We typically stay in resorts when we travel to Hawai'i. This time we chose to try a vacation rental while searching for the perfect beach to plan our wedding. Megan's property is a cute ground-level 1 bedroom condo in a nice community of condos. All of the amenities are needed for you to stay in and cook, do laundry, or even hide from the winter rain. Megan was very easy to contact and even offered great insights to local beaches. We had a wonderful time and look forward to next year.

It started off with an easy booking and check in! We arrived and it was clean, we were able to check in a little early which helped with our bags and groceries. The amenities offered within the house were nice and it was just what we needed. Great location and we loved our stay…if only it could’ve been longer! ALOHA!

The condo was in a quiet location and walking distance (about a mile each way) to amazing places such as Queens Bath and Hideaways Beach. The short drive to Hanalei was a bonus.

The property was well maintained, and the full time residents were friendly and very informative. We felt like we were staying at a friends house in a neighborhood vs a resort, which is what we wanted.
In my opinion, the location can't be beat. It's close to some great snorkel spots, close to the village of Princeville and Hanalei, just an hour from the airport.
My wife and I will definitely book another, longer stay, in this quaint condo in Sandpiper village. Thank-you for having us.

We had an absolutely lovely 3 week vacation in this condo. The owners were great to deal with and communication was very good. The condo is clean, comfortable and spacious. It has a very nice lanai with table and chairs. We used the lanai everyday, it was great for sunrise and evening relaxing after a day of adventuring. The bed is very comfortable and we appreciated having the bedroom so if one of us was up early or stayed up late the other would person would not be affected. The condo has very good ventilation and an beautiful airy feeling due to all the screened windows. The pool area is well maintained as also has a hotub, bbq's, lounge furniture etc. The location being so close to Hanalei Bay we found to be one of the best parts....we found Hanalei Bay to be our favorite beach.
Book this condo with confidence....you will have a great place to stay.

Overall, the property was exactly what we were looking for. The owners were also VERY easy to work with and communicated very well with me. The only complaints would be a lack of trash bags or laundry soap and dishwasher detergent. The bed was super hard, but I understand some people like that. For us, it was too firm.

Location is great - close proximity to all you would want to see and do on the North Shore! Condo is just okay. Good for the price. It’s good for a place to sleep and eat which is all we needed it for. We were too busy exploring and having adventures. The bed is comfortable and there are lots of gear available from the rental - big plus.
However, condo is dated and could use some updates. New shower head and more fans. Also the bedding and towels smelled musty and overall the unit was muggy. A small window unit ac would go a long way. We didn’t watch much TV at all but the screen was green and the remote didn’t work well at all.
But for the price and the location - this is a great stay if you don’t plan to spend much time in the condo.

The place could use a thorough cleaning the floors were filthy. A/C would be an advantage but if not a better fan in the bedroom and livingroom area should be considered.

We had a good stay, The little extras made it very convenient, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, cooler, beach chairs. If we had to rent all that, it would’ve cost is well over $100 so that was definitely a great plus.

Can’t say enough how great Megan and Adam’s place is. It’s fully stocked for any visitor and has all the essentials! If you are coming to Kauai, be prepared for island weather, island life, and to adopt the energy of the island. Meaning, the island dictates! Loved staying here and will look to do so again

This condo was very nice for the 2 of us. Bed was comfortable and the shower was big. There was a living room area where tv was. The kitchen had pots pans and misc. utensils. It was close to the main highway and grocery store. The communication with Meagan was great. No issues getting in. The lanai had a storage box with all the stuff you need for the beach. Mask fins chairs etc. we would stay there again.

I was amazed we were able to stay at place with a dishwasher and washer/dryer combo for less than a hotel room! Some amenities were a bit outdated and older, but the place was still clean and everything worked well. It even included snorkel gear, which I was so happy to find and didn't need to rent. Adam and Megan were very responsive hosts, both before and during our stay.
My only minor complaint could be due to the timing of our stay. We arrived at the apartment complex after midnight, due to delayed flights and an hour drive from the Lihue airport. After dropping our bags, we find out the exterminators are coming first thing the next morning and the water might be turned off the day after that to fix some building faucets. I'm glad to hear maintenance is performed regularly, but it's an inconvenience I wasn't expecting in my vacation rental. It would be helpful if the owners could alert visitors of any maintenance during their stay, just so they can plan ahead accordingly.

