We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at this lovely, perfectly located condo. Everything was well communicated. The condo was beautiful and our view and access to the ocean was fantastic. What a great first trip to Hawaii. It was everything we dreamed it would be.

The host made the stay very pleasant for us. The property was neat and clean with stocked kitchen. There’s A/c and fan in the bedroom that helps with the humid daytime weather. Trade winds post sunset makes the weather pleasant inside the house though. If we visit Kauai again, we would definitely stay here. 5/5 totally.

Ideal property for those who want to explore or just sit and watch the waves on your own little section of beach.
The upkeep of the property and grounds is just world class and the unit is perfect for a couple or a couple plus 1. A clean and quiet little piece of paradise.
AC in bedroom and extras like beach towels and coolers were a huge plus as well.

This location cannot be beat for a paradise/beach style vacation. 100 ft from the ocean with an absolutely impeccable back yard leading up to the beach. Central location near airport makes it easy to get to adventures both on the north and south shore. The owners were great to work with and very hospitable. We would for sure go back!

This centrally located condo is perfect for exploring Kapa'a as well as making day trips to both Poipu and Princeville. We loved that we were within walking distance to both shops and restaurants. The views from the lanai are breathtaking and the ocean is just steps away! The added bonus was the closet off the lanai that had chairs, coolers, and extra beach toys! We can't wait for our return trip to Kauai!

I was pleasantly surprised with everything about this property. The property felt 25-30% larger than it looked in the photos. The quality of materials felt better than they looked in the photos. Although the property is a condo, it felt much more private and quiet than I expected. The grounds and beach were also amazing.

Our second stay in this beautiful condo and certainly not our last. Steps away from the ocean which we swam / snorkeled in daily. Walking distance to coconut market, farmer’s market, and a few restaurants. The king size bed is firm and comfortable, newly remodeled kitchen open and light, bathrooms are clean, there’s comfortable reading seating inside and out on Lanai, condo owners are super helpful to communicate with…it’s a perfect spot for a centrally located stay in Paradise (including visit to Mineral Amorphia in Kapaa for crystal shopping!)

My Best friend and I travel every year to Hawaii for 3 weeks from NJ and this stay at this property has been absolutely amazing. The view from this property is almost unimaginable. This is our first time on the Island of Kauai and we absolutely loved it. From the grounds around the unit to the inside of the property everything was perfect. We cannot wait to come back next year or maybe before.

Paradise found, indeed! Beautiful apartment to match the perfect location, fully stocked kitchen (even Kauai-grown coffee) and beach closet (including snorkeling stuff), all the amenities. Plus just steps away from great little farmers market and shops. Amazing, too, that all residents at Lae Nani are quiet, polite and friendly. We can't wait to return to just this spot.

The condo exceeded our expectations. Extremely clean and updated, wonderful ocean view and breezes. The property/complex was very inviting, beautifully landscaped and the staff onsite was very helpful. The condo is very well stocked both in the kitchen and the fun closet. The location provides many dinner options within close walking distance. It really was the perfect spot for our family, 2 adults and a teen.
What I will carry with me most in addition to the wonderful views and sound of the ocean was the true hospitality of this host. Sharon was very quick to respond prior to and during our stay. And she was able to assist us when our travel plans changed unexpectedly. Thank you for having us at your island paradise!!

You can’t go wrong with this property. With the ocean a stone’s throw away and all the amenities you could ask for, it’s perfect. The small lagoon for kids is great for swimming and checking out small fish. We look forward to our next trip to Kauai and can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

My wife and I stayed here for our 40th anniversary. I can’t explain how beautiful the view is. We went to many of the attractions of the island and the location is perfect, because it is centrally located to the north and south. I will say while we did see many things one of our best days was just sitting on the porch taking in the view and watching the waves all day. We travel a lot and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. I was concerned no ac in the main area only the bedroom but the breeze off the ocean was perfect. Definitely recommend highly.

Walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. So much more than what we expected. You can tell that the owners put love and take great pride in their "home". The access to water and local food and drinks is top notch. The condo is perfect with everything you need and very comfortable beds. A/C in the bedroom and ocean breezes throughout the rest of the condo is perfectly tranquil. Although we explored much of the island, our favorite part of the day was coming “home”, making dinner with a great bottle of wine and sitting out back on the beach or lanai reading, playing cards, and contemplating our next chapter. Perfect for us.

