This condo had everything we needed to enjoy Napili Bay! Stunning views and easy to walk down to the beach. The pool was nice, but we mostly went to the beach. We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella to use. If you need extra beach supplies, you can easily rent at the rental place on site. Restaurant by the pool had long lines, but you can order "to go" around the back. Our 10 & 13 year old kids slept on the pull out couch and futon in the living room, adults slept in the bedroom. Bed was comfortable and nice bedding. Highly recommend!

Our favorite part of Evelyn’s place was being able to walk down to Nāpili Bay with ease, no matter the time of day. The place had everything we needed from breach chairs and an umbrella to extra towels, coffee filters and salt and pepper. The A/C worked great along with all the appliances. We will definitely be back for a stay in the future!

Nāpili Shores is a great location. We have stayed there six times. Long drive to the east and southern parts of the island however. Quieter area since Lahaina fires/closure. Unit was fine and as advertised but no pots or pans was inconvenient.

This was my family’s first trip to Maui. We had high expectations for this condo since the previous reviews were favorable and it seemed to have what we were looking for. Unfortunately, it was just an ok experience, not great. Check in & communication were better than the condo itself. It was clean, however the necessary beach equipment (chairs & umbrella) were very old which did not allow for an enjoyable experience and was embarrassing to carry around. The chairs had torn & weathered fabric, rusted hinges, broken zippers & straps. The umbrella worked, but was pretty small and old. I misunderstood the unit description and thought it had a washer and dryer in the unit. It is a communal laundry room. Since you are only given 4 beach towels, you have to spend your vacation time in the laundry room. This is not ideal so we used gross dirty beach towels all week. More towels & hooks to use would have been nice. The AC worked well, however the living room unit was noisy from time to time during the night. The condo is near the community trash bins. It is convenient, but you can hear the trash trucks beeping early. A bus stop is also close by. Again, it’s convenient, but you can hear the bus stop noises early in the morning. I’m a light sleeper, maybe this wouldn’t bother most people. The beds were comfortable & big enough. The kitchen had everything we needed. The shower water temperature was too low. It was more like taking a warm shower, but not hot.

We had a relaxing stay at this VRBO rental, thanks to its prime location and stunning views of the sunsets, which were truly unforgettable. The check-in process was smooth, and the Napili Shores resort beautifully captures the essence of old Hawaii. However, the unit itself could use some attention: the bathroom had stains on the walls and floor and needed a paint touch-up, and while the shower was clean, it appeared to be original. The closet was cluttered with items, the bed seemed smaller than a queen, and the beach chairs were very damaged. We ended up renting a larger umbrella from the resort store since the provided ones were small and only attached to the beach chairs and did not provide needed shade. Additionally, the WiFi was spotty, requiring frequent resets, and the cable TV went out a few times, necessitating calls to the cable company. Despite these minor inconveniences, the incredible location and view made our stay worthwhile.

Excellent base for your trip.
Best features:
AC - we can't sleep if it's too hot and it's nice to have a less humid retreat once or twice during the day.
There are two AC units in this condo and both work very well. You can actually make this place too cold.
Comfortable bed - The bed is quite comfortable and has a selection of 4 pillows. I usually travel with my pillow because I'm a terrible sleeper but I forgot it and still managed to get a decent sleep with theirs. Our son slept well on the pull out sofa with one of the four supplied pillows.
Other than that there are some bonuses to this unit and location:
Napili bay is right down the path and is a fantastic beach with great snorkeling or surfing/boogie boarding depending on conditions.
Kapalua bay is about a 7-8 minute walk down the beach and through Napili Kai resort. Kapalua is a fantastic snorkeling bay even if Napili is a bit wavy. We even went diving here when the surf on most of the west side was too wavy for entry.
Honolua bay - one of the best snorkeling bay's on Maui is a short drive North. There's only a handful of properties closer.
The Gazebo breakfast restaurant on site is one of the best breakfasts you can get on Maui and it's right there! You can see the lineup from the balcony which will tell you when to get your butt moving.
Downside:
It's a bit of a drive to the airport area or Ma'alea harbor/Kihei. If most of your activities are booked there I might look for a closer property.

Condo was very clean and comfortable, kitchen had everything you could ever need, location was excellent, bed was very very comfortable, the only negatives were the noise level in bedroom is like being on the street, as the slat windows are as if your outside, bring a sound machine it worked wonders, closet was unusable due to a large rolled up carpet and vacuum, overall there was everything you could possibly need, grounds were beautifully kept, pools very clean, easy walk to beach, the Gazebo restaurant is excellent!!

We enjoyed our stay here. The unit looked just like the pictures. It's nicely remodeled and the location has a wonderful view of Napili Bay. The sound of waves crashing on the shore reef and the distinct song of myna birds make you feel connected to the charm of Maui. I prefer the two-story vacation condos of Napili Shores versus the fancy high-rise hotels of other resort areas.

The condo is shore front so the sound of breaking surf is constant and wonderful. The sunsets were fantastic every evening. We snorkeled every day and the west side has many excellent spots to see undersea life. The condo has all the utensils to make food. We had everything we needed. The bed was soft for our comfort but not a dealbreaker. We’d come back for sure.

