Nice property with great views and wonderful beach access. Kitchen was outfitted well, and the unit generally had what would be expected. Beach chairs could use some upgrading (zippers were rusted on a couple), and a beach umbrella woould also have been nice, but not a deal breaker. Furniture in living room was okay, but seemed like it could use an updating. Good location, with great access to both Kihea and Wailea. All in all, a great place to stay, and would strongly consider returning on our next trip to Maui.

This condo was absolutely perfect in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautifully renovated it was — everything felt brand new with top-of-the-line finishes and a bright, modern feel. But what truly sets this place apart is the view. The balcony overlooks the ocean with an unobstructed view that’s simply breathtaking. Watching the sunset each evening — whether from the balcony or down by the pool — felt like something out of a postcard.Gary was a wonderful host — responsive, welcoming, and clearly takes great pride in the property. You can tell he’s thought of everything to make guests feel at home. This was easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in Maui, and we’re already planning to return. Highly, highly recommend!

Wonderful condo, perfect location with amazing view of ocean. Condo complex is perfectly situated on the beach with pool and spacious lawn area for lounging. Chaise lounges available for lawn area and beach chair & umbrella, SUP, life jackets, snorkeling gear & more available to rent (condo had 4 beach chairs & an umbrella already. Beds were super comfortable (pull out couch was not amazing but are they ever?!) beach towels also provided.

Nothing compares to this view for the money! We've been vacating at the Mana Kai for about 40 years. It's magical..Had a problem getting the A/C to go on..at times it worked intermittently.. the sensor didn't trigger when the sliding glass doors were closed.. Called the property manager and offices were closed. They sent a text the next day saying I needed to close sliders.. Hopefully someone adjusted the sensors. Also, we've been waiting for 4 years for the new restaurant and bar to open.. no work was done while we were there in Oct..Monkeypod said the "Ocean House" will open in February.. fingers crossed.. The 808 General Store is great for salads and daily food specials.. Also, Tracy at the activity booth knows her stuff and has many connections.. She directed us to the Kihei Luau, sunset catamaran cruise and Maui Ocean Center aquarium at Maalaea Harbor.. Which was so cool.. even for adults.

The view is absolutely incredible, there aren't words to describe what it's like in-person. The unit was as photographed and described, equipped with plenty of towels, beach chairs, and an umbrella, allowing us to start our vacation immediately. Igor and Claudia were very kind, allowing us to check-in early and even offering to reimburse us for a small purchase if there was something we needed for the unit and stay.

Thjis was a great condo, location is one of the best in Kihei as the complex is right on the beach (not across from it), and has one of the most beautiful beaches and snorkeling in the islands. This unit is a bit dated, but everything worked just fine. The main room is not air conditioned, but has excellent cross ventilation and stayed cool thru the stay. The private bedroom has a window AC unit.we will definately come back.

When you walk into this space, you won't believe that you are not in a post card. The view is so much more incredible than the pictures. The beach is steps away and is great for snorkeling. We saw turtles here several times. The pool is lovely and was our evening relaxation each day. Just don't forget to get the daily code! The beds are comfortable and towels thick and soft. This place has everything you need and even some you didn't know you needed. The closet is stocked with gear for snorkeling, beach play and relaxation. There are books about sites to visit and restaurants as well as binoculars for gazing into the ocean. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Erik was a pleasure to work with and very quick to respond. I can't say enough about this space and am so grateful to have had the privilege to stay here. Girls trip of a lifetime! Thank you

