After a very rough check in experience the stay was enjoyable. Host did not share the key with us so we had to rent out another hotel until host responded. Kitchen utensils and house amenities are basic but proximity to the activities, bay and ocean views from the balcony are amazing!

The location was terrific and the view from our lanai outstanding. The property was very comfortable and extras (beach chairs, cooler, towels, fan) made it so convenient and enjoyable.
Highly recommend. We will be back with a longer stay next time.

Great location, looking out on the beach. Great views of the sunrise.
The unit needs maintenance. The floor tile in front of the refrigerator was taped down with clear, packing tape.
Other areas of the kitchen tile were peeling up. My partner got a bloody toe from stubbing her toe on peeled up tile. Shame on the management company for not fixing this.
You would not describe the carpet has clean.
Kitchen was minimally equipped. No baking pan, not even a small 5 x 7 size. And not even a paring knife for the kitchen. And 1 steak knife. But there were a couple larger knives of good quality.
Plenty of silverware.
A couple of nice beach chairs, and a nice small cooler for going to the beach.
Refrigerator was newer with a great icemaker.
Overall, this could be a great unit if the owner and managers were willing to step up their maintenance.

This property is located on the water offering beautiful views and sounds of the ocean. The property is centrally located near shopping and restaurants. Nice pool and BBQ area. The lanai is amazing! We will be coming back here soon.

The location is halfway to anywhere on Kauai, which made travel on the island easy. It is close to Lihue Airport. You will find that you can relax at Wailua bay beach which is just behind the condos within walking distance, as well. We enjoyed the pool so much and our beautiful bay view from the balcony. The property is well kept. We thank our owners Luke and Kristi for their hospitality. Enjoy your stay at Wailua Bayview, Aloha!

Great location with fantastic views. Lots of space for two people. Beach and snorkelling equipment kindly supplied and appreciated. A bit of highway noise for those sensitive to it, otherwise good base to access the island from.

Ocean facing 2nd floor unit was perfect for our stay. Refreshing sea breezes flow right through the place, making lounging and sleeping quite comfortable. Never even considered using the bedroom A/C unit. Would happily return to this spot. Even the roosters here were respectfully quieter than elsewhere on the island ;). On site manager was friendly and helpful. Let me know if Mark ever needs a fill-in or replacement - would be a great retirement gig :)

I loved my stay at this property. All aspects of the rental process were straightforward without any challenges. The unit itself is fantastic. The porch and view of the ocean are just what was depicted and desired. The location is conveniently situated to embrace all the island has to offer. My only recommendation would be to replace the very old showerhead. A thirty-dollar fix for a chorded high-pressure shower head would be welcomed after a long day of sun and fun. I am hoping to return for another visit! Thank you!

This 1bd 1 ba home is absolutely beautiful with breathing ocean views. The home is in a perfect location close to shops, groceries stores, dinning & there's a gas station right across the street. Check out Passions Backery thats also across the street.
The home has everything you'll need to cook with including a coffee maker, crock pot, & a blinder.
The owners answering all my messages quickly. The grounds keeper was friendly & helpful with recommendations.
The 1 & only con is, the home does not have central AC. BUT, there is AC in the bedroom.
We enjoyed our time here & would stay again.

The property is on the second floor which meant that IF anyone walked by, they could not look into your condo. And i only saw the manager and one couple walk by there as it is a narrow path of grass between the building and the ocean. It was fabulous! I could listen to the ocean all night and look at the stars. Or you could choose to sleep in the bedroom which was extremely quiet and dark. Perfect for sleeping. I personally prefer the sound of the ocean and the sight of the night sky. You could walk to dozens of fabulous restaurants - any variety you choose. I'd definitely recommend Passion Bakery across the street in the morning. Not only fresh made, also plenty of breakfast and lunch choices. The condo was very comfortable, had everything i needed and more. I liked that the couch had a cover that was clean and fresh. Clearly it gets washed after every guest. And having a washer and r=dryer with all the sweating from the heat was a definite plus. I highly recommend this place. I'd return here again! And there are 2 beach options within minutes of the condo. And a length of beach for walks. Parking is included. The facility manager was very helpful. No hesitation recommending this!

