Great sunrise beach view. Many good restaurants within close walking distance. Coconut marketplace. Good central location to many fun island activities and hikes. Only downside I would say is the traffic noise with the bedroom facing out to the main highway. Loved having the ice chest, beach chairs, etc. for use during our adventures.

The condo was wonderful. We spent our nights and mornings on the lanai listening to the ocean. The house can get a little hot but we let the ocean breeze flow through the house which helped, it really didn't bother us at all. The air conditioning unit worked wonderful in the bedroom, we had no issues keeping cool. The unit was newly remodeled and beautiful. Plenty of parking onsite. We have zero complaints about our stay, we would stay there again.

The view was amazing. Location was good for access to most things we wanted to do. Maintenance man was great, responded quickly. Very clean, but could use some updating. It's hot in September, so not having AC in the living area was challenging, but AC in the bedroom was very good,quick to cool down.

Great place, amazing views! Clean and in a good location to visit various parts of the island. Great remodel. Lydgate park is a 5 min drive and was great for our 2 year old (sectioned off beach, wood playground!). AC in the bedroom made sleep easy. AC is limited to the bedroom, however. Thanks for the stay!

Such a beautiful condo. First floor is plus because the building does not have an elevator. Pool and BBQ area was very lovely. Plenty of tables with umbrellas. Condo had a lovely updated kitchen and bath w/ new shower. We would rent again. We actually wish we had stayed longer.Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo. Mahalo

Place looks just like the pictures! There is AC in the bedroom if you leave the door open, It will sort of cool off the living area as well, which was nice because it was a little warmer than usual the week we were here with a high humidity!I don’t think for the price you could beat the location or the amenities. Owner was always responsive and if we come back, we’d stay here again. Had some great amenities even beach chairs, which we didn’t need, but it’s great to see them there. Nice cooking pots and pans not the cheapies which also was a great touch.

WOW! This place is underrated. The most perfect condo to use as your base for a trip to Kauai! We loved the deck and ocean view - enjoying coffee in the mornings and using the binoculars to see dolphins and other wildlife from the comfort of our balcony. The condo has everything you need - bed was comfortable and everything was super clean. This is a slice of paradise!! We had a blast. Excellent location with easy access to all Kauai has to offer.

We really only need a place to sleep, thankfully.The VRBO ad states the location has AC, and in fact does. However, it’s not going to reach the bedroom. They ask not to use the AC if possible, because it’s expensive. When you do use it, you have to empty the tote of water run off, every AM to prevent it from over filling onto the balcony. This is where issues start. We had to open the windows, to have some air flow. The traffic outside is loud, racing cars, sirens & so on. There clearly is a septic plant very near and the waffling odors of that don’t allow the bedroom windows to be open.We moved the mattress to sleep in the living room. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. We layered the mattress with pillows to sleep on. But at least we didn’t have to smell poo and we could get cool on the warm nights.They ask not to leave more than two loads of laundry for the keeper. The bedding alone would be two loads honestly, if they are washing the mattress cover and comforter every time ( ohh I hope they are) We were here for 7 days, of course there is going to be more then 2 loads with beach towels, bath towels and the amenities of doing our own. Now we had to do their laundry also. The grounds are beautiful, clean and welcoming. The beach is quiet, and the rental does offer chairs to bring down to the lawn or beach, so that was awesome. The pool was clean and absolutely amazing every evening. The grill by the pool was great and we used it. It was clean, almost brand new.

I give this wonderful condo an A on the two most important items to us - kitchen and bed. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to make great meals which saved us a lot of money. The bed was super comfortable between the mattress, extra pillows and blankets. Overall, the condo and the owners were everything we could ask and more - very carefree and easy experience. We'd definitely stay here again!

5 Stars for an unbeatable sea view!We preferred to make our own meals to stay on budget. It was nice to have a well equiped kitchen with very nice appliances. A Safeway grocery & Longs pharmacy are a quick drive & had what we needed. We appreciated the washer/dryer, too. Especially since we only wanted to pack carry on bags for the 9 day trip. The condo is updated/renovated to a very good standard. The decor' is nicely done. We struggled with heat and humidity. (The heat index was 95/96 when we were there.) The ceiling fans helped some. We were definitely grateful for the air conditioner in the bedroom where we could cool down.The host responded promptly when we had a question. The location is perfectly central on the island for sight seeing and day trip activities, as well as close to the airport. Overall is was a wonderful visit to Kauai!

