Beautiful location! To be so near the ocean was a treat! Property was fully stocked . We enjoyed the quaint family feel to the property and got to enjoy other families travel stories. Much nicer than the hustle and bustle of an overwhelming big resort. Would definitely return.

Amazing stay in such an amazing location! Practically never left the balcony the whole trip. The kitchen is updated which wasn't in the pictures so that was a nice surprise. Definitely saving this condo for future trips.

We had a great stay in this unit. It’s very pretty, and well-kept.... views are unbeatable. Polynesian Shores is our go to property when we are in Maui and we have nothing but positive things we can say about the entire property in general and just love the quaint yet beautiful suroundings...There were only two things that my family commented on while staying in this unit that we wished could be a little different and that was the neighbor in the building north of this property has their TV blaring late into the night every night...and with all windows open it makes you feel like youre watching TV with them....also the upstairs of this unit does get stuffy even with the windows open, ceiling fan and two floor fans on-it was not horrible, but was some thing that we would have liked a little more cool...... We would not hesitate to stay in this unit again it is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable and the nicest unit we’ve stayed in at Polynesian Shores so far 🌺🌺🌺

Was looking for a place with great views and this property did not disappoint. Not only great sunset views but a stunning vista down the shoreline as well. Unit was clean, modern and comfortable with plenty of room for our family. The two-story buildings had a much friendlier feel that the taller condos down the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

We had seven staying at this rental ages 12 and up! Plenty of room for all with a king bedroom and attached full bathroom, queen bedroom, full bathroom adjacent, and two single beds with a double upstairs with its own full bathroom. The view was outstanding with the sound of the waves breaking throughout our stay and floor to ceiling windows with large sliding glass doors. A very private location and intimate grounds made our stay feel relaxing and like our own oasis. Inside a small closet we found two folding chairs and two camp chairs which we used throughout our stay. Friendly neighbors passed on some pool noodles and unused food items which was so thoughtful! Be aware the kitchen is on the small side but we happily made due. Lots of cups, plates, bowls, pans, etc to make cooking large meals easy! The grounds include a shower for the sand which inevitably travels back with you from the beach and shared gas grills for steaks and such. My teens enjoyed the pool and exploring the rocky beach for crabs and sea life. We saw sea turtles from our lanai! This location is a very short drive to many family friendly beach locations such as DT Fleming (shade) and Airport Beach (easy snorkeling). We would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect, a quiet 3 bedroom retreat just a few steps from the Ocean. There is limited access to the ocean, but close to a very small and private beach area that we shared with sea turtles every afternoon.Just a few minute drive to Front St in Lahaina, my family enjoyed having the space to spread out, highly recommend this rental.

The view!!! We came during whale season and could see humpbacks beaching in the distance from inside the living room! Just wow! The beach is rocky and difficult to access from the condos, so if you’re wanting to swim in the ocean, plan to drive to one of the many public beaches. Parking was also a bit tricky, having rented a minivan, the one parking spot designated for this unit is very tight getting in and out. But the condo was otherwise nice.

Our family has traveled the world and we always start our journey in a better mood and hopeful anticipation when we arrive at a spotlessly clean unit - and unit #201 does not disappoint. The corner unit location of #201 allows you to view an unobstructed view of Molokai and Lanai, not to mention any whale and her baby that may be in sight. We’ve seen spinner dolphins parading just hundreds of feet off shore and the massive sea turtles come up on the shore to soak up the sun. We love Unit #201 and love the recent updates - feels fresh and inviting. Polynesian Shores grounds are immaculate, dotted with tropical plants and blooms. Someone on site strategically places orchids on tree trunks with passion and care. Even without A/C, this unit is always breezy and in January/February/March (our favorite time to come), we have to sleep under blankets at night. This is a quiet, casual place to relax and watch the best sunsets in Hawaii under the glow of the tiki torches with happy people enjoying life. There’s also and pool, attached hot tub, and a ample, ready to use gas grills poolside.

This is a beautiful property location...the ocean is right at your doorstep and wonderfully loud! The property is well maintained, well furnished and whale watching was great. The pool was in sight of the condo so you could observe the activity.
There are a few things that might impact your trip...
1. Parking is limited to one vehicle,
2. The third bedroom is an open loft (sleeps 4) so late sleepers may have issues with the kitchen noise, however, there is a bathroom in the loft,
3. The communication for payment came from a separate email...escapia.com which went directly to my junk mail resulting in a missed communication ( one hour window to respond) for payment also, payment did not show up as paid on my Vrbo account....However, the manager and company were responsive and there were no issues except for my panic attack.
4. The best/safest/snorkeling for children while we were there was at access to the Kapalua Bay Beach (Parking lot 99 Coconut Grove Ln) it is about 3 miles away but the parking is really limited. If you go early ...or come after noon you may be able to secure a space as folks leave. Otherwise you will have to park on the highway or go up the hill across the road for pay park.

We would definitely stay again. We stayed at 3 different places while in Maui and our family agreed this was our favorite (despite staying at a resort with water slides!). Great space for a family. It is a little warm upstairs with no air conditioning and the master shower could use an update, but overall we were overjoyed with our stay at this condo. Watching sunsets swim every night was the highlight. It was fun to see the sea turtles and crabs in the evening in front of the condo as well. Kids swam in pool and had no complaints. Great location!

Polynesian Shores was the perfect place for a family vacation. We had 3 couples and a 19 month old daughter/grand daughter. The space was very adequate and the wrap around deck provided a lot of extra space. The grounds provided walks, swimming, snorkeling, football tossing and beautiful sunsets. We cooked a high percentage of our meals in the kitchen that was equipped with all the essentials. Thanks for a great family experience. If I was to make one change it would be a drop down sun shade on the deck to alleviate the afternoon westerly heat.

This was a family vacation of four generations!We had a great time. We especially loved being so close to the water and great location in general. Bree was terrific, very responsive to our needs. One draw back, we did not feel that the resident manager was good about children sharing the property. We respected adult time in the pool and were considerate around the grounds. I suggest it is better suited to adults.
