Our vacation at Mauna Lani was fabulous. Cheers to Steve and Maryanne for having us. This property is clean, very well stocked, and nicely maintained with care as mentioned by other reviews. There is easy access to all vacation amenities, grocery stores, shopping, resorts, beaches, amazing restaurants, etc. We loved the quick sushi and poke selections at Foodland store on way home from exploring. The swimming pool on property is very nice, private, and close by. We are a family of four with teens. We are very discerning with respect to where we stay. This home had separate space for all of us to relax, kick back, break from each other to rest up, read a book, watch a show, sit on the lanai and BBQ, etc. Us dads get to enjoy time off from work too, so nice to have elbow room as needed. We’ve been traveling to Hawaii the last several years during our kids’ spring break, staying on Kauai near Poipu Beach. We picked the Big Island this year which is just as cool and amazing as beautiful Kauai, maybe even better. We would stay here again for sure.

There were however a few issues with bugs and the roof leaked inside a little bit when it rained. Never heard from property manager which would have been helpful to answer questions about the high end gizmos in the house, e.g. the DeLongi espresso machine. Very comfortable and extremely quiet part of the neighborhood. While the house is over 20 years old, it has been very well maintained. Took advantage of the golf package which is a nice added amenity.

The house was the perfect home base for our family. It’s more luxurious and spacious than the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. So nice to all be on one level. Beds were super comfortable. These Village units are solidly built and very comfortable. Each bedroom is a master with their own bathroom, walk-in closet, and comfortable beds and linens. The unit perfectly outfitted with everything you will need from beach chairs, towels, bikes and boogie boards. This unit is very well located as it backs up to the golf course with mountain views on the upstairs rear lanai porch. Highly recommended!

Our stay was so wonderful! The home was so clean and nice it made us feel like we were staying at a luxury resort. The house was stocked with anything you could need - beach supplies, snorkel gear, and random food items which is always nice. Our only criticism is the 5 min drive to the private beach club. We mistakenly assumed that access to a private beach club meant we were within walking distance to the beach. It just made us plan out our beach days a little more.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home in Mauna Lani. Robert, property manager/owner was very attentive with quick responses before and during our stay.The home fit our three couples with room to spare. Each room is well appointed and the kitchen is one of the best fully stocked kitchens we have experienced. FIrst of all I will say that the rental company was very responsive and fixed things quickly, however I was incredibly disappointed with the cleanliness of this condo. The carpet is absolutely disgusting with pink stains in various places. We also found up to 10 cockroaches in multiple locations of the unit (downstairs bedroom, upstairs bathroom and in the family room area). They did come to spray while we were there once we let management know. The curtains downstairs did not open easily and when we tried the whole pole came down. The tv was challenging to use and everytime we had on normal tv it would switch over to a strange screen where we had to constantly press buttons to put it back on normal tv. Overall, the price we paid for this unit was over the top considering these different issues. I highly recommend getting the carpet cleaned as that would make a big difference for this unit.

That was my fault. The home was well stocked with lots of plates, glasses, silver, etc. we loved the guest rooms with their own bath.

The five star rating was location and wheelchair accessibility. Location was perfect for us--- Hole 4 of Mauna Lani North golf course. There isn't any ocean in site but with a private pool and hot tub it didn't seem necessary. Very little communication with hosts so we didn't know how to heat the pool. The accessibility was really good considering it isn't listed on their post. Since we have a wheelchair bound person we gind we usually just have to look through the pictures. No steps to entrance to front or back of house. Large walk in wheelchair accesible shower. There was a shower chair available but it was too low. We found other options. The place worked out great for us.

Great communication on their part. I received emails and texts which I appreciated. Instructions were clear and questions answered quickly. The home was clean and very functional. It had the cooking supplies that we needed, I enjoyed using the grill. The beach towels were convenient and supplies in the garage were a nice touch. We loved the beach access. Wonderful condo that felt spacious for three couples sharing the space for a week. It has everything you need to take advantage of all that the Mauna Lani area has to offer. We enjoyed the private beach and tennis club particularly but also used the bikes and grill.

We had a great stay! Home was clean and well stocked. There was a very close store and pool was a quick walk and we could view it from the primary suite lanai. Everything was convenient and beds were super comfortable. We had immediate assistance when we accidently set the child lock on the beautiful cook top. Would definitely stay again. The host was incredibly kind, responsive and helpful. The property is gorgeous and comfortable. Just about everything needed is there, including games! This is a top notch location, and feels near to everything and yet secluded. Highly recommend the golf cart rental as well to cruise around the area. We hope to be back!

This was the nicest vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at! So much space, comfortable beds, everything we needed in the kitchen. The lanai was beautiful, we ate outside for every meal. The pool is a one minute walk from the back door. Beach club parking access was great! Otherwise there are many stunning beaches a short drive away. The grocery store is maybe a 5 minute walk away, which we loved (also ice cream, coffee and other shops/restaurants). Great place!!

The home was clean and beautiful. Great neighborhood and close to everything. I would absolutely stay again. The only recommendation would be new towels for the bathrooms as they were thin (the beach towels are perfect) and to update the shower head in the master bath. It was very grimy with poor water pressure because of clogged holes. I recommend this home. It is fully stocked, especially the garage.

Lovely property - perfect for a celebration trip! Hosts were very responsive to any inquiry, and very welcoming. This trip was in celebration of my husband's 80th birthday, and our daughter, her husband and 2 children (3 and 5) joined us. The layout of this home enabled the "older" folk to sleep downstairs, with the rest being upstairs. It was perfect - each room was well appointed, and everything so welcoming. The open layout worked well when everyone was in the big room. Everything that we needed was there.Good location, also - we had stayed in the area before, and were happy to get back. We were able to go to the beach almost every day, and the unit had everything needed for that activity. The access to the Private Beach Club really enhances the value of the stay. Lovely beach, great for kids, snorkelers and divers. Could not improve there.Everyone in our party had a absolutely magical time - many special memories created. Highly recommend.
