Our family reunion could not have happened without Jim and Cyndie’s beautiful townhome and great communication. Ideal location for anyone who wants to fall asleep to the ocean, as I do. This is a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and modern. So close to the ocean you can sometimes feel the spray from the waves. Beautiful sunsets. The complex itself is quiet and quite upscale. We are already planning our return for 2026.

Nicely remodeled accommodation. Well setup, clean and made for a great place to stay. Grounds and pool are well maintained. Awesome access to the beach. Lots of whale spotted from the lanai. This was our second stay at this property and it did not disappoint. Jim and Cyndie were very attentive hosts, from communications to checking in to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. The townhouse has everything you need and then some. Ideal central location with an ocean sunset from the couch every night. Stunning, well-kept community full of birdsong and colorful foliage. We will be back!

The condo was well stocked with everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay. Beds were comfortable, AC was quick and worked great in every room! This place was perfect for our family of four. The patio out back was 20 feet from the ocean and a perfect place to watch sunsets. Great supply of quality beach items and a fully stocked kitchen. The owner was very responsive but we had no issues to deal with. You want to have a car to stay here as nothing is within walking distance, but with a car, it was the perfect location.

We were so comfortable in Jim and Cyndie’s townhouse. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were VERY comfortable, air conditioning was great and the views spectacular! The boogies boards, chairs, umbrella and snorkels/masks were a delightful surprise and made our beach-time even more enjoyable. Jim communicated well to ensure we were comfortable and happy. Highly recommend!

The townhouse is exactly as described in listing. We ate several meals on the lanai, watching the sunset. The kitchen is well stocked and there are many thoughtful amenities. We appreciated the electric tea kettle and tea pot! The beds are comfortable. It’s in a great location for getting around the Kona side. Owner very responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

My husband, adult daughter, 14 month old grandson and I stayed at this beautiful condo. The location is spectacular. Both the ocean view on the other side of the sea wall, and the proximity to grocery shopping (super KTA), restaurants and activities make this a great home base for exploring the area. The condo is comfortable and well stocked. We cooked most nights in the well appointed kitchen and used the BBQ’s by the pool twice. We loved the walk in shower in the downstairs bathroom. The condo is close to the pool, and there is a lovely black sand beach at the North end of the complex. Check in was easy and communication with the host was prompt. We would stay here again.

This listing exceeds expectations. The ocean is right outside the door and witnessing the marine wildlife was wonderful. Two king beds and two full bathrooms made our stay comfortable. You can't miss with this property.

Jim was a diligent host and had the perfect set up for our 2 weeks on the island. The kitchen was well-stocked and had new appliances. Tons of items in the closet, from snorkeling to games. The location is perfect for trips from local Kona to snorkeling in Captain Cook and horseback riding in Waimea. The complex is well-kept and full of beautiful plants and birds. A small beach is even within a short walk. We loved evenings at the pool and stunning sunsets with crashing waves from the lanai. We will be back! Highly recommend!

Great location on the coast right in the middle of everything - close enough to Kona to the north to do touristy things (15 mins) and historical spots / coffee farms, etc. to the south and up the hill (15-30 mins). Townhome is nicely decorated and was very comfortable for our family of 4. We did not hear our neighbors - was very quiet. On check in, we walked in to Hawaiian music playing and a few strategic lights on which was very welcoming. Location is waterfront (but not beachfront as this area is covered in lava rocks but beaches are close by), very clean, well-stocked, easy to get to, close to amenities, on lovely grounds, with dedicated parking and a/c. Kitchen had everything we needed including condiments. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the lanai area. And we took advantage of the beach chairs / towels / boogie boards in the "fun closet." The guest book had lots of great suggestions left by prior guests. Grocery, gas, shave ice, sushi, Hawaiian plate lunch, drug store, coffee, etc. is literally right up the hill half a mile or so - very convenient. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Condo was clean and very well equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay including a washer/dryer. Both bedrooms and living room were air conditioned. Location was great and overlooked the ocean and had no road or traffic noise. Owners were excellent in their communication and follow-up. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

We were looking for a west coast central location for easy access to the north and south attractions. This was close to lots of shopping, snorkeling, tours and the harbor for diving and fishing. Kitchen was well supplied and made cooking our catch of the day easy. Great view from the patio (you are literally next to the water) and a comfortable living room made relaxing outdoors or indoors nice options. Looking forward to staying here on the next visit.

