Great stay. Place was fantastic and location is great. Only a couple things we would change if we could. Air conditioner being on a timing is a pain. Not a lot of natural light, but great walkout patio. If our kids were younger and carrying lots to the beach, it is a bit of a hike with the hill. Overall small things when staying in paradise.

Love this area! Lots to do within walking distance or a short drive. Quiet, tropical, five minute stroll to the beach each morning to see turtles. Then back to the lanai to enjoy the birds and shade. This unit is well equipped with great AC, or just open the doors and enjoy the tropical climate. Kitchen has everything and even a few generous extras that some don’t. Plenty of pool towels and beach toys. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property where host is super responsive, helpful & provided the details that guests would want during stay including beach chairs, beach towels, & cooler! The ground level lanai that seats 4 we used everynight. Pool area & lush grounds like a resort. 3 beaches walking distance along Kihei road along with shopping & restaurants. Great location. We would stay again.

My family and I (our 4 year old and 6 year old) stayed in the unit for over a week. It was very clean, quiet and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The family pool is just across the parking lot, great for the kids. The property management company was easy to work with and addressed any of our questions and concerns in a timely manner. There is no ocean view but the unit is within walking distance to the main road and public beach, even the kids could do the walk (may be a bit too far to walk if you are carrying a lot of beach gear). Was a lovely unit to stay in!

Nice little condo, second bedroom is very small with no window, closet or dresser - good for kids. Parking is great. Complex and pool are very nice. AC is ok but set high. Warm overnight/sleeping. Great patio area. Maui Kamaole complex is well maintained and close to the boat launch. Top floor residents are noisy walkers. Unit came equipped with chairs, beach toys and starter supplies, which was great.

Our family really enjoyed this vacation. As mentioned in other reviews, the unit is packed with beach equipment, making our stay more fun (for the kids) and comfortable (for the adults). We would definitely love to come back.

The Condo and owner were tremendous. Excellent location for evening sunset walks. Pools and spas were very convenient and clean. Had all the necessary needs for both the condo and beach play!
Only drawback we had was Vacasa management company did not supply enough washing machine/dishwasher tabs or trash bags for our length of stay and would not replenish. May want to bring your own.

This condo is beautifully appointed, fully stocked with everything you need for beach days from towels, sand toys, chairs, boogie boards, you name it—and fully stocked kitchen. The lanai is stunning. The complex is located across from several beautiful calm beaches, pools are much better than expected. Washer and dryer are a lifesaver. Will definitely return to this specific condo and highly recommend, especially with children of any age. Owners were responsive, understanding, and helpful. Repeat visitors to Maui on the beach described this complex as “gold” compared to other options nearby. Can’t recommend it enough! Quick distance to Wailea for amazing restaurants, and wonderfully located for walking or a 1 minute drive down the hill to beaches.

Stayed here for a week with family and was very comfortable. As soon as I we arrived I noticed how Immaculate the home is kept. Beds very comfortable. Furniture clean and comfortable. NO carpeting! Plenty of beach gear, chairs,towels,boogie boards. Lower level, was nice not having to climb stairs with all that stuff. Awesome patio in back with small private lawn. Short drive to beaches, restaurants, food store, shops. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

Where to begin. Check-in was poorly managed. Access code was never emailed prior to arrival, leaving us locked out upon arrival. No live bodies on premises to assist. Called property manager and got a voicemail. Finally got a call back and gained access approx an hour after arrival.
The mini-split A/C unit in the master bedroom was not working. Unit was finally partially repaired on the forth day of five-night stay but remote controls that allowed setting temp for both master and second bedroom mini-splits were missing, which meant that neither unit was ever able to adequately cool the respective rooms. Also, both units were on dial timers that only lasted about five hours, so around 3:00am the units shut off completely, which meant you woke up sweating and had to get out of bed to reset the timer. The timers are noisy to set so it woke my spouse and son every night. It's just unacceptable to have a non-functioning A/C system in a tropical climate. Also, the owners offered no concession after communicating all the issues we were experiencing.
Other things to note: it's a first floor unit so you get noise transmission from second floor when it's occupied and ocean views are quite limited.
On the plus side, the kitchen was well appointed, there was a generous sized TV that worked well, nice patio off the main living area with table and chairs suitable for meals as well as sun loungers. Location is very good with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and it's walking distance to a nice beach.

We stayed beginning of September and were very pleased with our accomodations. The condo had everything we could have needed for our stay. And the phone and internet were a great asset to allow us to stay in touch with home. The location was ideal for us, easy access to what we needed. Well kept and maintained grounds. The laundry was an added bonus, and if we were to return, we would pack half the amount, knowing we could throw a load in if needed. The beach accessories were available, but we only used the chairs which was great, but we did make daily use of the small cooler during our travels throughout the day. The condo is just like in the photos, and sitting on the Lanai in the morning watching and listening to the birds was great. Also, the tag for the grocery stores was absolutely wonderful and helped when buying our supplies. Our location was quiet, and appreciated. Have already recommended this condo to two other couples who are looking to go to Maui.

