The condo has everything we needed. Extra spices and food prep items was much appreciated. The beds and pillows were the coziest of our different stays in Hawaii. Lots of room to get a quiet moment from family. The pool was super close for convenience but never loud. The Mauna Lani beach club was a quick drive. Get there early for a parking space. We walked to the resort to see the sea turtles being released on the 4th of July. Rode bikes around the resort area and walked along the shoreline by the Fairmont Orchid. If you’re looking for a place to stay, this place is fantastic. We totally felt at home and had pretty much everything we needed. The interior is very updated and the garage has all kinds of beach toys and gear. We enjoyed having a washer and dryer to clean our clothes after a long day playing at the beach or traveling the island. Anytime I had a question I could call support which was super helpful. We loved this place so much. We will definitely be back.

This is our 3rd time staying here on the Big Island (total of 6 party, with an additional 4 of my family staying in another unit) in Mauna Lani, with this trip being the 2nd time in Fairways. The Big Island is our favorite island and all of the amenities that this unit and the resort in general has were perfect. We did have one issue with the parking and charging of a golf cart that our family rented for the duration of our trip. The Fairways Homeowners Association site manager was quite animated in that we can only park one vehicle (either our rental car or the golf cart) in one of the parking spots. There were many open parking spots daily—we were not preventing anyone from parking. The golf cart rental company (Kohala Beach Buggies) was very surprised that this happened given the long record of them renting to guests at the Fairways. The site manager was rude and intrusive during our stay (at one point he drove his golf cart to the rear private patio of our unit during an early morning breakfast and approached my wife [dressed only in her nightgown], elderly mother in law, and myself, but, thankfully, our hosts that manage the unit quickly and effectively intervened and corrected the situation. They really knocked it out of the park with how they handled the situation—kudos to them. This situation could’ve derailed our trip a bit but thanks to them all was well.

We enjoyed our stay in the Fairways at Mauna Lani condo. It’s well appointed with everything you need from beach chairs to bedding. We had a wonderful vacation here. Having access to the beach club and pool was fantastic. You can’t find a better beach on the island. If you have to opportunity to stay in this community I would not miss out. This condo in particular is very comfortable. My husband and I stayed here with our adult children. There is a grocery store, restaurants, and shopping near by within a few minutes. It was hard to leave this lively place.

We had a wonderful stay, the kitchen was fully equipt with everything we needed. It was spacious and accommodated 2 families and three adult children. There were 7 of us in total. Lots of beach chairs, towels, snorkel sets and boogie boards, even coolers! We would definitely like to visit there again! The pool was very close to the room, you could see part of it from the patio. The beaches were fantastic, especially the black sand beach on the property for snorkeling!

We loved this unit so much! Great location within the complex, lanai is very private and we enjoyed our coffee every morning outside. The extras in the garage were also great. We used the bikes, and got good use out of the boogie boards and beach wagon. Access to the Mauna Lani beach club nearby is fantastic. The only two issues we could state was there were no black out curtains in master. Hard to sleep past 5 am when it is so bright. The second bedroom was too hot. The air did not circulate well. But the place is beautiful and clean. We would still stay again.

Our family of four spent 9 nights here and absolutely loved it! The property is beautiful and lived up to the photos. The garage has all the typical beach accessories you could need and more. Was pleasantly surprised to even find some footballs that we could toss on the beach. They also provide great beach towels to use. As others have commented, the Beach Club access is a huge benefit - it’s a less than 10 min drive from the house to the beach parking lot which is access controlled by a key card so parking there was never a problem (we usually got to the beach by 10ish). The beach was great for snorkeling and just enjoying yourself. We went multiple times and found it was never super crowded but it does pick up as the day goes on; highly recommend visiting late afternoon too. Sunset from the walking path on either side of the beach was gorgeous. The pool at the resort complex was also great and about a 3 min walk from the house. There is a Foodland grocery store that is about a 5 min drive from the house which had a good selection of most anything we needed. We signed up for the Foodland reward program ahead of time and it added up to significant discounts so I would definitely recommend doing that.We did the luau at the Fairmont Orchid (5 stars for that as well) which was also about 5 min away so it was very convenient (it is walkable if you are motivated and want to work off a big dinner). The drive to Volcano National Park was about 2 hours but is totally worth it.

Everything we could have asked for and more! This was the perfect location to cheer on my husband during the Ironman triathlon. Our two teens had their own beds to sleep in, my parents had their own room as well. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could prepare, cook or grill all of our food, and we enjoyed sitting outside each night watching the sunset. Having access to a pool and a private beach was amazing. The home was impeccably clean and Jan has thought of everything you could possibly need. If you have a family member participating in next year’s Ironman, this is the ideal location for proximity and comfort. We loved staying here. Highly recommend!

Thank you for the privilege of our stay so we could celebrate our 2 sons and their accomplishments of graduation. The condo was wonderful! Everything was perfect! Comfortable for us all. We cooked many meals, bbq on the lani, swam in the pool that’s just steps out the back, we went snorkeling at the beach club, hiked to a black sand beach, nighttime manta ray snorkel, saw waterfalls, volcanoes, learned lots of Hawaiian history and visited lots of historical places and landmarks. So much yummy food (Lava lava beach club, Fish and the Hog, Hawaiian doughnuts, shaved ice) and so much more. The condo truly felt like home away from home, so thoughtfully furnished and stocked for your comfort and convenience. We stopped at Costco and stocked up on food we needed for the week but so many little things like spices and condiments were provided and if there was anything we didn’t have we were able to grab at a nearby store. Sadly our stay of 9 days went way too fast and we had to say goodbye but our amazing memories will be forever!Thank you again for making our stay so enjoyable we hope to be back sooner than later.

The condo complex is conveniently located to Kona but also things we wanted to do more north such as Waimea, Hawi, and beaches above Kona area. Access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club was the best! Loved the little market nearby. The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with kitchen, laundry, and beach essentials. My kids had so much fun with the boogie boards provided. We appreciated the cooler and beach chairs and that we never ran out of basics like toilet paper, soaps, and paper towels like we've experienced at other rentals. Wonderful place to relax in the morning on the patios, as well as after a long day of activities. Beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, comfortable furnishings and beds with quality linens. The townhome in the Fairways development was comfortable with a large pool. We enjoyed the owner’s beach which had decent snorkeling and is next to a large fish pond with some cool large fish and nesting birds. The house has chairs, umbrellas snorkel gear and a cooler for beach days.Other beaches are also close to this location. We went to the Fairmont Orchid Hotel beach one day and enjoyed a more catered day at the beach which is fun too. We were two couples and had plenty of privacy and tranquility.

Our family had a great vacation staying here. The location was perfect and the property itself was also great. This was probably the best stocked vacation rental we have ever stayed at, from the kitchen utensils/bakeware/food to beach towels to all the beach and pool accessories and toys you could need. This was our third stay in the Mauna Lani area and this condo was perfect for our group of four. The condo is centrally located (close to pool area and shopping center), clean, and well stocked. The teenagers in our group enjoyed the freedom of the available bikes and we used the beach gear every day. The outdoor areas are private and very peaceful. We very much appreciated the well stocked game cabinet and local books and recommendations. The owners were very communicative and easy to work with. We’ll be back for round 4!
