The good: spectacular views of the ocean, very private, everything in good condition, lots of kitchen gadgets and dishes, supplies provided by the host and previous guests, quiet pool with mostly adults. Great experience working with the host.The less good: AC was 2 window units and noisy, especially in the bedroom, and had difficulty keeping the place cool. The waves drowned out the traffic noise on the balcony, but not at the pool or common areas.Overall: excellent value if you are OK with some AC noise and traffic noise.

We loved our stay! Very clean! And the view from the back porch is lovely- we sat on the porch each morning for breakfast and just enjoyed listening to the waves. The property is also a short walk from the Coconut Market.

this is right on the beach and the view is stunning!
They have everything you need to enjoy the water and the beach including snorkel gear, chairs, towels etc.
we had baby and momma chics visit us every morning.

Amazing unit exactly as advertised! Hosts are extremely communicative and made everything as smooth as possible. The lanai is beautiful and we looked forward to sitting outside with our coffee every morning and a drink each evening. The location is central to many restaurants and great recommendations from the host and it is also relatively central to the rest of the island. The unit is also stocked with beach towels, chairs and umbrellas which were very useful as well. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Location was so convenient to everything. North shore was a short day trip, even with sight-seeing sidetracks. South shore was even closer. Condo was clean, comfy, and well-equipped. We loved sitting out on the lanai and watching the ocean, wind surfers, and kite surfers. The pool was fabulous, and we often had the whole thing to ourselves.Roosters do crow all night, but are hardly noticeable with the AC on. Owners also considerately left ear plugs next to the bed! We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing beach view and unbeatable location. The place comes with beach chairs and umbrella which were so useful. Couldn’t ask for more. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and even allowed a late checkout for a small fee. Would recommend to everyone!

Convenient location. Very clean and well equipped. Anything you could want for the beach or the kitchen. Only thing lacking was a cocktail shaker. Hard to find on Kauai, for some reason. But found one at Walmart in Lahui. Problem solved! Left it there for future guests. Absolutely loved sitting on the lanai looking at the amazing view while having breakfast and planning our days.Shayne had lots of good recommendations for places to eat and things to see and do.

Lovely place, the Ocean view is outstanding. Really nice being able to use screen doors to Ocean and sleep to the sound of the waves. Bed was extremely comfortable. Lots of enminities, but micowave is not intuitive.Walking distance to Kintaro (excellent Japanese restaurant), and Passion Bakery (quite known for their Malasadas - Portuguese doughnuts), and several other eateries. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Our stay in Kauai was absolutely amazing! The condo was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The views were incredible, and the location was perfect — close enough to explore the island while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. We especially loved that there were restaurants and shopping within walking distance, which made everything so convenient. The property was well-maintained, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. Waking up each morning to the beautiful scenery was unforgettable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hawaii!

This property is exactly as described. The location is the perfect midway point for visitors exploring all sides of the island. The bakery across the street is also nice to visit in the mornings. The property is quiet and relaxing. The view from the balcony is spectacular.I read several reviews regarding the air conditioning and noise, but we had no issue with either.

Nice East side location. Very nice views. While its not far from the main road, you don't hear traffic over the ocean. Close to nice walking path along the ocean. Washer & dryer in the unit. The minor downsides are that its showing its age and the AC in the bedroom is a window AC style unit that is pretty loud. Overall a very good bang for the buck location- especially with the view.

Amazing view and close to a lot of fun things, including restaurants and beach clubs. There was a portable air conditioner in the bedroom that was a life saver. Be careful if u close the slider to patio, it will lock u out. Luckily my wife was inside lol. The pool was great and rarely had anyone using it. Bbq's were very nice for Happy hour and dinner.

Great view. Very well kept place. Really appreciate the host recommendations of what to possibly do on the island. This really helped us plan our activities which were great. Communication was stress free with host. Even though we did not use them having snorkel gear available if needed was appreciated. We ended up doing a snorkel "cruise". Excellent stay, from easy check in to check out. This condo is quite with excellent views. Bonus was the bathrooms with soaps & hair products. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities for cooking including spices. The location is central to both the north & south sides of the island. This is our 3rd time staying at Wialua Bay View and we love it there. Great access to different parts of the island, grocery and other shopping, and wonderful surf views and sounds! Being on the 3rd floor meant quiet neighbors but be prepared for a non-stop wave soundscape! The apartment met all of our needs and was nicely appointed with kitchen necessities and beach basics. It’s also convenient to have the outdoor grill option for home-prepared meals. The pool is warm and provided a nice relaxing break in the evening.Passion Cafe across the street has delicious breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Napali Brewery was also a nice walkable dinner and drink option with good live music.

This location worked great for exploring different parts of the island, and having such a beautiful view was very special. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and even some extra items that came in very handy, like ice packs for our cooler. There is some traffic noise in the bedroom, if you’re sensitive to that. Overall, we had a great stay and we’d recommend!

We loved the condo. The view was amazing and the location was outstanding. We arrived not feeling well and spent more time in the condo than anticipated; I can’t imagine a better place to recuperate!!! The supplies were ample, the kitchen appliances were relatively new and excellent, and the counters and sink strategically placed for cooking and cleaning with a view. Great tv options. And the outdoor seating was perfect. Extremely clean and comfortable. I read numerous reviews prior to booking this condo and can easily dismiss some comments. There were no homeless people only families and surfers enjoying the neighboring beach. They were fun to watch as they surfed and enjoyed the water. One had to crane your neck to see the abandoned building next door; it did not attract visitors. And the constant sound of the surf and beauty kept one’s attention focused in that direction…not on neighboring roads. This condo unit is so much closer to the ocean/bay than other accommodations and offers expansive views!! We are definitely returning!

This property is ideal for your stay on Kaua’i! Perfect location, for easy travel to the north and south part of the island. Shayne was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The condo was immaculate. It was exactly as pictured and listed on VRBO! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need and more to make meals in the condo. We loved waking up every morning to the beautiful beach & ocean view! I think the view is better in person than the picture online. It’s a perfect way to relax on the lanai. Very easy access to the beach. Beach chairs, towels, and beach toys were provided for us to use. We loved the week we spent there and were sad to go! We will definitely be back. Everything was great, only one issue. Headboard needs to be mounted to the wall or to the bed frame. Every time you roll over it makes a banging sound. Other than that, amazing views and amazing time. Pool is great, location was perfect. Great times.
