The unit was nicely renovated, clean and well appointed. The overall location on Oahu was beautiful. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the Turtle Bay Resort. There was AC as highlighted in the listing which drew me in when booking. In the Livingroom is a mini-split. In the bedroom, which is down a hall from the Livingroom, is a window type AC unit behind shutters and in the loft a portable AC unit vented to the outside. The noise level in the sleeping spaces associated with blowing air and the units cycling on/off (which is normal for these types of AC units) may be higher than what some guests are used to when compared with central air or a full mini-split system.

Very well maintained and equipped condo unit. Friendly area. People at Resort very welcoming when we went there for some meals and events. North Shore has many interesting beaches and other things to visit. When we were in Honolulu and people asked if we were staying there they were impressed when we said no we were staying on the North Shore and that it was their favorite place on the island.
Scenery on all of Oahu awe inspiring. Our first trip to Hawaii and loved it. So many great beaches no matter where we were.

My family’s stay here was amazing! The condo is walkable to the beach and turtle bay resort. Super close to great beaches and everything the north shore has to offer. The pictures matched the unit and our family of 6 adults had more than enough room and everything was comfortable and clean. We appreciated all of the beach equipment that was available! Stayed for one week with my parents. The location was perfect for us, 10 minute walk to the beach. Condo overlooks the golf course which has a walking path. The entire condo is IMMACULATE and very well organized. We would definitely stay again.

We couldn’t have had a better trip for our family of five. The condo was cute with plenty of room for us. My husband and I slept in the master bedroom, my two teenage girls easily shared a bed upstairs and my teenage son had his own bed upstairs. Loved our mornings on the deck facing the quiet golf course and listening to the birds. Plenty of snorkel gear, boogie boards and a cooler made our trips to the beach perfect. Thank you!

My family and I stayed at this Kuilima Estates condo for a week. Everything looks exactly like the photos - clean, comfortable and cool. We used the kitchen and appliances every day, and enjoyed playing games on the coffee table. There was plenty of room for four of us, and I could see a family of 6 still having plenty of space. The location is just down the street (walking distance, if you like) to the Turtle Bay public beach, which we enjoyed several times. Emily and her team were extremely responsive to any and all of our questions. Highly Recommend!!

This property was perfect for our family. We loved the location on the North Shore. It was easy to find, and had everything we needed. The beach toys, and kitchen had everything we needed. Someone had put in their review that they left a muffin out and ants got into it so we brought zip lock bags for our counter top food just in case and had no problems at all. Washer and Dryer were fantastic. Didn't realize it would be so fun to do some laundry while on vacation. Definitely want to stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is a convenient short walk to the Turtle Bay golf course’s pro shop and to the Turtle Bay resort. The kitchen had equipment and kitchenware we needed to make and enjoy a few nice meals. The house is clean with comfortable beds and thick luxurious towels. The boogie boards and water gear was a nice bonus.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo-- very clean, very comfortable beds and furniture. Good location near Turtle Bay Resort. Only improvement would be better lighting of the building , porch and parking lot. We arrived after dark and it was difficult to find the condo unit number due to poor porch and stairway lighting.

The unit was exactly as described. It was clean, welcoming, and perfect for my family. The main bedroom was a comfortable size with a full bathroom. The two beds upstairs in the loft area was very roomy for my two teens and the powder room was a bonus for them. The kitchen had enough items if you wanted to cook. We were there to celebrate a birthday, so no cooking was done on this trip. The unit had both a Keurig & regular coffee maker - which was awesome! Got to brew my own Ka'u coffee! Bathrooms had enough towels; even for us gals. Laundry detergent available for clothes washing. We got to the unit very late the first day and the entry area was pretty dark. Luckily our phone has a flashlight app to help us see the entry keypad. Going forward, I remembered to leave the porch light on before leaving in the evening. Community is very nice, quiet, & security patrol is present. No one was staying next to us in the neighboring unit, so we lucked out on having a bit more privacy. We only encountered one minor mishap during our stay. The first night, we had no hot water to shower in, however, it was working the rest of our stay. I think it was just a random occurrence that resolved itself. The property manager did contact me about it which I appreciated. The only recommendations I have is to have a nice note made & placed on the kitchen island informing guests to not leave food out due to ants. We made the mistake of leaving a 1/2 eating muffin in a paper bag and 30-mins later the entire counter was full of ants. Second, the master bedroom sink does not drain very well. I would have that quickly resolved. Overall, the unit & community was wonderful and looking forward to another time we can stay on that side of Oahu again.

I would highly recommend staying here at Turtle Bay. My family of 5 adults attended a wedding . The accommodations were perfect for our needs. We didn't use the beach gear , however , beach chairs , beach towels , cooler , snorkel gear but was all available. Very nice touch of Macadamia chocolates was left as a welcome gift . Check in super easy . Beach access in walking distance , great restaurant on premise, loved the fact there was a washer and dryer . Thank you for a wonderful stay , would definitely return !

