Everything about the unit is perfect , location to town, access to excellent beaches, beautiful sunrises, cooking utensils, beach accessories, comfortable bed. The unit has it all. I could see that the lack of AC in the hot months could be a problem as Kauai is more humid than other island and the trade winds are not always blowing enough to keep the unit cool.There are extra fans provided though and when positioned correctly the unit stays comfortable .

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here but we had a few issues. The location is great for exploring the entire island as it’s in the middle. It was nice to walk to the swimmable area of the beach and we were in the pool everyday. The view is unbeatable. We managed without air conditioning because of the breeze. The negatives we encountered was mold being on the tapestry, coasters, and blinds. Clearly Hawai’i is a humid environment but those items need to be replaced. We thought the entire place needs a deep clean, things like side tables or the fans looked like they haven’t been dusted in a while. I was disappointed by the items provided for the beach. One of the chairs was broken and the other was heavily rusted. The cooler bag was broken with someone’s swimsuit hygienic liner in it. We ended up buying a new one to leave at the location. I don’t think we would come back to this spot but agreed it had value as a place to stay if the above things are addressed. I attempted to send a private message during our stay about the mold concerns via VRBO and did not get a response.

Great location for us- went swimming and walking every morning/evening - mahalo for all the beach towels….Kitchen …washer & dryer …toilets with bidets…all good.On the down side- upstairs guest arrived with 3 little kids who NEVER stopped running around & talking, dad kept yelling at them- kept tossing things off their balcony -crazy but kids are kids…also trying getting in touch with our host about leaving a day earlier- we left Sunday instead on Monday and still haven’t heard back yet about a 1 day refund.Overall stay was great and perfect for what we needed.

All the little touches were appreciated. We loved our condo. We spent most of our waking hours on the oceanfront balcony. It was a great place to enjoy our morning coffee. We also appreciated the extra half bathroom. The large mirror in that bathroom was ideal for shaving and putting on makeup. The path along the ocean was a great place for a stroll. If we every return, we'll stay at this resort again.

Overall, it was a nice place to stay. However, the owner needs to update some photos. There is NO pull-out couch, as shown in the photos. I had a child who didn't want to sleep on the top bunk, but we made it work. The outdoor furniture was also different in the photos. We were very thankful for all the fans, but the first 2 nights were VERY uncomfortable and warm since the hurricane had stopped the trade winds for a few days. We had ants every morning in the kitchen, no matter how clean we left it, but there was a spray provided under the sink, and we know bugs are common in Hawaii, just be prepared. We had a few issues with the Toilet bowl handle and the outdoor sliding screens.Location was perfect for sunrises and waking to Lydgate Park. But it can get loud with maintenance.Overall we enjoyed our stay, but there needs to be some photo updates.

What an amazing location! The beach was just across the lawn just beyond the walking path that spans the length of Lydgate Park. We went for walks on the beach every morning. My son fished right from the beach and caught bonefish and Jack fish among others. The walk to Lydgate Beach park was just 5 mins, where we enjoyed swimming and snorkeling. And just beyond we went to Mama Hune’s for cocktails. The location gave us great access to Waimea Canyon, Farmers Market, Poipu, Coconut Marketplace and the Wailua River. Our adult kids enjoyed a kayak / hike to the waterfalls along the river. A special shout out to the Lava Lava Beach Club, where we enjoyed multiple meals in a beautiful setting on the beach with live music.

Amazing place with quick access to the beach! We would stay here again. We had a great time. Condo is well equipped with everything you need. The bed is comfortable and bathrooms are upgraded; perfectly accommodated all our needs.We thought no a/c would be an issue, but it was fine. The evaporators supplied, with added ice, worked great. The freezer allowed plenty of space to store the ice and the fans were very easy to operate. No worries about the lack of a/c unless you plan to spend allot of time inside.There was quite a bit of maintenance occurring while we were there, plumbing clean outs, pest control, and landscaping. We were at the beach most days and it wasn’t too intrusive for us.We would have appreciated advanced notice when we booked it, as that may have prompted us to adjust our dates for a more pleasurable experience. But overall, it was fine. Just to Note!

