This small condo was perfect for us. We loved our water view. While the constant sounds of waves seemed loud at first, we quickly adapted to it and found it to be soothing. Highly recommend visiting Waimea Canyon for its spectacular views. The Kauai National Tropical Botanic Garden tour, while pricey, was fabulous and a highlight for us. Nearby Lyndgate Park was a lovely beach with opportunities for protected swimming but also had access to the open ocean. It was not nearly as crowded as Poipu Beach and had some shade opportunities.

Spectacular ocean views on this 2nd floor unit. We stayed with 2 teens and 1 used the pullout and Candace was nice enough to send an air mattress for the other. Kitchen fully stocked, pans, plates and a few spices, oils. Beds were comfy. Pool was great. Access to beach, shopping and bakery near by. All within walking distance. This is a well loved unit and can use some new carpet and repairs to the sliding glass doors, but the view made it all worth it. Road noise in front bedroom might be an issue for some, but was fine for us as we live in a big city. Value of this condo would bring us back again.

We had a wonderful week long stay. The property is nicely maintained. The owners provided clear directions regarding access to the property. We never heard from the property manager about a car tag, but never had any issues with parking there. Overall, we would go back in a minute! It is in a nice location that is central to the entire island and allowed us to visit all over and come back to the "middle" area so that each day didn't end on an extended drive back. Plus there is a beach there for your own use or if you drive a mile, there is a park with an entire area for swimming for kids and adults which is protected from the ocean waves. Overall, amazing.

The condo home was clean, comfortable, and organized. The kitchen and bathroom were complete with everything we needed for our trip. The complex itself was nice and quiet. Best of all, the ocean view was amazing! The sunrises were gorgeous and made our stay extra special. Also loved that it was walking distance to the Coconut Marketplace. We went to their farmers’ market on a Thursday and were able to mingle with the locals and buy fresh fruits! Thank you for such a great stay.

Loacation was great view was 2/3 great and 1/3 hiway. JESSE, the property manager was great and a wealth of information including the derelict Coco Palms across the street.
The unit was OK. Kitchen was marginal, in need of a remodel. The counter top was cracked and repaired with tape the toaster would not work, the top of the fridge was filthy and rusted. Pool isn't heated..too cold for grandkids.
All things considered we would stay there again but in a different unit away from the road.

The place was perfectly located just south of the center of Kapaa. The apartment was clean and had a great view of the ocean. The only downside is if you are on the lenai, there is a old broken down building to your right which is a bit of an eye sore. The building is also off a main road, so it can be a little loud at night time and early in the morning.

Great view from the balcony for having coffee and breakfast every morning watching fisherman trying their luck as wellnas the chickens and roosters. One morning we witnessed a fisherman catch a small shark. Had nice sunsets also at the end of the day. Property was central to the north shore and south shore so where ever we decided to go it was easily done with short drives. My wife's 50th birthday week was a great success.

This 1st floor condo was a wonderful home away from home for our week long honeymoon! We sat out on the lanai overlooking the ocean every morning. In truth, we spent very little time during daylight hours in the unit, and it was adequate for our needs. The location is convenient for both south and north side island activities whether it is Waimea Canyon hiking or Hanalei Bay / Na Pali Coast surfing, snorkeling or exploring. Grocery stores are close and you can walk to the Coconut Market.
The unit is well equipped for basic needs. One of the Tommy Bahama beach chairs was broken beyond repair so we hand to purchase a replacement. The unit is only air ci destined by a portable unit in the bedroom and the e rest of the unit gets very stuffy during the day. But the bedroom unit cools the sleeping area adequately well for comfortable sleeping.
It looks like the carpets, paint and furnishings have not been replaced for more than a decade but are comfortable and for the little time we spent in the unit (mostly watching Netflix after dark) was just fine.
The best part of the unit is the view the value.
For value and convenience we would consider staying here again!

The owners were very on top of things when we had a few minor issues. The location is very close to some outstanding restaurants, a local grocery and drug store, and coffee shops and gift stores. The Island is small, so navigating it and going to amazing sights is very doable. I can still see and hear the sound of the ocean at night when I go to sleep.

