The unit was clean but needs some updating. The garbage disposal didn’t work at all and some of the bath towels had holes and discolorations in them. We know Kona can be unusually warm but even with all the windows and fans running it was still hot for sleeping. I would suggest that the management consider some AC especially for the bedrooms upstairs.

There is not enough space to tell you everything - but 10 out of 10. The place was awesome - and the view - which you can see right as you come in the door - and from the living room - and from the bedroom - and from the lanai - is the best ever! I could have sat on the lanai the whole week - and done nothing else. The sunsets were so beautiful. Birds chirping and coming down and visiting - they are always in pairs - so cute. The condo had EVERYTHING! Anything you needed in the kitchen (even seasonings - dishwasher soap - coffee pot(s) - etc. etc.) And anything you would need to go to the beach - chairs, umbrella, water shoes, snorkle equipment, ice chests. The showers and bathrooms had everything you needed too. The AC was great! Fans are great! Wifi was great! My husband out of the 4 of us was the only one that watched some TV - and he said that was great! There's a guest book in the condo - that gives tips and suggestions - we did the all day trip they had suggested and it was the best day of our trip!! Everything is just beautiful in Hawaii - and this condo was amazing. There is a restaurant close by that is up on a hill by the condo - and it was delicious. There is a shaved ice place close by - yummy! I had one everyday!! There's a grocery store right there too. We just loved - Kona Hawaii - and loved this condo - and the host Christine was very responsive - before - during and after! I can't wait to go again.

We had a lovely stay at Tony's place. He was very communicative and friendly, made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. All the instructions for how to care for the place were very clear. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The water pressure was good. The air conditioners were incredibly effective. We enjoyed sitting out on the Lanai as well. The pool was clean and a nice place to relax and read. There was a beautiful rocky overlook to the ocean within the complex where we watched the sunset. There's a shopping plaza nearby where you can get coffee, a local bookstore with kitties to pet, a grocery store and pharmacy, everything you could need. This was a perfect home away from home to stay in while in town for the Ironman. Would stay again!!

Absolutely beautiful location and condo! It was so spacious! I loved the location and the balcony was a beautiful place to watch the sunset over the rocky ocean coastline. We also enjoyed that this location was about a mile away from a shopping center that had many restaurant options, so we didn't have to go far after a day of exploring the island. Management texted every day to check in and make sure we had what we needed and that the condo met all our needs. Would absolutely come back!

the pros: enjoyed the lanai. the coolers, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, the many beach towels and beach chairs was a huge plus! pantry also had oil, salt, pepper, even a rice cooker as we ended up cooking half of the time here since there wasn't much restaurants nearby and everything closes so early. glad to have a sofa bed that actually works and the beds were comfy. had Tupperware so we could pack a beach lunch too. I also didn't see a single cockroach! did find a baby gecko in the bathroom that we released back outside. mosquitos also kept coming in somehow despite having closed screens. now the cons: had trouble finding the place, for those reading this review, upon entering the gate, turn left until you hit building 6. no AC but portable AC units would've been nice. I thought the heat was tolerable, but my family said it was too hot even with all the fans blowing. the bath towels were extremely worn and stained. we did tell mgmt they need new ones, so hopefully the next guests will have some new towels. more toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent would be nice. although it was stated in the agreement, if this is a place for 8 people, 4 rolls of toilet paper will barely last 2 days. at least there was enough soap and shampoo. for those who like to sleep in, birds start chirping pretty loudly at exactly 6am, and we couldn't fall back asleep afterwards.overall, I would return to stay again. enjoyed our stay. mahalo.

You cant beat the view. Extra amenities like the beach chairs and cooler was really nice to have. But the unit could use a really good deep clean. The dining room table has not been cleaned in a very long time. Layers of dust visible on the walls. Other splatter stains visible on the walls. Soap scum build up in the showers.

The condo was perfect. A/C and ceiling fans in each room, beautiful view, washer & dryer, parking was pretty close. Other than no elevator, the property is perfect (and honestly, the stairs were only an inconvenience carrying our luggage up the first day). The property and condo were pristine. The entire condo was stocked with everything we needed, as a lot of items were left behind by others, which was fabulous! I would definitely stay here again. We come to Kona almost every year. This condo was one of the nicest we've stayed in. The ocean waves kept us very relaxed. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room furniture very comfortable. There was also a good supply of beach equipment. Even though there is no AC, we were very comfortable with the ceiling fans and ocean breeze. I highly recommend this unit.

