We have stayed at this resort twice in the past and without a doubt this unit is the best. The furnishings are updated and everything super clean. We appreciated the beach equipment. The kitchen was fully equipped, if someone wanted to cook. We only made smooothies & coffee (thanks for having a coffee grinder!) as we enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants & the Kihei food trucks. Bonus was the comfy furniture on the lanai and how close it was to walk to the main pool & beach. We are already looking for a date for next year.

Traveled with two couples. The owner was easy to communicate with and made several suggestions. One was to stop at the grocery store near the airport to pick up some food. The grocery stores nearer the condo were just okay. The condo was terrific and looked exactly like the pictures. A small and very nice “quiet” pool was close to it. The pavilion with the main pool, workout room, tables for eating and playing games, books to borrow, and access to the beach, was a 9 minute walk down a hill. There was parking next door used for public beach access that had a gate to the pavilion. We did drive there a few times to bring the beach chairs from the condo. We loved the location, as we were close to great restaurants and shopping and other beaches. Monkeypod restaurant with its amazing Mai Tais and the food trucks were our favorites. Lahaina and Ka’anapali were about 45 mins away along the beautiful coast. You can stop in the mornings (at least in June) to see surfers. The beach nearest the condo is Keawakapu, which was wonderful. It’s one of the best beaches we visited due to the expanse of sand. At some beaches the water comes up all the way to the vegetation. Ulua beach is within walking distance and is also very nice. We saw large turtles when we were at Makena Bay, which has a rocky entrance and is sandy once you’re in the water. It was the best beach to snorkel at. There were plenty of dishes and condiments to make breakfast with. Beds were very comfortable.

The unit has very old / outdated furniture, appliances, kitchen and bathroom. The worst part of our stay was seeing mold on our towels and pillowcases on the third day of our stay. Management office replaced the towels and all linens right away, but mold showed up again after a couple of days. I sent a complaint to management, but haven't heard back. I am afraid there was mold in the old carpet as well.

We enjoyed our stay! Beach chairs, towels, and other items were super helpful! The washer and dryer helped. It was a very quiet and relaxing setting. We also enjoyed the large pool area with tables and kitchen that was right next to the beach, very helpful and it was a beautiful beach. Check-in went very smoothly.

The property was immaculate when we arrived. I'm a clean freak and It was perfect. Everything was as described and it excellent condition. I would highly recommend this property and hosts. Air conditioning works great. The king size bed is a dream to sleep on. Also, Shannon, the local person that makes sure all is well for guests is worth her weight in gold! She was available for any questions and extremely helpful.

This is our second stay in this condo. Everything was spotless when we arrived. The condo is well equipped and supplied with towels, paper products, and soaps, anything you may need! Washer and dryer are convenient and have detergent and dryer sheets, took advantage of this on our 2 week trip. The Ekahi complex is amazing oceanfront pool complex is amazing and only a 5 minute walk from this condo! The owner is very easy to communicate with. Would definitely choose to stay here again!

This condo was great for our family of four adults and a 14 month old. Great lanai on the ground floor. There is a little road noise, as the road is adjacent to the condo. The kitchen is well equipped! A large Tv was installed while we were there, which was nice. My only disappointment was that there were visible cobwebs with insects in them above the door to one bedroom and in the inside dining room. Also items that were on the list of “starter supplies” were not there, no dishwasher soap, no Kleenex. Those are nits but for the money, they should have been on site. I would rent this condo again.

Overall, this is a beautifully appointed home with very thoughtful amenities, and our stay here was pretty much perfect. The location relative to the beach and pool is superb, the unit itself is super clean and spacious, and the host (Scott) and manager (Beth) were both prompt, clear, helpful, and friendly communicators. I would absolutely stay here again, and will only comment on a couple of things to assist future travelers:The bed is supportive, but is not as firm as I had personally hoped, even when removing the memory foam topper. This is purely a matter of personal preference, and is not a complaint. For context, it is hard for me to find the perfect hotel or condo mattress, as I personally need a very firm bed for support.In the rule book, it is respectfully requested that you start a load of laundry (sheets, towels) prior to departure, to ensure that they have time for turnover prior to the next guest's arrival. This is an entirely reasonable request, especially if you use the fold out sofa bed and those sheets, too (we did not use these), but I mention this because there is a cleaning fee charged for each stay. This is also a matter of taste but also of understanding, as again, the request is very reasonable given the short turnaround time, but some people might have trouble with a cleaning fee if they are doing some of their own cleaning. It's not a hotel, but it's also priced way better than a hotel, so that's just something to keep in mind. Great stay!

