Polynesian Shores is an ideal place. It is a small community of locals that live there and guests renting. Gathering at sunset at the grill, hot tub or tables and benches along the water help create the community feeling. Small beaches to the left or right of Poly Shores' are accessible for snorkeling and turtle sightings. These wonderful turtles rest on the beach daily, inspiring awe and delight from a respectful distance. The condo is comfortable, well stocked and has a great view. We ate our meals on the back porch looking at the ocean. Both the bed and the pull-out couch bed are comfortable, sheets are soft.. The administration was wonderful and responsive any time we contacted them.

The property was clean, orderly, well supplied, relaxing, and most beautiful views across the property.We are a small family of 3 where with our 2 year old we loved the pool, grass area to run, and enjoy the relaxing ocean sights/sounds.Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast at our leisure with a nice hot cup of coffee and home cooked breakfast on patio while enjoying the cool breeze and beautiful scenery before each day's expedition.In the evenings we mostly did the same in preparing meals or enjoying tasty take-out after a long day out on the beach.What really came in handy were the provided cooler and ice packs in the freezer on our outings!Property is well maintained and would definitely recommend anyone considering in staying on Maui to strongly consider Polynesian Shores.I'll definitely be back with my family and look forward to creating more wonderful memories! We snorkeled right in front with many sea turtles.. the sunsets were amazing with an incredible view of the island of Molokai. We could listen to the ocean at night when we laid in bed. As much as I want to keep this my secret place that would be so unfair. The location was the best! The view from the second level is amazing. There is great snorkeling right out front with the most turtles you’ll see in one place. The sunset was fantastic every night. For this unit it had everything we needed. The unit was updated and most of all the beds were super comfortable. Very soft! Even the pull out bed had a perfectly soft mattress. They had a few beach chairs and beach mat a small cooler and beach towels. I know it must be hard to maintain nice things when you are renting but so far it seems guests have been very honest and the items stay put. The complex was very clean and all the guests were easy going. I have nothing bad to say. Thank you Bree for your quick responses.

Condo has great ocean view. It also faces the pool so we were able to watch our older kids from the balcony & living room. Condo is also located in a convenient area.
This place is not clean. Condo does not have AC but there are several dusty fans in the closet that you can use. There is a notice inside the condo explaining that there may be red sand from nearby construction. The red sand ended up everywhere, staining our clothing and shoes (still cannot wash it out despite many attempts). We couldn't close the windows to keep out the sand because there is no AC. We were constantly cleaning the floors, counters, equipment, our hands & feet. They really should add this warning in the booking description, so people know ahead of time.

Polynesian Shores is our go to property when we are in Maui and we have nothing but positive things we can say about the entire property in general and just love the quaint yet beautiful suroundings...There were only two things that my family commented on while staying in this unit that we wished could be a little different and that was the neighbor in the building north of this property has their TV blaring late into the night every night...and with all windows open it makes you feel like youre watching TV with them....also the upstairs of this unit does get stuffy even with the windows open, ceiling fan and two floor fans on-it was not horrible, but was some thing that we would have liked a little more cool...... We would not hesitate to stay in this unit again it is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable and the nicest unit we’ve stayed in at Polynesian Shores so far 🌺🌺🌺

We had such a lovely time staying at this condo! The sunset views from the grounds and balcony were wonderful. Great communication. Very family friendly property. I wish we knew there was a travel crib in the closet because we checked one on the flight but that’s just nice to know for the future. Would be great to have more sets of beach / pool towels (maybe I could have asked for them?) very easy drive to many beaches- Napili was our favorite! Would 10/10 stay there again with my family!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described, clean, and completely stocked with all supplies including towels and a full kitchen. The location is great and being able to see the sunset from the the backyard was a nice surprise. We snorkeled right from the property, and one of the highlights of the trip was swimming with turtles there! It is like having your own private bay and beach to enjoy. Everyone was so nice and a shout-out to Eric the property manager who was always working to make the grounds and pool manicured and inviting. Great stay!

We had a great time! Bree was super helpful. I text her once at 7am cuz I could t get the door to lock.. she responded right away.. and I just needed to learn how to lock the door.. only 2 negatives.. 1. People kept parking on the red zone right outside the master bedroom window, which made it difficult to get into and out of or parking spot. Plus made it noisy when my toddler was trying to nap. 2. Around 3 o’clock the condo gets blasted by the sun, and there’s no AC. It really needs a sun shade like some of the other units have to block that heat. Evwrything else was great! Everything we needed for the week was there!

Sea turtles every day on the beach and in the surf. Dolphins were splashing and spinning just off shore. The condo had chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach bag, tupperware, etc. The condo had so many items that made the stay more comfortable. Deb is amazing, she was helpful before and during our stay. She would give us tips on what to do and where to go. We are so lucky to have found this condo it’s views were incredible. We will definitely stay here again.

My fiancée and I spent 6 days 6 nights at Polynesian Shores in May 2023 in celebration of our baby girl Joy who is on the way in August. We both loved the unit and the complex in general. Having the full kitchen for me was a must because as a pregnant lady I have very specific schedule and preferences in food, and I wouldn't want to go out every single meal. So we ended up making local seafood and pancakes at home and sometimes went out.
The ocean view from the condo was absolutely gorgeous and I would go out to the shore to meditate and walk every morning. The condo was very conveniently located next to lots of good public beaches either direction (North or South), luau dinners, and just a short drive to Lahaina - a mecca for tourist shopping and eating out experience.
During our stay we couldn't figure out how to turn on the ceiling fan and upon contacting the management office, they sent their technician same day and he helped us out, so I was very happy with that quick service.
There's a really nice pool that we used a handful of times and got to talk to other visitors that happened to come and stay at the same place years on end. It seems like people who discover this place tend to come back again because they love it so much!!!
If you are looking for relaxing, friendly, comfortable, and family-oriented vacation, this is the perfect place to stay :) pregnant women know their comfy/safe and this is it !!!

The location is fantastic with a beautiful view of the ocean to wake up to. The space was clean and well lit with accurate instructions to access the space, parking, laundry etc. We stayed for 5 days hiking all over the island coming back to the comfortable bed and relaxing view of this condo. They had everything we need from beach chairs to umbrellas for the unannounced rain. It was a perfect and comfortable stay!

Polynesian shores is a magical place and really worth what you pay! The grounds are so beautiful and it’s quiet. The sunsets from the pool area are gorgeous and although the beach isn’t ideal for swimming, there are turtles everywhere! We got to see some lounging in the sand on the beach next door, and we even snorkeled with the turtles right in front of the property. At one point we were surrounded by over 10 as they were feeding! The unit is simple and easy, no expensive finishes but you don’t need that. It’s all about the relaxation. The access to Napili bay, kapalua, and Lahaina were great. Cheap grocery store just down the road (supermarket times) and a food truck park there as well. Just north down the road is a great little public beach. We just loved every bit of staying here! The laundry access was easy to do a load and the designated parking spot for our unit made life easy. I was worried about no AC for our June stay but there was always a sea breeze to keep us cool. The other guests and tenants here are all so nice and friendly too. We will be staying here again as soon as we can return!