We used to live on Kauai and come back every year to visit. This has to be one of our favorite properties. The location is amazing, a perfect beach directly out your back door and a beautiful pool right there too. Being in Wailua is easy to drive to any of the North Shore beaches or over to Poipu without spending hours in the car. Love that it’s close to the airport, shopping and downtown Kapaa too.
The condo is very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! Only request would be possibly some new beach chairs and an umbrella :)

I can’t even put into words how perfect this property is. It is a true gem, and one you will have a hard time beating no matter what your budget is. Sharon literally has thought of everything, and is an amazing host. That is the cherry on an already amazing sundae. The location of this property on the island itself (in terms of getting around between north and south shores) makes it perfect if you want to get out and explore. We saw the entire island. I could have just as easily stayed right at the beautiful property the entire time and been content. It was hard to pull myself away from
the lanai; the views and short distance (steps) to the beach are priceless. The AC was a wonderful thing to have for sleeping. The fun closet has everything you could want or need while there. I traveled with my son for a post graduation celebration and we woke up each day so very thankful that we had such a perfect place as our home base. We will definitely be back one day with the rest of the family. It’s a great place for kids, a great place for couples; it’s just the perfect place in paradise.

Do not hesitate to book this condo. Everything about it was wonderful and made our stay very comfortable. You can choose to go to the north shore in an easy drive or go to the south shore in a short drive. Or stay right at home with a beach literally steps from your door. Also fun place within a short walk for dinner on the beach at Lava Lava Beach club. Also shopping not far at the Coconut Marketplace. They also have Farmer’s Market there on Tuesday and Thursday. I could go on and on but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hope to be back.

Lae Nani was perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The out door fun closet had lots of helpful stuff for the beach like mats and snorkel equipment. The view from the patio to the swimmable beach is beautiful. We spent hours relaxing in the lounge chairs on the patio.
Sharon was very helpful. Immediately after booking she mailed us an information packet explaining everything and providing directions. She quickly answered two text questions that we had after arrival. The location is great for walking along the shore. We appreciated all the helpful suggestions.
Everything was just as pictured/described. Would highly recommend to others. It’s a beautiful spot on a beautiful island.

This property is oh so close to a 5 star. The location to the ocean and beach can not be beat and we loved being able to hear the waves at night while relaxing. Updated kitchen, master bedroom & bathrooms were nice as well. The proximity, like a 3 minute walk, to Coconuts marketplace for shopping, groceries and restaurants is a huge plus. The grounds are stunning and immaculate all around the Lea Nani property.
Some of the reasons we couldn't give it the full five stars.
1. Check-in was delayed an hour and half while awaiting the cleaning crew to finish. We reached out to Sharon, who was very responsive, and we were told we could go in, but we did not feel comfortable doing so.
2. Screen door would not stay on the tracks so we gave up trying and did our best having it lean against the frame. You really need that slider open to take advantage of the great ocean breeze.
3. Fun closet - There is a closet with beach items for your use during your stay. However, when we opened the closet, their was a very strong odor. Maybe the items simply needed to be cleaned or closet aired out on a more frequent basis. The second time we opened the closet to air it out, we began to smell it inside the condo. We did not use any of the beach items from the closet.
Overall we had a great stay and there was just a few items that kept it from being a 5 star. Honestly, I wish I could give half stars as it's better than a 4 star, but not quite 5 stars in our opinion.

We stayed for close to 3 weeks over Christmas in the unit and had an absolutely wonderful time. Sharon was great at communicating from when we first booked her unit, to pre-trip questions, always replying within the hour with very helpful answers and insights. This was our fourth trip to Kauai as a family, including our 11 year old daughter, and it was by far the best place we have stayed. The heated pool was lovely, bbq's worked great and the fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare most of our meals at 'home'. We will be back! Thanks Sharon! From the beautiful view, to the convenient location this place has it all. The bed is super comfortable, and the condo is updated and clean. We spent 8 fantastic nights here in the middle of September. The entire property is beautiful and well-maintained with a ton of trees, flowers, plants, and birds. From it's position on the ground floor, access to the beach doesn't get any easier and actually seemed even closer to the water than it looks in the pictures. The apartment was very clean with a comfortable couch and day-bed in the main room and king bed in the bedroom. The a/c in the bedroom worked well and we really liked being able to cool it off to go to sleep. There are also 6 ceiling fans throughout the unit, including one on the porch, so we were never too hot.
We like to stay in and mostly prepare our own food and were able to do so easily. We had Safeway deliver groceries and walked almost daily to the Coconut marketplace next door (groceries, booze, take-out).
Finally, Sharon was fantastic! We exchanged emails with her a few times before and at the beginning of our stay and she always replied immediately...as in within minutes. If we could give her more than 5 stars as a hostess, we would!! We're already planning our next stay.