Pros - Beautiful view, VERY quiet unit, nice complex with sparkling pools and easy access to lovely sandy beach. Plenty of parking, updated kitchen, comfortable bed. Host's contact responded promptly to any requests. Cons - Photos #7 showed regular patio set on balcony plus BBQ. Wife is 4'9" and we were surprised to find HIGH TOP table now on balcony. Asked if we could switch high top with normal table that was on side balcony, but this was not allowed. Wife could not safely access high top chairs so we could not enjoy cocktails or dinner on ocean view balcony? BBQ is now a common BBQ located by the nearby pool BUT when we tried to use gas BBQ it was out of fuel on two different nights. Had to walk down to main pool -a steep hill and a couple hundred yards away. We were allowed to check in early ( THANK YOU ) but were given a door code that would not work. After contacting host's person, we were able to get access with different code. Also, Wi-Fi code that was provided on host's hand out was incorrect - but again were able to get new code that worked. Several little things - a couple drawers on dresser did not work, ice dispenser needed to be thawed and cleaned out to work. Overall - enjoyed our stay

Great location. Beautiful view. Can’t beat the sunsets. As advertised. Short downhill walk to the beach and condo complex is right on a sandy beach. Great pools as well. Owner sends clear instructions ahead of time and has property manager on island to assist if needed. Only unusual glitch is the required property insurance, which I have never been required to purchase with VRBO before, but sort of understand it from owner’s viewpoint. Would stay there again if we return to Maui.

The accommodations were new, clean, and everything we needed to enjoy the location was included. There is not an ocean view from this property which I expected from the description I read, however there is an ocean view from the pool which is steps away from the unit.
I contacted the owner by text, email, and phone to see if we could get a later check out time because our flight was not until 7:30 pm, but I never received a response of any kind which was a little disappointing. We were out promptly by eleven and had a lot of time to kill without any accommodation.

We love to walk everywhere we go and this place was perfectly located for us. We parked the rental car and rarely drove it! Super close to amazing beaches, resorts, restaurants, shopping, etc. We cooked quite a few meals in the kitchen and it was great! The bed was comfortable too! The entire place was extremely clean and nicely updated. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Horrible communication from Paradise property may who takes care of this unit. We were notified the day we arrived that new wall to wall carpeting was veining installed that day. They need not provide break in rental to let the unit off gas". So for the first 4 days of our week there was extreme strong chemical smell from new wall-to-wall carpeting is called off-gassing. It is caused by Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) released by synthetic fibers, the latex backing, or the adhesives used during installation. While the highest emission period usually lasts 48 to 72 hours, the smell can take weeks or months to completelyWe called multiple to times to final get additional fans by out 2 day. But management company seemed to pass the buck and not communicate scores the team until I had to escalate with multiple calls.We have rented multiple properties in Ekahi over the last couple years. It's a lovely community it's unfortunate that this unit and how it's managed provides horrible customer experience. Oh ya, and communicating a week later that "sorry for the trouble with a few hundred dollars" doesn't cut it.

This property exceeded our expectations. Amazing views, close to the pool and the Beach. Appliances were upscale and worked flawlessly. We have always stayed at the Grand Wailea when coming to Maui, but really wanted more freedom from a hotel environment and due to an injury we had to change our plans on short notice and Lynn was extremely helpful. We especially enjoyed how quiet it was and easy access to restaurants shopping, etc. there were only two of us, but it could easily accommodate 6 family members. We were celebrating our 75th birthday's and the 2nd floor location was not an issue. We loved it and hopefully will be back next year!!

Love this unit for its location and amenities. We are tall people so love a KING bed. The topper on it made it a little too soft for us, but AC in the room makes it so nice for sleeping. The lanai is our favorite spot in this unit. The breezes, the views, the proximity to beach and pavilion, and being in the heart of Wailea make it an ideal stay on Maui.