3 adults and one infant under two slept comfortably in this unit located on the top floor. We utilized all the space except for the patio but that was our choosing to keep apartment cool. We were pleasantly surprised with the amenities and gear for the beach (no umbrella though). We'd also like to call out we noticed very small ants on the kitchen countertops (before we even settled down). So beware they do mention bugs in the pamphlet and leaving no food behind. Overall comfortable stay in the North Shore!

Beautiful property - we absolutely loved staying here. It was so, so well appointed with everything we could possibly need. Gorgeous finishing and a super comfy king bed. Very clean. Quiet location with a private pool. You can stroll up to Turtle Bay resort and have a cocktail to watch the sunset. The second shower confused me but a message to the owners sorted it out quickly. This was our 1st time staying on the North Shore of Oahu and I am so glad we chose this property. It was the perfect size for my family of 4 and its location to Turtle Bay resort (short walk) allowed for use of the beach and restaurants. In addition to being newly renovated and having all the comforts of home, the hosts supplied beach items such as towels, chairs, a cooler and boards for the kids. It was such a relief to know we didn't have to worry about any of that! The unit, building and general area were very clean. The hosts (Emily & Diego) were quick to respond to any inquiry and were so pleasant with all their communications. Overall, it was a great week at a fantastic property. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Mahalo!

The check process was streamlined and easy. The kitchen had everything I needed for meal prep, cooking and serving. I was pleasantly surprised by having dishwashing soap, dish soap, small travel sized bath soaps and shampoos all available for us. The towels were very thick and nice to use. The master bed mattress was the most comfortable mattress I have used in any rental property.
The property was easy to find with the given directions. We had a wonderful time on the island

The property is located next to the gorgeous turtle Bay resort which provides fun recreational activities, delicious restaurants, and spectacular views. The condo is extremely clean and charming. The balcony is stocked with everything you’ll need for the beach. And the air conditioning works great! We enjoyed an unexpected visitor right below the balcony, a gorgeous peacock came by and my family was thrilled! I spoke with the host and she was very kind. I do hope we make it back to Hawaii again and if we do I will book this property again!

My husband and I have been coming to the Turtle Bay resort area for a few years. We started by staying at the hotel and then transitioned to the condos in an effort to access the resort amenities at a more reasonable cost. This condo was awesome! It provided the space we needed, was amazingly clean, and more importantly had fantastic air conditioning throughout the condo. The pictures on VRBO are a great representation of the property and its amenities. The property management team was amazing to work with and provided us with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay.

We were looking for something away from the Waikiki crowds - and this was it. My experience was the TB resort and its beaches weren’t terribly accessible, but the forest on the North end of the beach was great for walks.
The complex is quiet and the condo faces a great direction for cross breezes. The lanai was a comfortable place to watch the birds while sipping morning coffee. Kitchen is well stocked for basic needs, but also has a Keurig and Ninja blender. The 3 A/C units did a good job of creating comfortable sleeping temperatures. Unit is crowded with close furniture, so I wouldn’t want to hang out inside all day, but It’s a great location to make dinner, sleep in, the serve as home base when exploring the North Shore, windward, and leeward coasts. Beaches, grocery stores, hikes, and touristy Haleiwa are all within a 30 minute drive.

Wish we could have stayed longer than two nights! We felt so lucky to book this condo fairly last minute, because it was perfect for our family’s needs. It was immaculately clean, and it was such a pleasure to stay in such a recently renovated condo. The kitchen is extremely well furnished with everything you might need, and everything is new and in great condition. (Unlike many other rentals!)
There was plenty of space for our family of four, and our two teenagers really enjoyed sleeping in the upstairs loft. It’s just a short walk to the beach at Kuilima Cove or to the amenities at Turtle Bay Resort. The condo is also situated in a really central location to explore the North Shore, and we appreciated the short drive to the Kahuku food trucks and Seven Brothers burgers! (Highly recommended if you want some tasty and affordable meals. The resort restaurants are very expensive, and you usually need an advance reservation).
Communication with Emily was easy, and she was quick to respond to the couple of questions I had. Check-in was a breeze, which is always appreciated with a rental! All-in-all, this is a fabulous place to stay, and we hope to return some day!

Beds were comfy, kitchen was perfect for us and there was even some snorkel equipment, boogie board, beach chairs and towels we could use for the short (10-15 minute) walk to the beach. The restaurants on the resort complex are expensive but there are very good food trucks within a 15 minute drive of the apartment.

This was a beautiful property on the North Shore. Our stay was short but we took advantage of all we could. We were at Turtle Bay Kuilima Cove within just a few minutes walk. We really enjoyed our time relaxing on the lanai overlooking the golf course. The property manager was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t say enough about this beautiful property! Inside was immaculate, from the linen, to the bathrooms and bedrooms everything was clean and smelt so fresh. Very modernized and up to date interior. Loved the pool and the atmosphere. The management team, are outstanding, between Diego and Emily, any questions were answered quickly and promptly, they went above and beyond our expectations. Even checked on us to make sure everything was what we expected. We will definitely use this property again for a nice, clean, relaxing stay in a beautiful modernized air conditioned unit.
