Very happy on our recent stay in Lahaina, Maui! Spent 2 weeks at this property in Kaanapali Shores, and I must say it provided all and more than we needed. The location is central to everything in West Maui. Very near food places and there’s a grocery store across the street which is extremely helpful for our extended stay. There is plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. Kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed especially on those days (and nights) that we didn’t feel like eating out. We will definitely be back here! Thank you John for the prompt response and very nice accommodation!

overall I woud give it a 10 however I would even give it a 12 if the bathroom lights and the smaller bedroom lights are given a makeover. they are all too dim. Cant even read in bed . the bathroom fixtures although fully functional need freshening up and updating. they are so outdated, considering the price that we pay per night,. our host is wonderful. we do not need anything, everything ran smoothly.

We had the best time at this property! The views were amazing and so beautiful to wake up to the ocean every morning. My kids loved playing corn hole and connect four on the grass and played in a pickup game of football with some other kids! The pools were great and the beach option right there was perfect for us! We were able to walk to the food trucks or the shopping center across the street! Perfect location to everything! We will definitely be staying here again!

Great size place with everything you need in a condo. Like the fact that this is a bit quieter than many other resorts yet still had everything you need including good snorkeling from the beach (with a great big turtle). Didn’t realize you had to pay for parking but was reasonable and for the gym which was a bit outdated but met our needs. Few issues around maintenance but owner handled in a fairly timely manner. Would definitely recommend for a family - they even had a nice Easter Egg hunt on the day we were leaving.

The renting process was simple as was the payment making. It was the perfect size for 5 adults and one 7 year old. We had amazing views of the ocean and of the great lawn with the pools. Owners checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did Would definetly stay in their condo again. There are updates that could be done (as with any place), so if you are a picky person that likes to complain about the small stuff, this would not be for you. We on the other hand enjoyed it to the fullest. Mahalo for sharing your piece of paradise with us!!

The two bedroom was as promised. It was fully equipped and we ate in about 70% of the time. The room is well worn and there are stains in the carpet. There are chairs and kid toys at the property including snorkeling stuff. The wagon was handy for taking food and water up to the room. This unit is not high end but it was fine for our needs.

This condo is well appointed and the perfect location! I already miss sitting on the couch staring out at the amazing view. You are literally steps from the beach! You park right by the condo which makes it super easy to unload.

John was great to work with. He was helpful, available and responsive. The property is in a great location and has all the essentials and lots of toys/gear. On the flip side, the unit sleeps six, but the sofa bed was uncomfortable. One of closet doors doors is off the frame, and many of the lights don't work. We didn't let it stop us from having a good time!

We could not have asked for more in a Maui family vacation. The owner was easy to work with, even texting to make sure we did not need anything. The resort property is very nice with lovely grounds and views. Parking was convenient. The unit was clean and comfortable, had updated furnishings, was well stocked with everything we needed (even beach chairs, towels, pool noodles, boogie boards) was close to everything, and had plenty of room. The kitchen was fully stocked for those that want to cook. The property is steps to a sandy beach, 2 pools and a hot tub. The resort property was never too crowded at the pools or the beach and the views were amazing. There are restaurants, food trucks, and a grocery store within walking and a short drive to Whaler's Village and Lahaina for more shops and restaurants.

We were so comfortable in this rental. It’s not fancy but it had everything we needed and the location can’t be beat. Steps away from the ocean! We had 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 children. One teenager slept on an air mattress but everyone else had a bed (or sofa bed). The hosts were amazingly helpful. I’d go back tomorrow if I could!

We had a wonderful stay with our family. The location is THE BEST. Close to causal dining and the fun food trucks. The resort was clean and the beaches were not as crowded as the southern end of Kaanapali. The location of the condo is the best you will find..

Our family had a wonderful time at this resort property. The unit had easy access to the beach and the beach was never crowded.
The unit had a great lanai with exceptional views of the ocean. The lanai provided an excellent place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon drink.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a low-key resort destination.

This is a great place to spend time with family. Located in a resort hotel that is a quick walk to the beach or the grocery store, and a short drive to Lahaina, we felt at home in this clean and nice 2-bedroom condo. John was helpful by text and e-mail, so check-in and checkout were as smooth as possible.

On short notice we decided to take a few days and go to Maui. John was quick to respond with a couple of questions we had and very helpful with walking us through the process. Roomy two bedroom, nice patio with a view of pool and ocean. The elevator was close for my dad requiring a walker. We enjoyed the pool bar and restaurant right across from the condo. Our stay was comfortable and the place was quiet. The pizza place was very good across the street for a quick bite later in the evening.

After telling the owner several times about the musty odor in the unit he had the air conditioning cleaned, the carpet and sofa cleaned. Made a huge difference. We kept doors closed after cleaning and no mire odor. There are a few more items that need repairs. Guest bath has no towel bar at sink, sink does not hold water and hair dryer on walk dies not work. Master bathtub is very difficult to get in and out of. and needs safety bar to hold on to. There are also no towel bars in the sink area if master bath. Dryer only drys on permanent press or whites. Washer extremely noisy on spin cycle. Oven timer does not work. Master bedroom needs better lighting. Cannot read a book in bed and no light on dresser. Guest bedroom has no dresser or. drawers and only one bed table. King bed fills entire room. No tv in guest room. Drawer dividers needed in kitchen drawers for utensils and extra knives. Had to combine utensils to have space for groceries .
An instruction book for the unit would be extremely helpful. Tv and cable box are very unusual to operate and instructions for kitchen appliances would be helpful.

We had two families, 4 adults and 4 kids (15,12,11,10). Condo was plenty big enough for us and in a great location. Beautiful view of the ocean. The swimming pools are very kid friendly, music playing and cool lights at night. John was very quick to respond and check in and out was super easy.

We loved this unit at the Aston Kaanapali Shores. The unit was very spacious and had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. It was equipped with everything we needed for our trip. Definitely recommend!