Jim and Cyndie have a great property! We enjoyed our 10-day stay at this updated oceanfront townhouse. 2 king-sized beds, nice furniture inside and on the lanai, and a well-stocked kitchen. The sunsets were great and the hosts kept in touch to ensure we had a good stay. Having a designated parking spot is a plus. Easy access to the tennis and paddleball courts, plus a great pool. We'll be back!

We spent a wonderful month at this property - watching whales and dolphins from the lanai, using the amenities and exploring Hawai'i. Property owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive when necessary. Would recommend this for family vacations or two couples.

Every morning when I walked into the upstairs bathroom, my breath was taken away by the view. You are truly on the ocean with beautiful views. You are close to many major roads, but the condo is out of the way and quiet. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The owners checked in to make sure we have everything we needed. I would definitely go back there again and recommend it to anyone I know.

This townhome was well appointed with comfy beds and all the beach amenities you will need. The proximity to a small grocery store and drug store was helpful as well. Best of all - the beautiful ocean view right outside the lanai! We watched many sunsets and enjoyed our coffee in the morning overlooking the waves crashing into the volcanic rock in front of the condo. There is a small black sand beach available to residents but really more scenic as the rocks would have made it dicey for swimming. Nice to look at the tide pools there at low tide. Bring good surf shoes! The outdoor pool was well used and we only wish there were more shady areas to sit as the seating got filled rather quickly. Saw a whale once and a dolphins several times off the lanai! All in all a great experience and a beautiful island! Highly recommend!

I stayed at Jim Boyer’s unit (2 doors down) a few years ago and enjoyed it very much. Unit 177 didn’t disappoint. The facilities and grounds are well mantained and quiet hours were observed. Jim was very responsive to inquiries and also alerted us to the high surf warnings and the related need for storm barriers. That possibility was listed in the info about the property but it was nice to have a direct message explaining the situation. I hope to be back soon!!

Our family had a great stay, the location is great. Close all amenities, and a short drive to Kona. Pool and tennis courts are easily accessible ands short walk to a black sand beach. Pictures really don’t do the location justice, it really is on waterfront. Waking up with that view really makes the trip. Condo is clean and well laid out. Kitchen is stocked with every spice you would need to cook. Snorkels, pool noodles, boogie board, tennis racquets etc are all available to use.
The owners checked in on us a few time during the stay to make sure we were having a good time and when there was an issue with the wifi, they came out immediately and had it fixed.
Highly recommend and would stay here again.

The unit is spacious and has wonderful ocean views. Loved starting each morning with breakfast on the patio with the ocean just 20’ away and calm ocean wave sounds! Lots to do on site with pool, tennis and a beach a short walk. Several snorkelers swimming each morning. Great experience!

This was our 4th time staying in this community and it never disappoints. The townhouse is very well maintained and location is amazing. We had everything that we needed. The beaches are minutes away (snorkeling beach is 10-15 min walk). The Magic sand beach is lots of fun. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for letting us stay in your unit!

My husband and I stayed recently for a part business/part leisure. We wanted a great ocean view and we got it! The townhouse was extremely well equipped with small conveniences like power strips for phone charging, ceiling fan in the bathroom (LOVE!), and an air purifier in the bedroom. This is not one of those “sparse” rentals….this is a HOME! Highly recommend!

This unit is exactly as described. Stay here if you get the chance! We were here in April. I noticed a recent post by the host that the unit now has central air, which will be a welcome change on the 2nd floor. We brought my 78 yo mom who had never been to Hawaii, and it was important to me for her to stay very close to the ocean. You can't get much closer than this! Kahalu’u Beach Park is an easy 10-minute walk from the unit. We used the provided masks and snorkels for amazing snorkeling in the calm water.