This condo was very well located just inside Sandpiper Village. It is on the ground floor so no stairs to negotiate luggage up. The lanai has a gate to bring in beach/pool items to rinse off or dry. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make home cooked meals with Foodland supermarket just down the road at Princeville Centre. The tv drawer is full of DVDs. The in suite washer/dryer was nice for throwing in beach towels and sweaty clothes. There is also a bunch of pool / beach equipment to use, including snorkel gear and beach chairs. It was SO humid during our visit, it would have been nice to have air conditioning as the fans just weren't cutting it. Other than that, we had a comfortable stay.

What a great stay! The unit was very clean when we arrived and it was nested in a quiet resort community. The pool area was nice and the unit was within a 15 minute walk of restaurants, bars and shopping in Princeville and Hanalei Wildlife Refuge. The kitchen appliances were great for at-home cooking and it was really nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit to reduce the amount we had to pack. Lack of Air Conditioning was really the only drawback, but there's a standing fan and a box fan in the bedroom closet that helped with airflow. Parking was super convenient and it was a very walkable location.

I expected this vrbo to be great, but it exceeded all of our expectations! The space is much larger than it looks and the community makes it feel like this place is worth a million bucks! It’s surround by amazing food, views, golf courses and so much more. We had 4 people and there was PLENTY of space for us! Absolutely stay here

There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this place, we loved the location and the view. Everything was clean and the cabinets were stocked with all kinds of things. It is the perfect spot and best value for lodging on Kauai! Even though the unit does not have air conditioning, we never missed it, the fan in the bedroom coupled with the island breeze was more than enough to keep us cool. Would recommend to anyone and will be looking to stay here again next time we visit Kauai.

This one bedroom apartment is perfect size for a couple. We brought our 3-year old child along, and she slept on the futon in the living room— it worked for her, but I can’t say it was very comfortable/wouldn’t be comfortable for an adult. The kitchen had the basics, but lacked things like olive or cooking oil that I’ve come to rely on as pretty standard in vacation rentals.
Pros: it was great to have the beach gear, including beach chairs, boogie board, sand toys. Major plus.
Cons: the apartment itself was pretty noisy. We could hear conversations that were happening in the apartment next door as if they were in the next room! And maybe it was because we went over spring break, but there were several loud teenagers (I’m assuming) driving cars blasting loud music along the road right outside.
But overall, the apartment suited us fine and worked as a good jumping off point to explore the north shore. Location was great.

The condo was much larger than we expected and very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and that king bed was amazing. Of the three properties we stayed at, one on Oahu, this one on Kauai, and one on Maui, this one was the best! Clean & neat, well maintained, comfortable and inviting. Open and roomy feel, and nice to have the separate bedroom. A little awkward to watch TV across the room at an angle, but not a real problem, and not much they can do about that. Great communication with Megan and Adam and quick action to a minor issue we ran across. Easy access to everything we needed. Really, nothing negative at all to say! Thank you!!

Had a relaxing stay at this condo. It is located in a lower end complex with a fair bit of road noise and in very close proximity to your neighbors. The price reflects these things and it was clean and well equipped. It is in a great location to explore the northern end of the island. Appreciated the use of the beach gear.

This condo is in a great location for exploring the north coast of Kauai. Spacious unit, well appointed kitchen with everything we needed. Really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Had some trouble with the toilet plumbing upon arrival, however the owners were easy to contact, very responsive, and resolved the issue immediately by having a plumber on site early the next morning. Would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone visiting the area. Thanks to Megan and Adam for making our trip to Hawaii so enjoyable!

Beautiful and clean one bedroom apartment @ a great location with all the amenities one could think of. Few pleasant surprises for me were a hair dryer as I had forgotten, lot of useful information about Kauai and activities and finally the stuff for water activities.
It was close to restaurants and grocery store as well. Checkin/checkout was very simple. I will recommend highly

Can't beat this clean, convenient condo for the price. No AC, so a bit warm in July, but great setting and nice private patio. Only sleeps 4 if 2 are kids- couch/bed was too small for my 2 adult kids. But we made do for just 3 nites. Megan and Adam were responsive and easy to work with! I would return!

This condo is about 40mins north from the airport. A little ways away but worth the distance. The north shore is AMAZINGLY beautiful. Princeville had lots of shops, restaurants and markets.
The condo had a dedicated parking space that is a few steps from the front door. Inside is spacious and clean. The windows and fans gave it a nice airflow through out the place.
Kitchen was well equipped and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were nice and cozy. Meghan was so nice and helpful and she was easy to get in contact with.
The only negative thing is the washer and dryer had that old mold smell that stuck to our clothes after using it. Other than that this condo was perfect for us and we will definitely stay here again in the near future!
