The location was great, and the condo was very spacious. My one complaint, though, is the couch was very saggy and uncomfortable to sit on. Also, the dining room chairs were not comfortable to sit on. The cushion for the outdoor lounge chair was very thin and not very soft. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Location was perfect as it was centrally located to get to the North and South shores. The condo was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Host was welcoming and responsive. The view of the ocean was beautiful! Loved the bike path along the ocean. Would suggest replacing the couch and getting cushions for the chairs on the lanai, otherwise it was a great stay!

The condo has everything you need plus extras. There is great beach gear - chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach towels, a cooler and even an awesome wagon to carry everything that was clutch! The gear is also in excellent condition. The condo was also very clean and smelled clean. Jared, the host, is an excellent host, fast communication, very responsive and answered all our questions very quickly. We cooked all our meals and found the condo has most everything we needed. (Like other condos, some of the cook wear, especially nonstick pans, could be replaced, but I have found this to be the case in nearly every condo I have rented - we bought a cast iron pan to cook with). The condo has extras such as a Brita water filter, spices, left over cooking oil, aluminum foil, etc that was also very useful. The condo is very clean but on the older side, we found the living room area to be nice but the bedroom while clean has older carpet and a bit of a dated feel. The windows in the bedroom also face the parking lot. The unit is close to the pool/ hot tub and the fitness room was bigger than most with lots of free weights. I found this condo to have more amenities than ones run by vacation rental companies. There is a bike shop walking distance to rent bikes for the Kaapa bike path, which is a must. The Kaapa area itself is certainly convenient but not very charming. Hope this review helps as I found many reviews to be very informative.

We loved this little gem! We generally gave this stay five stars but three stars for the check-in process. We had just gotten off of a very long flight with an infant and were given the wrong door code so we ended up sitting in our car until we heard back from the owners. They were super easy to work with on the issue but it did cause some stress! I am sure they will work hard to make sure that doesn’t happen again! Overall, wonderful stay!

The condo ended up being just great for our family of 5 adults and one 9 year old. The master bedroom is large, perfect for my son, his wife and 9 year old with a make shift bed on the floor for him. I stayed in the second bedroom, my 36 and 38 yr old stayed in the loft. Added bonus of a small fridge upstairs!Nice view of the sunrise each am on the lanai. It is pretty small but fine for the three of us up early.The kitchen was nicely stocked. We cooked several meals and had no issues. Lots of counter space and although the kitchen is not very big it’s fine for 2 or 3 to dance around while cooking. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas to use for beach outings. Coolers, fins, and other items also. Nice beach towels for all.Beds were okay.The grounds are well kept and the pool is very nice. Lots of space for hanging out. BBQ grill we used worked great. Nice, helpful concierge named Ty. We booked deep sea fishing, ATV’s, Napali coast dinner cruise and zip lining. All were great! There are plenty of beach/swimming needs available for rent at very reasonable rates in the concierge office. We would definitely stay here again!The condo was very hot upon arrival, especially in the loft, and it took the A/C quite awhile to get the place cooled down. Fortunately we arrived about 3pm and by bedtime it was cool enough for sleeping upstairs. Body wash and shampoo/conditioner not the best. Next time we will bring our own. Great location and town of Kapaa is awesome!

This condo was a beautiful oceanfront property. The bike/walking path is directly in front of the building, so there was a bit more action there than the listing could illuminate. But the property was beautiful and conveniently located. My granddaughter and I loved the time there.

We had an amazing stay. The condo was clean and fully stocked. Rated four stars for general condition due to the picture showing two lounge chairs out front, but there was only one. Great location. The AC worked very well. The overall property was lovely. The only downside was we could hear lots of movement above us. If you have a family staying above you, it can get a little noisy at times. But overall great experience, would stay here again.

We really enjoyed using the bikes, they were lightweight and easy to pedal. The bike path in front of the unit is excellent, especially pretty going north. Parking was easy, office had a luggage cart which helped. The beach umbrella and snorkel gear looks new, we also used the cooler and were appreciative of all the amenities. The patio was wonderful to relax on and view the ocean mornings and evenings. The grounds were quiet, we were there mid April. The bed was very comfortable, and the AC was great. The unit has everything you would need for a comfortable stay, quality furnishings, and very clean. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay again.

