PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular pest control, but some insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.

Hawaiʻi’s tropical environment supports a variety of island wildlife, including geckos, ants, and occasional roosters. Despite regular professional pest control, these are part of normal island living. Our units are carefully cleaned and inspected, and any contact with such pests does not constitute a breach of agreement or qualify for refund or adjustment.

Our stay was very enjoyable! It was quiet and had beautiful ocean view. It was clean. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen and living quarters were just what we needed. The washer and dryer came in very handy. I would recommend you stay here. It is a great place!!

The kitchen was great and had lots to offer. We saw about ten small roaches during our stay but were easily taken care of.

We loved our stay at KS as a family. It was the perfect rental for us. We loved how close it was to the beach, the facility was wonderful, the pools were beautiful and location to other things was super close. We definitely would go back again.
