I cannot say enough good things about this condo. Inside is well laid out, with a bedroom / bathroom upstairs (the grandparents used it) and 2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom on the main level where we had for us and the kids. The pool is wonderful, so convenient, clean and our good swimmer kids played down there on their own while we cooked meals in the VERY well stocked kitchen.
The cove is incredible. INCREDIBLE. Best turtle spotting anywhere. In fact, we took a boat tour and went to “turtle town” and saw zero turtles, but hopped into the cove (steps from the pool and the condo) and saw (no joke) 15 swimming turtles, tons of fish and an octopus. And the turtles (like 10 of them) take daily naps on the rocks. The cove is a terrific place for kids to snorkel.
The condo is in a very small “complex” (only 30) and not a high rise complex (only 2 stories of condos). From here, we took morning snorkel trips all over, and even a day trip to Haleakala National Park.
The condo offers a stand up paddle board, pool floaties, beach chairs and snorkel gear. And the manager, Victor, is friendly and super knowledgeable about all things Maui.
No air conditioning, but we slept with all the windows open and never felt hot. We had Thanksgiving dinner here and the kitchen felt stocked like at home.

This was our second time staying in this beautiful condo in Honokeana Cove. In fact, it is so good, we are booked to stay in 2024 again, too! Cyndy and her property manager, Victor, are an absolute pleasure to work with! The condo is perfect! We are always in instant vacation mode as soon as we open the door. The property itself is incredible, too. We love to relax in the outside heated pool, while we enjoy the spectacular views of Molokai (especially at sunset) or watch the migrating humpbacks and their babies, breaching just outside the cove. We absolutely love getting out in the cove for our daily snorkels, with the amazing plethora of turtles and spectacular Maui sea life. We always feel wrapped in Aloha, starting with our very first contact with Cyndy and Victor. Honokeana Cove has become very much a part of us, just as Maui has!! We are really looking forward to returning next year!!

We were here when tragedy happened in Lahaina. Victor bright is flashlights, checked on us daily, and brought us to the tour buses to leave the island. It was wild but I am soo thankful we were at this little slice of heaven. I would go back tomorrow!!

Second year staying at this little slice of heaven! Cyndy, the owner and Victor the property manager are just outstanding! Truly feel as if they are long lost friends in how friendly and genuine they both are. The unit and property are amazing, perfectly placed in the single best location on Maui. We literally are setting aside dates for 2024 and 2025 to keep this Maui tradition alive with our family for many years to come! Cannot say thank you enough times to Cyndy for sharing her amazing home!

The property was even more than advertised. The complex is on a cove that is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. We also could enjoy turtles sunning themselves on the shore. The condo it self was roomy and very comfortable. We had our four late teen and early twenties daughters. We could easily cook using the kitchen and the on-site grill. The manager was very communicative and helpful. The location is great with beaches in a short walking distance and other amenities very close by. The property is so peaceful and beautiful. We wished we could have stayed another week! Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved the condo and location. We woke each morning to a beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai. We saw many turtles each evening on the rocks and in the water right outside and thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling with them. We will definitely be back!

Really nice location. Quiet and peaceful. Easy drive to Lahaina, beaches are just up the street. The cove is really nice for snorkeling. Lots of fish, probably around twenty sea turtles. The grounds are maintained very well with lots of flowers. There is a nice market around the corner and nice restuarants nearby. Make reservations for restaurants before you get here because they booked up.
We were provided beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels. There was a lot of snorkeling gear so you won't have to rent too much.
We loved our stay and are recommending this condo for our friend's upcoming Hawaii trip.

What a great spot. The condo was clean and well provisioned, the cove it quiet and an amazing spot for snorkeling and paddle boarding and the grounds are well tended and serene. We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book this wonderful condo again. While it was pretty warm here during our stay and the bedrooms heated up, the fans were adequate for comfortable sleeping (and I generally hate sleeping in hot rooms). Don't let no AC scare you away.

We had such a great visit to Maui and LOVED this condo location. The rocky cove was a haven for sea turtles and we had a great time snorkeling there. It was a short walk to the beaches at Napili and Kapalua. The condo was just as advertised. We hope to return!

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was beautiful, quiet, the beds were comfortable and the view was excellent. Our communication with Victor was excellent with him providing prompt responses. The only negative was the parking situation. There was always a spot available, but trying to maneuver a minivan in the tight parking lot was a challenge. I highly recommend this rental and hope to return.

We loved our stay at Honokeana Cove. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The only thing we would have changed were the beach towels. They were good for sunbathing, but no absorbency for drying off. We ended up buying beach towels.

