We appreciated the electronic door lock, the beach chairs, cooler and ice packs, and the convenience of two bathrooms. Overall our stay was fine. Four star ratings due to maintenance issues with paint, flooring, ceiling fan and maybe a detailed deep cleaning. For us, bed was too firm.

This was a wonderful home base for my North Shore trip! The condo was very clean and fully stocked with kitchen supplies, beach gear, books/games, Brita water pitcher, and more. The host had great communication and provided easy/clear instructions for check-in (entry codes, wifi, etc). For anyone with mobility issues or who prefers to avoid the stairway to the loft bedroom, I can personally vouch that the futon couch in the living room is quite comfy to sleep on! And last but not least, the view is even more lovely than the pictures show - you can even see peeks of the ocean through the trees. Would gladly stay here again!

Perfect stay! Mike's place was so beautiful and peaceful - just what we needed. Fully stocked kitchen made for wonderful meals and fresh ground coffee to sip on the lanai watching the sunrise. Clean, refreshing tradewinds and beautiful setting. Comfortable beds and clean! Great communication and we felt so welcomed! Looking forward to our next stay.

Pests: ants and cockroaches throughout the unit, w/ only a minimal number of traps provided. While we appreciated the additional traps and spray upon request, pest control should not be something guests need to request upon arrivalUnit Condition: The unit shows signs of wear and is not recently remodeled. Bathroom fixtures, & doors have rust or chips, and baseboards show water stains. The front door and gate/screen door have gaps at the bottom with no stoppers, leaving openings to the outside; we were advised to place a towel there, which does not feel secure. A piece of the door lock had to be reattached upon arrival. The balcony screen door is ripped, allowing bugs in and preventing it from staying open.Furniture & Bedding: Patio furniture is extremely worn and not suitable for sitting or dining outdoors. The main bed is lumpy and lacks a proper bed frame, making it uncomfortable.Kitchen: There is no DW, and the unit lacked some basic kitchen tools such as scissors, measuring cups, and large bowls, which made meal prep difficult. The water sensor also limits continuous dishwashing. Additionally, stove knobs have no visible markings, making it unclear which burner corresponds to which dial.Supplies: We were initially expected to supply our own toilet paper, which was surprising for a short-term rental at this level. The owner did eventually provide some.Transparency about the unit’s condition and age would help set appropriate guest expectations.

Has many amenities and beats staying at a hotel. The vacuum cleaner did not work so unfortunately we could not clean up the floors very well. The washer and dryer work excellent. The showers are great. The bedding is comfortable. There are some beach chairs and umbrellas that came in handy. The utensils could be upgraded. The blue iron in the kitchen pantry does not work but the one in the master bathroom does work great.

We loved our stay at Kuilima condos. Though the condo could use some updating, we preferred the significant discounted rate provided compared to other condos in this complex. The grounds are a truly tropical experience with access to beautiful gardens, a pool area and to a beach you can always swim in even when the surf is big. The condo was supplied with many things we needed for our stay.

Our family stay was wonderful. Lots of room for our family of 4, A/C was strong and wonderful. Incredible location for Turtle Bay sunrises and sunsets (5 min walk) and touring around the North Shore. For our family of 3 adults and one five-year old, this unit had a great location! Quiet and beautiful access to closed golf course. The beach, stables, and hiking trails were nearby, within 5-10 min walk.The unit itself is well kept, adequate supplied with dishes and cooking utensils. Stove, frig, and microwave, washer and dryer all worked well. Unfortunately dishwasher left alot of residue on dishes, so we just handwashed.The unit meet our needs for 3 nights we were there. The only neg was the panty/kitchen closet door where trash can was stored wouldn't open, doorknob was broken. We texted the number and received almost immediately response. Even sent repair guy the following day. Also fixed the front entry doorknob as we had difficulty opening it. As with most units in the area, this unit felt well used, but clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Communication with property manager was helpful. He made himself available and called to check on our stay. We got turned around with Google Maps and could not figure out which entrance to use to access the condo's correct grounds. When I texted, he called and helped us figure out where we needed to go. The unit was clean, in a great location (quiet, which was what we loved the most), and had a lot of beach supplies (towels, umbrellas, folding chairs) on the Lanai that were a nice touch.

Helena always kept us well informed. We had an issue with the water drainage which was resolved very quickly. The unit was in good condotion, it lacked nothing. The location was ideal for us. Restaurant, hotel, restaurant, bars and beach are all within walking distance. Check-in and check-out were very easy.
