Beds were comfortable. Lots of towels. Kitchen is small but versatile. Patio was nice. We didn’t use the tv because Hawaii. Internet was slow (DSL) but it worked. Again, didn’t really use it.
Beach across the street is nice during sunset. Plenty of beach supplies.

Easy to find location. Great directions given by property management. Parking area is somewhat tight but do able. Small outdoor pool was enjoyed by the kids. Appreciated having some old lawn chairs to use. Kids enjoyed the boogie board that was there to use. All kitchen appliances and utensils that were needed were available. Appreciated the few steps away from the beach on days we didn’t want to drive anywheres. Quiet condo complex. A/c units good. Seafood restaurant next door - Isana. Overall great location for travellers on a budget that don’t need all the fancy stuff.

Like many other renters we were very happy with Kathy's place. Had everything that we needed for cooking and other amenities. The back area was great for sitting out and enjoying the weather. The beach was just a couple minute walk. Will book again if going back to Maui. Perfect starting point for the whole island. If you are still pondering on not going to Maui because if Lahaina, Do go, they are very welcoming and kept telling us they are glad that we didn't cancel our trip. Just be respectful of Lahaina. We did not travel the road that direction out of respect to the people but you can take the bypass road.

This is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The location was great for beaches and seeing the island. The condo was quiet and spacious. We loved that the host had snorkeling gear, a cooler, and beach towels (and an umbrella) to use while there. It didn’t have air conditioning, but the condo got a great breeze with the windows open, and we didn’t need AC. Although the pool is not heated, it was also warm and nice. Our kids spent at least an hour swim every day. The condo also had walking access to the beach. The sunsets were amazing. The kitchen was stocked with many appliances and spices, which made it easy to cook some meals at home. The beds were comfortable. I really only have positive things to say about this place! The hosts put a lot of thought into making sure it was stocked with everything you could need, and we really felt like we were at home there. It looks like it’s been recently renovated with nice flooring and updated countertops in the kitchen. It was helpful to have drying racks and a washer/ dryer there. I highly recommend this condo. If we take another trip to The Big Island, I would absolutely want to stay here again!!

The place is at the great central location of the island. We were able to do daily trips all over Maui and it would take us no time at all to get to all locations. The apartment is spacious, clean, and it has everything you might need. It's on the ground floor so easy for suitcases. The kitchen is well equipped, they have beach chairs, games, books... Beds are comfortable. Check in and out was extremely easy. We had a great experience.

My husband ,Mother in law 2kids (15&8) and myself stayed in this cute condo it was perfect to watch the sun set and rise! The condo was clean and has pots pans dishes so we made dinners at the condo.The beach is across the street so we walked over every evening.I totally will tell friends and family about the condo and recommend it the couch is comfy( it is a little out dated as people put in the reviews) but it isnt ripped or dirty and the sleeper sofa was comfy!

It’s literally across the street from the beach! The patio gate goes right out to the pool so it feels like it’s you’re own pool. They need to update the pool furniture, replace the countertop in the kitchen as it has a little crater in the middle of it, and they need to fix the flooring near the hallway. My husband got a splinter in his foot. We enjoyed the patio and barbecue in the backyard.

We had a great stay! Great location. Quiet area. We recommend updating the property pictures though. The pictures online make it look like a cute little grandma cottage (which there is nothing wrong with that we just thought it looked nicer in person) but it was pretty modern with cute ocean themed decor! Would totally stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The king bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and in good working order. The lanai was great and used daily for breakfast and/or cocktail hour. There is a larger outdoor dining table in the shared space which looked nice but we did not need to use. The beach is 1 block away, especially nice for watching sunsets - not the best for swimming. Beach chairs/umbrella/cooler provided. We kept them in car for impromptu outings. Great restaurant Isana Sushi which serves til 10 pm also within 1 block. Host was responsive when we alerted her that the grills' proprane tanks depleted, Replaced the next day. Had basic condiments in fridge. Very basic pots/pans. My only suggestion would be to add a few more items to kitchen like a pitcher for making ice tea and at least 1 pyrex baking dish.

