We had a beautiful 14 day visit with our friends in September. We really enjoyed the location of the VRBO as it was walking distance to many local amenites such as the Passion Bakery, Napali Brewing, Lava Lava and Coconut Marketplace. The airport and Costco were only a short drive away and we were at a good half-way point to Princeville, Waimea. We were also close to Kappa, and Poipu, where we were able to enjoy the turtles and the scenic beach hikes.
The VRBO was very clean and had 2 comfortable spacious bedrooms. The kitchen was well appointed, and had everything that we needed. The lanai had an incredible view of the ocean, where the men spotted a turtle in the surf. The beaches were fabulous to have our daily soak and the grounds was kept immaculate by the maintenance crew. Staff at the facility were extremely friendly and helpful.
The only thing we would have liked was more comfortable furniture in the living room. However this would not be a dealbreaker to not return, and we're already thinking of our next vacation to Kauai.
We would definitely come back to Wailua and this vacation rental.

From the moment we arrived we knew we picked the right place to stay. The condo was so perfect and so comfortable. We had everything we could need and more. From the "extras" in the kitchen (juicer, spices, etc. and all the other items available to use such as chairs, boards, flippers and more! Trust me when I say that the pictures on VRBO do not do it justice because the view from the lanai is truly breathtaking! The condo was also perfect walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, Passion Bakery Cafe and of course the Lava Lava Beach Club. Kara was also very responsive if we ever needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time to Kauai and we loved staying in this condo! The location was fantastic for exploring the island or relaxing at the beach or pool at the condo. The condo’s lanai had a very nice table and four chairs plus two lounge chairs. It was a wonderful place to eat breakfast in the morning, get lunch takeout from the Sleeping Giant Grill ( short walk from the condo), and watch gorgeous sunsets in the evening. The beach was just a short walk away after passing the condo’s pool. The owners provided everything you need for a Hawaiian vacation for two couples: 4 beach chairs, 4 beach towels, coolers, ice packs, and well equipped kitchen if you want to cook. There are so many good restaurants a short drive away like Sam’s Oceanside - make sure to make reservations, and Tony’s Fresh Catch Food truck for amazing shrimp tacos and fish tacos! Also, a short walk away from the condo is the Lava Lava Beach Club with a good happy hour, live music, and ocean/beach view. We enjoyed going to the coconut market place where there are shops, restaurants, a grocery store and one of Joe Joe’s satellite shave ice. Personally, we enjoyed picking up groceries here instead of driving a little farther to the Safeway. Also, we chose to visit the original Joe Joe’s Shave Ice down south for nostalgia. The owners of the condo are wonderful hosts. They provided us with information in a timely manner and gave us great recommendations in the area. We highly recommend staying here!

Rare find to have two master bed/bath suites, and even more rare to find one decorated so nicely & comfortable! There were so many small things that helped make it delightful, eg plenty of hangers & towels, kitchen with nice cookware, spices, etc, many hooks in bed & bath to hang towels, clothes, great W/D, clear directions for electronics... All of that on top of a great view/lanai & very comfortable beds, along with superb communication with Kara. Definitely recommend!

We can’t say enough positive things about Kara’s beautiful home in Kauai. We spent 7 nights on a recent trip and were so impressed by the condo community and Kara’s home.
What we loved:
- It’s a super clean, tidy, and organized home
- The furnishings are all seemingly new and in great shape
- From the books in the bookshelf, art on the wall, and decor throughout the home, you’ll feel like you stepped straight into a Pottery Barn magazine.
- Lae Nani is a beautifully run condo community. It’s quiet, well maintained, lush, and has a gorgeous (warm!) pool.
- The view!!! Waking up each morning to the beach and ocean view is incredible. Listening to the waves crashing at night and gazing up at the stars was one of our favorite things.
- Lae Nani beach is a little treasure. It’s got a Keiki pool for your children and mellow-ish waves for you. We also found it to be a fun beach for beachcombing.
- Can’t beat the location in Kapaa. Centrally located to reach both the south and north sides of the island, with plenty to offer in Kapaa/Wailua (biking, great eats, reasonably priced grocery stores, and family friendly beaches like Lydgate nearby)
It’s a true gem of a property and one that we hope to be lucky enough to visit again on a trip to the Garden Isle!

