CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Kaanapali Shores Resort is under spalling construction until around June 2024. We would like to advise you that there could be construction noise during your stay. We are not sure how much disruption will occur. You may experience construction noise, one day it can be loud and on other days it can be quiet.
Aston Kaanapali Shores is a 3-star, AAA-rated 10-acre oceanfront resort located on the famous North Kaanapali Beach. A large open-air lobby greets you when you arrive at the resort along with the smell of fresh flowers from the beautiful tropical grounds. A quick walk through the lobby will bring you to the brand-new resort pool, passing a waterfall, hot tubs, and large grassy area. There is a Beach Club Restaurant and Bar where you can grab a Mai Tai and a bite to eat to fulfill the Hawaii vacation dream. Take a walk to the ocean to witness gorgeous sunsets and sandy beaches.

If by chance the cleaners missed a small detail, please contact our 24x7 support line so we have an opportunity to resolve.

BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

We loved our trip to Kaanapali! The condo was gorgeous! Great view of the ocean, pool and nightly sunsets. Comfortable king bed master for my husband & I and twin beds in the kids’ room. The property had everything we needed: pool, restaurant/bar, shops and was close to everything. We can’t wait to come back and will definitely stay here again!

We’ve stayed here before and love this location for many reasons. However the staff this time lost their Aloha spirit and couldn’t even muster up a smile when we walked past the desk or a good morning when passing in the hallways. It definitely changes the way you feel about a vacation when you don’t feel welcome. We will stay somewhere else if we come back to Maui in the future.

Very easy booking, check in/out very simple as well. Unit was perfect for our adult family of 4. Unit was cleaned before our arrival, but not really clean…could barely see out the dirty door wall window, found toe nail in one bed & kitchen counters streaked and dirty. Other than having to “re-clean” the unit was very nice & as described except view was not nearly as nice as described, still good, but not great. The building is very outdated & need of upgrades…pool “bar/restaurant “ is NOT good! Filthy dirty & bad food!! Other than cleanliness of unit I would rate it an A. The resort a B-, the restaurant D.

This place was amazing. The property was perfect with a pool and restaurant right on the property. There was also a food truck park right off the main parking lot that made for easy meals! There was even a beach a few minute walk from the property. Would highly recommend staying here!!

We absolutely loved it! Endless adventures. We watched the whales and sunsets from the large balcony. Cozy beds. Great water pressure in renovated baths. We loved having the laundry in the unit. Restaurant, coffee shop, and bar were fabulous. Lots to walk to all around. We will be back! Loved it.

We had a great first stay in Maui. This condo was a great location on the 6th floor right next to the elevator (but can’t hear anything) and great view of pools and ocean. The place is well stocked and the service team was very responsive to needs around the ice maker. The fridge has filtered water on the inside. The coffee pot is not a keurig. We did not need to buy extra soaps. The cleaning was great. And we appreciated the availability of the chairs and coolers but didn’t end up using.

This property was amazing!!! The condo was perfect size for my family of five. The pools were great, which our balcony overlooked. The sounds of the ocean and the birds put us to sleep each night and greeted us each morning. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We stayed with family for 5 days and everything was great.. from clean unit, great timely text communication throughout the stay from the management company to the location and view from unit 613 is amazing… has 2 lanai’s one in master bedroom … location is terrific the food truck lot is right next door and great coffee shop and bar/cafe (Java soup Nutz) across the street… we will be back hopefully with family soon

What a wonderful condo!! It's rare that pictures capture the true feeling or tell the whole story, but the pictures posted are exactly as it is in person. Open, airy, clean, beautiful, and beachy! We had the second room set up as a king instead of the two twins, and it worked out perfectly! The kitchen has anything and everything you could need, from dishes and coffee maker to bowls and cooking necessities. Having the washer/dryer there was great for washing towels midweek, too.
The location is fantastic, with easy access to the elevator, trash drop/room, grounds, and beautiful views of both the pool and ocean! Sitting on the balcony in the morning and again at sunset was one of our favorites!!
The only heads up I have is to suggest buying ice when you get your groceries. The refrigerator is new and has plenty of space, but no ice maker. If you need it, be sure to grab it. :)
Looking forward to going back! We would absolutely love to stay here time and again. What a wonderful and memorable first trip to Maui!!
