Very well appointed apartment. Good for two people as there is only one king bed. Lots of hwy noise on the 4th floor but MKV is a terrific low density resort on the less busy stretch of Kaanapali beach. Great visit.

Our family spent a lovely, restorative 5 days at this condo. It was clean, fully stocked, quiet, comfortable, and spacious with lovely, garden-like grounds. Zero complaints!
The resort has a charming vintage feel while staying well maintained and up to date in all the right ways. The live music at the cafe created pleasant evening ambiance while our kids enjoyed some pool time. The sandy beach is gorgeous and there is excellent snorkeling just next door to the condos. A leisurely 20 min walk on the beach boardwalk will take you to Whaler's Village. Kind staff. Responsive, flexible hosts. We would come back!

We had an absolute wonderful time staying in this unit! The floor plan was very roomy, and we were so impressed and grateful for how well it was equipped...the beach chairs were loved and used everyday! There were even small ice chests available to use. We cooked everyday in the unit and found all items/utensils we needed. The bed (mattress) was very comfortable, which made our trip that much more relaxing. We found the owner to be extremely helpful and responsive, and when a question came up, she was messaging and calling right away with information. It was a delight staying in this unit, and we look forward to returning soon! Our thanks to Jennifer for being such a thoughtful host and making us feel so welcome!

Although this property isn’t exactly beach front and the decor is a little dated, it has a beautiful garden and Mountain View’s with slivers of ocean and has lots of space. It’s also an end unit which we loved. The on-site restaurant Castaways is amazing everything we had was fantastic! The pool is a nice size and the beach was great. Thank you for providing a great place for us to enjoy Maui!

The unit itself: quite spacious and has most of the amenities. It is located on an upper floor, corner unit. There are partial distant views of the ocean. We really enjoyed the fact that the condo is well stocked: beach chairs, cooler, kitchen, etc. My three primary complaints would be 1. The AC, 2. The shower (minor), & 3. The lack of refinement for the price paid. 1. The AC (both units) are just short of being a joke. We had them set at 65 degrees and the condo barely reached a tolerable temperature. The air wasn't remotely close to be 65 degrees. Thankfully there was a small fan I was able to use to make sleeping a bit more tolerable. 2. The bathroom/shower is nice/newer, but the combination of the showerhead and the glass partition allows for water to splatter on the bathroom floor. Soap dish fills with water. 3.The sliding doors didn't operate well. We couldn't access the balcony side. That was a bummer as we love sitting outside. I paid about $650/night when it was all said and done, and that is a lot of money for what we received IMO. If it were less money, it would likely be 5 stars. Higher price commands higher expectations.
The resort: Well kept resort &friendly staff. It has a great pool, but the cafe adjacent. The nice beach is a just a short walk away. Nothing ever seemed too busy with people, which we loved. Parking was easy with a short walk. It was awesome that the resort has designated spots for loading/unloading and luggage dollies.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo felt roomy yet cozy. All essentials were provided. And the beach chairs and cooler saved us from having the extra expense of renting them. I contacted the owner to see if the unit was available for early check in. And the host was very quick to respond. Thank you Jennifer. We hope to stay at your place again soon.

This was a great condo! We loved that we could walk to the beach from it and that it had two amazing pools. There was a grocery store just down the road and the kitchen was fully stocked with the equipment we needed to make most of our own meals. This saved us quite a bit. It was also nice that there were things like coolers, boogie boards, and beach chairs to use in the condo. Would definitely stay there again.

This unit was very comfortable and spacious and very well equipped. The cookware was excellent. There was a very panoramic (partial) ocean view all the way from west and north to Molokai and east to the mountains. We could watch the sunset from the sofa.
Jennifer was a wonderful host, and we have already booked to come back.

We had a great and relaxing time here at the Kaanapali Villas! The apartment was clean, it has all the necessary amenities including dishwasher. Nice, quiet, comfortable and a great view! Parking can be a little challenging at times. The pool was warm and the weather was mostly sunny. The beach was not crowded compared to the Sheraton resort ;).

The check-in process took longer as the arrival dates given to front desk was incorrect so they had to call the manager to verify. Also, the price paid from vrbo excludes resort fees that we had to pay an extra $25 per night that was not provided so that was unexpected. Besides that, everything went well. The staff was nice, pool is nice and the beach is just spectacular. The weather was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

Beautiful location and really nice condo. It’s laid out really well with the ability to create two separate rooms and privacy. The bathroom area is quite large with ample closet space. Beautiful views of the resort grounds and ocean in the distance from two large double-sliding glass doors. Beach access is superb, pool is beautiful. And prior to, as well as during the trip, the hosts were very responsive to any messages I sent.
My first time using VRBO so not experienced in what to expect but there were a few minor issues, The condo sleeps 4 and we were there for 8 days. There were only 5 bath towels. It would be nice to have at least two per guest. There is a laundry facility on the resort grounds where you can pay to do laundry, but that’s not really how I want to spend any portion of my vacation. The two very large, beautiful double sliding glass doors also have double screens. The screens were off-track and difficult to operate which was a little bit of a bummer. I reached out to the host and they did not have any kind of local handyman or contact at the resort to address anything like that. One of the closet doors was also inoperable. Some of the supplies were low as well, i.e. an open box of Kleenex that was already mostly used. We used the last of it and there was no replacement. Some cleaning supplies were low or empty too. This is meant simply as constructive criticism so I hope that’s how it’s taken. These are small things that would add a lot of value to the rental and experience…coming from a first timer. Overall it was wonderful and I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!