We had the pleasure of staying in this unit during our first vacation to Maui and it helped make our trip that much better. It was very spacious for our family of five, clean and had lots of light. The unit itself is fully equipped with extra linens, beach towels, bath towels, sand toys, boogie boards, coolers, lawn chairs - more things then I have in my own house! the laundry facilities are handy and come with a starter kit for that and dishwashing - we were there for two weeks and it was more than enough.It is ideal to not have to bring,rent or buy all those extras. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped making meals in easy. The kids loved the two big screen TVs and the DVD player made downtime that much easier. The grounds themselves are immaculate - one of the best developments in the area. The unit is close to both pools, which are beautiful and great places to meet neighbours or for the kids to make friends. It's close to shopping, restaurants and literally a two-minute drive to any one of the five amazing beaches in the area. The owners are extremely responsive and helpful, as is the management company on-site. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo to friends considering a trip, and look forward to booking it again for ourselves sometime in the future.

Our family of four stayed in this condo during our spring break vacation. I think it was just about perfect in every way. Beautifully decorated, clean, lots of space, comfortable beds, well supplied kitchen, washrooms, and beach toys, and a great location in the complex as it was close to both of the great pools. We liked that it was on the ground floor so the kids could play out on the lawn (they made some new friends with the neighbouring renters) and were surprised by how private it was due to all of the nice hedges and plants around the lanai. The owners were very friendly and good to deal with as well throughout the whole booking process. I would highly recommend it (unless you want it on the same days we do because we plan to be back!)

I came across this condo by chance and how glad I am that I did. This condo is in the middle of everything. You can walk to shops, Restaurants and the all important... the beach. This condo was immaculate. There were six adults in the same condo for 11 nights and we had plenty of room. The pull out couch was better than my own bed. We had more than enough beach chairs and beach towels. The outside area was used everyday for breakfast and we sat out there everynight before we went to bed. I would recommend this condo to anyone and I have alread. I would recommend anyone that stays there to walk across the street to the beach for amazing sunsets. Aloha and I can not wait to come back!!! Thank you

How lucky we were to find this condo! We were a group of 6 adults (parents with 2 grown children (late 20's) and their partners) and the condo was spacious, comfortable, well organized, well equipped and located in a beautiful development. This condo was wonderful for our group. There was enough room for us all to gather together and space for one to find a little alone time. Threre was nothing lacking - from boogie boards to coolers.
The decor of this condo is very nice - furniture that was well chosen for the space, comfortable and of a high quality.
The bathrooms were lovely-both loaded with extra towels, all the beds including the sofa bed were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with matching dishes, cutlery etc.(not left overs).
I really enjoyed having the lanai on the ground floor rather than a balcony. It made it an easy walk to the pool and we could spread onto the lawn to catch the sun when we wanted it. The surrounding trees made it so private and cozy feeling yet the expanse of the lawn gave us extra room.
We had a fabulous time in Maui. We had not taken a lengthy "family" vacation with our children since we visited Disney World when they were in their early teens so we all treasured our time together. The setting made it all that much more enjoyable.
Maui Kameole was recommended to us but this particular suite was an absolute find. Thank-you so much for the opportunity to stay there !

Thank you for a most wonderful stay at your condo. The complex was gorgeous and meticulousy maintained. We had a switch shorting in the bathroom and it was immediately fixed by the repair department and that really impressed us. The pictures of the unit represent it very well. And we loved the beautiful dishes, serving bowls, and pots and pans too. Many thanks for beach chairs and boogie boards to use - they provided us all with so much fun at the beach. The condo is so close to so many beautiful beaches - we must have visited about 6! But, one favorite is the closest - Kamaole III. And you can walk there! This is a very clean and well maintained condo and beautifully decorated. Restaurants are pricey, but we found Cafe O Lei to be more moderate and good, also Five Palms has half price pupus (appetizers) with a drink in happy hour and we found that sufficient for our dinner. I should mention that the second bedroom is very small and has no window but the queen bed in there is comfortable.

Mahalo for a lovely stay in unit J~106! Our family loves Maui and we have stayed on the island many times; we have to say that your Maui Kamaole unit has been our favorite condo to date! About the condo itself..... The tasteful decor (just like the pictures) was much appreciated as was the spaciousness of the unit. The sunsets from the lanai were absolutely stunning and the pools at the Maui Kamaole are among the best we've experienced. We loved being able to walk across the road to Kamaole III where we snorkelled (saw several green sea turtles!), boogie boarded and built sand creations to our hearts' content. Thank you so much for providing boogie boards and sand toys for the kids. We really appreciated being able to borrow them for the duration of our stay! We highly recommend J-106! Look forward to returning!
