Moku'auia Islet Seabird Sanctuary, also know as Goat Island, is a small islet located about 300 yards offshore from Malaekehana Beach Park. The islet is open to the public but visitors are not allowed to venture beyhond the high water mark (beach) to avoid trampling seabird burrows (see DLNR site for more information). It is possible to wade to the island in low tides and calm sees, although it's not recommended unless you're accompanied by a guide.