Kitchen and bathrooms were clean as were the linens but the condo needs a deep cleaning, i.e., top of fridge, under beds and inside drawers and cupboards. Some dishes are chipped and many kitchen cabinet doors don't close properly. Host was excellent. The location, the grounds and buildings, and the pool were all excellent. Blake Kessner was always quick to respond to our questions. Check-in was easy. We would choose this property in the future and recommend it to friends.

We loved it here. It was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect location. Only thing that really bothered me was we asked for early check-in and even offered to pay, they told us no because the cleaners had to clean it. We had all of our luggage after a long travel day and so we didn’t want to leave our car we Were at the property and there was no cleaners inside. We text them asking if we could pay for early check-in and they said no the cleaners were still there which they weren’t. We text again asking and they said no. Just frustrating when we offered to pay money

Great location within easy walking distance to local snorkel beach, shopping and private-like black sand tide pool beach next door to complex. Kitchen was well equipped to cook at home. Owners closet had beach chairs, pool toys and other items to use. Grounds are beautiful, well maintained and home to many types of birds. Unit could use some maintenance to drywall around washer and dryer but both were clean and usable. Be aware that you will need to sign a contract with rental company and pay extra for insurance for this unit. The master bedroom is open to the living area with only a sliding screen for privacy which wasn't an issue for us as we had no other guest. Second bedroom had twin beds with a door. Management was accessible by phone if needed and provided a nice welcome treats. We enjoyed our stay here and would consider staying here again.

Great location and beautiful view. Smaller than appeared online but gorgeous. Could use some decluttering with the faux plants and grandma's dishes filling the cabinets. Beds are wonderfully comfortable. Lots of extras with beach towels, gear, coolers, ect. Loved the shopping center close by. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets every night. Rocky beach for nice picnics right outside the door. Great tidepools with LOTS of sea urchins. Wouldn't have small children here. Perfect for our group of 4. I'd use the term "air conditioning" loosely. The livingroom unit didnt work, there were also electrical problems with the lights and fans in the main living space. Great check in book with lots of recommendations. Overall, we had a great time. Our biggest recommendation would be to address all the rude cardboard sloppy notes left all over the unit. Several sharpie cardboad notes left in every room telling you not to turn on a/c, dont use pullout sofa, fines if you touch this, ect. Very off putting for a beautiful space. Consider putting all these demands in your check in letter and not all over the condo.

Stayed at this location for a week with my two young kids and we had a great time. It’s clean, safe, and absolutely gorgeous! The view of the Pacific is very beautiful with huge balcony, large glass walls, and lounge to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed, closet had plenty of linen and towels for a large family. The best part, the house also comes with lot watersports things, like snorkeling gears, water boards, coolers, beach umbrella, etc. Manager was very prompt to answer any questions and ready to solve any hiccup asap. The condo was well located, and the view was amazing. I was very happy to have added a/c, we needed it here. The breezes were good but not enough on their own.The place was not clean enough. Pots and pans were old and blackened. The microwave handle was broken and difficult to use. The loft bedroom bathroom lights were missing and non-LED-so hot I couldn't turn them on without added heat to an already hot room.Even though we were on the third floor-we had several roaches scurrying around. The pest treatment needs to be stronger and/or more often.The condo had beautiful artwork and the furnishings were comfortable and attractive-loved the dining room table!Thank you for sharing your place.

Sliders to lanai need to be locked shut - but sliders hard to lock. Also lanai is too hot to use when cooling inside is on. All and all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The condo was well-equipped, clean and in a fantastic location to explore the area from Kona south to Captain Cook. We especially enjoyed the fact that the condo has cable, which is getting harder to find. For those of us who don’t stream everything, we really appreciated this amenity. The views are awesome and you can walk to snorkel at Kahalu’u in about 10 minutes. The Kona Surf and Racket Club is very peaceful with a nice pool area. This is our second stay at this condo and we would not hesitate to stay again.

Property is beautiful views are amazing. My son and fiancé said master bed was not comfortable the bed I slept on was fine. Condo definitely needs more than 2 beach towels the ones that were there were rather thin and there were bath towels with holes in them. I texted the host a few times about shirts that my son left behind never got a response until I called and left a message then I got a text she would ask the housekeeper about it and never got back to me. Never actually spoke to a person just text need better communication. I tend to be a repeat customer and customer service is lmportant to me. Whenever I visit Maui I return to the same condo resort as customer service is excellent. The last visit I forgot to take home my granddaughter’s swimsuit and the called me immediately and asked if I wanted them to send it to me and of course I declined. The condo was beautiful and we enjoyed our time there it was very peaceful and most likely I will return but please work on communication and customer service it means more than you know.