We had a nice stay. Pool and property were kept nice.
Clean, just some hand and foot marks on walls of bedroom that were missed. The jet tub could use some scrubbing. Would not reccomend using as a bath tub, only shower. Useful items were available to us, pool toys, etc. The one bedroom has only a fan. I feel it would be beneficail to have a portable A/C if possible. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Conveniently located in a nice quiet spot of Kihei away from the more busier areas.The kitchen had everything we need for us to make breakfast before heading out for the day and dinner at night. Having 2 bathrooms was great. The neighbors were all respectful of each of each other. Check in process was a breeze. Internet speed was ok for regular surfing. Only 1 bedroom has an air conditioner but it wasnt working properly when we got there. Apparently the caretaker was already notified by the previous guest and they wanted to send someone to fix it however we were out on that day and didnt want to come back just to leave the keys for the repair man to get in. The next day or so i left the keys in the lockbox but no one came until the 3rd day when they told me that a repairman came but couldnt get in because i left the wrong key in the lockbox. Turns out i left the pool key which no one told me that there is a pool key or a sperate pool key. My bad i guess but after that i still kept the door keys in the lockbox everytime and never was the repair man came until we checked out so i dont know if that air conditioner has been fixed? The other thing I wish could have been done by the owner is to upgrade the TVs to a smart TV because the tvs were outdated and you van barely watch anything on the cable channels. It is a cheap ugrade that makes a lot of difference to the your guests experience. Other than that i think we enjoyed our stay overall and would probably consider going back

This verbo truly felt like home away from home right across the street from the ocean right in the middle of everything it was awesome there's an awesome book if you ever do stay make sure you along with the rest of us do your Journal writing to guide the next group of people on where to eat where to be and how to get there it truly is amazing I definitely plan on coming back and when we do I am definitely hoping this verbo will be open definitely a five-star event!!

The condo came with all amenities as expected. The manager was responsive for a maintenance request. We had plenty of space for our group of 3 people. There are pleasant views from the patio of surrounding condos, pools, and a small view of the ocean.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The two most important things I look for are cleanliness and comfortable beds. This place had both. It isn’t anything fancy, maybe a touch outdated, but if you don’t mind that, you should be happy. The kitchen has pretty much all you need. The location is decent, right by the ocean and in a quiet part of Kihei, but for swimming and playing there are much better beaches elsewhere. Big beach was one of our favorites and just 10 min south. The property management was very responsive. Fridge and freezer weren’t cooling sufficiently when we first got here, but I called and they were promptly over and fixed it while we were out on an excursion. Thanks for letting us stay!

Hadn’t been to Kihei. Perfect spot for a relaxing, homey, beach vacation, steps from the beach and there is a pool as well. Walking distance (or short drive) to the best farmers market (you need to meet Wayne) Sugar Beach Bakery, and so much more. Well appointed kitchen if you like to eat in some. Super comfy if that’s your style. We would go back.

We were on a 4 day whirlwind trip to Maui. It was rainy Day 1. We arrived and drove up to Lahaina prior to our whale watch tour. dinner at Maui Brewery. Day 2 Road to Hana. Day 3 sunrise at Haleakala and then up to West side. Day 4 Snorkeling tour then down to south to La Perouse Bay. Bed was comfortable. We didn’t cook anything but kitchen had everything needed for a quick meal. Great sunset on day 3- actually “ home” for it- lol.

Fara's place was just as described. She was prompt in replying to any questions. She had everything there we needed, including a few things in the kitchen like cooking oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, sugar and coffee and other condiments in the fridge.
The bed was very comfortable. And the decor was so really nice.

While not directly on the beach, it is just an easy and quick walk of couple minutes away. Great for sunrises and sunsets. Can get to many attractions all over island in about 30 min.

The condo was in a great location going into Kihei. Never did get to use the pool, but the ocean is a quick walk to a nice beach with nightly sunsets. The location made it easy to get into and out of Kihei to go to all the local spots. There were a couple times that I needed Fara's assistance and she was always quick to respond and even come over to solve the problems. I have nothing but good things to say about the condo and would not double stay there again when visiting Maui.

The condo was lovely and provided everything we needed to feel like it was a "home away from home". We enjoyed walking on a beach every morning, having coffee on a beautiful lanai, making dinner on a grill. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Unit would benefit from a smart TV. Had a TV in the living room but only had a few local channels... Which is hard in our case because there wasn't much nightlife and having something to watch on TV in the evening is our way to end the night, it's an easy inexpensive upgrade that should be done.
Hall bathroom ( toilet ) broken I'm sure it will be addressed
Had to buy your own cleaning supplies which I guess is okay 🤷🏻♀️

Working with Kathy to ensure everything was taken care of prior to arrival, and she also helped with the rental car reservation. The property was perfect sized for my small family. Tucked in a cute town RIGHT where we wanted to be. Able to walk right across the street to a beach with minimal waves which was perfect for our 4 year old. If we return to Maui, we would consider this as a return spot to stay! Right next door (could see from the kitchen) the BEST sushi and oyster spot on the island, Isana.

Perfectly located to restaurants (one next door, the rest within a very short drive), and right across from a quiet beach. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Maui.
