most days exploring towns and beaches between Haleiwa and Laie. We could walk to Turtle Beach which was really nice for wading, snorkeling, and searching for crabs in the rocks. Plenty of food options within a short drive, we liked the food trucks in Kahuku and the restaurant right by Turtle Beach was really tasty, though expensive. The hosts communicated great and checking in and out was easy.

This VRBO rental had some positive aspects, such as its proximity to the beaches and being located in a secure gated community. However, our overall experience was extremely disappointing due to the condition of the property and the host’s behavior.The property itself is rundown and in need of significant repairs. During our stay, insects got into our food, which was very unpleasant. Additionally, the rental was poorly stocked—there was only one roll of toilet paper for our entire stay, and no bath soap or body wash was provided.The host was the biggest issue. Two days before check-in, he sent us an overwhelming list of strict rules, including not staining the towels, not running the air conditioner during the day, and limiting laundry use. He also double-booked our last day and pressured us to leave early, which we reluctantly did.To make matters worse, after our stay, the host attempted to charge us an extra 3 per day for electricity, claiming we exceeded his estimated usage. He also repeatedly hassled my wife about a payment she had already made, forcing her to send multiple screenshots as proof.While the location is great, the poor condition of the property and the host’s unprofessional behavior made this a terrible experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this rental—it’s not worth the stress and frustration.

We were very lucky to have found this spot - - overlooking the Fazio Golf Course and within a very short walking distance to the golf shop. We spent four days, two of them playing golf, one travel day and one day exploring the coastline @ Turtle Bay. Whenever I had a question about something, Helena was very quick to respond. Overall such a lovely experience that we are already talking about coming back next year at the same time. It truly, truly feels like the way Hawaii used to be. Well maintained property with the best views of all the condos nearby. This is not one of those condos facing your neighbors and the parking lot.Situated on the second floor, the unit gave us privacy and even a view of the breakers in the distance.We are not golfers, but the undulating green fairways catch the low-angle sunlight in wonderful ways. Then there are the many birds, including albatross.Loved the access to trails in all directions. And Kahuku Farms is just 5 minutes down the road.Great cross-ventilation and window screens meant no A/C needed (Jan).Owners were particularly helpful and communicative. We are grateful.

We had a great stay at the property, the location is great, the neighborhood very safe and friendly and it’s an easy walk to the beach and the Turtle Bay resort and restaurants.The property itself is clean but a bit dated. The AC units are very loud and some of the furniture broken. We kept having to fix the toilet from the downstairs bathroom. Overall it’s pretty good.

Place was nice. Very clean well kept pool and gardens. The dishwasher at the property does not work. It was supposed to be fixed but was not. Communication with the office was never answered nor was a price discount given. VRBO said the check in information would be sent out 3 days ahead. It was sent out the day before once we had started travelling, so had to find a wifi connection to retrieve. The accommodation’s wifi password given in the check in documents was not the proper password. We found one on the modem by the TV that worked. Several questions about where to find the bedding for the 3rd person and a proper wifi password were never answered. The office takes all weekend and holiday days off, so plan your stay to check in during office hours. When you are an international traveller without a phone plan an emergency phone number is of little use

Location is the benefit of this unit. Staying on the North Shore is a plus. The pool and the view of the golf course was nice. Party of 5: 2 adults, 2 adult children & 1 teenager.The Pros:The condo was extremely clean.2 of the air conditioners worked well.Security was good.Nice & quiet.Internet worked good.Parking was a breeze.This entire property does not even have a smoking area - so no smelling those nasty cigarettes at all!! Located close to SHRIMP TRUCKS! When we reported a problem, it was addressed promptly.The Cons:The master bedroom mattress was so hard it was painful to sleep on. The second bedroom mattress was so soft you sink into it. Felt like Goldilocks!The second bedroom air conditioner did not work.The shower in the main bathroom had firehose type pressure, uncomfortable to use at all.There were no common spices, cooking oil or baking sheets in the kitchen.The dryer vents INSIDE the condo, so when you use the dryer the whole condo gets hot and humid.Be advised: there are no beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler or beach umbrella for guests to use. We purchased these items & gave them away when we left.Overall nice place & would stay here again.

Had everything you needed for a comfortable vacation rental. Host is very accommodating and responsive. The only cons are the unit is older with thin curtains and tiles floors that are hard to keep clean. Also, the golf resort groom the course very early at 5:00 AM with a very noisy machine, shining bright lights into the unit. This happened twice during our stay.

Hands down the nicest condo I have ever rented anywhere. Directions and codes arrived on time, no stress about arrival details. Open the door and relax! The condo was spotless, with hotel quality sheets and towels, amenities we didn't expect as well as TONS of toys. We did add more masks and snorkels to the stock LOL. High end appliances, very nice decorations and one reason I chose this unit, functionall mini-split and room AC plus fans and screen lanai. Mahalos for everything, I would rent here again in a heartbeat.

Property is well located, just a few hundred feet from Turtle Bay Resort. The place is very clean and has everything you could possibly need. They have high quality pots and pans, coffee maker, blender, etc. Appliances are clean and new. It just seems that they have provided you with the same things they would have bought for themselves. The wi-fi is great and they have all of the channels you would want on the tv. The couches, chairs and beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean. We never had to contact the owners because we had no issues. I would recommend staying here.