The place was simple but very clean and comfortable. Gorgeous views from the deck, great beach just steps away from our room. Host was great to work with. Furnishings are simple, but both the bed and couch were very comfortable, and the room met all our needs. AC keeps the bedroom nice and cool at night.

The Good: Beautiful view from the lanai, nice TV. Unfortunately the location is Not a very nice area: there was road construction and traffic jams the whole time. Not the condo owner's fault, but did not care for the area too busy and loud. Hard to sleep at night. Has a swimming pool in the middle of the parking lot. Hardly anyone uses it. Would not stay there again. although The VRBO contact was very nice & responsive during the rental process no disclosure about road construction going on.

We booked this place last minute when our previously plans fell through, and we wished our stay could’ve been longer. You can’t get a better view for a better price. There were a lot of nice restaurant and shopping options within walking distance. The property had everything we needed and more. My only minor complaint is the pillows were not very comfortable and there weren’t any extra blankets, but that’s a minor sacrifice for how great everything else is.

This was the perfect place for our Kauai vacation. The view was amazing from the balcony. Living room was comfortable for relaxing, though you will need to crank the air conditioning up in the bedroom to make it comfortable temperature wise.
Bed and pillows were very comfortable, just right to my personal taste.
The kitchen was well appointed with all you need to make meals, but be aware the floor is repaired with clear packing tape for some reason and they prefer you not wear shoes in the apartment. That was a bit strange but workable. Did not detract from our stay.
Excellent value, great place, would totally stay again, highly recommended.

Great central location for easy access to north and south areas of island. Clean unit, can hear waves right out below you about 50 feet away. View is all ocean and some coastline.
Beach equipment like umbrella, chair, lots of snorkeling gear, towels provided.
Great spot, daughter and I were stoked with our 4 day visit. Plenty of parking.

The condo is very nice! It’s a bit dated with tile countertops and a very weird kitchen sink that need to be greatly updated and upgraded. All the appliances are wonderful. The evening sunsets are simply amazing from the lanai! Pool is directly across from the condo and has superb gas grills. Hole 3 is located directly behind and it is fun to watch as golfers come thru on this water guarded mid length par 3. Overall it is a wonderful place it just needs to be updated to 2022 from the 90s as far as the kitchen and the gold trim bathrooms. Definitely worth the stay. The KTA store is right around the corner perhaps a 3 minute drive at most. You might get a little sticker shock at the prices there but there is a Farmland store about 12 minutes away. They carry Parker Ramch beef which is grown here on the island. It is the best and the prices are very reasonable for that. We had a wonderful week here and will stay again. Once again the SUNSETS are pure art every evening.

This condo is definitely older and dated, but it was clean and had great a beautiful view of the ocean. It is located only about 10 min away from the airport. The office manager was always so helpful and answered all questions asked. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our time at Wailua Bay View. It was so cozy and perfect for us. We loved the view of the bay and the pool. It's central location makes it convenient to the north and south. Only issue we encountered was the traffic in this area at times but overall we highly recommend a stay here. We would definitely come back again. Thanks for the chairs, snorkel gear and cooler. They were very helpful!

We had a very nice stay in the condo. It is very clean and indeed just in front of the ocean. Location is very convenient to go up North as well as the see the South. We had no issues with appliances. Air conditioning in the bedroom was sufficient to enable comfortable sleep. Simple check in and parking onsite. Just in front of gas station with some shopping opportunity.

Enjoyed the stay once we got in and settled. The location was great and convenient to every part of the island. The down part was. The complex does not have an elevator and the condo had 1 a/c unit and its in the bedroom. This complex is not handicap accessible and was very hard for 2 senior ladies to drag luggage up stairs. The listing needs to mention this.

