I don't think it is possible for us to find a nicer place. From the location and the views to the amenities and graciousness of our hosts, this place is absolutely perfect for our family. So many places to eat, drink and shop that are within walking distance. The condo itself is like a second home to us. We have everything that you could possibly need and to wake up to those sunrises is like waking up from a dream. Can't wait to come back.

This was a fantastic condo. We spent every morning and evening on the 3rd floor lanai overlooking Wailua Bay and the beautifully landscaped grounds. The view was stunning and the lanai was well equipped with 2 loungers and a table with 4 chairs. The inside of the unit was nicely appointed with everything you could need – fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, ice packs, etc. I have back issues and found the beds to be very comfortable. The restaurant recommendations by Wendell & Shannon were spot on. I would strongly recommend making reservations (where possible) well in advance. We really enjoyed being based in Kapaa for our trip. We thank the hosts for sharing their beautiful condo with us and would definitely stay again if we visit Kauai.

We truly loves this rental. Well stocked with kitchen needs, beach equipment such as chairs, umbrella, snorkel equipment, pool floats, noodles, coolers, boogie boards, cleaning supplies and laundry supplies. The beds were comfortable. The grounds of Lea Nani are just gorgeous. A beach, pool, outdoor shower for rinsing, foot rinsing stations at each stairwell, outdoor lounges, and paths to the neighboring beach and Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant. You are in easy walking distance to many stores, restaurants, and bakeries. Grills are located all over the property both near building stairwells and the pool. Views are incredible and check in/checkout was easy with no key needed. Appliances are newer and well working. Lots of books including Kauai travel books. No bugs at all. The ocean breezes didn’t come into the unit with all of the windows open..may just be the season so we had to use the air conditioner at night. Our only minor concern was the size of the bathroom sink areas. There is no place to put toiletries, which could be easily fixed by adding a shelf above the sinks. Did not deter from our joy of staying in this beautiful unit/complex. The grounds really add to the magic of this location as they are beautifully landscaped and immaculate. We thank the hosts for sharing their home with us!!

It was our first time in Kauai and definitely won't be the last. Shannon and Wendell's property is picture perfect as listed & described, best host, very patient and accommodating when our schedules were messed up with Maui wildfires. Their rental has everything needed for the trip, fully stocked kitchen supplies, beach toys, excellent location to north and south side of island. We will certainly be coming back to their magical home. Thank you Shannon and Wendell for making this a memorable trip for us.

The condominium was very pretty and clean and the association grounds are very well kept. The beds and pillows were comfortable and soft. Its located in a great area very close to shops and restaurants. Master bathroom is small with not much room to lay out our toiletries out. Unfortunately the last night we experienced bugs that looked like termites flying out of both bathroom vents. I notified the owners and they responded quickly. Dispite the little issues it was a nice stay in Kauai.

We really enjoyed our trip to Kauai. This complex is great with its location and access to beach. We had 4 families and everyone rented a place in the complex.
Teens had a great time. They could walk for shaved ice or be in the pool or ocean or go shop.
Our unit was amazing with great views. My husband could just sit In the balcony and work. The owners are super nice and responsive.
We will rent this again for sure.

The property at Lae Nani is just incredible and this unit is top notch. Super clean and super well stocked and the third floor views and 2 lanais are worth the stairs! The little things really make a huge difference I think and this unit has them from sharp knives and everything you need to cook a great meal in the kitchen to well stocked paper products, all the details are here. The beds are very comfortable and the modern remodel is clean and functional. Our flight out was severely delayed and yet that impact our check in at all it was a total breeze and the hosts were right on top of messages helping us out. Highly recommended!

