Located atop fabulous Kaanapali Shores, a AAA, triple diamond rated resort, on world famous Kaanapali Beach. The penthouse has a plush king size bed and a queen sofa sleeper, central air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, an LED slim-design HD TV, blue-ray DVD and free in-room Internet. The kitchen, complete with new cabinets, full size stove, refrigerator and dishwasher, granite counters, bathroom cabinetry and other upgrades. New carpets installed 3/31/2023

The penthouse has a long history of high ratings. We have made this an unforgettable vacation experience with extra touches added to the awesome views and outstanding resort amenities. It is highly rated for special events like honeymoons or anniversaries.

Stay at a destination resort and enter into in the tropical resort through a beautiful open lobby. Experience the sights, sounds and fragrances of Maui, a waterfall surrounded by flowers, lush foliage and a koi stream. Enjoy the oceanfront main pool, jacuzzi, the garden pool or sunbathing on the beach in a chaise lounge. Relax while dining at the Kaanapali Shores restaurant, conveniently located, just steps from the beach.

Kaanapali Shores offers amenities including a health club, beauty salon, gift shop, outdoor massage, children's programs, onsite DVD rental kiosk, activities desk and concierge services-plus our guests do not pay a resort fee (guests booked through Aston do). Just beyond the resort gates there is a shopping center, with a supermarket, coffee shop, restaurants/bars, dive shop, gift shop, and more. Just down the street there is a farmer's market and natural food store--and no trip to Maui is complete without sampling the local farmer's fruit and produce.

Back in your condo, you can enjoy a latte (machine provided) while you watch breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Molokai Island, whale watching or simply relaxing while viewing rainbows or the sunset from the privacy of your lanai. (Resort parking fee of $9 per day may apply to your stay). Per Hawaiian Law, there is no smoking in vacation rentals or on the lanais (balconies). Daily or interim maid service (including daily coffee and shampoo) is NOT included with this rental. There is NO resort fee with this rental but there is an additional fee for parking on site (covered parking is available). Check out time is 11 in the morning on the last date of your stay range.

TAX
The State of Hawaii mandates a total tax of 17.962%. Excise tax is 4.172% and Transient Tax is 13.25% effective as of November 1, 2021 to be paid on all transient accommodations. Taxes are identified on the reservation confirmation (Subject to change). (The higher rate of 17.962% applies to all departures starting 1/1/2024 regardless of when the property was booked.

Taxes are paid to the state of Hawaii and County of Maui based on the guest’s dates of stay. Any changes to the current tax rate will be charged or refunded to the guests depending on the increase or decrease.

CANCELATION POLICY: Cancellation outside a 60-day period prior to arrival is subject to a 10% (of total) cancellation fee. Overall good, unit had a odor smelled a bit damp and must, bed was very uncomfortable for me. I have arthritis and other issues, had to sleep on the couch.

Pros: The unit has a huge sliding window with a beautiful ocean view, check-in was easy, staff at property is friendly and helpful, communication with property manager was excellent, good location, short walk to beach, close to grocery store, well equipped clean kitchen, easy parking, nice air conditioner. Cons: Carpet is worn out and VERY stained, bathroom grout has spots of mold, bathroom screen needs cleaning/replacing, bed is comfortable however, there is an egg crate mattress pad that needs replacing. They are like sponges that soak up perspiration and egg crate pads cannons be washed as a regular mattress pad can. Also, the bed could use better quality sheets. Unit needs some TLC.

This is a nice unit for 2 people. Storage is limited. The view is beautiful and much better than the photo shows. The one downside is there is a pickle ball court across the way, and they play on and off until 11PM.

Wonderful!!!! Great view! So nice and homey! The pictures don’t do it justice. Host was immediately responsive to everything and even dropped Maui coffee off for us! Would absolutely recommend staying here! I appreciated the French press in the kitchen to make my coffee in the morning. This unit isn’t associated directly with the property since you are renting through VRBO (via hotels.com) so we were told we couldn’t use the luggage carts because of that. Not the end of the world just something to be mindful of. The fitness center on the property is $7.00 per person/day to use and is open Monday through Saturday 7a-3p. Parking was $9/day paid at check in. It was nice to have pool towels provided to change out whenever needed. The pools and hot tubs were nice and clean. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and cooler that were available in the unit. This was a fabulous stay with an even more fabulous host!!! 5 stars for sure!!!

This was our second time staying at Fereshteh’s lovely condo. Her home has become our home away from home. There’s nothing better than waking up to the beautiful sound of the ocean and watching the sunset from the top floor.