The condo was perfect for us. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Passion Bakery across the street is a must if you are staying in this condo. Also Lava Lava which is also walking distance was a fun place to hang out for cocktails. We didn’t eat but the food looked very good. The bed was very comfortable and the room air conditioner in the bedroom for at night was awesome. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

This place was perfect for our honeymoon! The moment we walked in we heard the ocean and it was magical. The view from our balcony was perfection. Great location as we didn't want to get a rental car, nicely equipped, it is convenient to restaurants and breweries, a short uber to major stores and airport. This place is 2 minor upgrades from being PERFECT! I did get a little warm in the living room so an AC in the living room and remove the tree (as pretty as it is) it blocks an incredible view from the sofa.

Loved the view and sound of waves breaking on the beach. Slept on sofa bed in living room (remarkably comfortable) to be able to sleep with that in the background. Great condo with all the necessities and then some. The view from this condo is fantastic. We made good use of the beach chairs, and the beach umbrella was a huge plus. You can easily walk to multiple restaurants and shops. Central location means everything on the island is within an hour. The kitchen is well appointed with more appliances and tools than I expected. I'd definitely stay again if I go to Kauai again.

Wonderful location and stocked appropriately. The only thing I would change is adding air conditioning to the main room or a much better fan. It got very hot during the day even with all the windows open fully. Cross breeze was ineffective on several days. The AC in the bedroom was amazing! Otherwise, I would not change a thing. Quite complex, pool was nice as well.

Location, location, location!Complex is located just a quick stroll from the Coconut Marketplace. The grocery there has most things you need, and there are pre-packaged sandwiches to grab for the beach. If you want to do your own cooking, there's a Safeway Store across the road, which has everything. And BONUS, 2 of our favorite restaurants on the island are just past the Safeway: JO2, which has wonderful local food, is prepared by a skilled chef-owner, I believe. It is upscale dining, but if you go to Happy Hour, it's a real bargain, considering the quality of the food. (Don't miss the tempura green beans!)The other special dining spot is Aina Kauai, which is VERY fine dining, with special fare from another chef-owner. We like to sit at the counter, so we can speak with Chef Mitch, whose delicately-crafted Japanese menu is adventurous and exotic-- and everything is just delicious. I'm not big on raw fish, but I'll eat everything he puts in front of me. Worth the splurge.As for the condo, it has AC in the bedroom, which is VITAL for a good night's sleep. The mattress is nice, and the views are great. Oh, if you want a fun breakfast or lunch spot, just walk along the beach path to the Lava Lava Beach Club! Dine right on the beach -- don't feed the chickens, tho. We never had time to use the lovely pool, but it's just steps from your door. The Hawaiian music on the radio when we arrived fit the moment perfectly, and we left it on for our entire stay.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. This is a great place to stay for those mindful of their budget. Its location is perfect, 30 minutes to Poipu, 30 minutes to tunnels beach. Kids really enjoyed the pool and collecting seashells on the beach. Some had complained of the sliding glass door, but it sounded like the other units sliding doors were in the same shape as ours. Viewing the sunrise on the beach is breathtaking. I’d stay here again, no question.

This is our second stay at this amazing condo! We love ground floor location and close proximity to parking lot and very close to the pool! From the moment you walk through the front door your breath is taken away! Beautiful ocean view! We cooked in the condo more this time because you can’t beat the view from the lanai! You can hear the ocean and feel the breeze throughout the entire condo. It’s a short walk to the Coconut Marketplace and several great restaurants. Very highly recommend this gem! We will be back for sure!

Very nice, well maintained, roomy kitchen and living area. Nice balcony, nice views. Bathroom and bedroom are also ample. Nice snorkeling equipment and other beach items also stocked. The apt and the building overall are older, I'm guessing 20 to 25 years old or more, so the countertops, kitchen cabinets and appliances all look antiquated, but again all is in good condition. A/C works well in the bedroom but since it is so old, it is loud, klunky,takes up too much space, and probably costs the admin a fortune in electricity every month, it's also not strong enough to cool the entire condo so you might find yourself with a cold bedroom and a warm muggy living room. The living room is carpeted, which I'm not a fan of, but it was clean. The beach had way more driftwood and stuff on it than appears in the original pictures I saw, so the beach didn't appear to be as "attractive" in person as it was in the pictures. And there is some road noise from the 4 lane highway right next door to the property, though I have to admit in spite of there being 4 lanes, the road noise wasn't that bad, and you don't notice it that much as the waves are constant 24/7 from the nearby beach. However there is also a run down structure next door that looks like it's literally falling apart, and it's not apparent that anything is being done to remove the eyesore. However, to be fair, the building might not belong to WBV thus they may not be in a position to address it effectively. I'd stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. We loved being right on the ocean with the pool right out the back door. We saw spinner dolphins one morning from our lanai. The condo was clean and we loved the location. If your looking for view and location and cleanliness this is the place to stay. If your looking for lavish and top of the line you would be disappointed but luckily that's not us so this was perfect. I definitely can see us staying here again if someday we make it back to Kauai.
