Perfect location & spectacular views! Self check-in was so easy and welcomed after a long day of traveling. We spent a lot of time on the lanai just taking in the ocean air and enjoying the views. The air conditioning in the bedroom was great for sleeping and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We had a wonderful time in Kauai and are so thankful we stayed in this condo unit. Thank you Shayne for being a wonderful host! Mahalo!

overall Clean and updated. The location is central so that is great for seeing other areas of the Island.Issues with both living room and bedroom AC units. The living room unit never blew cool air during our stay. Bedroom unit was slightly better but got very warm at night. We resorted to opening patio door and windows to catch breeze and that with the ceiling fans made it more comfortable. Tried texting mgmt company about the AC but never got a reply

The unit is advertised as being air conditioned. In reality only the bedroom has a stand-alone AC. The kitchen / living room was 83 degrees when we arrived at 3:30. The patio was 100 degrees (yes I have thermometer pictures). Uninhabitable and a vacation killer. Thankfully the Mgmt Company allowed us to cancel so we could scramble for a livable accommodation. (thank you!). But not how we planned to spend day 1 of vacation. Beware.

The condo view was breathtaking. Air conditioning did not work. When we contacted the property manager we were told the air conditioning had stopped with the last renter and maintenance was unable to fix it before our stay. One of the main reasons I chose this rental property was because it had air conditioning. Opening the balcony door and windows brought a breeze through the condo that made it a little better. We used a fan in the bedroom to help move the air as well. The condo was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciate the snacks and toiletry items that were provided.Acquiring the parking pass was a bit confusing. There is no one in the office on duty so I had to contact management to get directions on getting the parking pass. The short walk to the beach takes you down a sidewalk by the street and the old Seashell Restaurant. I found the history for this building fascinating.Our condo balcony was my happy place. It was a lovely stay despite no air conditioning.

Easily one of our favorite vrbo’s ever! This condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 4, with plenty of space in the common areas and the lanai to relax on in the morning and evenings. Two king beds and two bathrooms was perfect! The views were incredible. You are close to the pool and beach, without having to hear all the noise. This area is convenient to both the north and south areas. I would most definitely stay here again when we return to Kauai. Thank you for sharing your rental with us!

The condo is very clean and well appointed with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. The view from the lanai is fantastic. The AC in the bedroom works well. The ocean breezes cool down the living areas of the condo at night. The location is excellent, just 5 miles from Lihue airport. The central location on the east side of Kauai makes it easy to visit the north and south sides of the island. Shayne covered everything we needed to know in an email. His suggestions on places to visit, where to eat and drink, and notes about the condo were very helpful and much appreciated.

This property needs some major renovation and repairs. There are scratches on all of the walls and the balcony is barely useable. The table is dirty and broken down. The kitchen is the best room in the property. The air conditioning can only be used in the evening and provides only modest cooling in the bedroom. We did stop by to ask if we could drop off our luggage early and the cleaning person that we encountered was very rude. The best feature of the property is the view of the ocean and beach.

This is a perfect property! It's centrally located between all of the activities you'd want to do on Kauai. It's freshly renovated and super clean. The hosts had snorkel equipment, chairs, a beach umbrella and towels....which made a beach vacation super easy! 10 out of 10.

This property is as advertised.My wife mentioned she thought it had the best ocean view of any of the condos & I agree.Ac in bedroom was really helpful.Several fans in Living room help also.It was also really nice when you went up stairs, condo was straight ahead, didn't have to go left or right.Plus being on 2nd floor you get above hedges on 1st floor for a great view.There's a superb bakery 1/2 block away called Passion bakery Cafe.Also coconut market place for shopping is only less than 1/2 mile away. My wife got several things from there.It is decorated super cute.Title sea shore hideaway is perfect titleHaving a washer & dryer was really helpful especially staying for 11 days.Scott & Regina are super host.Marvis on site manager is very personable.Definitely recommend this condo.

Spectacular View and location is ideal for walking to shopping and restaurants. The lanai was excellent location to enjoy the ocean waves and views. The bed mattress was the primary negative as it was not comfortable and needs replacing ASAP. If this issue was corrected the rental would be a ten star. Million dollar view with a motel 6 bed…also towel service is offered for additional 35 fee. Be sure to press firmly down on lid of washer to get it to lid lock and operate the washer. The additional amenities of the beach chairs and umbrellas with coolers was a very nice touch. Kitchen is fully stocked with all you need for cooking. No road noise is heard from this location so that’s another excellent feature.

Overall the property was great. Wonderful views and quiet. Every night we were able to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves. We would recommend updating the showerhead, as it is pretty old and squeals loudly the entire time you are showering. We did have an issue with the washer lid where it wouldn't lock so it had to be held down in order to run a load of laundry. We notified maintenance, but they weren't able to get someone out to fix it - I wish they could have as it was pretty inconvenient. They did offer to let us use another unit's machine.

The property was exactly as the photos show. Very nicely remodeled. Convenient location. Easy to access the main road around the island from the condo. There is no immediate access to the beach, but there are access paths a short walk away. The views are stunning. Our only complaint would be that the air conditioner unit in the bedroom is noisy. There are ceiling fans and the ocean breeze is delightful.

