Located on the eastern coast, the location is perfect for activities all over the island. The beach at the condo is mostly private, but not a good swimming area. But you can walk 5 minutes north to a safe swimming location. Wonderful stay! Highly recommend.

Our family of four adults stayed in May 2025 and really enjoyed the location—the view can’t be beat. The beds were comfortable and with the sea breeze air conditioning wasn’t needed. The outdoor chest has beach chairs, umbrella, toys and even a cooler. Living near saltwater ourselves we know how harsh it is, some things are starting to show their age but it didn’t take away from the charm of the rental. We would happily spend another week here.

What a lovely place to stay. Near town & airport as well as halfway between other various places/beaches you might like to visit. (The airport was sure handy when we found two things wrong with two different cars after leaving the lot… - just fyi, check the gas gauge & tires!) Only 10 mins walk to Lydgate Beach & the very cute, fun Mamahune tiki bar. Great to have two lanais and two bathrooms as well! A few things could’ve been more perfect, dropped a line to the managers, nothing a big enough deal to call at the time. Overall fabulous spot, would stay again!

Everything in the apartment was nice, updated, and comfortable. It took a moment to understand that not everyone follows rules the same way, we had a (weed) smoker nearby that was never located and that was the only unpleasant part. The ability to walk to the shore was really nice.

This property on the east side of Lihue is situated centrally for wherever you would want to go on the island. It has a spectacular sunrise view with a paved walking trail running along the beach. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need to get you started. Only negative was there is no A/C which made is slightly uncomfortable during the day. But, with the windows open and fans on at night we slept comfortably.

The unit had no air conditioning. Read the fine print. Everything hot and sweaty including dripping windows, cabinets, and mirrors, floors were sticky and dirty. Fans provided but doesn’t cut the heat or humidity. Homeless down the street and seen on the property. Not enough towels provided for our stay. Property manager was quick to respond to our concerns.

Had an amazing and relaxing stay. Convenient and quiet location. The ocean view from the balcony was so peaceful to wake up to and enjoyed it at night. Did have to get used to hearing the roosters everyday at 4am from the bedroom. Also I would suggest having ice packs to use for the cooler. Other wise had everything I needed and would definitely stay there again.

The condo was just as advertised and was beautiful, with a lovely ocean view. The Kaha Lani complex has never disappointed. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool is great. This was the fourth condo we have rented here, and if/when we return, we’ll try to get 114 again.

Great location! Place was nice and well equipped. However, sleeper sofa is very old and mattress is extremely uncomfortable. We had 3 adults (mom and two adult kids) so one person had to sleep on sleeper sofa. The mattress is so bad - someone just slept on the couch. Place really only works for 2 for sleeping.

Beautiful view and well appointed condo. It is a very relaxing and comfortable home away from home. Decorated very nicely. Comfortable bed and furniture. It has everything you need including beach chairs, beach towels, and snorkel gear. Know that it is on the second floor and there is no elevator, but it is has one easy flight of stairs with an exterior entrance which is nice. The lanai/balcony was a great spot to enjoy the view, but neighboring lanai is very close without any screening/separation between the two. The people staying in that neighboring condo could get loud on the lanai at times disrupting our peaceful stay. All and all we have a very pleasing stay and would stay here again. It is conveniently located and an easy walk to Lydgate Beach.

We were very, very happy with the rental. The beach view was stunning, the unit was lovely and very well outfitted, and the location was convenient for exploring all parts of the island. We were impressed with communications with the owner. We took advantage of the walking path to the nearby beach with swimming ponds and the other beach areas right by the complex most every day, while also exploring some other part of the island each day. We would definitely rent this unit again if we return to Kauai.

We loved our stay here. Kaha Lani was more than a perfect jumping off point for visiting everywhere on the island, it was a great place to spend time. We enjoyed ocean views from the lanai, walked and ran along the path to Lydgate Park, and went swimming in that beautiful blue ocean.

We brought my sister who is dying of cancer to Hawaii one last time. This condo is beautiful, conveniently located and has a gorgeous sunrise view. We needed wheelchair accessible. This place was great! Small step into the house. Wheelchair doesn't fit down the hall though. That worked for us no problem, but wanted to mention it if that matters for you. The management was super friendly and easy to work with Thank you for the memories!!!

Are stay here started off a little rocky, with somebody earlier that day apparently locking the deadbolt and taking the key with them? We loved the privacy of the unit, parking was ideal for handicapped, and a week w/o towel or bedding service worked out very well. Well stocked kitchen, we would love to return.

Also, the owner could add beach chairs and boogie boards for guests to further enjoy their stay. All that said I would stay again due to perfect location.

We chose this location because is is centrally located with easy access to both the north and south sides of Kauai. We didn't expect to spend much time at Kaha Lani's beach, but we discovered its perfect for morning walks as it stretches over 2 miles bordered by parks and a golf course. We also enjoyed the Smith Family Garden Luau is less than a mile away.

Chad was excellent communicating local info with us and condo was exactly as described. Location convenient to the island. And we enjoyed it balcony overlooking the ocean and watching the sunrise every morning (special thanks to our rooster alarm clock that made sure we didn’t miss it). This was my second time in Hawaii, first on Kaui'i. The island is definitely quieter than Maui or Oahu, and the scenery is amazing! As far as the property itself, it feels a little older and dated, but was comfortable and seemed well maintained. The beach was easily reached, the sand was soft, and there were very few people there. It was not a swimming or snorkeling beach as the waves are very strong here, but the public beach is easily reached by walking and there is a reef there that makes it safe and comfortable. This beach is more a sitting, reading, relaxing, and walking beach. There was, unfortunately, quite a bit of trash on sections we walked to, which made us sad to see. The only negative we have is something that cannot be easily remedied, namely the roosters! Hurricane Iniki apparently damaged a lot of chicken coops, leaving a large feral chicken population on the island. And these roosters are not on the same time zone as the island. One seemed to always be crowing at 3 AM! And since this unit is not air conditioned (who needs that on Hawaii, after all?), we had the windows opened. Despite that, my wife says this was her favorite place we stayed of the three islands we were on, due to the overall quiet and comfortable nature of the resort. Chad was very good as a host, and since our flight home left at 7:30 PM, we were able to stay an extra half day (for a small fee), which was a very very good thing!Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A spacious, sparkling clean, recently renovated condo in a private and quiet location with a breathtaking ocean view. Lovely and comfortable furnishings with a well provisioned kitchen. Easy beach access and the owner stocked the condo with all the beach amenities one could ask for…chairs, coolers, snorkels, fins, umbrellas. The pool looked great, however we preferred to swim in the ocean which is only a few steps away. The condo location gives you easy access to both North and South side of the island and the perfect location for bicycling on the Kauai coastal bike path. Great restaurants and oceanfront bars are very close by. We are definitely coming back and we highly recommend staying at this condo.

This property was quiet, beautiful, and had everything we needed. The ocean directly in front was a bit rough and not great for swimming but it was a short walk to Lydgate beach where this was possible. The other thing I should say is that there is no A/C in this unit which would make a very hot summer but for March it was okay. Really loved all the condo had to offer and the fact that it had a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. I would definitely recommend this facility.

We had an amazing time here. The location is perfect for little kids. Heater pool at the condo and then 5 min walk to a beach set up for kids with two huge parks. Who could ask for more. The condo itself is stocked with everything we needed and we added a couple extra toys for kids. We'll definitely be back.
