Super convenient location: across street Times Market, restaurants, food trucks, ocean, highway access ... Master bedroom comfy. Pull-out couch for sleeping a bit lumpy but works. Tasteful decor. Great pool and ocean view from balcony. Has washer/dryer a real must for travelers swimming. All appliances, kitchen tools needed. Love that you can park ground level without having to park in a many storied parking structure. Only drawback of unit - all plates are plastic and state NOT Microwaveable. You will cook/reheat lots in a vacation condo.

The condo's new renovations/upgrades are beautiful. Both bathrooms were beautifully done and had great water pressure and temperature and lighting. The gift bag from Vacasa was very useful and appreciated (reusable shopping/beach bag with lots of great snacks).
The location was great for us. Close to both Napili (which we know well) and the Kaanapali resort area restaurants. But the food trucks out front were the best food options. I'm not a food truck guy, but they were the best food we had during our stay. And there are about 9 of them so plenty of types of food. I highly recommend.
The lanai had ocean views and we did see whales in the distance. No sunsets at this time of year as you can't see south. It was also a bit windy up there almost every day. Not sure if it's always like that but we were there 8 nights and we couldn't stay out there too long. Assuming we had bad luck if I were to make a suggestion I would get a smaller table to be able to fit and maybe have lounge chairs.
The only disappointment is the living room is still a bit outdated. The couch is very old and the TV is the size of my PC monitor and unviewable from the couch. You don't go to Maui to watch TV. However, after an active day it's nice to unwind and cuddle up. Also, there's the rainy days. We used the master bedroom TV. Also note, there's no streaming option (just basic cable).
Also there's a floor above and you hear the screech of chairs and footsteps unless you're lucky (typical of condos).

The beach directly in front of the complex is small but we did swim in the ocean a couple of times. The pool is small but nice for cooling off with a drink from the bar. We would definitely stay here again.

The unit was nice. We had previously stayed at larger units/resorts but needed to bring our costs down for this trip and found very good value here. A clean unit, well laid out, resort had enough amenities. Because we booked through My Perfect Stays (via Expedia) we didn't get access to all of the resort services, but I was very impressed with the level of service offered by MPS. Every time I emailed due to a question or issue the response was very quick and everything was handled to our satisfaction.

We booked 2 separate units for our family trip and had an absolutely wonderful time here!The unit is very well equipped with everything you need and MORE (stocked kitchen, beach chairs, beach wagon, cooler, umbrellas, beach/pool toys, they even provided a pack-and-play and highchair)!The unit is on a beautiful property with two pools- one ocean front 'adult pool' and another kid friendly in the garden area, which we actually preferred. The location is great! Walking distance to a grocery store, farmer's market, ABC and some late night spots. You are right on the beach and it's a quick 3-5 minutes to get to the boardwalk (Duke's is a 10 minute or less walk). You are about a 8 minute drive to Whaler's Village.The room itself was clean upon arrival. Beds were comfortable. The winning aspect of the room was for sure the view it provided! The Team managing the property were very responsive to any inquiry leading up to the trip and during our stay. They also provided us with easy check in and check out instructions which made the stay extra smooth. Quite possibly the friendliest and easiest property management I've encountered. Would highly recommend and hopefully we can visit again!

The unit is very much as advertised.
Spacious unit, well maintained and clean upon arrival. It was equipped with more than expected (all the kitchen necessities, beach/pool toys, beach chairs, cooler, umbrellas, etc!!).
The grounds were very beautiful and well kept. The complex has 2 pools, one ocean front and one in the garden which is very kid friendly. Visually very pretty to walk around.
The location was also perfect for us. There's a grocery store right across the street, ABC 2 minutes away, some late night eat spots all walking distance. You're also a 3-5 minute walk to the boardwalk which was lovely to walk along and check out all the other hotels and beachside restaurants (Duke's is 600 m away).
No complaints here! Was a great stay. :)

Very clean, comfortable and updated rental in a great location on Maui. Beautiful new pool. Walkable and/or quick drive to grocery, restaurants and the Ka'anapali beach walkways. Kitchen well stocked for cooking and meals in, AC worked great, amazing views. We joked that the elevator was the quickest we've experienced anywhere, every time. So don't worry about being on the 7th floor... easy to access and better views!

