Simply Wonderful! We will be back! Condo was outstanding! The view doesn’t get any better anywhere! I have travel to Hawaii probably 30 times in my lifetime, and I have never stayed in a place where the view was simply spectacular and at my fingertips! Everyone was super nice and we made new friends along the way, so what more can you ask? You get a 10!

What a wonderful place to vacation!
The pictures just dont capture how great this spot is. It was perfect for our group of 4 (2 couples).
Kitchen was well equipt for our morning breakfast and the lanai was perfect for enjoying our meals, while listening to the waves and viewing the rainbows on the horizon.
Our last day we were graced with a family of turtles that we watched from the lanai.
The pool is an added bonus, well kept and was never too crowded.
Close enough to town to enjoy all the restaurants and shops. Groceries and more restaurants just a couple minutes away too.
Bedroom A/C was clutch and the fans and nice breeze kept downstairs at a very tolerable temperature.
Very happy with our stay here and we hope its available for our next trip to Big Island.

Good location, lots of nice shops and a supermarket nearby. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for access to swimming and snorkeling and has its own tidal pool beach. Condo unit itself very clean and in good condition. Surf and racquet club resort is well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed this location and the accommodations. It's great there are AC units in the bedrooms. However the checkout laundry process could possibly entail a morning effort on your last day. Overall this is a very nice and accommodating property. And if you enjoy the sound of surf and beautiful sunsets this is the place for you! We would absolutely rate this property 110%!!

AMAZING !! Could see sea turtles in the ocean from the porch!! The sunsets were unbelievable. The property was clean, quiet, and wonderful. We had the best property at this location!!!!

We stayed at the property mid July. The condo had everything we needed. The view from the back porch is amazing. We enjoyed being able to step out and enjoy the beach. July is warm and humid in Hawaii. The place had plenty of fans, but it could use a portable air conditioner. We are from a warm climate so it didn’t impact us much.

This unit overlooks the shoreline with direct view of the beach / shoreline and Kona sunsets. Breezy when there is one. Excellent for our needs. The only downside is no air conditioning in the unit. Be prepared for muggy humid weather in Kona!

This property was exactly as described. We stayed for 15 days and found it very comfortable and relaxing with all the kitchen and bbq items necessary to prepare meals. The lanai views the beach and is perfect for watching sunsets.

Wonderful complex; Close to best snorkeling beach in the area; Shopping area just up the road very convenient. Our unit which overlooks the shore of a private refuge is fantastic. We fall asleep each evening to the sounds of the ocean. We have been vacationing in Hawaii for over 30 years and this is by far our favorite spot.

We were very happy with the location of the condo as far as being so close to the ocean. Sandy and Regina were amazing in making sure we were as comfortable as possible. However, we were disappointed in the state of the condo which needs to be updated and is quite dark downstairs since a window is covered by a piece of furniture.

Our family of 3 really enjoyed our 4 nights at the townhouse. The view and location are amazing. It’s an older place but very clean and comfortable for us. It was a little warm but the fans really help. Check in was easy and communication was great. We’ll definitely will rent this townhouse again on our next vacation in Kona. This place was perfect for our family getaway this summer. Other reviews mention the place needing an update, I personally don’t mind the 80’s/90’s beach house feel! They are accurate in that the beds need updating, however I’ve slept on worse. Sandy was helpful & patient throughout our entire booking process. The VRBO platform itself needs some serious work, so just be patient with the host! There is no AC, but you do get a great cross breeze with the windows open and fans on. We were there in the middle of June and adjusted just fine. Nothing beats sitting on the lanai with your morning cup of Kona coffee and watching the ocean. My in laws said they saw about 7 dolphins our last morning there. We also saw multiple sea turtles in the bay as well. Beautiful location and would definitely stay here again!

This 2 BR, 2 bath townhouse is spacious and bright and happy. The townhouse is mere feet from the water, where it is teeming with marine life. The lanai faces west for the most amazing daily sunsets. It’s close to everything but still tucked away enough to feel the peace and tranquility the ocean.

We have stayed at this property multiple times. It could use updating (particularly the main bathroom) but it is perfect for sunsets on the small bay and sufficient for our group of 3 adults. Located in a beautiful complex and close to restaurants and grocery, this unit is a favorite of ours.

It was so peaceful and healing to sit outside right above the ocean, and also to be able to walk to the water just steps away from our door. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay including a well supplied kitchen, washer and dryer, quiet and respectful neighbors, and fans in every room. We will definitely come back.