Pros:
Central island location, which is great for exploring all Kauai has to offer; you will need a car. Complex is clean and quiet. The pool is a nice option. Bedroom stays cool with AC and the bed is comfortable. The beach supplies are a thoughtful touch and appreciated.
Cons:
If you want a place where you can hang out at the beach, this is not it. The complex is nice, but the surrounding area is not. There is an abandoned building on the corner that has become a drug hangout. (My daughter was hit up 4 times in one afternoon.) There is what appears to be a homeless camp there and in some of the rocks below the balconies. The place doesn't seem dangerous, just not nice for hanging out at the beach.
The kitchen has some basics (dishes, pots/pans, knives, cutlery) but missing others such as measuring cups and scissors. There is also a leak in the fridge that creates a puddle in one of the drawers and on the bottom, about which the host never responded.
Overall... the place was okay, but I would not stay there again.

If you were closer to the ocean you would be in it! Great view and nice accommodations. Good location with easy walking to the beach, restaurants and shops. Being on the East side is great because you have the ability to check out either side of the island everyday.
Luke, really makes the whole process from checking in through check out very easy. We took his and his wife’s advice on their snorkeling recommendation and we saw some Sea turtles.

We had a great time staying in this condo. The view is amazing and the complex is very nice and quiet. We had the pool to ourselves most days, otherwise there would be maybe 2-4 others. There plenty of restaurants and a shopping center within walking distance as well. Two thumbs up.

This VRBO was in a great location. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy after a long day of travel! The view from the balcony for every sunrise was amazing! The location was great as it provided us a central location to drive to many of the sites we wanted to see in the few days we had to spend on this island. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed and the view of the ocean was stunning. Also nice that we could walk the beach just aa few steps from our front door. My daughter and I LOVED this home!! The location was close to the airport and the beaches were just a few minutes to walk to and were our favorite on the entire island!
The home was immaculate and has everything you need to feel at home. Parking was easy and we were always able to park close.
The pool was clean and never crowded.
We felt so blessed to be able to wake up to the beautiful sunrise and see the whale spouts off in the distance from the balcony!

This property is easy to find, close to Lihue and Kapa’a. Description was accurate and check in/check out easy. It’s a quiet condo. We stayed on the second floor. The view was beautiful. We watched surfers in the day and you can see the lights of planes take off at night, but you don’t hear them. One morning we saw whales far out. Beach access is a very short walk. We had no trouble getting around. Across the street is a great little place to get lunch or breakfast. The condo is a little dated but very clean and comfortable. I might suggest replacing the flooring in the kitchen. Our host provided beach gear and even binoculars. The bed was really comfortable. My only complaint, and this is not the fault of the owner, is the chickens. They are all over everywhere and they often start crowing and screaming at 3am. Turn on the air conditioner and wear earplugs. We would definitely stay there again. Great spot.

This property is as described in the listing. It is beach front, although you cannot really get to the beach in front of the property directly (bit of a bank between it and the beach). The apartment is on the quiet end of the building. It is a little "worn" but everything works perfectly.

I booked this place for my parents 40th anniversary, and to celebrate my dad’s 65th birthday. It was so wonderful, quiet, great location, and had al the amenities they needed for a fabulous Hawaiian vacation. They truly enjoyed it, and had a great time. My partner and I had a peaceful stay at Luke’s condo. The check in process was very easy and Luke was quick to answer any questions. The bedroom is very quiet and the AC is perfect when it’s really hot. You really can’t beat the view and proximity to the ocean. We just loved to sit on the deck and listen to the waves crash. The location is also very central for those looking to do some hiking or explore the North and South Shore during your stay.

Loved it here! Very clean, spacious and with great amenities- washer and dryer are a must! Very comfortable bed and sofa! And the pool and BBQ is new!!