This was honestly the best VRBO that we've ever rented!!! The location is perfect for an active family that wants to see/do it all! We were 40 minutes for Princeville and the beautiful swimming beaches at Hanalei Bay and Poipu and about an hour from the spectacular Waimea canyon and all of it's hiking! It is a short drive from the airport with lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance (Don't miss Kenji Burger). The condo itself is in a well manicured secure condo development with a pool and easy beach and tide pool access. Not the best swimming beach, though. The condo is immaculately kept and has the most spectacular view of the ocean. We went to sleep every night hearing the waves crashing on the shoreline. This is the most well stocked VRBO we've ever stayed in! They have thought of everything and it is meticulously organized- beach chairs, ice chest, umbrella, etc. Just a note- this is not for the mobility impaired as it is on the 3rd floor. We will DEFINTELY be back!!!

This was our first big trip as a family of 3. My husband and I took our 3 year old (after a LONG travel day) to this condo. Aside from the beautiful view, it had so many supplies we didn’t even know we needed. So many beach chairs, toys, towels, etc. All cooking supplies were thoughtfully stored and clean. The main bedroom’s bed was so comfortable and big enough for all of us and the view from the lanai was perfect during sunset. Wendell and Shannon were incredibly communicative and helpful when we needed it. We were so grateful to stay in such a beautiful place. The beach directly outside of the condo is perfect for wading in the waves. There is plenty of shady spots throughout the day to set up and relax. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful this place is, I hope we get to come back one day!

Wow-I knew we had a found a special property when we booked this but I had no idea it would be THIS stunning. Everything was super easy-from booking to check in to check out. The property is beautiful, right on the beach so you can enjoy that and the sounds of the waves as you fall asleep. This condo was absolutely everything we wanted. The view of the ocean right off our lanai’s were breathtaking, while the ocean waves lulled us to sleep each night. This location is also positioned well to go to the North Shore or head down to the South Shore. Shannon & Wendell were very responsive when we had any questions regarding our upcoming visit, & provided great insight on things to do and see in the area. This place is truly a slice of heaven, & should be top on your list of places to rent for a vacation!

This condo has a beautiful view of the ocean. You are literally steps away from the beach. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows were great. When we arrived, we found the bed was not made and the attached bath had dirty towels around the floor. I contacted Shannon and she sent over three people to clean. They did take care of the bedroom and bathrooms but they did not clean out the fridge from the previous people who stayed there. The owners did refund my cleaning charge which was very nice. We had a problem with making coffee with the condo’s coffeemaker on the second morning and I contacted the local person. She did contact me back and said she would buy a new one if it did not work, and she would bring it over. We didn’t ever get an update from her and we were never able to make coffee while there. We also had a question about the TV not working with the internet but she never gave an answer on how to fix.

This is literally a dream place. The view from the porch is incredible and the location is great! The apparent is so nice. The master bedroom is very nice with an ocean view and the other bedroom is quite nice. The kitchen is well stocked so you can easily cook there. Highly recommend this spot!

We could not have been happier with our stay at this property. The photos don't really capture the true magic of this condo. It is always nerve wracking trying to pick a spot to stay when you haven't seen it first hand. I can definitely say you will not be disappointed with this one! The views are amazing! The overall complex is beautiful and very well kept. The unit had everything we needed and then some. You can tell that the owners care for the unit and use it as their own. It feels very warm and inviting and isn't just a run of the mill rental. The views from both the main patio and the master bedroom patio are amazing. We left the slider open and had a refreshing breeze all night and listened to the waves crash on the beach outside. You can't beat the location for getting around the island and you can walk to stores, restaurants, and the farmers market. If we come back to Kauai we will definitely rent this unit again.

We booked a week-long stay and loved every minute of it. The condo was in great condition, the beach was amazing with family friendly areas for our little one, and the location was central which allowed for explorations clockwise or counter-clockwise around the island. From the lānais (the living room and the master br each have one) to the washer/dryer, we enjoyed it all.
Some notes: the master bathroom is smaller than the 2nd bathroom, so we set up most of our stuff in the 2nd bathroom. The bedrooms each have an AC but the rest of the condo is not temperature controlled. The bathrooms have showers, but not bathtubs.
There was a lot of food nearby. Lava Lava Beach Club is a short walk along the lawn in front of the condo! A great place for drinks and a meal and it's one complex over. Chicken in a Barrel in Coconut Marketplace is a short walk as well.
We loved our stay and would happily book again.