This place is absolutely amazing. The condo is set up really well with a large well supplied kitchen that is easy to cook in. There lack of air conditioning is no problem with windows open and fans running. Victor was a huge help while we where there, checking in with us every few days to make sure we didn’t need anything, he was going to arrange some toy rentals for us, but it turned out we didn’t have time, but that’s ok because we WILL be back!

The unit is great--clean and fully equipped. The upstairs bed/bath is so self-contained that it felt like Grandma had her own space. Honokeana Cove is great, with steps down to snorkeling. (We saw lots of turtles here--way more than on a snorkel cruise to Turtle Town.) The shopping center that's two minutes away has a grocery store, coffee shop, and several restaurants and shops. Two restaurants are within a five minute walk. Victor was so helpful. We called him with questions, and he was always immediately responsive. Thank you!

Maui is gorgeous! 🌴 This ocean front property had great views of Honokeana Bay and the turtles that visited daily. Twice we saw a double rainbow off the lanai. Location is great. Walking distance to two restaurants and the utterly gorgeous Napili beach. The property is very much a fishbowl. You can see and hear everything in the other units. The condo Itself is much smaller than we anticipated. We were a party of 4 and would not have felt comfortable with any more people in the unit. There is not much of a living room space to speak of so we often felt like we were tripping over each other if we were walking in and out from the lanai. It was stocked with basic necessities and snorkel gear, water shoes, beach chairs and towels. A small cooler to take to the beach if needed. I agree with other reviews that ac would be nice. It does cool off in the evenings, but it was so humid most of the day. The condo would benefit from an update. The view is amazing. Property manager Victor, the property manager, was very responsive and helpful! Gave us great tips and advice for our first time visit. Mahalo for the hospitality. 🌺🐢

It is one of the most incredibly updated condo's at the complex, kitchen, bath, bedrooms and more. Many other units have only done minor enhancements which show their age.

If you want to get away from the crowded resort type scene, look no further! I wish all of Maui is as cool as this spot. Very private, super easy access to Honokeana Cove for snorkeling. Great snorkeling if swell isn't coming in. Pro tip: as you walk down the main stairs go to your left and walk down the seawall to three short stairs that lead you into the water. No need to walk over loose rocks which are slippery and uneven. We saw tons of turtles, and a special visit by a monk seal (an endangered species only found in Hawaii, literally only 1,500 of them left), and loads of dolphins swimming just beyond the cove. Gorgeous sunsets from the point that has easy access via a public trail. The condo as equally great as the outdoors, and the property manager Victor is fantastic! So accommodating. He provided us with some paddle boards and kayaks for a small weekly fee and even hand delivered them. The condo has a ton of snorkel gear (water shoes, snorkels, masks, and fins) so don't bother bringing any if you aren't particular. The condo was very comfortable for our 4 adults and 1 child. Well equipped kitchen (rice cooker and insta pot to boot!). The only very minor complaint was the pillows. They could stand to be replaced, and weren't very comfortable but I also have back issues so just personal preference. Some folks complained in other reviews about lack of AC but it cools off so nice in the evening that you don't even need it. They also have tons of fans. Very clean upon arrival, easy check-in and check-out. Appreciated the 11 a.m. check-out since we had a later flight. Overall, a very special place. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. After doing a lot or research on Maui vacation rentals I booked Cyndy's condo at Honokeana Cove. Best decision ever! You will read many reviews about people making return trips to the Cove and it is easy to see why. This is a truly special spot on the island where Aloha is alive and well. We enjoyed our coffee on the balcony each morning and watched the sun rise on Moloka'i. Paddle boarded in AM (Thanks Victor for hooking that up!), snorkeled and that was all before 10AM! The unit itself was awesome. Very comfortable for our party of 6. It is also situated where the balcony is shaded all day. You will want to go down and enjoy the immaculate grounds of the complex and watch the sunset each night. Just gorgeous with the tiki torches and Kamani tree all lit up at night. Can't say enough good things about the Cove. Staying at this unit and having Victor available for any needs was especially nice. We have been to Maui a few times and stayed at other spots, but we will be joining the loyalist of the Cove. It's just that special. Mahalo Cyndy and Victor!

For our daughters graduation trip we were looking for a more authentic HI small, organic feel, not a high-rise beach resort. This place delivered. By far the cove was the biggest feature that we all enjoyed thoroughly. It is a very small complex, so the other type of guests can make/break the experience for sure. You share a small (beautifully kept, I must say) courtyard and pool as well as the cove (& parking is tight). For the most part, it was a low key and friendly group. We were not there during the day much. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed. As a group of 6 adults we did really miss comfortable seating anywhere in the unit for us to all gather.