Absolutely gorgeous views of the garden and pool. 2 bathrooms were great, and loved that there were washclothes for makeup. I would definitely come back. There was just one problem, but not a deal breaker, ther freezer was hard to get into. The icemaker was good to have though. Beautiful property and pools and beaches. The food trucks by the resort was awesome. There is a grocery store right across the street for your convenience.

The only negative thing I have to say is that they do not allow check in's before 4:00pm regardless if the unit is ready. This poses an issue, because you have no where to store your bags upon arrival. The front desk will not hold them for you either because it is a private unit. I called and tried everything to ask them to allow us to put bags in unit, the answer was no. So we spent 4 hours pushing our bags all over in the heat and no way to store them. I think it would be good to have some sort of option worked out with the front desk for this. Other than that, it was a fabulous stay

We had a great time at Kaanapali Shores. The property itself is great between the pools and grounds. The ocean accessibility and snorkeling right off the beach is great.
Tons of great food options within walking distance including the food truck court.
We also really enjoyed walking up the Kaanapali boardwalk to visit some of the other great beaches and parks along the coast.

Great place for kids. They can just walk out and explore. Pool is short distance but far enough to not hear everything. Great little stream and flowers that surround the pool. Not as crowded as neighboring resorts which we liked - it was spacious.. Everything works great inside. We did have a little leak from the wash unit from upstairs and facilities responded right away. We had no problems washing clothes. Would definitely stay again! Mahalo

I just think that even when a place is old it should be well taken care of and without broken cabinets and dirty drop ceiling tiles in the bathroom. We appreciated having chairs and a cooler. It was also helpful to have some items like salt and pepper. The property is lovely, but unfortunately there was construction going on right near our room. Thankfully that was only Monday- Thursday. We had a wonderful time, but would not rent this particular unit again.

The ground level, and yard was perfect for our 4 year-old. Just steps from both pools and the beach. Not a good Beach for Kiddos, but there are several kid friendly beaches near by. We had a few issues that were addressed very quickly, the communication with property managers was outstanding. Bathroom could use a little cleaning, the drop ceiling has Bugs in the panels and the shower has a little mold in it. But other then that, the place was perfect for us.

Property was nice and in a great location. Walking distance to shopping and a few restaurants. Easy to get in and out of by car and visit other places. Beach was nice and not over crowded. Pool was great for kids and amenities were just what we needed. You could rent just about any beach gear needed, and the condo came with chairs, one puddle jumper (perfect for my daughter), snorkels and ice chest. Due to construction, noise was a bit much, but couldn’t be helped. Overall I would go back, would just like the room to be cleaner upon arrival (we cleaned when we got there). I would recommend getting a new mattress for the condo, the one in the master was not for me, but my husband slept fine.

This unit has an updated kitchen/living room however the bedroom and bathroom really could be updated. The entire unit needs painted and 10 days is to long to go without housekeeping. For the rate that should be included. There is also a separate fee for part, the gym, etc. seems compared to other properties this is expensive for what you get.

The amenities in the condo were above and beyond, right down to the sharp cooking knives, really nice pots and pans and Ninja blender. We would definitely return for another vacation. Just want to say this was our very first trip to Hawaii and on top of the experience our stay at Kaanapali Shores was amazing. Exactly as advertised, the view from both the balcony and the master bedroom literally breathtaking. On our last day our beach was visited by seals which were viewed right outside the window, so cool! The cleanliness of the condo was good but, the pull out bed from the couch can use a little vacuuming, and the top bedroom bed skirt as well can use some cleaning, otherwise everything else seemed great!? Stayed here with my Twin for a little sunshine break. Kaanapali is open for business, and could use our respectful support in their restaurants, in their shops, and on their tours. We donated food and supplies during our stay and tried to lift locals' spirits by just smiling and bringing good energy to them. We did not pry or take pictures and instead just offered our full aloha* to them, and would recommend that to any future visitors. Enjoy your time but do not trespass and let them heal.
Pool time was just what we needed and the evening music on Wednesday & Friday night was amazing. Condo had everything we needed, including beach chairs that recline (bonus!) and the couch was comfy after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. We'd stay again, can we come tomorrow? :)

The evening we arrived there was a problem with water leaking so there were 3 maintenance people in and out of the unit while we were in our pajamas trying to get some rest after a long travel day. The coffee was nice but no coffee filters. We also thought there was in suite laundry as we were told about the 30 gallon water tank so to consider this while showering and doing laundry. All in all we still enjoyed our visit and love Kaanapali Shores!