The view of Keawakapu Beach from this condo is amazing! The condo was clean, kitchen was stocked with spices, dishes, cooking utensils, cook/bakeware, cleaning supplies, etc. The beds were comfortable with soft sheets and lots of pillows, linens/towels were fresh/clean, and extra blankets and bedding was provided for the pull out couch. The condo is steps away from Keawakapu beach and a few minutes drive fromdowntown Kihei. The morning walks and evening moonlight strolls are amazing on the soft sand! The condo had a few snorkeling masks, 3 beach chairs, pool noodle, cooler bags, beach umbrella, and various other beach items in the closet. You can also rent kayaks, boogie boards, and snorkel equipment downstairs. Snorkeling is awesome in front of the Mana Kai, especially in the morning before the winds pick up and the pool is the perfect temp, cleaned every night and wasn’t crowded the whole week we were there. We had a few minor things that needed attention in the condo, and the property manager, Scott, immediately called us back and fixed the items that needed attention within hours. The Mana Kai staff and security were all super friendly and helpful, and we loved the house kitties who “patrolled” the grounds and welcomed guests back from their daily outings! The onsite 808 General Store is great to have onsite for any items you may need, forgot or a late night ice cream from the local creamery!

Mana Kai is a beautiful property with a front row location on the most beautiful beach, so close you can almost feel the crashing of the waves. As a couple, we used only the front bedroom and the bed was super comfy. Plenty of everything for our stay and we so appreciated the starter kit (with coffee!) when we arrived. We didn't need to use the sofa bed so can't attest to that, but the sofa's lifespan may have been exceeded, according to my other half who said it was uncomfortable. There were a few maintenance issues to be addressed (missing handle on screen exposing sharp screws, toilet in 203A wasn't flushing without assistance, no TV in 203B, etc.) but for the most part small inconveniences easily overlooked for the beauty of the location and comfort of this unit. A couple of recommendations: a bigger TV for 203A and some lanai chair cushions like those shown in the photos. Of note: We noticed some locals bring their 5 little dogs early every morning to do their doo on the public lawn, so be sure not to lay directly on the grass, folks. Gross.

The condo was very accessible and clean. The communications from the owner were extremely helpful, eliminating all the stress of arrival, understanding the resort amenities and locating good dining nearby. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the resort. The pool was cleaned daily as was the lobby and the lawn area. Our view of the ocean from our balcony was gorgeous with a beautiful sand beach for long walks. Beach rentals on site and the general store were very nice to have.

The location was exceptional and delivered amazing views throughout the day. The beachfront area is the best swimming and snorkeling location we found in the area. The bed was very comfortable, the AC did a great job keeping the place cool, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. My only complaint is the "starter" supply of toilet paper was a single roll even with two bathrooms. So do bring your own tp!

This place is fantastic! Amazing view, right on the beach, great kitchen amenities and everything you need for the beach - chairs, umbrella, cooler, even snorkeling equipment. There were nice upscale touches throughout the unit. My husband and 2 teens were with me and we fit fine. It was really nice having 2 bathrooms. Jude was extremely responsive when we had questions. I definitely plan to stay here again.

10/10 would recommend! Best condo at the Mana Kai hands down.The 402 is stunning with front row seats to gorgeous shades of blue ocean waves, palm trees, and pristine beaches for miles to feast your eyes for days! The condo is clean with top notch amenities and unique design. Photos really do no justice to what you truly experience. John and Sara are excellent hosts, which is a huge plus. We had such a fantastic first time in Maui and would definitely return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home:)

Amazing view, clean & check in was easy. The staff are friendly & the beach access was perfect. The unit is stocked extras - beach towels, beach umbrella, beach chairs, travel Maui books - all which were much appreciated. I would definitely come & stay again & would recommend.Laundry is not in the unit, but easily accessible just out the door. Some noise in the master due to proximity to the elevator.

Lots of great places to eat near by. Enjoyed mornings and late evenings on the balcony with that beautiful view and sounds of the ocean. Would 100% stay here again. Already missing it.

We had a wonderful stay at Mana Kai. The oceanfront views and waking up to sound of waves was amazing. The pictures are no exaggeration. John & Sara were super responsive and welcoming. Location in Kihei made it easy to travel upcountry to Wailea and to Kapalua. Kitchen had everything we needed and the welcome basket was wonderful. Perfect for our family of 4. The unit itself is fully updated and felt like staying in a beautiful hotel suite. Look forward to coming again.

