Lae Nani is by far the nicest condominium community on Papaloa Road, which runs from the north side of the Wailua River to the Coconut Marketplace shopping center. It is a gated private property located on the east side of Kaua’i, on the Coconut Coast. Centrally located on Kaua’i, you are within easy reach of all the wonderful sites and activities on the beautiful Garden Isle. Ten-minute drive from the Lihue Airport, two-minute drive to the award winning Wailua municipal Golf Course and midway between Poipu and Hanalei. Grocery stores, shops, and several fantastic restaurants within walking distance.
Unique to Lae Nani are beautiful curated gardens, and a beautiful white sand beach. There is also, a Keiki (children’s) Pond (a three-sided black lava rock breakwater) which creates a protected pool that is shallower, warmer and calmer than the surrounding ocean – perfect for the young ones. The ocean and lovely large heated pool are just steps away from the unit across the beautifully landscaped grounds. There is a tennis court on the property.
The furnishings are a relaxed, tropical Hawaiian style. The second floor location offers you an expansive view of pool, ocean and grounds. Also, the two bedroom/two bath layout works perfectly for either one or two couples. The master bedroom has a lanai (balcony) and faces the ocean, so you can't get any closer to the sound or view of the ocean. There is also a large lanai off the living room with chaise lounge, chairs and table. You can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere by breakfasting on either of the two private lanais and watching the ocean, exotic birds, beautifully landscaped grounds or relaxing with a glass of wine at sunset.
Watch the sunrise over the ocean with a fresh cup of Kaua’i coffee. Then later, sip your favorite ice-cold beverage from one of the lanais after an incredible day at the beach.
The unit can be configured as two master suites, each with private bathroom.
We provide free wireless high-speed internet and a television in the living room. There is a blue tooth sound system, so you can play music through your smart phone either wirelessly or through aux cable provided. We have keyless entry into the unit, so you don't need to worry about losing a key. Parking is free and secured.
The kitchen features brand new quartz countertops, cabinets and appliances. There is a four-burner glass top range, large stainless-steel refrigerator, dishwasher and a built-in microwave. We have all the pans and kitchen supplies to cook a gourmet meal.
There is a full-size washer and dryer together with iron and ironing board for your use in the unit.
We welcome families, providing lots of games. There is a large grassy area right out front and the beach is only about 75 feet away, There is a heated pool for use by all Lae Nani guests and we have a closet with beach gear, beach chairs and boogie boards that you are welcome to use.
The Coconut Marketplace is an easy walk away and has many shops that cater to tourists. Kapa'a town is about a mile north of Lae Nani with bicycle, snorkel and beach gear rental, grocery stores (Safeway and Foodland), drug stores, banks, restaurants and farmer's markets. Rent bikes in town and take them onto the new bike path that begins in Kapa`a town and winds north along the ocean for many miles.
Walk to nearby Farmers Market at Coconut Marketplace every Tuesday and Thursday morning to buy organic locally grown freshly picked tropical fruits and produce, flowers, and drink fresh coconut juice.
There are also countless activities on site or nearby, from playing tennis at our very own court, to snorkeling, surfing, fishing, or hiking. For the golfer in the family, one of the most beautiful public golf courses in Hawaii, Wailua Golf Course, is just down the street. And for the outdoors person, there is kayaking the Wailua River and hiking to the beautiful Opaekaa Falls.

As new owners we bring a fresh spirit to this unit and being new to VRBO means wide open bookings are available.
Lae Nani does not have A/C. Typically the trade winds provide nice cool breezes through the units and ceiling fans assist. The louvers in the master and second bedroom can be opened along with the louvers in the ocean facing parts of the condo to allow for the flow of air. The front door also has a screen for additional circulation. Extra portable fans are on site.