This was our 3rd time renting this specific unit at WBV Condos. Steve and Tina have literally thought of EVERYTHING to make their place 100% equipped for the perfect stay.
Every single thing I went looking for: specific items in the kitchen, coolers to take to the beach/on road trips, an umbrella for an unexpected rain shower that would have soaked us on our way to dinner, beach towels, travel cups for drinks, boogie boards, the printer for printing boarding passes (I know, I'm old!) and a couple things for work... even a great book to read for my partner... it's ALL there.
I can't say enough great things about this place, and the way it's been set up to GUARANTEE that guests want for nothing. There is not a single thing I needed that I didn't find.
To save some $$ I did more cooking on this 3rd trip, and honestly, I was astonished at how well appointed the kitchen was with fresh gourmet spices, oils, etc. I was able to make 3 incredible meals and not have to buy all those expensive items that I could never use up in an 8 day stay. I really appreciated that.
This is a great place for couples. Quiet, comfortable and that view!! You feel like you are alone there, hardly ever seeing people in front of your unit. The beach is lightly used by local fisherman, and water sports enthusiasts. It's paradise!
This trip I was so excited to watch sea turtles swimming in the ocean right below our lanai! That was probably THE highlight for me.

The beachfront location of this condo is great for watching the waves. Perfect location makes it easy to get to anywhere on the island. One drawback of the location of this condo was the road that was close and very busy and loud day and night. Check in and check out process was very quick and easy. I had noticed other reviews saying that the screen door was broken, unfortunately it was still broken for our visit. One of the beach chairs and a chair on the lanai was also broken. The condo was very clean but needs some attention and updating. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. The pool was very cold, even on a hot day. Overall a great condo for the price.

In general, the condo is "tired" and very dark. Even something simple as painting over the scratched door would have helped the overall aesthetics. Kitchen & bathroom cabinets are dark, furnishings are dark, poor lighting throughout except the bathroom.
Theoretically the condo can accommodate 4 individuals. There was one towel rack that could barely hold towels for 2 and there were only 2 dining chairs.
Dishware and utensils in the kitchen cabinets were unimpressive. One cabinet door refused to stay closed so you needed to be careful not to hit your head on the door.
There was a throw cover over the sofa that made one wonder how dirty it might have been beneath; maybe it was supposed to keep the sofa clean, but it gave me a different impression.
We could not find a telephone in the condo as mentioned in the description.
Although it is probably beyond the owner's control, there is a very noisy rooster who crows even before sunrise and throughout dinnertime.
By far this is not a terrible place, just not impressive in any good way. The photos looked much better. I probably would not stay here again. I just got the feeling that the owners were not very interested in making the condo a comfortable, vacation stay for the clients.

The A/C in the bedroom was a plus, and the washer and dryer in the unit was really handy! Kitchen was stocked with basic cookware, and it was nice to have a dishwasher as well. The unit needs maintenance. The floor tile in front of the refrigerator was taped down with clear, packing tape.
Other areas of the kitchen tile were peeling up. My partner got a bloody toe from stubbing her toe on peeled up tile. Shame on the management company for not fixing this.
You would not describe the carpet has clean.
Kitchen was minimally equipped. No baking pan, not even a small 5 x 7 size. And not even a paring knife for the kitchen. And 1 steak knife. But there were a couple larger knives of good quality.
Plenty of silverware.
A couple of nice beach chairs, and a nice small cooler for going to the beach.
Refrigerator was newer with a great icemaker.
Overall, this could be a great unit if the owner and managers were willing to step up their maintenance.

The property is in need up updates. The bathroom is much like a sauna- poor ventilation and an old fan. Thank goodness the bedroom had a separate unit- as the air flow/circulation in the condo is poor. When the front door is open it has a nice natural ventilation, but you can’t leave the front door open.
Patio leaves little privacy which is ironic as the walls on the sides are great, but guests above each other hear everything! And the pictures do not show that the Kuhlio highway is your view. Be warned, although the surf does help drown out the noise you will see the oncoming lights and traffic.
Location is perfect access to all parts of the island.

The condo location is great and so is the view from the lanai. The condo’s furniture is old and very dated. The kitchen is also old and dated. The bed was uncomfortable.

This was me and my husband's first trip to Kauai. I enjoyed this location because it was in a location that made it easy to go exploring and any direction. And the beachfront with the wonderfullanai made relaxing after a long day of exploring easy. The condo was large, well stocked, clean, and had a washer and dryer.

This property was fine. Definitely much older than the pictures suggest. But we were fine with that. Honestly the only deal breaker for us was we assumed since it was right on the water we would have a good ocean breeze and for some reason, with the way it’s situated, you can feel any breeze at all!! Like even on the balcony the air is stagnant. The temperature inside was stifling and made sitting in the living room miserable even with fans. The bedroom has an ac unit for sleeping which saved us. I honestly wouldn’t have made it without that. This property was fine but I wouldn’t stay there again. I understand not all condos have AC on the island and that’s fine, but this property is just too hot to be comfortable. Otherwise……it was okay.