This place is great! Lots of room, comfortable beds, the view is AMAZING! Nice little lagoon when you don’t want to play in the larger waves. The pool is great! There is lots of outdoor space to enjoy!

Located in town of Kapaa the condo has a lovely quiet, residential feel with direct beach and pool access. Eating places in walking distance- especially loved all the Coconut Market Place had to offer (farmers market -Tue and Thu), food trucks and close to Lava Lava beach club etc.
The house is clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and supplies were well stocked (dishwashing pods, washer dryer etc). We sat out
on the lanai every night enjoying the evening breeze, listening to the waves on the beach.
Overall, just what we needed for a relaxing vacation.

The unit is nicely furnished in EVERY room. The location on the property is perfect to hear and see the ocean. We enjoyed a few delicious take out meals on the lanai. With a candle on the table, the tikki torches lit around the gardens along with the sound of the ocean, it rivaled any restaurant we ate in. I had originally book a resort in Poipu as I had heard it is the "sunny" side of the island (it was Dec.). But after reading the reviews for this property, I canceled the resort and booked this unit. I'm am thrilled that I did. First of all, we had plenty of sun the entire time of our trip. If it did rain, it was a brief shower. This location was convenient to get to the North side where we did quite a bit of hiking. We also went south to get on a boat.
So what do you give up by not booking on the south side of the island?...Poipu beach, which is popular to see wildlife. We drove to Poipu one day and enjoyed it but we were so ready to get away from the crowds! There was a lot of shopping available but we didn't have much interest in it. There are a lot more restaurant options but we were thrilled to find a great feature on this property... a private ocean view walkway to a few nice restaurants without having to get in the car. It totally felt like a resort but a bit more quiet. That was a plus as everyone on this island moves slowly...speed limit is rarely over 30 mph so getting to a restaurant that is only 10 miles away could take 25+ minutes. Our host Kara was quick to respond to any communication. We are already thinking of booking it again.

Very well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, beach necessities. We did not lack. Some in our family are hot natured, all of us agreed with the owners that no AC was not an issue.

The view and access to the cove and ocean are wonderful. The furnishing are great, better than most VRBO properties. The kitchen has most things, a Keuig and a drip coffee maker, if you are picky about your hair dryer bring your own. They have a table to eat on the porch, beach chairs with headrests, boogie boards, hand weights, a foam roller and a small ice pack to use for a sore body part. No real games to play but TV, we did not use. Good central location, nice town with decent restaurants. Some traffic going towards Lihue after 11:00 a.m.

Watching the waves from the balcony and being able to walk directly to the pool, beach, grocery store, and many restaurants made this trip a breeze. Stay here! Or wait, maybe we shouldn't say that because we want to come back and don't want the calendar to be booked up! Honestly, everything about our stay was lovely and the spot really makes you feel like you're on a vacation to Hawai'i. The beach is right outside your porch. The views are great, and the ocean breezes perfectly delicate but cooling. The place itself super clean, in tip top shape, and the beds felt like impeccably placed clouds.
Communication with the host was great. Arrival and check in were easy. Her tip to use the local taxi service (Glenn) was a great tip and we recommend Glenn too!
Location is great as well, as it is not too far to Haneli, nor too far to Poipu. Dinner in Lihue, no problem, just a 10 -15 drive. There is a number of changes happening with businesses near the condo which slightly limited the dining options, but the proximity to the market and associated plaza with restaurants made eating out and recouping groceries easy and walkable. The local bakery is a short walk as well and had great coffee.
We have memories of this place burned in our minds as we think of our trip and will actively be planning for our future return!