First the good: the location cannot be any better. Mana Kai is right on Maui’s top beaches. Second, unit actually looks better in life than the pictures show. It was clean and the bedding was clean as were the towels . Now for the bad: 1.) there’s no place to sit there’s a desk and it only has one chair, if you want to eat anything you have to sit on the floor or the bed. 2) no parking- it says dedicated parking space but that’s a lie, once you sign up and pay your email will say that you’re parking on a gravel lot. Which also serves as public parking for the beach. So you’re out of luck on parking if it’s a busy beach day. We had to walk with all of our belongings. 3) there was no internet, it said in the instructions that there’s WiFi but the described WiFi network was not available. Our door code unexpectedly stopped working on the first day at night but I do have to give credit to the rental company we called their after hours service and got an actual human on the phone who was able to reset the code for us. The price is the cheapest you’ll find at Mana Kai but keep in mind this unit faces the back parking lot only. It’s an ok basic place if you’re not wanting a dedicated parking space or internet. You will be right on the beach.

I was disappointed that there was no yoga or restaurant the days we stayed there. Also, the furniture in the living room was not large enough for four people and also the furniture was uncomfortable. The front desk staff seemed annoyed with any questions we had. Lastly, in the future, I would suggest that it be listed that rentals for snorkeling gear and such is an extra charge. Otherwise the view was nice and the unit was clean.

Mana Kai Maui is an excellent resort for families who want to be close to a safe accessible beach and love nature and views. II do miss the restaurant and bar downstairs which was so convenient. For fourty years we have enjoyed this location and the suite was lovely and as promised.

Absolute paradise. An incredible, luxury condo with an unbeatable view. The unit is extremely well kept and well decorated. The "hideaway" TV by the one bed is a cool touch as is the extra large shower in the master bath. The employees of the resort were very nice and helpful. The "lawn" area between the pool and the beach is an awesome place to lay out in the Hawaiian sun on very comfortable chairs and seconds away from the pool or ocean. It was just my wife and I so this was perfect for us. If you're bringing kids, just be aware, you might be on high alert not wanting them to break anything and cause more stress. Simply amazing place and hope to stay here again!

Beautiful property! The unit had everything we needed for the week, was clean, and had amazing views. The location on the island was perfect - close to what we needed quickly, but not in the hustle and bustle of Kihei. Short drives to Haelakala and other destinations around Maui. Beautiful beach and grassy area at the property. We even swam with sea turtles right by the property! We happened to be there during the tsunami warning - luckily we had friends in Maui that took us in during the evacuation - but we never heard from the property manager about what to do. The tsunami ended up not being a threat after all and we were able to return to the unit, but it would have been nice to hear from Coldwell Banker about the precautions in the area.

This home is absolutely gorgeous and the hosts John and Sara are amazing! The minute you walk in you can see the crystal clear, tourquoise ocean and beautiful sandy beach, through the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. Two of my favorite things were sitting out on the lanai and going to sleep on the very comfortable pillow top mattress. The furnishings are modern and comfortable, and everything was nice and clean. We enjoyed being located close to the nice restaurants of Wailea and all the shopping we wanted in Kihei. We will be coming back again and I would highly recommend this home to all of my friends and family.

Overall, we had a nice stay at the Mana Kai. You can’t beat the location right on Keawakapu beach and don’t even get me started on the sunsets! The pool, chairs to use on the grass and other accommodations around were great.This particular condo does seem to need some attention and small updates are needed. We traveled with my 15 month old granddaughter and wouldn’t say that this condo is kid friendly. Between the big heavy doors, glass tables and carpet that needs some attention it was hard to let her wander. We did find an unused cigarette underneath the main bed in the living room, used ZYN pouches under the bed in the private bedroom as well as empty water bottles. There is a mold like substance on the bathroom door going into the bathroom off the living room. The knife drawer is also way too accessible for small kids. Not ideal for having a 15month old crawling around. It’s unfortunate you pay such a big cleaning fee to feel like unsanitary things could have been taken care of.
