Pros - Beautiful view, VERY quiet unit, nice complex with sparkling pools and easy access to lovely sandy beach. Plenty of parking, updated kitchen, comfortable bed. Host's contact responded promptly to any requests. Cons - Photos #7 showed regular patio set on balcony plus BBQ. Wife is 4'9" and we were surprised to find HIGH TOP table now on balcony. Asked if we could switch high top with normal table that was on side balcony, but this was not allowed. Wife could not safely access high top chairs so we could not enjoy cocktails or dinner on ocean view balcony? BBQ is now a common BBQ located by the nearby pool BUT when we tried to use gas BBQ it was out of fuel on two different nights. Had to walk down to main pool -a steep hill and a couple hundred yards away. We were allowed to check in early ( THANK YOU ) but were given a door code that would not work. After contacting host's person, we were able to get access with different code. Also, Wi-Fi code that was provided on host's hand out was incorrect - but again were able to get new code that worked. Several little things - a couple drawers on dresser did not work, ice dispenser needed to be thawed and cleaned out to work. Overall - enjoyed our stay

Great condo, so much space & so many windows, made it feel so bright. Kitchen had everything you needed, beds were comfy & the beach chairs, towels, boogie boards for the beach were great & the wagon!!!The location just doesn’t get any better, we will definitely be back. This complex was amazing. Short walk to a beautiful beach. The place was well stocked for beach toys. The main pool and common areas were great. The condo was very comfortable and spacious with 2 full bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again. Next time we'll bring the kids (or not).

Truly amazing property — had an unforgettable and perfect week here. Loved the massive lanai, close pool, and well stocked unit. This was by far the cleanest vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at. Well stocked with kids toys, chairs, and the such. We’ve been coming to the Wailea area resorts for years and now with a kid, this will be our go to spot. 10 out of 10.

Great location. Beautiful view. Can’t beat the sunsets. As advertised. Short downhill walk to the beach and condo complex is right on a sandy beach. Great pools as well. Owner sends clear instructions ahead of time and has property manager on island to assist if needed. Only unusual glitch is the required property insurance, which I have never been required to purchase with VRBO before, but sort of understand it from owner’s viewpoint. Would stay there again if we return to Maui.

The accommodations were new, clean, and everything we needed to enjoy the location was included. There is not an ocean view from this property which I expected from the description I read, however there is an ocean view from the pool which is steps away from the unit.
I contacted the owner by text, email, and phone to see if we could get a later check out time because our flight was not until 7:30 pm, but I never received a response of any kind which was a little disappointing. We were out promptly by eleven and had a lot of time to kill without any accommodation.
Condo was great, communication less so.

Horrible communication from Paradise property may who takes care of this unit. We were notified the day we arrived that new wall to wall carpeting was veining installed that day. They need not provide break in rental to let the unit off gas". So for the first 4 days of our week there was extreme strong chemical smell from new wall-to-wall carpeting is called off-gassing. It is caused by Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) released by synthetic fibers, the latex backing, or the adhesives used during installation. While the highest emission period usually lasts 48 to 72 hours, the smell can take weeks or months to completelyWe called multiple to times to final get additional fans by out 2 day. But management company seemed to pass the buck and not communicate scores the team until I had to escalate with multiple calls.We have rented multiple properties in Ekahi over the last couple years. It's a lovely community it's unfortunate that this unit and how it's managed provides horrible customer experience. Oh ya, and communicating a week later that "sorry for the trouble with a few hundred dollars" doesn't cut it.

This property exceeded our expectations. Amazing views, close to the pool and the Beach. Appliances were upscale and worked flawlessly. We have always stayed at the Grand Wailea when coming to Maui, but really wanted more freedom from a hotel environment and due to an injury we had to change our plans on short notice and Lynn was extremely helpful. We especially enjoyed how quiet it was and easy access to restaurants shopping, etc. there were only two of us, but it could easily accommodate 6 family members. We were celebrating our 75th birthday's and the 2nd floor location was not an issue. We loved it and hopefully will be back next year!!

My fiancee and I had a perfect stay in Studio #48D! Gorgeous views, very well maintained grounds, and within walking distance of pools and the beach. The unit was clean and well equipped, with beach equipment and household necessities.The air conditioning and laundry machines worked with no issues. Love this unit for its location and amenities. We are tall people so love a KING bed. The topper on it made it a little too soft for us, but AC in the room makes it so nice for sleeping. The lanai is our favorite spot in this unit. The breezes, the views, the proximity to beach and pavilion, and being in the heart of Wailea make it an ideal stay on Maui.

Yes, views were really great, you could see the early risers out on the water and some white caps when it was windy, the unit was nicely done though some things could have been better. The lighting was inadequate if you wanted to read on the sofa in the evenings, need better overhead lights. There were too many light switches to remember which ones to use so the labels really helped. The electric shades in the living room and bedroom were stuck in the down position so our views of the ocean were a little limited in those areas. The on site caretaker was responsive as was the owner. Altogether we had a nice stay.

Wow!!! What an amazing find. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and will be coming back for sure. I cannot say enough good things about this property. The location was just amazing and the quiet pools were truly quiet, plus you could see the ocean from the pool that’s was a minute walk from the condo.Everything was clean and so well stocked with essentials. After a long flight is was so nice to come to such a beautiful find. The condo was clean, updated, located in a great area and the host had AMAZING communication. The clientele that stays/owns condos in this complex were amazing! We met a few owners and had a great time chatting. Can’t wait to go back.If you book, don’t miss breakfast at Kīhei Caffe, Malasada’s at Sugar Beach Bake shop and the south Maui food trucks. I can’t wait to book this exact vacation again.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property for our 3 week stay. It was conveniently located, just a quick walk to pavillion pool and beach located in front of property. Beautiful view from lanai. Close enough to hear the ocean waves. I enjoyed breakfast on lanai most mornings. Bed was super comfortable along with bedding and pillows. Kitchen was equipped with all the essential equipment. Beautiful view from kitchen window. Living room furniture was comfortable to lounge on in the evening. We loved the sliding glass doors in living room, providing a beautiful view to the outside. Nice beach chairs and cooler which was convenient to carry drinks and lunch to the beach. Overall, we loved everything about this property. We felt right at home which made it difficult to leave even after 3 weeks. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful condo, very clean & comfortable! Was the perfect place to come “home” to at the end of each day. Gorgeous ocean view from the kitchen and lanai. Short walk to the pool and beach, which was also gorgeous. The grounds around the condo are lush and well maintained making even the walk down to the pool and beach a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Short drive into Kīhei for food, and short drive to many more beautiful beaches nearby. There definitely is road noise like I saw in some other reviews, but it didn’t really bother us. If you keep the bathroom doors closed it helps reduce the noise and helps keep the condo cooler if you have the air conditioning running.

This was my 2nd time in Weilea Ekahi, first time at this unit...it was perfect. The location, cleanliness, communication, amenities in the apartment...everything was better than expected. We will absolutely plan to return and hope to stay in unit 8E again! I would 100% recommend it to anyone!!

Great place for a couple. I would not recommend renting for 3 or 4. The hide a bed was outdated and not easy to operate. The place needs updating. Very accommodating in amenities. Good location for beach access. First time staying in Wailea after many trips over 15 years where we saw insects inside.

There's a lot of noise at night with the condo being close to the road. The kitchen pans need to be updated. Nice appliances. The pool and common area were closed to guests for two days that week. It would have been nice to know.

The 180 view of the ocean was amazing..For a family of 5 it really helped having the full kitchen and barbecues to feed a hungry family. Loved being close to Kihei for special treats and coffee. Everyone was sad to leave. Mahalo!