We love to come to this property and this unit was well suited for our party of 6 adults. Great communication from the owner and local manager. The unit is as described and as shown in the photos. Easy access with keyless entry. It has a well stocked kitchen, modern appliances, comfortable furnishings and is refurbished and clean. If you are looking for the “resort experience” (which we are sometimes) with a spa, poolside bar, on site restaurants, elevator, AC, etc, this is not the property for you. But if you are looking for a totally relaxing, laid back, waterfront, easy entrance and excellent snorkeling experience, this is the place for you. There is no AC, but with the louvered windows throughout and ceiling and other fans and trade winds it was comfortable, no problems. There is shopping and restaurants nearby. We like to stop at Costco and/or other grocery stores on the way from the airport. Buy fresh fish at Costco or other market and grill it on the BBQs while watching the sunset.

We just had 2 weeks in this gorgeous condo with our adult children and grandchild. The condo is just as described and easily accommodated the 7 of us. No a/c but tons of windows and fans and we were always nice and cool inside. Cyndy and Victor were wonderful to deal with and provided lots of tips on things to see & do, where to eat, best fish market, etc. The condo complex grounds are immaculate and the pool is so warm. Aloha! We were supposed to stay at this property in April of 2020 and then....COVID. Cyndy was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end! She helped us navigate all the uncertainties associated with the pandemic shutdowns and told us she would be waiting for us when things opened back up and it was safe to travel again. Boy, was it worth the wait!! The condo itself is one of the biggest and prettiest on the property! We all absolutely loved it! The property itself is out of this world! We snorkeled every day in the cove with the turtles and all the other amazing ocean life. After a quick rinse, we were floating around in the pool and/or cooking on the grills. We enjoyed watching incredible sunsets over Molokai, with many accompanied by breathtaking humpback whale performances. By the time they lit the tiki torches each night, we were pinching ourselves to be sure it was all real. We are already booked for next year and we have started our countdown for when we will be back again!! Mahalo, Cyndy!!

I cannot say enough about this property. We are a large family of 6 and this house fit our needs perfectly. The location is AMAZING and close to many beautiful beaches and coves. The pool is right outside the balcony making it very convenient to keep an eye on the kids. The kitchen was well equipped and I prepared all meals over our 9 day vacation easily and efficiently. The grounds are spectacular and well kept. Even the BBQ's are cleaned daily. The property managers were great and checked in to make sure we were having a good time and had no issues. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone coming to Maui and look forward to staying again.

We have stayed in many, many condos over the years on vacations. This was by far the best experience we have ever had. From the booking, to communication prior to arrival, to the unit cleanliness and how well stocked it was, to the beauty, friendliness, ease of snorkeling and walking to other beaches, it was absolutely the BEST!!! The manager of the complex was out each morning scrubbing the pool, barbeques, and taking care of anything that wasn't pristine to make sure everything on the grounds were perfect! Cyndy was responsive and kind, and Victor was friendly and easy to reach if we needed anything! Do not hesitate to book this unit! 5 plus stars all the way around!!!

We love Victor! Our flights changed and he picked up our elderly mother at the airport 8 hours before we arrived. We loved this place as the people staying there are all wonderful. We can't wait to go again. Also we cook like crazy and the kitchen is stocked! Spices, meat pounder, serving dishes etc. Been in 100 rentals but never one as well-stocked for cooking as this one.

Couldn’t recommend this unit enough! The rental was even better in person than in pictures, the location in Napili can’t be beat, and the cove to snorkel directly outside was an extra treat. There were lots of fish and sea turtles to swim with! The cherry on top was the service from both Victor, the property manager, who was incredibly helpful as well as the owners of the unit sending along lots of recommendations of things for us to do. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to stay, well worth the money.