This NYC family took a trip to paradise and we feel so fortunate to have stayed at this condo. First off the location is INCREDIBLE! Two balconies that overlook the ocean was such an amazing perk. Every night we slept to the sounds of crashing waves. Every morning we were greeted with a gorgeous view of the ocean.
This condo is in a convenient location, we drove to many parts of the island and never felt that anything was out of reach. The supermarket is five minutes away and there are two local bakeries nearby (VIP bakery and Passion bakery). What I appreciate about this property is it did not feel inundated with tourists. Everything is spaced out just right. I needed a break from the constant hullabaloo of the city and this home allowed us to take a break and marvel in the beauty of Kauai.
This condo was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The owners were accessible when I had a few questions via text.
It was very hard to leave and am so grateful to the owners for allowing us a piece of peace.

Step into this home and you’re stepping into paradise. The condo is even nicer than the photos suggest. We arrived in the middle of a rainstorm, weary and concerned about the property’s proximity to the main highway. The moment we walked into the condo, all of our worries were forgotten because this place is absolutely beautiful. The condo was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. We loved going to sleep each night to the sound of the waves crashing and we didn’t miss having a/c at all. We absolutely loved it here and hope to come back soon.

It’s been a long couple years and Kauai was our first big family vacation since 2019. We were all anxious about the trip (is this finally happening?) and counting on long overdue rest, relaxation, reconnection and recreation. As soon as we walked into this condo the weight of the world slid off our shoulders and we took a deep breath and I knew it would be everything we needed and more.
Panoramic, breathtaking views of the water - the pictures in this listing don’t do it justice - you have to see it for yourself. Thanks to strategically located palm trees and the clever layout of the lanais - it often feels like you have the whole place to yourself.
Although I generally overheat easily, I didn’t mind the lack of AC - the constant breeze from the ocean kept the condo at the perfect temp. . . and the fans in the rooms kept us comfortable at all times. The bed in the main room was sooo comfortable - we slept like champs. We were grateful to have the guest room made up into two twin beds for our teens - who also loved their room.
We were pleasantly surprised at the number of beach chairs, floaties and other rec items available to use! We definitely took advantage of those items while there. The kitchen had everything we needed.
The condo building was quiet! Instead of a busy resort with tons of people this condo building felt like a quiet, friendly neighborhood resort. We rarely shared the pool with more than a family or two and the beach was never overly crowded. The landscaping is STUNNING - everywhere was clean and meticulously maintained.
I wasn’t sure what to expect with the beach - but we loved it! There is a rock/coral ledge not far off the shore that broke the waves and created a calm area where we found ourselves sitting and taking in the sights/sunsets! This is separate from the kiddy area separated by rocks (also amazing). When feeling adventurous we’d boogie board (basically bob) in the waves close to the shore - but I would say it’s not an area to go far off the shore unless you are a seasoned swimmer/surfer. We did enjoy watching the surfers and windsurfers on the horizon!
We loved the central location of this unit on the island. We loved being able to walk to the Coconut Marketplace daily for shaved ice or to grab a pizza! We took day trips to both the north shore and the south/west side - we loved that we felt in the middle of it all.
We can’t wait to return to Kauai - and I guarantee I’ll be watching for this unit!

The positive - Lae Nani is an exceptionally beautiful property; the grounds are immaculate. It's close proximity to shopping and restaurants, walking path, grocery store makes it a great location. And it's location makes it fairly painless to circumnavigate the traffic if you time it right lol. The beach is lovely, water is quite shallow and, presently, you can swim and boogie board right in front of the property. You can also surf if you know what you're doing. Kite surfing too on the windier days. Also SUP if you are not a beginner. But the Wailua River is very handy for learning. The beach is not good for snorkelling. Great for toddlers with the protected swimming hole. The condo was well stocked with all kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies.
The areas for improvement - the condo is getting to the point where it needs some attention to keep a 5 star rating. The beds are comfortable but a dresser in the second bedroom would be nice to store clothes. The closet in that room is fully cluttered with random items. The master ensuite is in need of a full reno and isn't very pleasant to use. The living room furniture is awkward and uncomfortable and a new set of dining chairs would also be a benefit. There's quite a layer of dust under the beds too that leads me to believe the unit needs some tlc
All in all, it was a great holiday! Many wonderful memories and I will be sad to leave.

