We had a great time in the North Shore area. The Kuilima Estates at Turtle Bay was a very clean, nice, and quiet area. The condo itself was clean upon arrival and convenient to all locations we visited. The only mishap we had was that we weren't able to connect to WiFi, which was very minor compared to all the great things we did in the area.

The location is convenient and the dedicated parking spot was appreciated. The apartment is fully furnished, and Beverly was very kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with.The unit is very dated and not modern. Furniture is old and worn, with a noticeable musty smell. There is no air conditioning—only fans—which was uncomfortable. The bathtub was very old and looked unclean, the TV did not work properly, and lighting was dim with no overhead lights, lamps only. The listing photos were misleading and made the space appear more updated than it is.

We had a great stay. Was a perfect set up for our family and excellent location for us. Weather was not cooperating, but all good. We were happy to be back to hawaii where we once lived. There are some issues with the home that the owner should know about. Couple of small things. The stopper in the upstairs bath room in the bowl sink is broken and just propped there, needs to be replaced. Upstairs louver in the loft, the one towards the floor is now able to open, the handle needs oil and adjustment. Lastly, there is a lot of standing water under the fridge that is warping the flooring in front of the refrigerator. The downstairs bath vent does not vent and lastly the screen door in the front the piston needs to be changed. Takes forever to close and at the last minute it slams shut. Not so nice for the neighbors who are great by the way. None of that effected us, but please pass along to the owner so he knows and can address if he wishes. We had a great time and will be back. I'd definitely expect a few more things from the condo itself, especially when spending the amount of money.- 2-ply toilet paper should be an absolute certainty when spending nearly 1000 for two nights.- Facial tissues would be nice to have as well, rather than being forced to use the single ply toilet paper to blow my nose.- The screen door for the back balcony is basically broken and off it's wheel well.- I'd love to have some art on the walls! It felt very stale, no character at all beyond the architecture itself.- The full size washer/dryer with readily available detergent pods was a great touch.

The property itself #125 in Kuilima Estates was very nice and in a great location. The home was comfortable and well situated.However, there were a few issues that made our visit more frustrating than expected. The listing mentioned that soap would only be provided for a few days, but there was no laundry detergent and no dishwasher detergent at all, so we had to purchase laundry soap for one load. In addition, there were no basic condiments or supplies that are typically found at a VRBO—no sugar for coffee, no salt, and no oil for cooking. There were also no measuring cups or spoons, which made even simple things like making coffee more difficult. It was obvious that the owners did no want you cooking at all, so if you plan to cook, be prepared to buy the essentials, or pick another one of these units.For a short stay in Hawaii, having to travel 40 minutes to go out and buy all of these items adds up quickly and becomes quite expensive. While the property itself was lovely, better stocking of basic essentials would have made the experience much more comfortable and guest-friendly.

The place was clean. We had an issue where the keypad on the door locked us out and wouldn't work. It was afterhours (on a Saturday) and never got in touch with the host. The security at the complex couldn't help out and it was only when we asked a cleaning person that was next door if she knew how to contact someone that the code again worked. No response to my email that I sent or call to the afterhours was ever received. The only suggestion would be the mattress was a little too soft and it may be a good idea to invest in a new mattress.

Hosts respond quickly. Property in great location for North Shore activities. Access to resort restaurants & beaches a plus. Pretty pool but too cold due to weather. . Front & back doors need attention. Slider came off track a couple of times and screen fell completely off. Small lanai with wooden bench as only outdoor seating. Beach chairs and fins and goggles available to use.

We wanted to stay close to Turtle Bay, with easy walking distance to the beach. We could get to the beach and some restaurants within 10 minutes. The unit itself was clean and had all the amenities we could ask for. We had one very minor issue with the dryer and the caretaker responded promptly when I contacted them. We would most definitely stay there again.

If you are looking for a condo on the North Shore this condo had everything you need! Bed’s were very comfortable and both bedrooms were equipped with A/C units. The location offered a nice breeze so the bedroom a/c units were not used during our visit. Ceiling fans throughout condo were appreciated. The pool was very close to this unit. I also appreciated the screened front door and large Lanai that was completely screened in. If I ever need to stay on the North Shore again, I have this condo bookmarked!

This was the best stocked VRBO that we have ever stayed. Located in the Turtle Bay complex, the condo was very clean and came with everything we needed (soaps, trash bags, coffee, TP, paper towels, ext). All we had to buy was food. More than enough space for all of us. The condo area was very quiet and backs into the golf course. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at Turtle Bay a number of times. This particular condo had everything we needed, was in a great location and was quiet and comfortable. For more than one couple it provided two sleeping areas that were well separated. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of room to hold supplies.

Everything was awesome. We loved staying here, it was clean and the kitchen had everyhing we needed to fix breakfast each morning we enjoyed having breakfast on the patio and listening to the birds and looking at the beautiful golf course. We were not told that the gate code would not work before 3:00pm had to get out of line to let others pass (we were 30min early coming from Waikīkī) stove burners do not fit the stove need a flat solid surface to cook on. Dish washer not functional, the toaster looked like it came from goodwill 20 years ago. Futon is is not good furniture for the living room.(to low and hard to get out of. To much paint and other stuff stored under cabnets.very nice new cabnets. Clean and just functional. Good location nice pool.

For anyone wanting be away from the hustle and bustle of “town,” this North Shore property is your ideal spot for peaceful, tranquil relaxation. The host is the most helpful & responsive VRBO host I’ve ever had. The place was very clean, very well-equipped and comfortable. Nice roomy condo on the North side of the island. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was great. Check-in/checkout was very easy. Was a little disappointed that the pool closest to the condo was closed the week we were there for repairs. Did not have advance notice of that.
