Words can’t even describe how amazing this stay was! For starters we absolutely loved our room! Having A/C in the bedroom made the nights nice and chilly. And the fact that you can walk out and go straight to the cove to snorkel was just unbelievable! We loved every second of our stay at Honokeana Cove and will never stay anywhere else! Thanks for making our honeymoon the best week ever!

The “cove” is a very special place to stay. We never needed the AC, the ceiling fans were enough. Betty was very responsive to our need for a stove top kettle! It took us a bit to get used to the very soft mattress topper and pillows. The living room couch made quite a noise when you first sat on it, but we realize it was a sofa bed, so it was the mechanism inside that made the sound. A few more plastic drinking cups, with lids to take out on the lawn would be nice. We enjoyed the lanai and ate our dinners outside each night. Housekeeping were very efficient and did a wonderful job each week. Su is just as welcoming as she has always been!

This is a wonderful unit! It's nicely updated and the bedroom has a portable air conditioner perfect for cooling down the room for afternoon naps. You don't really need it on at night. The lanai is also extremely comfortable, and the table and chairs are great. Nice, big table, and the chairs and cushions are super comfy. This unit is right next door to the property manager and his family, and they are wonderful.

Once you arrive at Honokeana Cove you will not want to leave. The location is perfect. We loved just sitting on the lanai. It was a wonderful case of Polynesian Paralysis. :)

I've stayed in a variety of condos here. I love the location! This visit, i hate to say, the house keeping lacked. In our unit, the glass table top was dirty, the cabinet handles were disgusting, with clumps of items on the handles and refrigerator handles. Very gross...especially when told extra cleaning was being done. I cleaned all these areas mentioned myself before i could relax. I was disappointed.

What can one say about a magical place we have been visiting for almost 30 years now ? The Cove is a cozy spot with no resort type pretentiousness. Why would you want to pay $1,000 plus a night to stay at a resort when you can be right on the ocean with top notch snorkelling right out your front door? My only hesitation in recommending it, is I don’t want it any busier than it is. Mahalo to Su as always for making us feel at home.

We've come to Honokeana 4-5 times and always enjoy our stay. We've stayed in various units. We found 111 to be very comfortable, clean and nicely updated. The laundry room was very clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We like the smaller size of Honokeana and the fact that it has the Bay where it's easy access to the water.

Everyone that we met, guests and staff were wonderful. The unit, 111 is very nice with beautiful views especially at sunrise and sunset. Although those times are better spent at the seawall with other guests. The wildlife that you can view in the cove is amazing. The only negative is that the unit safe is broken.

We are regulars at the Cove but had not stayed in this unit before. It is very nicely updated. The kitchen is very functional and attractive with all the equipment and tools that are needed. Furnishings and bedding are very comfortable. The view of the cove and the sunset are just perfect from the lanai. No parking lot noise. Bedroom air conditioner was not needed but will be useful in warmer month. As always the management was excellent Very enjoyable stay

The furnishings were a bit dated, and need an update. We were happy that there were snorkels for us to use. On our last night a woman dropped off a boogie board saying that she had stayed in our unit and then moved to another unit and she kept the board, which I thought was kinda weird on her part.We had 4 staying in the unit and I had no choice but to awaken the manager on our late arrival to get sheets for the sofa bed. I am sorry that I had to disturb him. Absolutely loved the location, one of the best snorkeling spots with fish and sea turtles. The view from the unit was spectacular. I liked the small size of the resort, and the friendliness of neighbors and staff. I WILL be back!

Honokeana cove is an absolutely magical place. As we maneuvered through all the rollercoaster ups and downs of covid travel both Su and Betty were so very helpful. Once we arrived this extra care continued. The on sight manager Ray and his sweet little family keep this fabulous location in tip top shape. To say the grounds are beautiful is an understatement. We had 3 units, 115,111, and 213. The A/C went out in 213 a couple weeks before our visit and though it was a little warm mid day the unit cooled down nicely once the sun went down. I felt 213 and 115 could use a little updating in furnishings, but each is independently owned and reflects the owners taste. Unit 111 was very tastefully decorated and appointed. I fully understand why 80% + are return visitors to this piece of paradise.

Favorite part of vacation was waking up, starting the coffee maker, then reading a book on the lanai and staring out into the ocean. My husband, myself, and our 2 year old had an incredible stay at this clean, convenient, and relaxing unit in an ideal spot. The property was well maintained by the on-site manager (he and his family are true gems!) and the pool, courtyard, and cove were very kid friendly. I cooked the majority of the time, which was helped by the well-functioning appliances and the farmers market up the road on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but also enjoyed some takeout on the lanai from great restaurants in nearby Lahaina. Napili beach was about a 5 minute walk away when we wanted some sand, as the cove is all rocks. The air conditioning unit was a nice touch to help my kiddo with his midday naps. Loved my stay, and this location was big reason!

Betty in the front office is rude, not friendly and makes you feel unwelcomed. Guest said they would not be coming back if she is still there. She needs to find another job somewhere else. Su is awesome.