No problem resting and relaxing in this townhouse. From our lanai we saw whales, turtles, mongoose, birds and dolphins. Sitting by the pool and watching sunsets meant that we didn’t have to venture far for entertainment. Of course Kailua does provide wonderful eating places. We will return.

My partner and I were very pleased with our stay here. The description is very accurate and the location cannot be beat. The complex is also fantastic - we really enjoyed spending time in the pool and next stay, we'll definitely bring pickleball equipment. The unit was perfect for us and fit our budget. We enjoyed spending time on the lanai eating breakfast and dinner and watching whales, sunset and even moonset. The location is perfect for getting to various areas of the Big Island and the shopping center up the hill for the supermarket, takeout food and the Saturday farmers market. We're so glad this unit is available for us to share the experience of staying here.

The location was ideal for our needs and the spectacular view was a delight to behold. Sandy and Leslie were quick to respond to our needs and Pat, the housekeeper, stopped by to make sure we were happy with her work. The townhome itself was clean and neat but in need of long overdue reconditioning. There is no A/C but the fans throughout the unit kept the air moving. The cost per night was about half that of other townhomes in the complex and reaffirms the old adage that you get what you pay for.

This property was a little older and really needs some TLC around the edges. Overall this townhouse apt was great, loved the view. Lots of little things need fixing or painting or replacing. The beds and furniture were comfortable, with lots of pillows. There was plenty of closet and bureau space and plenty of hangers! The wifi worked well. Mostly quiet area. The neighbors got noisy a couple of nights, but it quieted down at a reasonable time. We loved the view! Can't say that enough! Mere steps from the water and hearing the surf was the best!! I would stay here again.

Property is in a great location. It was clean but definitely in need of some upgrades. Several issues with the townhouse were quickly addressed by Sandy, the property manager. We found her to be quick to respond and easy to work with, however the owner needs to do so major updating.

Very nice property and well positioned for a beach experience. It is an older, but well kept property with dedicated parking. I am a bit older and would have appreciated a couple of stand-up air conditioners for the property since we come from an very dry climate and it was a bit stifling.

Wonderful spot. Turtles right below our lanai on 2 days. Convenient and great views. No AC so if you wilt in the heat, it may not be the place for you. We love it and appreciate all the fans available. Not fancy, but comfortable.

We loved being right on the ocean front. The sunsets were breathtaking. We enjoyed breakfast on the Lanai. It was a little warm for us but the fans helped. The unit was very clean. We were thankful for the 2 beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. We ended up renting boogie boards and used our own snorkle gear. Never thought we could afford beachfront rentals but this was definitely affordable! Highly recommend.

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. The check in process was well communicate and simple. Sandy was readily available by phone or text with any questions. The location was perfect with shopping and restaurants nearby if you don't want to venture down the road to the busier part of Kailua-kona. The condo itself was clean and comfortable. The views are amazing and the sound of the waves was so soothing. We loved taking in the beautiful grounds on our walks. We enjoyed the pool often after a long day of sightseeing. We ended up extending our stay by 3 days and Sandy made the process easy. We would definitely rent this unit again.

It shows a little wear and tear, but you can't beat the location or the fabulous view. It was clean (aside from the windows) and comfortable. It doesn't have A/C but the temps were pretty moderate during our visit; the fans and ceiling fans were all functional and helped with the humidity. The local contact was very helpful the one time we needed her. I would definitely go back to this unit and recommend it to anyone traveling to the Big Island.

Our favorite feature of this condo was being able to watch fabulous sunsets right from the lanai as well as watching the tides come and go. We could see fish in the water from second floor of this location.
We also enjoyed the beautiful landscaping throughout the whole Surf and Racquet Club Complex which was very well maintained and bonus beautiful Christmas lighting.

This is just a great property. The description is right on! So close to the water and the turtles and yellow tangs are there to enjoy. Everything has been provided for you. The main floor is updated with that new kitchen and, although the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs may need some updating, they are pleasant, clean, and comfortable-the most important factors to me! The location can't be beat. It was so convenient for us. Kahuluu, a great snorkeling spot, is very close, and Place of Refuge for snorkeling and scuba diving is a short drive. It is super quiet there-except for the noise of the ocean outside your windows! Sandy was so helpful with my last minute request to stay there, and Jeri (on island manager) responded immediately when I needed some help. The two of them could not have been easier to work with.

amazing setting of the town house. as soon as I arrived in the house, I could see the ocean with the beach in front. We could enjoy the sunset, peaceful setting, and sound of the ocean everyday. I definetely would like to come back .
