We absolutely loved our stay at The Sandy Feet Retreat! The unit is older but very well kept & comfortable! The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the grounds of the complex are beautiful! Having a pickleball court on property was an added bonus! We loved being right on the beach and the area was great for walking! This was our first trip to Kauai & staying in Kapa’a was the best decision we could’ve made. I highly recommend Sandy Feet Retreat!

Great view and lovely decor (new perhaps). It was a bit loud in the bedrooms in the morning being close to the road and the noisy birds! We really appreciated having AC in the bedrooms. Beds were comfy. We would have appreciated more beach towels as well as a supply of laundry soap. Or the laundry room should have a "smart" way to purchase detergent (digital option, change machine for bills, etc). Having four quarters to buy soap was not happening for us!! Kids loved the pool. Grounds were gorgeous. No safe swimming near the resort except for a quick dip in the kiddie area, so be prepared to drive if you want to snorkel, swim, boogie board, etc.

The view from the condo was fantastic. The grounds are meticulous. The bed was super comfortable. Just know there is only A/C in the bedroom. Washer and dryer are outside and you have to pay for to use them. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we ever come back.

The location can't be beat. We fortunately never needed to use the air-conditioning because the weather was cool.I wish the kitchen had a few more serving dishes, but it was very nice to have a few condiments available as well as coffee filters. The seating is a bit sparce. The price seems a bit high, but what isn't expensive?

Was supposed to stay at a hotel, but after hearing it was under construction went to Vrbo and was thrilled to have found this property instead. Everything was clean and beautifully set up upon arrival. Tons of extra amenities inside the property like boogie boards, sand toys, board games, and more really made it feel like home during our stay. We used the couch as a second bed and it was quite comfortable. The beach is visible from the patio and very easy to access. The coconut marketplace is barely a block away with an ABC store. Having this be in a gated community brought extra piece of mind as well. You could pay so much more for less at a hotel or resort. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this booking.

People in Kauai are so kind and friendly! We love coming here. The view of the ocean from the lanai, and inside the home through (clean) glass's doors and windows, is spectacular. We sat for hours watching the waves, clouds, and surfboard riders. The grounds are a well manicured garden of tropical plants. There were always flowers in bloom. The lawn is a unique springy grass that feels lovely beneath your feet. The condo was immaculate. The beautiful, updated kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom has shutters on the windows, in case you want the room darkened. An AC unit kept the room a perfect sleeping temperature when it was warm outside. We love the expansive shower with a lovely rain shower head. Pluses for us included the full bathroom and a half bath as well as two lounge chairs on the lanai. The host is super responsive and provides great information to prepare for and enjoy our time here. We liked the secure guaranteed parking area. You hardly want to leave Kapaa. Grocery shopping, many delicious restaurants within walking distance, and boutique shopping are nearby. We walked every morning on the ocean side boardwalk and paths each day. This was our second visit and we already reserved time for next year! We can hardly wait!!

We stayed in this condo for 6 nights. It was perfect for us and two teenage boys. Plenty of space and we walked every night to dinner somewhere. Beach access would be perfect for big and little kids alike. The location is popular for local surfers. I loved watching them from our lanai. Condo was well stocked with all kitchen essentials. Quiet and proper lay was well maintained. Super close if you want to kayak to Secret falls.

Very well outfitted. The hosts have provided various board games and novels. The kitchen is completely outfitted with gadgets and a nice supply of spices and such. Wonderful view and the grounds have variety of plants. Take a slow walk around to see them all. Close to a few restaurants and shops and a farmers market.

This was our second time staying at the property, and everything was just as good as we remember, short of a bit of a holdup at check-in. That being said, Steve was super transparent and apologetic and kept in communication with us until we ultimately got our issue resolved and checked-in. I would return for a third time.

The kitchen had most of what we needed. Would've maybe liked a few more containers for leftovers. Laundry wasn't an "issue" but if you didn't bring enough quarters (2.50 to wash and 2.00 to dry), you had to download an app to use. Our only "complaint" would be the birds making a mess of the railing under the gutter and near the door access to beach stuff.The stopper for the main bathroom needs some attention. We had to operate it from under the sink. Not a huge issue.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location of the complex seemed to be central to everything on Kauai with some shops and restaurants within walking distance. The instructions from the host were complete and easy to understand so entry to the property and parking were easy and convenient. The condo was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The best part is how the pool and beach are just steps from the Lanai and the beach walk is great too! The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was great to have 2 bathrooms. The host notified us that the air conditioning wasn't working before we got there and they were waiting for a part. Luckily we didn't find the need for it during our stay. The laundry is not in the unit like we thought, I must have missed that it is a coin laundry by the managers office. The place was clean but a deeper cleaning could be done. Overall we were happy with the accommodations and would stay here again

the condo unit was tastefully decorated and the deck was superb! The view was wonderful, just like shown.One of the best things about staying there was the king size bed. We slept so well and still miss it to this day. Another great feature is the location, just a couple minutes walk to a small outdoor mall loaded with shops and eating establishments as well as an ABC store. The condo is one I would definitely recommend and would happily stay at again. There is a couple of things to know in advance which isn't a deal breaker but would have been nice to have. It does not come with a washer and dryer in it nor does it have elevators. We had 5 pieces of luggage to pack up the stairs which was a bit tiring but we managed to do it. There is however a place with washers and dryers to use in the building for a small fee. Overall this was a great place to stay at!

Wonderful condo with a great view, relaxing sounds of the ocean waves, and refreshing breezes! Howard was very attentive and kind regarding any questions we had. The unit is very clean and more stocked with essentials than almost any other rental I’ve stayed in. The bed is very comfortable. When we weren’t out exploring, we spent most of our time on the private lanai enjoying the views. The quiet, beautiful, and well-kept grounds were appreciated. The location of the condo is ideal for visiting different areas of the island. There is a market area just a quick walk from the condo with groceries, treats, restaurants, some live entertainment, and shopping.

Beautiful place, love how everything is logically labeled, love the large washer and dryer. Amenities were clean and kitchenware clean and new. No complaints. We found a new place to eat not far from the condo. Brand new food truck with eating area which was clean, parking, and bathrooms. Kauai Myanmar food and sushi, great Burmese food, chef worked at Nobu, best ever poke. They are adding some Thai choices.

Very clean condo, excellent location, and all amenities made our stay on Kauai extra special. Comfortable beds, laundry facilities, a well supplied kitchen, and air conditioning were really appreciated. The views from the deck and pool were wonderful. The condo was steps from the beach. There was easy access to the Lava Lava Beach Club for meals which made it nice for any meals that we didn’t want to cook or drive to. We would definitely stay here again. The host was easy to communicate with and there was a notebook of information to make out stay more enjoyable.

The unit itself was actually nice. But there was construction going on upstairs from 9a-5p each week day that basically made the unit uninhabitable. It was incredibly loud with pounding, sawing, and scraping. Plus the workers were young guys having fun shouting at each other and enjoying their work. I don't fault them for that but it was loud. We went for the tranquility of the scene and the construction destroyed that. We learned the construction has been going on for a long time yet we were not informed of it until it was too late to cancel nor were we given a real description of how disturbing it would be. I wouldn't rent this unit again.

We loved our stay at this condo! The location is lovely - oceanfront with a small beach in front, beautiful view, walk the beach path to Lava Lava Beach Club and beyond, close to Coconut Marketplace and downtown Kapaa, groceries nearby. This condo is older but well maintained, clean and spacious. The grounds were beautiful and the pool too. The added AC in the bedrooms made sleeping comfy. We would stay again!