We absolutely love the Napili area. This is our 2nd stay in this unit and our host Evelyn has recently renovated the unit. It's lovely and very comfortable. It is well stocked with everything you'll need for your stay. We will certainly be returning next year. The big plus is having 2 restaurants on property. The Gazebo does breakfast and lunch and Kitchen 5315 is open for lunch and dinner.

The studio apt is just as described. It has all the amenities you could ask for, and is obviously set up for ease. Although I had to cut my trip short, Theresa was wonderful every step of the way. I'm looking forward to staying in C121 on my next visit to Maui.

This is our second time staying at this property and it didn’t disappoint! We traveled with our young kids and the proximity of the condo to the beach path is unbeatable. Everything was clean and little touches like the closet being stocked with beach chairs, a few sand toys, a step stool, and basic necessities like dishwasher pods and basic cleaning supplies to get us by made the stay extra convenient and made it feel like home. Our kids loved being right by shuffleboard and the big grass areas to run on. There is a lot of foot traffic but it’s because you’re right on the path to the beach, which to us is ideal. Beautiful unit! Perfect vacation!

The good: Napili Shores complex is fantastic, and the location of this condo is in a great location very close to the laundry room and the larger pool with the spa. Parking was easy, and we were able to park right in front of the unit at all hours of the day. Having a lower-level unit was great for packing up and returning from the beach (not having to haul any beach equipment through the unit upon return). The property management group (MPS) was great; communication and responsiveness was top notch. AC worked fantastic. Complex is super quiet, didn't hear neighbors at all.
The bad: The unit itself is a little tired, in need of refresh/updates. Everything is functional though. The two lounges inside the unit were uncomfortable and had something hard coming through the top of the pads (the frame?). Bed was a little hard, and my husband had a hard time sleeping on it.
Overall a good stay. Would definitely stay in the same complex again

We had a wonderful stay at Napili Shores. The proximity to the beach is fabulous. Turtles! We love the area and have stayed in several condos in this complex over the years. It’s very quiet and relaxing. My husband and I had our 2 adult daughters with us here for part of the trip. The 4 of us were very comfortable. We enjoyed the Gazebo restaurant, snorkelling, watching turtles, sunsets over Molokai and the swimming pools/hot tub. The communication with Evelyn was excellent.

This was the perfect vacation at the perfect location. The condo sat right on the edge of the property facing the ocean and the bay. We decided we had the best spot in the complex. The water was absolutely beautiful. We were able to see Molokai across the water while watching families on the beach. The condo had everything we needed. Initially we had a reservation at condo in Lahaina and Elaine moved us to Napoli Shores. Although we were sad about the fire in Lahaina and mot being able to enjoy that area, Napili was great.
Elaine has equipped the condo with everything you could need.
The lani is perfect. The Napili Shores complex is beautiful with two pools and beautiful landscaping along with the two restaurants, you have everything you needed.The staff at the Gazebo and Kitchen 5315 are great. The Sea House restaurant is within walking distance also. Recommend driving down the beach a little ways and have lunch at the Burger Shake which is part of The Ritz. It sits on a beautiful beach. The Beach House is also just down the road and has a nice pool side bar and restaurant. One day we picked up fish and sides from The Fish Market and brought it back to the condo and ate on the lani. The condo community was in a great location within Napili. However, the specific location of the unit was tough because the bedroom window faced directly out to the parking lot and it had paper thin windows, so you heard every footstep and car activity. So noise level was an unwanted issue. Also, there was no filtered drinking water (like a britta) so we had to rely on plastic water bottles from the grocery store which is such a waste. We had to ask for additional towels for our family as what was provided was insufficient, but they were delivered the same day. Communication with the property manager was good, and basic supplies (soap, etc) were provided. Back porch was very close to the pool which was convenient and the unit was close to the laundry on site as well as the beach.

We had an amazing stay! The views are amazing and the area is so cute! We went to both the gazebo and kitchen 5315, which are inside the complex, both are great little spots to eat. I saw so many sea turtles on the beach and snorkeling. Would recommend this place for anyone coming to Maui!

We enjoyed our stay at Napili Shores. The unit was clean and the lanai had a nice ocean view. The owner was very responsive. However, the unit itself needs some TLC. The screen door barely works, the toaster burns everything and the kitchen was lacking some items that would be useful. We also ran out of toilet paper and the front office couldn’t help and it wasn’t delivered for 8+ hours. Not a big deal but I’d rather not have to go buy my own TP while on vacation. Also, absolutely no toiletries in the unit so bring anything you need. The unit did have beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, beach towels and a cooler which was nice.

THE BEST LOCATION. Garden view, but great access to beach and other resorts/restaurants. Could walk. Could have had one small child on sofa bed. Wish there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel in big pump to avoid waste since we didn't travel with any. Grounds and pool/hot tub are kept very well manicured and flowers/grounds were beautiful. Nothing beats the snorkeling from walking distance at multiple spots.

Napili Shores is perfect. We couldn’t have picked a better spot to spend time with our children and grandchildren. We each rented rooms, the access to the two swimming pools was perfect and access to Napili Beach, our favorite beach in Maui, was only steps away. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and included complementary beach chairs and umbrellas from “Bring Me a Kayak”.
By the way, they were very helpful and prompt with their deliveries and pickups. We come to Maui every year and we plan to make this our preferred destination.
