Unit 203 is a 2nd floor, Northwest facing unit that enjoys shade year round on the lanai that directly overlooks the cove with turtles, the heated pool, and a spectacular view of the island of Molokai in the distance as well as Humpback whales December thru April. The lanai also provides a patio table and comfortable chairs for eating or just relaxing.

The loft includes a Cal-King and large bathroom with walk-in shower. Main floor bedroom has 2 twin beds that can be bridged together to make a King bed, and a full bath with tub/shower. Both bathrooms are fitted with Kohler High Line toilets. Flat Screen High Definition TV’s are in both bedrooms and a smart Samsung TV in the living room. The living room is comfortably furnished with plenty of room on an L- shape sofa and matching chair. We also offer Free Secure wi-fi in the Unit as well as free calling to Hawaii, the Mainland US and Canada.

The kitchen has Granite counter tops, modern appliances, a microwave, oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, toaster, blender and a rice cooker.

In Honokeana Cove you can enjoy some of the best snorkeling on the island. There is an abundance of green sea turtles, (it’s not a matter if you will see them, it’s a matter of how many), and beautiful tropical fish. You can also enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. We can't wait to welcome you!

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection: All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.

Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits the rental amount. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances.

Add Hawaii tax (17.416%; 17.962% effective 1/1/2024) & one cleaning fee to all rates. Specify your total number of guests of all ages for an accurate rate quote.

The snorkeling right at the condo complex is very good with live cora, lots of fish and sea turtles. The cove is well protected from ocean conditions in the summer and shallow with easy access making it comfortable for all snorkelers. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The unit was exactly as described and everything was in fine working order.Grills were clean every time we used them and the turtles were, as always, dependable companions. The Microwave did go out on us on our next to last day. We were only using it to reheat coffee and leftovers so no big deal. I checked the breaker and it had not tripped, unplugged the cord and waited 10 seconds before plugging it back in, no go. I left it unplugged and reported it to the office manger.

The most recent stay was slightly less than perfect due to it being during a school holiday. We were disappointed in the conduct of several of the guest children. It was not as quiet or relaxing as other times. If you want peace and quiet, plan around school vacation times.

This is our second stay at Honokeana Cove. First time we stayed at a one bedroom a couple years ago, and this time we stayed in this unit for a two bedroom as there were three of us. The location is perfect and is it not a major complex like some of the other places so it felt more "quiet" which we liked and why we chose to return. It is walking distance to Sea House Restaurant (where we usually walk over to have dinner a couple of times), and love the view from our balcony. There are turtles that rest here in the evening on the rocks where you can see this from your balcony. Or, you can choose to snorkel in the cove and you will see many turtles in the water. Also, there is a grocery market walking distance as well. We visited Whaler's Village and also Lahina which is not very far from the condo. My 25 year old son loved the loft bedroom, and my Mom and I shared the second bedroom. Thank you again for sharing your home with us. Becky, Joshuah and Debra

I will point out that you will need a car if you stay here since its not really near anything you can walk to. Actually, its difficult to walk anywhere since there are no side walks. All-in-all it was a lovely place and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The only issue we had was the downstairs bed was hard and one side sloped down on the edge so a bit tough to sleep on. Need a new mattress and mattress topper as I believe beds are one of the most important things when staying somewhere. Other than that the unit was excellent. Gorgeous grounds with families throwing the football on the lawn, BBQing poolside, snorkeling with the turtles- so fun. Can’t wait to return.

The grounds are obviously lovingly cared for, with a lot of attention to detail while encouraging the communal participation in keeping things nice for everyone (impressive!). Unit 203 was a fluke - it was the only one available when we were trying to book, and how glad we are that we got it! Quiet, second floor and North facing also meant no afternoon sun, so we could sit on the lanai all day and enjoy views of the cove, the pool, Molakai and the many turtles and whales. We slept in the loft with it's king bed (both of us are tall) so that we could enjoy the sounds of the waves. I don't think sleeping the main bedroom in the back would be as nice, but we were just two of us, so used that room as a place to keep our clothes, etc. Well-stocked kitchen and comfy seating. Only thing we would change is all the tv-screens (and their subsequent blinky blue lights, but easy to unplug).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Once again, we were not disappointed with our stay at Honokeana Cove! This was our third time staying at this location. The grounds were immaculate, the facilities were well-maintained, and the unit was well equipped. We love the location of this property as it is within walking distance of some of our favorite beaches (Napili for the beach/waves and Kapalua for snorkeling) in West Maui and restaurants (Merriman's and Sansai). Whenever we had a question for management they responded in a timely manner and provided excellent customer service. The views from the lanai are fantastic were we watched whales, surfers, and turtles in the cove. On sunny days we often just stayed at Honokeana and snorkeled in the cove where we saw a wide variety of fish, countless turles, and spotted an eel! Our only suggestion for the unit was that it may be time to purchase a new mattress for the king bed as it was very worn and uncomfortable. Other than that we felt the unit had very comfortable couches and a lovely shared living space. We are already thinking about our next visit!

However, the beds are uncomfortable. The king bed upstairs is too soft, it was not a good sleep and the twin beds have plastic mattress covers without a mattress pad that make it hot and sweaty, they need a mattress pad between the cover and the sheets.

The twin beds were downstairs, which was perfect since my cousin and I did not want to climb the stairs. There was plenty of snoring equipment and we left two floaters for future use. There was also a small cooler which came in handy for our road teips.The only negative was that there were large boxes in the closet which severely limited our ability to hang clothes.

Every day from our balcony we could sit and watch the turtles swim up to the shoreline and rest on the rocks. At night we can hear the water lap up against the rocks to put us to sleep. This unit and gtop notch we look forward to staying there again next year. We highly recommend Honokeana Cove and this unit.... We absolutely enjoyed every bit of our stay. A Big thank you to Su and her staff who instantly made us feel like family.