We really enjoyed our time in the condo. The owners were responsive and wonderful to deal with. At booking there was a mix up with the 1st night not being available after we had booked. The owners were immediately on it and apologized for the mishap. They issued a refund for the unavailable night and gave an additional night for free, offered to help find accommodations for our first night and had champagne and chocolates delivered to the condo on our 1st night. We understand mistakes can happen with schedules and they went above and beyond to make it right. The condo was perfect and was stocked full of beach supplies and everything you could ever need. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed sleeping to the sounds of the ocean at night. Being from Florida we are used to AC, especially at night. We keep it around 68 degrees for sleeping. It took a day or so to acclimate to no AC however once we did we really did not miss it at all. You will feel much more connected to the island and ocean keeping the windows and doors open 24/7. Trust me on this. You will not miss the AC. Being this close to the water is a real treat and this condo really is in the best building on the beautiful property. We cannot wait to return. Thanks again and we hope to return next year!

We couldn't ask for more. Amazing views and all of the conveniences of home. Lae Nani's landscaping is like a tropical garden. It was A little warmer and muggier than we expected for December. My wife was looking for the thermostat. Apparently, I didn't tell my wife that there was no AC but I wouldn't have it on anyway. Loved the open lanais with the sound of crashing waves. Most days there was a sufficient breeze that blew through the entire unit. For the nights without the breeze there were ceiling fans in every room plus 4 additional fans that we used to keep the air moving. We would love to return and stay in this same unit.

This unit is located on the top floor and has a great view of the grounds / beach / ocean. Nicely renovated and impeccably maintained - perfect for a family of 4. The property has lush landscaping and an "old Hawaii" retro feeling - perfect for R+R by the beach. The location is walking distance to shops and restaurants and is not located on the main highway so there is no traffic noise to deal with. Very serene. The on site Property Manager is friendly and helpful. Shannon and Wendell are gracious hosts and very responsive to inquiries -we will stay there again for sure.

We had a delightful stay! A beautifully finished condo on the third floor with excellent ocean views and great beach right out front. The sounds of the ocean waves lulled us to sleep every night. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the beach there and eating at the Lava Lava Beach Club right next door. Kapaa is a great location to get to the north and south side of Kauai- as well as being a cute town. Would recommend and happily stay again.

The condo was lovely! It had everything we needed to fully relax and unplug, including direct access to the beach. With an infant and toddler, we loved not having to pack up for the whole day at the beach. We could easily go back and forth from the beach to the condo as needed (and for nap time). I cannot say enough about our trip to this beautiful space. Beautifully appointed, and frankly the best unit in the whole complex (in our opinion). The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything that I could possibly need..tupperware, cookware, glassware, cutting boards, some basic spices etc. The outdoor storage closet had beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas (stuff we normally have to search the island for). Spend an amazing week at Lae Nani in Kapaa, Kauai. Absolutely beautiful property, unit and views. Loved being able to have breakfast on the balcony. The Kiki cove was great for the kids. I would absolutely recommend this property. All of the activities we planned Luau, kayaking, and biking was within 2 miles of the property. The scenery , view and plants were just breathtaking

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Everything in the condo and property was well kept and clean. We also enjoyed the ability to walk to several restaurants. The only thing I will note, not in a negative way, if the day is hot, there is no guarantee that it will be cool at night. We knew the condo did not have A/C so we understood the risk. Unfortunately for us it was very warm and it just didn’t cool down much in the condo. Overall, it was fantastic and we would definitely stay again!