This was a wonderful and very relaxing vacation rental. The pictures do not even come close to showing how amazing the location and views are from this unit. In the first few minutes we saw turtles in the cove and dolphins in the bay. The location of the unit is ideal. Very easy/short walk from parking lot to unload car and washer/dryer room is basically steps from unit. The grounds of the complex are beautiful and very well maintained. Once you step into the complex, you feel very far away from the road and surrounding area. This is a secluded condo complex around a peaceful cove. You almost feel that the cove is your own private paradise. There is no other place like it on the island (as far as I know).
The mornings are very quiet and relaxing. The cove is most calm early in the morning. A great place to enjoy a cup of coffee, a book, and an amazing view. In the evenings there are picturesque sunsets that can be seen from the lawn. Most of the residents meet (with cocktails) to admire the view, the sunset, and socialize. The complex is extremely friendly with a mix of all ages. The BBQ grills are well maintained and clean. The pool is not huge but perfect to cool off in and relax with kids.
The condo itself has everything you need from cooking to dishes to books/games and more. Most important is that there are plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkel gear, and now sand toys for kids. The layout works well for a party of 6. The only thing I would mention is that with 4 adults and 2 kids there was not enough seats to lounge on. There are 4-5 bar stools but only one couch and one chair. This wasn't a major issue for us with the kids plus there are plenty of seats and room on the patio. Very rarely did we ever sit inside unless it was later in the evening and we were reading or playing games. The upstairs room does get warm during the day but cools off very well at night (we actually had to turn down fans in early morning).
We are huge fans of this unit and complex. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Whether it be honeymooners to a family of 6, this place has everything you need and more. You will not get bored and there are tons to do. Walk to breakfast or beaches, golf, snorkeling in cove, paddle boarding in cove, drive up coast to beaches, and much more. We came back to Unit #206 for a 10-day stay, with my sister's family. We had a wonderful trip - snorkeling in the Cove was awesome, and Victor, the manager on site, hooked us up with some SUP boards! Highly recommend this place!

We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the balcony watching the turtles in the early morning sunlight. Afternoons of paddle boarding or snorkeling in the cove. Evenings out sampling Maui cuisine. Definitely make sure you reserve Old Lahaina Luau months ahead of schedule. Cyndy and Victor make your stay such an enjoyable experience. Find a spot every evening to watch the sunset. From Hana to Front St. to Napili just a great experience and the great comfort of Honokeana Cove and their turtles.

We loved our stay at Honokeana Cove! Everything exceeded our expectations, from the personalized welcome & attention to detail from Victor, to the 5 star amenities and decor of the condo, to the relaxing and aloha spirit of each room... It was absolute perfection!
We loved the location on Maui and enjoyed the nearby beaches as well as the beautiful cove just steps from our door. There were so many turtles and we never tired of snorkeling and paddle boarding next to them. The ground were beautifully kept and the entire condo area was quiet and friendly.
We can't wait to go back and can't recommend it highly enough!!!

Our week at the cove was a slice of paradise that offered a beautiful view, warm breezes, relaxed atmosphere and close proximity to all the activities and beauty that Maui has to offer. The cove offered a safe and entertaining area for our kids to snorkel, paddle board, and enjoy the tropical fish an turtles. We definitely recommend and will be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This unit fit 5 adults very comfortably. The unit was well equipped and clean. The cove right outside your door is amazing. We snorkeled everyday and got to swim right alongside sea turtles. No need to pay for a snorkeling tour! Victor was great! He stopped by to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed and he was always a phone call away! Two beaches are within walking distance so it was nice not to have to pile everyone into a car to travel to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

This is our second time here at the Cove and this time brought my WHOLE family including my new baby. The condo is so warm and island family friendly, so close to amazing snorkeling with turtles and GREAT restaurants! Wish we could have stayed longer!! Thank you Cyndy!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Honokeana cove for a family vacation, 5 adults in all. The cove is very calm and protected with exceptional turtle sightings and snorkeling. Though there is no sandy beach, there is easy access to the water. This is a totally private area, close to Napili and Kapalua Bays. Wonderful host Cyndy and agent Victor.

The view from this condo is beautiful, and the ocean is just down the steps from the pool area - perfect for swimming and snorkeling with the sea turtles who reside here. It's a small, quiet complex so it's ideal for those who don't like the big resort areas with lots of people. The cove is rocky (the owners have thoughtfully provided water shoes you can use) and doesn't have a sand beach, but the wonderful Napili Beach is only a short walk down the road. The condo is well-equipped with everything you need, including snorkels and fins, plus ample cooking and serving supplies.. The only downsides for us were that the condo is not air conditioned and the climate is humid, so everything seemed to stay damp all the time and the upstairs bedroom can get pretty warm. Also, the lovely master suite is a loft overlooking the common area, so there isn't complete privacy. If others are up early and making noise, you will be awake too.