Location of the property was great! We woke up each day to the sunrise on the ocean. Would stay in the complex again but not the specific unit. We’re used to travelling in hostels but we found this place a bit too dirty for the price. It could use a good deep clean. Lots of stains, dust, and crumbs throughout the apartment. See photos.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, had beautiful views, a refreshing pool, and short walk to the beach. The condo supplied everything we needed for 2 weeks stay (beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, water shoes, snorkeling gear etc) and was super accommodating and wonderful hospitality with fresh flowers on the dining room table, coffee pods for the mornings and local cookies as a small gift. The condo has plenty of fans to help the breeze flow through the condo and keeps it surprisingly cool. They even provided a steamer, iron and ironing board for us to use on our clothes for a professional photoshoot on the beach. Its perfect location on Island allowed us to travel north or south to other cities and beaches within reasonable time depending on traffic. We highly recommend this property and will be back for sure! Thank you for a lovely anniversary trip and sharing your condo with us. The McBrides

This property is fantastic. The location is idyllic and the host, the Parrish Collection, went above and beyond to quickly address any and all concerns that came up..including a neighboring unit's new occupant chain smoking and filling our unit with cancer fumes. This is not a complaint, but just a word of warning that, like the mainland, Kauai is Hot in August. The hosts do as good a job as possible providing fans for this 'no a/c' unit, but we still had a few nights that were borderline unbearable inside the bedrooom with the heat ( our daughter stayed on the pullout in the living room and was fine). A visit here in winter/spring I think would be totally comfortable with just fans and ocean breezes to move the air. All in all, I would recommend this unit to anyone, loved it. The service was the best we've ever had in a vrbo rental.

Wonderful spot! Very clean with everything you need. Enjoyed the beach access, pool and easy parking. Huge supply of beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, beach toys and a umbrella. Of course it’s hot in Kauai in August and no one has air conditioning, but plenty of fans. Great location. Would stay here again

Easy process for booking and great communication. The view was breathtaking. The breezes were phenomenal. Beautiful sunrises. No issues parking or accessing the rental. We loved walking on the deserted beach. Most of the time we had it all to ourselves. great proximity to several other beaches and activities. This was a fantastic place for us to stay with our kids (14, 11, 8) while adventuring on Kauai. We aren’t beach people, so having access to a pool was a priority. Being able to see/hear the ocean right from the condo was lovely. It was clean, well organized and offered all of the creature comforts we needed. The ocean breeze kept us cool enough, even without AC. The beds were a bit firm for my husband’s liking, but didn’t bother me a bit. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo itself was super stocked with any essential you could need. The decorations were conducive to a tropical vacation get away. The problems that we had which management could assist with were promptly fixed. The Internet router went out and they were very quick to come and replace it. However the bathroom to the unit was terribly smelly, I couldn’t find the source of the smell- I thought it was the toilet plunger bc when I was searching for the smell I discovered toilet paper all over the plunger, but when it was removed the smell remained. I ended up buying a candle and just lighting it every morning bc the smell was so strong you could smell it throughout the condo as the heat increased through the day. We spent 1 day witbout any water bc someone had hit a fire hydrant which took all the water pressure to the entire faciity. Then towards the end of the trip the pool was closed due to maintenance.

Wow what an amazing spectacular stay for our trip! I cannot recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a reasonably priced beautiful place to stay, PICK THIS ONE!!! We came the first week of June and it was GORGEOUS! The flowers were blooming all over the property that you can see walking from the parking lot, to the view from the back deck! Speaking of view, what an insane picturesque backdrop to walk out to every morning! It’s set back in the condos so you have shade from the other buildings but a perfect view straight out to the ocean. Great place to sit for breakfast with a decent sized table and chair, and 2 comfortable lounge chairs. The inside is quaint and very on theme for a tropical vacation! No A/C, but wasn’t a huge problem for us there were multiple fans in each room and the windows let in the cool ocean breeze. The beach right next to the condos connects all the way down to a great beach called Lydgate, and you can access it with a beautiful walk down the beach or the sidewalk path! Cute pool with a grill, and another grill out front by the parking lot. Everyone was super friendly and not loud at night. Can’t think of anything I’d want to change or needed changed about this place. Overall this property made our stay so much better and I highly recommend it!