We loved our 10 day stay at this property. You see the ocean before you even enter the unit (from a window by the front door) and you hear the sound of the ocean throughout the unit (softer in the bedroom, which does not interfere with sleeping). The bed was super comfortable - we felt like we were sleeping on our mattress at home. The kitchen and baths are in great condition. We would definitely stay here again.

The absolute best place we've stayed on Kauai. This was our 4th trip to the island and our 1st in a condo. We are sad to leave this property tomorrow. It has been exactly as described…a perfect ground floor condo where you can just watch the waves or walk out to touch the water. The location makes it easy to stay local or explore the whole island. The owner communicated everything in an easy to understand way snd with excitement for our stay. We used the beach chairs, sand toys and boogie boards they had on property. Clean condo, full kitchen, plenty of extras like towels, laundry basket, soap and shampoo, etc. If we are lucky enough to come back soon, we will be staying at this property again!

We loved staying here for our honeymoon! Sharon's apartment is clean, comfortable, well furnished, and conveniently located on the East side of Kauai. She's a great communicator and everything was well explained so we could arrive already feeling relaxed. There are great swimming and snorkeling beaches nearby. We enjoyed many meals cooked on the grill and falling asleep to the peaceful sound of the waves. Thanks for a great stay!

This was a great condo in a great location. Convenient to drive places, but walking out the back door onto the grass overlooking the beach meant driving wasn't necessary for much of the time. And the lovely on-the-beach restaurant around the corner was perfect to make sure that was the case. Highly recommend!!!

This place has all the things you need for a week on the island. Kitchen is amazing and has all the amenities one would need to prepare food including new, modern appliances! Bed is super comfortable, AC works great, property is magnificent. The location on the island is terrific for travel and exploration in both directions!

While the waters are super-swimmable, the stronger ocean waves are great to watch and listen to. The views from the lanai (or interior of the unit even) are great. The location is very convenient too as it's about 15 minutes to the Lihu'e airport and whether you want to explore the North Coast, Waimea Canyon, or somewhere in between, it's easy to get there from here.

Due to a broken water pipe and damage to her unit days before our arrival, we were unable to stay in her condo. Sharon was very attentive and proactive and secured the condo unit directly above hers to make sure we had the ocean front view we had hoped for. No small effort during the holiday season I’m sure! She was gracious to give us access to her beach equipment and lanai during our stay. As a special thank you she also treated us to dinner at her favorite restaurant. Lae Nani is an amazing property and exceeded our hopes. We plan to vacation here again in the future and would love to have Sharon host us again. The broken water pipe outside of her unit was not something she could prevent, yet the effort she took to ensure we had a fabulous vacation demonstrated how much she cares about her guests.

The listing pics don’t do this condo justice. The vastness of the ocean view (magnified by huge mirrors inside), the rhythmic waves, the chirping birds....all make for a wonderful getaway. Logistics for checking in and out are well organized, and I appreciate how Sharon reached out to let us know of unexpected construction nearby. The central location allows for easy exploring North and South. We loved walking to the farmer’s market over in the Coconut Marketplace to get what we needed for fruit salads, and to the Lava Lava beach club. (If you arrive before check-in, check at the office to see if parking pass is ready (it was for us) and stroll on over to Lava Lava for a bite. The only recommendation i’d make to this wonderful slice of heaven is to update the beach chairs and snorkel masks (2 leaked) in the “Fun” closet. But that’s small stuff for an otherwise grace and love filled space. (Make sure to read the guest book for the condo owner’s reflections) We look forward to coming back!

Hard to beat! A few steps to the beach for a dip, a few more to the Lava Lava for a meal and/or cocktail, and just a few more to the Coconut Marketplace for (almost) everything else. The mid-Island location means relatively short drives to either Poipu or Hanalei, and the beautiful Wailua River and access to amazing inland hiking trails are just down the road. A very enjoyable stay!

Our unit was lovely and clean when we arrived. The instructions to get there and check in were clear. We loved the view from the lanai, watching for geckos and birds as we looked out over the ocean. The Coconut Marketplace was walking distance away, which was really convenient for shops, restaurants and hula lessons! We truly had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it. Thank you!

We loved our stay here. We loved how stocked the condo was as we had a few days where we stayed at the condo all day. Other days we were able to walk to some amazing restaurants and bars. This place offers the best of both! We also appreciated all the beach gear sun umbrella, body boards, and chairs to name a few. We cannot wait to return!
