This property was exactly as advertised. Beautiful, peaceful location overlooking the cove. We walked down from our unit to the cove and enjoyed great snorkeling with many sea turtles.The host (Cyndy) and on island manager (Victor) were very responsive and had great dining recommendations. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back again.

This was our fifth visit to the cove in the past 30 years, and it did not disappoint. The view from the unit is outstanding. You can see the sea turtles swimming under the water, from the balcony. The ocean breeze, through the unit and the sound of the water, made for a peaceful stay. The unit is well stocked for cooking and was very clean. The only bummer is there was no additional blanket for the pullout couch. Only sheets. Not a huge deal, in August though. The king bed and pillows were super comfy! The front desk ladies are so very nice and helpful. We will def stay in this unit again. The groundskeeper, Ray does a fantastic job. The property is absolutely beautiful.

I have been coming to the Cove since 1987 and have stayed in a lot of the units but I must say 105 is really nice. Bright and kitchen has more stuff than my house! The kitchen is thin and tight and the master bath is beyond tiny but the location to the water is perfect and views are off the hook. I can see why everyone wants 105I will be back as I always do, best place to stay on the island hands down.

It was wonderful! Just wonderful! The snorkeling was second to none and getting to walk off our balcony right onto the beach was so much fun. The unit was well stocked and had enough fans to keep us cool at night. The grounds are meticulous. It was like walking through a fairy garden each day. Location, location, location! The condo complex is incredible. The views from the condo are fabulous. The grounds are kept immaculate. The condo is dated, but there is no reason to stay inside. The lanai, pool and cove keep you outside. Everyone is extremely friendly. Condo perks are air conditioning in bedroom, new comfortable mattress, new snorkeling equipment,new beach chairs and umbrella. Definitely recommend!!!

Thank you Cyndy and Victor for a wonderful vacation! Honokeana Cove is magical and was perfect for our family. We went snorkeling multiple times a day and always saw hundreds of beautiful tropical fish and multiple sea turtles. The unit was amazing with three beautiful bedrooms, plenty of beach towels, snorkeling gear, and all we needed for a perfect vacation. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Karrie was extremely accommodating with our mid-week move to our favorite unit (214) especially since it was our 50th anniversary. Unit is well-equipped and decorated Hawaiian style furnishings and art. Bring us back again!

My sister and I loved our time and the snorkeling was the best I’ve ever seen! We saw upwards of 15 turtles and so many other amazing fish. The beds were super comfy and it’s centrally located to lots of other fun activities. Would absolutely stay again.

Absolutely loved our stay at this gem of a place. Perfect space for our family of 5. The condo itself is beautifully styled, comfortable beds, well stocked with everything we needed. Condo complex is well maintained and beautiful, quiet, and ideal for sitting and watching the sunset. Honokeana Cove is a magical and serene spot with some really awesome snorkeling and paddle boarding. Communication with both Cyndy, the owner, and Victor, the property manager, was top notch. We hope to book again in the future!

Great low key stay with beautiful view. The space worked well for our family with the teens in the bedroom with the two twin beds and us in the loft. Cove access is on the property and requires navigating over smooth stones. We saw many turtles during our stay.

Access to snorkeling was so easy and we snorkeled with the resident turtles every day and admired them sleeping on the beach every night. Loved proximity to Napili Beach. Enjoyed the laid-back vibe here, it is a small community and everyone was very friendly. Resident manager does a great job maintaining everything and keeping the grounds beautiful. Would definitely stay in this unit again!

What a lovely spot on a quiet cove with excellent snorkeling just steps away. We all loved the vibe of this small complex.
The only thing I would say is that if you are counting on the “futon” for a 7th person to sleep on, it is not really adequate for anyone other than a small child. We were planning to use it for an adult and had to scramble our sleeping plans at the beginning. The on-site manager was able to get us an air mattress to use, which I appreciated.
We would definitely stay here again.

At the last minute, Napili Point cancelled our stay due to a plumbing leak. I had to scramble to find a new place. Boy, was I lucky to find Honokeana Cove! A great site located on the cove with easy access to beautiful fish and lots of turtles. Also had a large grass area to play or relax in the sun and a nice pool. Our condo unit was very nice, clean and looked right over the bay with turtles resting right below us in the afternoon. Definitely would love to return here again!

If you want a laid back, beautiful location and especially if you love to snorkel, this complex is hard to beat. The unit is great, we’ve stayed multiple times. The cove is easily accessible for snorkeling or SUP, cool off in the pool, BBQs with an amazing view and awesome sunsets. Great communication from Victor, the local person who manages the unit for the owner.