This was a vacation for us, aimed at relaxation, rest and a little exploring, all in a gorgeous place with friendly people. It delivered and then some! The grounds and location right on the Kaanapali beach were beautiful, so so green, perfectly kept gardens and trees, amazing pools and jacuzzis, good food, always friendly greetings. The amenities in the condo were above and beyond, right down to the sharp cooking knives, really nice pots and pans and Ninja blender. We would definitely return for another vacation. We feel relaxed, spoiled (in the best way) and full of appreciation. Mahalo and Aloha!

The picture of the view does not give it justice. The view from the lanai was beautiful, full ocean view.
The room was clean and super nice. There were beach chairs, kids sand toys and a couple ice chest in the room. We didn’t see an umbrella though, so you may want to buy one or rent one.
The room came with everything, even starter stuff as coffee filter, laundry detergent and etc. the coffee pot is not a pod one in case you want to buy some coffee for the room. We were able to cook in the kitchen most nights because the room had everything you needed, probably the most stalked kitchen most units have.
This is our 5th time at this hotel and will definitely rent this room again. If you are looking for a beautiful room, stalked supplies and an incredible view look no further.

The overall stay was great, however, the TV wasn't. Called the property manager and they were suppose to send someone to help but that person never showed up. No TV the whole stay but we really didn't mind since we had our fire stick.

We stay at Kaanapali Shores each time we visit Maui, this was the first time staying in unit 544. We really enjoyed it. Unit was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, we enjoyed the two big screen TV's (lining room and bedroom) and also appreciated having the washer/dryer in the unit. The view from the patio was great, you can see the ocean and we loved the additional patio chairs on the deck and spending time out there. We most definitely will book this unit again in the future!

Liked to location. Place could use little update. Not happy we were told things had opened back up when they had not. With the sad circumstances we ask for refund but was denied only could reschedule. Reschedule doesn't work for everyone. I could see not given refund if we were the one to cancel but when other places were offering refunds, it should of been option. We still made the best of everything and drove to many parts of the island. Hopefully we will get to return one day.

There were 5 of us in our stay and we had a great time. Condo is perfect with all the towels and linen needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with toaster, coffeemaker, pans, utensils and anything else we needed. Resort has a great pool and wonderful beach access right on property. We watched many sunsets from that beach. Restaurant on site serves great food, great views and has a bar with many wonderful tropical mixed drinks, wine and beer. Stores downstairs in resorts provide souvenirs for sale, clothing, personal items that you may need tp purchase which makes it really convenient. Our host Bill was very accommodating and receptive to anything we needed. Easy to reach via cell phone. He is a great guy and shares his knowledge of the island. Check in process was a breeze and he walked us through the house in case we had any questions. We are definitely coming back next time we go to Maui. This is a one of a kind property. We completely relaxed and enjoyed our stay. Condo is beautiful and recently remodeled. Very nice and clean. Thanks Bill your place is the best and you were a great host! Mahalo nui loa!

Lahaina fire week. No power for 3 plus days. No candles, flashlights etc. couldn’t charge phones due to power being out. Bathroom shower faucet needs repair. Just an off week

The property is in a great location with a lovely beach and even lovelier sunsets. Our unit was clean and we loved the decor. It was perfect for 4 adults and the beach supplies provided met all our needs. The check-in process was easy and the owners were very friendly and responsive to questions. Our location was convenient to markets and restaurants. We would definitely book here again.

Loved the place but on our day that we woke up from the first night, we had no hot water as the water heater broke. A plumber came out and shut off the main for the hot water and we had no hot water and what made matters worse, the shower knob is broken and you can’t adjust the temp and it is stuck on hot so no water comes out. Yup, 4 days with no shower and no hot water. Couldn’t do laundry because the wash wouldn’t start with no water coming in. We’re about to check out and still no hot water and haven’t heard anything so the communication was really bad.
Now the location is great, 1 block from the beach and shops, it’s amazing! Place was somewhat clean, could have used some attention.

