This condo was perfect. Beach front with spectacular views from the balcony and could hear the waves crashing. Top floor and at end of the building felt secluded and was excellent, no noise from any side. We'll equipped condo with everything we needed for cooking meals, left overs. Price was fair. Location was great. Pool and workout facilities. Canoe rentals and mini mart store on property. The public beach right there is great for snorkeling around the lava rocks early morning before the surf kicks up. Seen a lot of marine life including moray eel, turtles, and 4 days out of 7 with a visit from a monk seal. Great place and host.

Very clean rooms, pool, grounds. Well run. One of the few places without a road between you and a spectacular beach. 2nd time staying in this building. We had 1 issue with a missing partition /pull out wall to divide the room into 2 bedrooms, but it was eventually addressed. We will return here if we come to Maui again. Highly recommend this place.

This is a beautiful property right on the beach, with easy access to Kihei and Wailea. We loved it, and for the location it is a fantastic value. The views from the balcony were amazing, the beach was great for swimming, sunning, snorkeling (we saw many turtles, fish, and a manta ray), and paddle boarding. There is a shop for renting gear on site, as well as a very convenient general store. The unit itself was perfect, with a nicely stocked kitchen. Clean and comfortable, plenty of beach towels, with a closet full of beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkels, etc.). My family also enjoyed the pool and the sunsets from the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

View was great Room in front of elevator was noisy. If close main door noise not bad. Front door to A room had hard rub on floor to open.. No toilet paper in bathroom had to buy some for both rooms. Lights in front room ceiling didn't work. Liked the area and beach would try again.

The unobstructed ocean view was amazing from one bedroom and the lanai was delightful. This unit needs serious TLC. It is very used, somewhat dirty, and overall not very comfortable. I would have thought it would be really nice for the price.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Rod and Julia's place. The view is great and the atmosphere on the beach and the grassy area just outside the building was nice. Families hanging out, people enjoying a day at the beach, someone playing guitar. The apartment is nice and was just what we needed. We did not cook in the kitchen but seems like they have what you need. Our kids loved hanging out in the couch on the balcony. Tracy who manages the place was nice and easy to communicate with. They were flexible with checkout, which we really appreciated. A downside that we were not aware of, is the noise level in the apartment. My husband was planning to work and have meetings in the mornings, while the kids and I slept in the bedroom. In the pictures, the bedroom has a door, but what you don't realize is that above the door is just open space - no wall or window. Meaning any sounds from the living room just carried right into the bedroom. Another thing to be aware of is that they have a rule that you cannot apply sunscreen when you are in the apartment, as it can stain the furniture. A challenge if you wanna apply sunscreen before you leave the house. Just FYI for future guests.

The view was phenomenal, I don’t think you could ask for a better location to stay in South Maui. Keawakapu is one of our favorite beaches. We didn’t have great weather but still enjoyed our time. The condo is spacious and was very convenient for our family with 4 small kids.

Perfect beach front condo with a beautiful view. Two completely separate bedroom suites that can be independently rented, sililar to two adjoining hotel rooms. Primary unit has a full kitchen. Second suite has a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. It's not for those looking for a Four Season's luxury vacation but being adjacent to Wailea comes with all the amenities.

We had the most incredible stay at Mana Kai 402—truly the best condo experience in Maui! Waking up to the sound of the ocean waves and enjoying coffee on the lanai was pure paradise. On our very first morning, we were lucky enough to spot a whale right from the lanai—such an unforgettable, magical moment.Not only does this condo have the best view in the building, but I would argue it’s the best on the whole island—absolutely breathtaking from every angle.The condo itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly decorated. The location is unbeatable with amazing snorkeling just steps away—where we even saw sea turtles!John and Sara were wonderful hosts. They made everything seamless and welcoming from start to finish.We’re already dreaming about our next trip back. This place is truly something special—highly recommend!

It wasn't the typical Maui vacation due to the Kona storm that affected the island but the staff and the owner were very responsive and helpful. The owner always replied to my messages as we dealt with storm issues. We never lost power and had good Internet while we sheltered inside. If it had been typical Maui weather it has a gorgeous view and nice beach/grounds to relax on. We did see whales breeching from the lanai.

This unit is a “standard” unit at Mana Kai, which means it hasn’t been renovated. Everything in the unit is functional, and the appliances are newer. It is just tired now and shows some wear and tear in most areas, which is the only thing keeping it from a full rating. We were welcomed with a tropical arrangement, which was very nice. The closet is well stocked with beach needs- chairs, boards, coolers etc.Basic needs such as paper goods towels etc are fine for at least a weeks stay. Coffee machine takes both ground and pods. The lanai is very nice and has great view. The bed is a king and is very comfortable; the pillows are meh.This is a very well run property, the grounds and building are well kept. There was some construction going on on the roof and the restaurant, which was closed. While busyness starts early here, around 7am, due to the beach rental store and public access to the beach right next to the property, it does quiet down at night by sunset. Beach access is very easy, and it is of course busier nearer to the property than if you walk down further. The location is nice, as it is south of the busy part of kihei and pretty close to Wailea.We would stay here again but probably seek out a renovated unit, which are more expensive.