We had 4 units, and #114 was definitely the nicest one, the owners sent us a postcard before we arrived, and also left us a $50 gift certificate to the local store, little things that they don’t have to do, but their pride in ownership really shows. They had beach chairs, snorkel equipment etc... again the little things that all add up to a great trip. The condo itself was in great shape. A wonderful place to enjoy the Cove!!! Stayed in unit #111 for 6 nights in late June. Condo was clean and kitchen looked like it was brand new. Air conditioners were needed, cause the sun shines brightly in the afternoon hours. Only complaint in this unit is the pull out couch, you basically Can Not sit on it, this needs to be addressed by owner immediately, someone at the Cove go sit on it and you will see. Everything else was top notch, including Cari in front office and Ray the property manager. Grounds were immaculate. Great Stay!

Stayed in room #108 for 8 nights. Great location. Cari in front office was totally awesome, Ray the property manager did a great job. Grounds were very clean and immaculate. Loved the air conditioner in the bedroom, all units should have at least one portable air conditioner in one of the rooms in case of hot weather. Maybe owner could provide a Tommy Bahama Umbrella. Only other thing is the carpet in the unit is a little “tired” owner should replace all carpet with some type of hard surface. Otherwise everything was Great. Love the Cove!

Stayed in room #106, view and location awesome. Main bathroom shower was great, water pressure in shower great. Cabinet drawer under sink needs to be fixed. Master bed fine, could have better pillows, plus maybe add a small TV. Only complaints, kitchen could use some Tupperware and plastic tumblers, bowls and cooking utensils, (we actually bought some plastic tumblers and left them in unit) not as well equipped as other units. We had a total of 4 units all but #106 had a couple Tommy Bahama chairs, foam noodles etc... plus lanai could use updated chairs and more hooks to hang towels. Cari in front office was great and so was property manager Ray. Every unit should have at least 2 Tommy Bahama Beach Chairs, and some foam noodles to float on all pretty inexpensive. Grounds were immaculate...Great Stay!

Extremely well equipped unit. Comfortable bed, a bit warm and humid during day as trade winds weren’t very strong. A/c in the bedroom noisy but a real plus. Fantastic view of the property an unobstructed view of that wonder cove. Truly a wonder and the highlight. Great snorkeling each day, tons of turtles and tropical fish, along with some surprises ( no sharks😞). Property impeccably maintained- close to so many places. Didn’t want to review as the secret might get out. Price was affordable, especially for what you got. We will return next time in Maui.

This cute cove has tons of turtles and a variety of fish, and remains pretty calm for snorkeling. The buildings are well cared for and the property is groomed early each day. You definitely feel safe in this locked community and the staff is very helpful. Our condo 111 was very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with necessary tools. The bed is memory foam and was very comfortable, and we appreciated having the air conditioner in the bedroom. Beach chairs, water toys, and beach towels were provided. The trade winds blew through nicely and we loved sitting on the lanai to enjoy the view. The weekly pupu party was fun and a great opportunity to get to know some of the other guests. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a perfect week with perfect weather in a perfect location. Of course we loved to look out at the view and to watch the turtles. We ate all over the island and visited all the shopping sites, tried seven different restaurant’s mai tais , proclaiming the Plantation had the best one. Joeys Kitchen in Napilli was our favorite dinner and The Gazebo for breakfast.Our favorite beach was the state park below the Ritz Carlton, it had a restaurant, bathrooms and rentals. Looking forward to a return visit.

This is our second time staying at Honokeana and I can't rave about it enough. It's the best snorkeling on the island and we just love the low key, easy feel of the property. When we go to an island, we want to feel a bit removed from it all, but we also have small children. So, this is THE PERFECT option for feeling quiet and secluded, away from the giant resorts, with a perfect pool, kitchen and play areas for the kids. This condo in particular was so nicely redone and furnished. Please include in the rental listing that you have beach chairs and an umbrella for your guests to use (would've saved us from renting prior to arrival). Thank you!

I loved our first stay at Honokeana condos. Loved the grounds and the perfect cove to snorkel. The unit was clean, comfortable and nice. However, I would like to offer a couple suggestions the owner could accomplish for not so much money. The TV's are way too small. Big ones are so cheap now, so it doesn't make sense not to upgrade. Also, investing in some better kitchen utensils and matching dishes and silverware would go a long way in making it feel a little nicer.