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was clean, roomy, nicely decorated and conveniently located. We enjoyed snorkeling in the cove and hanging out by the pool. The grounds were perfectly kept and the atmosphere was lovely. Victor was very helpful with his great customer service. He was quick to answer any questions or requests. What a great place to stay in Maui! We found Honokeana Cove on the internet and just kind of blindly went into our vacation there, relying on some positive reviews, photos, and the idea that being right on the water would make anyplace nice. This place far exceeded our expectations.
Above all, the cove itself (as mentioned by many others here) is incredible for snorkeling and paddle boarding. All equipment came with our room, which is a great convenience. Turtles and fish are everywhere—on the paddle board you look right down at them, and when snorkeling there are times when the turtles are all around you. Hands down, the highlight of our vacation.
Getting in and out of the water on the rocky beach takes a little getting used to, but after one time in, you get it. If it’s a sandy beach you want, it’s a short walk to Napili, which has great waves for body surfing and boogie boarding, or just floating. Then you can come right back to the snorkeling.
The room itself is unique, cozy and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever. There was plenty of room for each of our kids to have their own bedroom (a definite plus), yet it still felt like we were all together. Games, kitchen supplies, coffee, recreational equipment—all supplied amenities were great. Keeping windows open provide more than enough cool air for the room – all from that beautiful breezy ocean air. It felt wonderful.
We never ended up meeting Victor (room manager), but every request by text was answered immediately and completely. We requested a paddle board at the last minute and it was there when we arrived. All was excellent regarding service and communication.
Seems like I should have some kind of negative to report, but it’s not easy to come up with anything. I don’t think the ice maker in the refrigerator worked, but that might have been user error. We were in Maui for nine days, three here and six at a larger resort down the road due to scheduling issues and traveling with other families. At the very least, I wish we could have reversed the number of days at each place. Can’t recommend Honokeana Cove highly enough.

My family stayed here last March and our visit to Honokeana Cove has us dreaming about coming back. The snorkeling in the cove in the back of the property is the best I've ever had. I had turtles with schools of fish swimming under me and I even saw an octopus and sea snake. The condo is equipped with everything you would want as a traveler and is well kept. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat.

As soon as you come in, you feel at home. Victor and the owner arranged everything (kitchen, towels, snorkel equipment, etc.) It is in a quiet cove with a rocky beach full of sea turtles. A short walk or drive away is a sandy beach, Napili. There is a small, well-maintained pool and a nice community. We had three adults and a 10-year old, and we all loved it. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at this property. The property manager, Victor, was very gracious and helpful. The unit was well equipped with all the basic needs including kitchen accessories, beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs, and small paddle boards. The grounds are extremely well kept and manicured. We especially loved access to the beautiful cove for snorkeling, paddle boarding, and turtle watching! We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first experience with VRBO on Maui. We feel like we hit a home run with Cyndy's condo on Honokeana Cove. My husband and I hosted our two kids, spouses, and a new infant granddaughter. The 3 bedroom condo accommodated all of us comfortably. Cyndy has furnished the condo with everything you need for a great time - fully equipped kitchen, beach gear including umbrellas, chairs, snorkeling gear, and even sunscreen. There are binoculars for a closer look at the sea turtles who love to swim in the Cove. Not only did we see turtles every day, but I swam across the cove and back every morning and on one day a turtle swam along with me.
The property is great. It 's on the shore of the Cove with with three small 2 story buildings surrounding a large grass area with a pool looking out on the Cove. The view from the grounds and from Cyndy's condo is beautiful. You see the Cove, the ocean, and Molokai across the channel. Sunsets are beautiful. The property sits on a bulkhead with a small rocky beach. There is a short walkway and steps that lead you to a sandy spot for getting into the water. The turtles like the warm rocks and one or two of them pulled out each day to sun themselves. That was a real treat. Snorkeling in the Cove was wonderful. Walking out your door and down the stairs to the water was so easy that my whole family went snorkeling several times each day. There was always something new to see. The water, of course, was warm and calm.
The listing description said that the condo was close to two of the best beaches on Maui; that is very true. We walked to both of them - a short walk. Both beaches were great. Napili Beach is closest with sandy beach and nice-sized waves. Kapalua was great for snorkeling - particularly the fish and coral.
On the practical side, the Napili Market is a two minute drive, maybe a ten minute walk away. We did all of our grocery shopping there; it had everything we needed. Kaanapali and Lahaina are within a 15 minute drive with a whole variety of restaurants, shopping, and things to do.
Cyndy, Victor, and Donna could not have been more helpful in making sure that our family vacation was perfect. Victor was in frequent communication with us regarding all the logistics, even including getting the baby stuff we had rented into the condo for our arrival. His restaurant recommendations were spot on as well. Overall, a great Maui location and people to work with. We had a really good family vacation.