I write long reviews because I like READING other long reviews--if you are into a short review, this is EXACTLY as advertised; no surprises; squeaky clean and very comfortable. Now, for the longer review: We've stayed along the Coconut Coast multiple times--this is a great location for going just about anyware. Most of the alternative ocean-front options are hotel rooms with mini-fridges and microwaves--this is a real condo with a REAL kitchen. Once we figured out that the sidewalk was actually the beach-front bike/walking path, we realized how easy it was to get to the other beaches. If you are into sunsets, this is the wrong side of the island, but spectacular sunrises can be had with a short walk toward the bay. Note the A/C only cools the bedroom (I think the listing says that) and the host has the most incredible welcome-note with great directions. If you are even a moderate walker, plenty of restaurants. Only negative I can think of is the Paradise Bakery directly across from the parking lot--the malasada are absolutely addictive, so be prepared to walk off the calories--and the line forms early. Great experience overall!

We stayed here during our visit to Kauai and I recommend the stayThe communication was mostly good. Pre booking and during the stay. There were minimal delay in response. Checking in was mostly fine. The property was good. The views were amazing. The apartment had washer dryer microwave TV etc. Overall a family must be happy here Just note The apartment did not have elevator in case you have leg pain make a note but then I think first floor so it's okay The slight odd thing I observed was floors seemed a bit sticky.Overall not a luxurious property but then a decent one with a great beach view Price point I think it was okay tooOverall good.

This condo was perfect for our Kauai trip. The view is stunning and we were able to see turtles almost every day. The location is also great for many activities like going to a Luau, kayaking to Secret Falls, and is also walking distance to the Coconut Market Place. Host was very responsive, making the check in and out process really easy. Room looked exactly like in the photos. But I wish the sofa bed was thick and that the attachments were not rusted. So whoever stays on the sofa bed may be a little uncomfortable, but everything else was clean and lovely. Also appreciated that the unit we were staying in has a washer and dryer for my clothes! You get a great view of the ocean and a visit from the local chickens which makes for a lively time.

An absolutely fantastic experience!Communications from the host were very specific concerning parking and check in. They also were very responsive to text messaging concerning check-in.The condo was adorable and very clean. The mobile AC units in the condo worked great as well. The one thing that we were concerned about before getting to the condo were the views from previous reviews of the area. Some of the photos made it look like the beach was either very dark or just not very inviting, but some others were beautiful. We found out when we got there, having never been to Kauai, is that the weather changes rather quickly that on the island but the vast majority of the time it was absolutely beautiful. The views were outstanding, especially in the morningswe would absolutely 100% stay here again and I would highly recommend it.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Wailua Bay View condo! The view out on the lanai was amazing, I enjoyed my coffee out there every morning. We did notice mosquitos at night, so bug spray is a great addition to bring. The location was great, it was at the halfway mark to the north shore and the south shore, with only about 10 minutes to the airport. Communication with the host was excellent, they answered my questions quickly. We would absolutely stay here again!

This condo was amazing!! Everything was perfect from the decorations, the view, the location and the bed was extremely comfy. I slept great every night. Highly recommend. There is a marketplace within walking distance that we used frequently. Restaurants, shops and a market with food made fresh to order. Farmers market was there on Thursday and some entertainment- check the schedule for Coconut Marketplace activities. Enjoy!

The good: spectacular views of the ocean, very private, everything in good condition, lots of kitchen gadgets and dishes, supplies provided by the host and previous guests, quiet pool with mostly adults. Great experience working with the host.The less good: AC was 2 window units and noisy, especially in the bedroom, and had difficulty keeping the place cool. The waves drowned out the traffic noise on the balcony, but not at the pool or common areas.Overall: excellent value if you are OK with some AC noise and traffic noise.

Amazing unit exactly as advertised! Hosts are extremely communicative and made everything as smooth as possible. The lanai is beautiful and we looked forward to sitting outside with our coffee every morning and a drink each evening. The location is central to many restaurants and great recommendations from the host and it is also relatively central to the rest of the island. The unit is also stocked with beach towels, chairs and umbrellas which were very useful as well. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Location was so convenient to everything. North shore was a short day trip, even with sight-seeing sidetracks. South shore was even closer. Condo was clean, comfy, and well-equipped. We loved sitting out on the lanai and watching the ocean, wind surfers, and kite surfers. The pool was fabulous, and we often had the whole thing to ourselves.Roosters do crow all night, but are hardly noticeable with the AC on. Owners also considerately left ear plugs next to the bed! We will definitely stay here again.

Convenient location. Very clean and well equipped. Anything you could want for the beach or the kitchen. Only thing lacking was a cocktail shaker. Hard to find on Kauai, for some reason. But found one at Walmart in Lahui. Problem solved! Left it there for future guests. Absolutely loved sitting on the lanai looking at the amazing view while having breakfast and planning our days.Shayne had lots of good recommendations for places to eat and things to see and do.

Lovely place, the Ocean view is outstanding. Really nice being able to use screen doors to Ocean and sleep to the sound of the waves. Bed was extremely comfortable. Lots of enminities, but micowave is not intuitive.Walking distance to Kintaro (excellent Japanese restaurant), and Passion Bakery (quite known for their Malasadas - Portuguese doughnuts), and several other eateries. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