This condo has everything a family of four needed. Location was excellent for an active family that enjoys hiking, exploring, beach time, and being on the water. We left the provided beach chairs in the back of the jeep all week and packed the provided cooler on days we explored the island. Lae Nani is a great location to split visiting the south and west and then east/north shore. The condo is beautifully redone and location is close to pool but with excellent views of kite surfers and the water from the lanai. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Kara was excellent to work with and this has been one of our best VRBO experiences! The only downside is that we have to leave to go home! We hope to be able to come back soon! Mahalo!

The unit itself and location was amazing! Very well stocked with everything you would need for cooking. Lighting in the living room could be added. Great views and right on the beach. However we were constantly harassed by the people who live in building 5. They are an absolutely disgusting community full of old miserable hags who have nothing better to do than constantly complain about my family trying to have a nice BBQ and pool day. They clearly can't afford their own private beach/pool house so they try to turn Lae Nani into their own; thus preventing others from using the facilities meant for everyone. Not certain if we would stay here again.

The 2 bedroom/2 bath condo was perfect! The grounds are amazing and the salt water pool and kiddie beach area were popular for all ages. The unit was super clean with a well equipped kitchen along with beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels and a cooler. There are even yoga mats! (Tip: Check out Anya at Kauai Yoga on the Beach 8:30 am daily next door at Kauai Shores for a yoga session beyond compare!). The lanai has a beautiful view of Wailua Bay for sunset and a quick walk across the perfectly manicured property to watch the sunrise. Located in Kapaa, it is in a perfect location midway between the north and south shores offering a great launching point for daily adventures. It is also an easy walk to Coconut Marketplace and the farmers market every Tuesday/Thursday morning. And don’t miss the marsaladas at Passion Bakery! The owner, Kara, was wonderful to work and offered great suggestions to help finalize all the details of our stay. We will definitely cherish the memories of our stay and we’re already dreaming of our return! Book now, you’ll be glad you did!

Absolutely fantastic condo with great central location on the island. Very clean, comfortable beds, and everything I needed in the kitchen for coffee and breakfast (that's all I do on vacation). Hailing from Texas, I was worried about the lack of AC, but trust me when I say this was NOT an issue. Slept with windows and lanai door open every night and I haven't slept so well on vacation ever! The grounds around the condo and the beach at Lae Nani are beautiful and well kept and just added to the relaxation and enjoyment of the trip. Will stay here again, as soon as possible!!!!!

We stay at many fine luxury rentals and hotels, and my expectations were honestly low coming to this rental but… oh… my… goodness, what a great place to stay! Thank you to the Brown family for this amazing stay in paradise! We were so incredibly happy with the condo. Kara was so accommodating and easy to work with and helped us plan our perfect vacation! She is a wealth of local information and history! The condo exceeded all our expectations! Pictures will never do this gorgeous place justice. The ocean was right outside our deck and the sounds of the waves lulled us to sleep each night. The beds were incredibly comfortable and it is obvious how much care went into furnishing and stocking this beautiful condo - making it absolutely gorgeous and livable. It was so clean when we arrived and everything we needed was there!
The location of this Lae Nani condo made our stay perfect. It is centrally located in the sweet town of Kapa’a. It is conveniently close to the airport, walking distance to shopping, restaurants, beaches (right outside your door), and easy access to the north and south ends of the island. The resort is so beautiful with all the amenities. We particularly loved the central grill area. What a fun social spot to grill and visit with other guests while enjoying a cocktail! The pool was lovely and the landscaping was just breathtaking.
This special condo is in the perfect location to enjoy all Kauai has to offer! We will stay here again, and cannot imagine a more luxurious place to land and explore this island of paradise.

The listing photos do not do justice to the experience we had at the condo during our stay. The house has two king beds and they are very comfortable. The Browns are very responsive with any communication. There are great eateries in a walkable distance to grab a snack or meals. We will definitely book the condo next time we are in Kauai.

The property exceeded our expectations! When we discovered the closet with all the beach equipment/toys we were in heaven. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was priceless. The view was exceptional & location in the complex was perfect. Thanks for making our stay wonderful!
Very small notes-not enough toilet paper, need a Keurig, & need electric ACs in bedrooms. Portable fans & overhead fans helped, but you would save on electricity if you had the new splits. Thanks again for everything!