Positives: Condo nice ocean view from living room and bedroom & good location; 1 pool with umbrellas; 1 pool with maybe 1 umbrella; restaurant on property was good and so were the prices and had entertainment during the week.
Negatives: Condo showing it’s age, needs painting and a deep clean; vent under microwave was nasty; shower drain was plugged so water was ankle deep and ran up the curtain. I’m sure the shower curtain is not exchanged out each time a guest leaves. Overall, place was not that clean, floors, corners gross and I paid for cleaning. Looks like the combo code to get in is the same for each guest. So, I didn’t feel safe nor was there a deadbolt as the amenities say there is. The remodel was done in 2017 and is therefore NOT newly remodeled.
Also, the owner did NOT disclose that a ongoing exterior lanai railing repair was in progress during working hours and expected to continue through Nov 2023. This spoiled our time at the pool and in our room. I would NOT have rented this condo if this information had been disclosed to us.
Very disappointing and this noise spoiled 5 days of our seven (7) day vacation.

We had a great time at Kaanapali Shores. The property itself is great between the pools and grounds. The ocean accessibility and snorkeling right off the beach is great.
Tons of great food options within walking distance including the food truck court.
We also really enjoyed walking up the Kaanapali boardwalk to visit some of the other great beaches and parks along the coast.

We love this condo. It was perfect for our family of 6. They had the cutest welcome package with coffee and local treats, which was an awesome added touch. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, dish soap etc. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a must do we loved that. The view though is the one thing I can’t Say enough about - it was incredible. Even the kids were blown away!

Our stay was significantly different than anyone else that has reviewed this property. We had 2 nights and 1 full day on property before we were displaced due to the west Maui wildfires. The owners were incredibly communicative before and during our time in Maui. When we checked in, we found that the condo was extremely clean with new and very comfortable furniture, beds/mattresses and outdoor patio furniture. New carpet in bedrooms and new linens/towels. The kitchen appliances were all excellent and we had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare and cook meals. The condo itself was very comfortable. The resort was lovely-beautiful pools, grounds and beach. This unit was close to everything at the resort but there was also some privacy which was nice. Everyone at the resort was pleasant and helpful. Prior reviews stated loud construction. There was construction while we were there but it did not affect us and the lanai was open and available (also brand new- with new furniture). On the day of the tragic wildfire we were off resort hiking and could not get back into the area. The owners were extremely communicative, responsive, helpful and kind. We would absolutely stay at this property again if we had the chance. We cannot say enough about the owners communication and helpfulness before our check in and absolutely during the remainder of the week when we were displaced before we were evacuated off the island.

Overall a good stay (right before the fires) however the furnishings are very dated. The kitchen was lacking some needed utensils (ex. pizza cutter, kitchen scissors, etc.). The living room furniture needs an overhaul! The laundry closet door was very difficult to open/close and came off the tracks often. The location was excellent and it was so nice to sit with a cup of coffee and look out over the beautiful blue ocean. It would be nice to be able to lock the patio door when entering/leaving, instead of having to walk around the building.

So due to unforeseen circumstances and the fact that we was there when the wildfires were going on we still enjoyed are stay at this resort. Robert was a excellent host. He communicated with us the whole time before our arrival and after the fact that we had no power no phone service when the fires were going on. He wanted to make sure my family was safe and that everything was ok. Even tho this was not the vacation we had planned we still enjoyed the resort, and the area was beautiful! This was are first time in Hawaii and we will be back. My husband said he would like to stay in the same room and resort that we just stayed in. We did decide to leave early and a Robert was generous enough to give us back some of the money we had given him for our stay. We would love to stay here again when we come back. Next time will be better but the resort itself was excellent. ! The people there was very nice and friendly, the staff was super nice, the area beautiful and Robert an excellent host. Would highly recommend this resort.

Arthur went above and beyond as a host! This unit is well stocked with essentials and Arthur gave us awesome tourist info and recommendations up front. The unit is just as described in the listing. True advantages this unit are being close to the beach and pool, ground level living and having 2 beds in the living room (teen/tweens having their own bed makes the vacay better for all). I highly recommend this unit and host. Thanks for doing all you could to accommodate a great stay!

I have seen other condos at this resort and mine was nothing compared to the ones I had seen. Our unit was clean and was completely updated. The master bedroom had a comfortable bed that elevated. There were two large screen T.V.s and a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs. The property was absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful scenery with two pools, two hot tubs and right on the beach. The restaurant was delicious and had entertainment on certain nights. This was a perfect home away from home for me and my 3 kids. I would absolutely stay here again during my next trip to Maui.

The property was lovely, but 2 different sets of friends stayed at these condos during the exact same time with the exact same rooms for far less than we paid. We even booked the same day back in February, so I’m not sure why our condo cost so much more. Very disappointing to start your already expensive trip feeling like you’ve been hosed. :(