1) Because this unit only has A/C in the bedroom, being able to have fresh air circulate through the rest of the place is essential. The front door louvers don't open, problem
2) The toilet emits a screeching sound & needs servicing.
3) The couch & chair in the living area need total replacement
4) The beach umbrella on the porch is broken, useless

The condo was well-equipped for a Hawaii vacation! Beach towels, toys, and plenty of necessities. Although hot at times, the AC caught up after a couple hours of turning on. The only hiccup is the bed and the dresser. Very close together and we both hit our ankles and feet when walking in front of the bed. We still very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this condo for a couple! Mahalo!!

We have stayed at 5 other apartments in this building over the years and they were all nice , but this one is exceptional. The owners maintain everything to a high standard and it is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean . The bed is very comfortable, it is very well equipped and has everything you could possibly need . Communication with the owners was extremely quick and easy . The location is perfect for visiting all areas of the island , and walking distance to lots of restaurants and amenities . I hope to visit and stay here again in the future . I would 100% highly recommended this lovely apartment .

My partner and I had a blast during our stay checking out multiple spots all around the island and the rental was great base camp for our day trips. The beach provided a beautiful view for morning coffee from the balcony and walks during the evening. Looking forward to returning!

We stayed here for about 10 days, and it was absolutely wonderful. The condo was clean, updated, stocked with all the basics, and very comfortable.
The view from the balcony was incredible. We didn't want to leave to go home.
It was just a short walk to the beach, and close to lots of restaurants and shops.
Check-in and out was easy, and communication with the host was great. I'd definitely recommend this space, and would stay here again in the future.

This property was absolutely remarkable. It was exactly as described in the descriptions and exactly what we needed for our vacation. The view and the sound of the crashing waves from the deck cannot be beat. We saw a school of dolphins and a few sea turtles right from the deck. Bring binoculars if you want a close up look.
The basic kitchen extras are all provided like sandwich bags, saran wrap, etc. (which you don't find in other places). Didn't use the range or other small appliances, but the fridge is nice and big. Having the air conditioners was a massive life saver inside the condo. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. I'm always nervous about what kind of sleep I'll get with the unknown. The nice big TV's (2) were great for late night shows or the news. But specifically for the channel that tells you all about the island and things you can do/see. Plenty of towels for showers, etc. Plus the W/D are an added bonus if you do run out.
The laminated notes and labels were very helpful with instructions on things or where to find stuff.
The onsite pool was very well kept and super convenient (noodles provided at condo). We took advantage of the provided snorkel gear, beach chairs and umbrella and went over to Lydgate Beach.
Across the street from the condo is Passion Bakery Cafe which has outstanding Malasadas. There is an ABC store down the road to grab anything.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay again.

The place is as advertised. The view is fantastic and the A/C in the bedroom is a must. The location is great for being centralized in Kauai. Close to restraunts, the beach and fun activities. The only small downside is the large amount of road noise. Great place overall though

We enjoyed our stay in Kauai very much. Overall the condo was good bargain and location. However a few things were not as perceived on the website photos and information. The view as shown was great of the beach and water from in the living room until you stepped onto the balcony your view was of a burned out abandoned building just below balcony level. OK that's not horrible and yet it was not as shown. A bigger deal for us was the lack of A/C in the entire condo? There was only a large noisy A/C stand alone unit in the bedroom which didn't come close to providing us with the cool temps we would have liked in the living room, kitchen, bathroom. We were told to open the balcony doors and enjoy the trade winds??? Hmmm, trade winds gave us alot of warm/hot humidity in the condo vs a comfortable temp. They did provide multiple fans which did help alittle. Condo was very comfortable as rental for 10 days and we liked the location alot since it is mid island and gave us easy access north or south. Next trip we will look for a different place mostly because of the A/C. I suppose if we were locals we would get used to it as was mentioned to us by a person from housekeeping. We chose to enjoy our good fortune to be in Kauai and not s literally sweat the small stuff. I think the owner could do better on the website info based on my past experience as rental owner of condos in Florida for many years.

This property is located on the water offering beautiful views and sounds of the ocean. The property is centrally located near shopping and restaurants. Nice pool and BBQ area. The lanai is amazing! We will be coming back here soon.