Despite the weather being the worst we have experienced in Kuaui, staying in one of the best units on Pono Kai made up for it. The unit was renovated some years ago but is still in very good condition, although some of the furniture and the bed pillows need replacing if the unit is to maintain its status as one of the best rental units in the resort.The kitchen is well stocked with crockery, glasses and pots and pans. This lovely unit is backed up with a magnificent view over the ocean that you could not get tired of.Contact with the owners was easy and they responded very quickly. We stayed at the unit for two weeks, and had a mid term clean arranged. The cleaner did an excellent job.All together, an excellent unit to stay in. If the unit is updated buy replacing the tired furniture, i would hsave given it 5 stars.

Beautiful view!, we stayed 12 nights, I have to say that the beach is really fun to swim, especially during Spring and summer, during Winter and Fall is not safe.The bed was small, more like a full bed( my husband slept on the couch in the living room ( he could listen to the waves) also the mattress is too soft, the guest upstairs were noisy, I recommend to bring noise cancellations ear buds, cause also the roosters are noisy and that is all over Kauai.The condo had everything and good quality, except the beach chairs, one of them the straps were broken so we couldn’t carry them on our back( we hardly use them)The host responds almost immediately, very sweet and kind.

Everything about the condo exceeded expectations! Shirley and her on-island associate, Cristine, were most accomodating and made every aspect of my holiday top shelf! My favorite part is that the lanai faces due east and it was the most perfect way to start the day with a cup of coffee and the sunrise. The only problem with this holiday and my stay is that it wasn't long enough!!! In all my 64 years, Kauai has been my favorite holiday and I'll definitely be returning (and to the same accomodations) next year! aloha

Everything about this place was awesome. The location was great since it was in between the north and south side so we could visit both without too much time in the car. The place was clean, had amazing ocean views and had everything we needed. Even beach chairs and boogie boards. The location was on a beach walking/running trail which was nice since I was training for a marathon. The hosts were top notch with communication on anything we needed. We would stay here anytime we visit Kauai.

This was a very disappointing Vrbo experience. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and when the toilet flushes or people are upstairs walking, it’s unbearable The noise it sounds like torrential rain when the toilet flushes and elephants are upstairs stomping when they are walking. We couldn’t sleep. We couldn’t relax. Kapa Beach is not anywhere close to a swimming beach and although our ground level balcony had an amazing view of a beautiful ocean, the noise above us, made it really hard to relax and enjoy the serene views. We asked the people at front desk main lobby. If they could let the people above us know how horribly insulated this place was maybe they would be a little quieter if they only knew how much we could hear everything they did or said furniture moving balls bouncing. The response we got was quiet hours are from 10 to 8. If you have a problem call between this hours. We ended up booking a different room for the rest of our stay at the at Marriott resort just so we could have a place to sleep in quiet for the night. Not a good experience at all not worth the money. The location isn’t great I wouldn’t recommend.

Our stay was wonderful. The view from the patio was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning. The location was also very convenient. We were close to the town of Kapaa and enjoyed walking the bike path that runs infront of the condo. We were a short drive from hiking trails and public beaches.

Our second year staying at this wonderful condo. Stephanie and Steven could not have been nicer hosts. The condo is in a great location within walking distance from many shops and restaurants about 20 feet from the ocean! It is also well maintained and beautifully appointed. We had an unusual weather pattern on last few days and they allowed us to stay one more night for the storm to clear.

Condo was as advertised and very clean. There was a problem with the door codes not working when we first arrived, but the manager resolved that issue within a 10-minute phone call and was readily available if any problem occurred. Area is in the town of Kappa, with a quaint local experience and a lot of interesting shops to visit. Bike path out front is ideal for traveling up and down the coast and a local bike shop is available if the 2 bikes included in the rental do not work for you. Swimmable beaches and restaurants are easy to find during the winter months. We had a wonderful week and would return to the same condo in the future.

For two people, I doubt if you’ll find a safer, cleaner, more bang for your buck than this unit. It is right in the thick of things. You can walk to restaurant shops within a block or two. It’s not a resort by any means, but it’s a very nice condo complex with pool area and times of open space. Being right on the ground floor was great. Huge boardwalk to walk right in front. Owner was very attentive. Unit has everything you could ask for supplied inside. Very nice appliances and comfortable furniture to sit on. If we came back, I would book this place in a heartbeat. They really take pride in their property.

This place is really nice! Unfortunately, when we arrived, we could not get into the unit. We were given a code but it was incorrect. We were outside for more than an hour (with our infant) as the front desk couldn’t help us and VRBO couldn’t get ahold of the manager/owner. Afterwards, they still communicated very poorly. The unit itself was very clean and very accurate to the pictures and it’s just a shame we couldn’t make this situation right and I wouldn’t stay again just for fear of not being able to get ahold of someone if you need to.
