Well maintained condo complex. Smaller complex and quiet. Seems to attract an older crowd. Just a short walk to Napili beach and more beaches beyond. On a rocky cove that was a little difficult to get in and out of the water. Pleasant place to stay in Maui. Easy parking and very pleasant staff, and clean. Basic kitchen supplies. Picturesque lawn and pool overlooking the ocean. Unit could use a little plumbing and electrical maintenance. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this complex but I may consider a different unit next time.

The advertising for this unit was very deceptive. The alleged air conditioning did not work at all. Running at max setting the bedroom was 81 on the ground floor. And the noise of the machine was deafening. The upper floor bedroom had no air-conditioning at all and was over 90. While we paid for two weeks, we walked out after one night of no sleep.Management refused to refund all of the money we paid or even one set of it!Disgusting experience!

Wonderful condo on a private cove with some of the best snorkeling in the Lahaina area. Everything was clean, comfortable and nice. The upper loft gets a little warm at night with the small air conditioner in the two twin-bed room below. Sleep on top of the sheets and it’s fine. Other than that we loved our visit there and hope to return.

This is the third time we've been here and I always marvel at how great the cove is and how well positioned this property is on the cove. It's an intimate setting, not a huge development and Ray and the team do an amazing job keeping in tip-top shape. Everything is cared for every day. You don't find properties this well managed very often. Great location. The Individual units are all different and the ONE thing I would recommend is that units in the rental pool all have a similar level of appointments (Toasters, knives etc., ) in the unit so that you can count on it.

If you want to see turtles, in the water and out, this is the place.This unit is in a great location for viewing the cove and shore from the deck. Everything in unit was clean and functional. Included a pair of fins (large) and snorkel mask. Wish they provided beach chairs or back rests but did not.Parking was always available and staff helpful. Would rent again gladly.Recommend Joey's Kitchen at the shopping center for a good meal.

We stayed 12 nights in June (2025), and we had the most amazing vacation. The condo is perfectly outfitted for a long-term stay. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils you might need, including a blender and a toaster. Additionally, there are gas grills on the property that you can use. The laundry facilities allowed us to pack light and wash our clothes when needed. The air conditioner in the bedroom is great and keeps the sleeping area cool, but we just kept the windows open during the day, and the condo stayed cool from the breezes blowing through. Additionally, since the owner provides all the snorkeling and beach equipment for two people, it's easy to step out the door and spend some time snorkeling or visiting the nearby beach (which is just 100 feet away). There really is no need to go out on a boat to access snorkel spots, although we did take a SeaMaui cruise one day, and it was awesome; we would recommend this cruise. But we decided that the best snorkeling is in the condo’s own cove (Honokeana Cove). We saw at least two dozen sea turtles, tons of different types of fish, an octopus, and we saw two eels (SO COOL)!The sunsets are magical, and the grounds and pool are perfectly maintained, making this property the perfect hidden gem for a stay in Maui. At sunset, they light the gas tiki torches, and it is so cool. We have already reserved return dates for next summer!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Honokeana Cove! The condo had everything we needed for the stay and had plenty of room for our family of six. We were impressed with the beach equipment, including plenty of chairs, snorkeling gear and awesome beach towels. The most amazing part of the stay was the chance to snorkel in the cove and view the turtles, coral and fish. The calm waters were perfect for the whole family, including our ten year old. We also enjoyed the easy access to the Kapalua Trail, Napili Beach and made a few stops at the Napili market just down the street for groceries.We also took advantage of the well maintained grills and pool, which also provided a great opportunity to meet other families on vacation.The property manager Victor stayed in contact ahead of our stay and throughout our trip to ensure we had what we needed and also provide great insight for the trip.As others have mentioned, there is currently no AC in the unit. There are ample windows and fans which helped keep it comfortable, but is something to be considered if anyone in your family were to have an issue with warmer temps. I think the week we visited had daytime temps toward the higher end of what could be expected and it wasn’t an issue for us.Overall this was a great stay for us and would be a great option for any family!

My stay was perfect. My unit was clean, well furnished and in a fabulous location. The management company helped me in securing four units for the same week, one unit had to be changed three times and they hung in there with me to accommodate the changes. This was my third time visiting the Cove. I have stayed in three different buildings and there is no bad view or location. I am always fascinated with the turtles and love to watch them come in for their afternoon nap. They are amazing and am so glad they are protected so we may enjoy them for years to come. It would be hard to find anything negative to say so I will not. The Cove is a little slice of heaven and I told my family if they ever lose me, look at The Cove and you may find me lounging by the pool or counting turtles from my deck.
