We had a wonderful stay at Kahalani! This condo was well stocked inside and out! Comfy beds, plenty of linens, all of the beach accessories we needed including a nice cooler, boogie board, toys, chairs. It’s the little things that this host nails, like having ziploc bags, foil, more than just the basic spices, plenty of delicious coffee, nice detergent and well working in unit laundry. Plenty of fans, although we never felt too hot here. Very pleasant stay. We loved the proximity to the beach. The beach in front of Kahalani felt safe for our 7 & 3 year olds to enjoy with us, but the body surfing was really fun for the adults. And, bonus, we had the beach to ourselves. It’s a great location for people that like to enjoy the North and South Shores without having such long drives to either! We will be back!

We stayed in the condo in August 2023. The condo is specious, very well stocked with all of the necessities. The owner is nice and responsive and wants his guests to have the best experience. The beds are big and comfy. The location is unbeatable - few minutes to the beautiful calm beach where you can swim with fish. We had a wonderful time, Thank you!

Perfect location for a family vacation. Right next to Lydgate beach park which is great for kids and the amazing Kamalani playground. Just a few minutes away from grocery store/ restaurants. Super easy check in and check out process. Nice private unit on the end with very little foot traffic. Very spacious for 3 adults and 2 kids. Our kids loved the murphy bunk bed! It was really nice to have a full size washing machine and dryer in the unit, especially when you have little kids. The full size kitchen was stocked with the essential appliances, dishes, etc. Lots of beach gear in the closet for us to use which was really great! We would definitely stay here again.

The property was perfect. We enjoyed walking down to the ocean to watch the sun rise with my cup of coffee every morning. The kids enjoyed the protected beach for snorkeling just a short walk away. The kitchen was better stocked than any VRBO I have ever stayed in. Thank you!

Property / location is great. Nice pool area, on site BBQ’s are a bonus. Cooking supplies provided were good. Our unit was extremely outdated, not very clean. Washing machine was mouldy and smelled badly. Many aspects not as advertised: Beach chairs (built for children) were both broken so we had to rent, there was one cooler which was mouldy and the zipper rusted out so it was unusable- we had to buy, beach umbrella was broken -we went without. Outdoor patio furniture badly rusted- ruined 2 shirts our first night. Bathrooms did not have dispensers as advertised, instead there were random almost-empty bottles under the sink. No dish clothes in unit. No parking pass provided. We would stay in the building again if we could get a different unit- many beautiful units on site, unfortunately ours was not one of them.

Perfect centralized location to stay. We stayed for 8 days and we were able to explore the entire island with no more than a beautiful 90 minute drive to anywhere we went. This condo is quiet being located at the edge of the property. It isn't quite ocean view other than a small circle in the bushes, but it is a very simple 2 minute walk to the ocean front where you can find many comfortable drift wood logs to sit on, there's a picnic bench as well. The walking trail is perfect for early morning adventures and with a fun play area in each direction its a great way for the kids and parents to start their day. We had everything we needed here including laundry, cooking utensils, beach supplies, and a bunk bed for the kids. The only thing we didn't have was much for handsoap, but we were prepared for that. Would love to come back and stay here again. Thanks so much!

Nice cozy spot steps from the beach and great snorkeling. My only complaint, I reached out to the property manager once and never heard anything back. I was just letting them know we were delayed a couple days, but a response seemed appropriate.

As with all the islands, be prepared for the around-the-clock rooster crowing--they have no sense of time! We could never find chairs at the pool, but the close beach access was a better option for our stay.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The property is next to the ocean, rooms are big and clean, the kitchen is full of stuff and spices. The host is very polite and was answering my questions within a few minutes. The place is near the Kapaa shopping square, 9 minutes from the airport. The condo at the end of the complex, so it was nice and quiet. It is between North and South and thus very convenient. Great place! Mahalo!

Wonderful location, spacious. The bedrooms do get very hot - thankful for the fans provided for each room. The kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils and pots and pans etc. The unit was very clean. We loved all the beach supplies in the closet! Came in handy for sure.

This was a great rental for our stay in Kauai. The location was perfect, pretty quiet, and very close to the ocean and also the path that leads to Lydgate Beach. Beautiful surrounding property. The pool onsite was also really nice. Had everything we needed pretty much.

4 adults stayed for a week over Nee Years. It was a nice location about half way to the north or south and 60 meters from the ocean. There is a nice walking path to use that does get you up to some small shops if you’re ok with walking the 3mi round trip. Having beach supplies (towels, chairs, cooler, boogie boards) available was great. The only down side was there weren’t a full set of wine or champagne glasses (assuming they’ve been broken), no paper towels or pool/beach friendly cups but basic cooking supplies were perfect (oil, spices coffee, creamer etc).

The location of the property is perfect for a vacation. It is close to the beach where you can enjoy sunrise and quiet time listening to the sound of waves. The agent is very responsive and checkin and checkout information is crystal clear. The house is pretty clean and daily supplies are provided. I will recommend this house to my friends. We enjoyed our stay and will come back if we ever visit Kauai again. Thank you, Scott.

The apartment was perfect for us. Two rooms, two baths, stocked kitchen. Steps away from the beach, easy to drive to any part of the island.
Better than all of that though was Scott's great hosting. We ran into some trouble with a cancelled flight and Scott went above and beyond helping accommodate our changes. Can't thank him enough.

Our family enjoyed our stay here and all that it offered. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean and it was perfect for our family to have multiple beds and bathrooms and a master room. So glad it had a washer and dryer which we used multiple times due to the amount of times we swam or hiked and we loved that there were boards to use and other beach necessities. When we were all worn out, it was a comfortable and relaxing space to sit either out on the patio or in the living room. We were not used to the hot humidity being from Utah but this place was fairly cool with the unit being in the shade and the nice cool breeze. Our kids also loved the pool, and we loved the nice Weber BBQ which we cooked on multiple times. All around perfect place to stay!

Very nice apartment in an amazing condo. Central position to explore basically all the island. Fully equipped from the kitchen to the beach supplies you may need. Very functional and with laundry and dryer in the apartment!

No air conditioner but trust me you really don’t need it on Kauai! We enjoy the island and our stay in that property!
