You can snorkel right off the shore, and check out the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles as they frolic around the reef! The heated swimming pool is an amazing spot to spend your days relaxing in the breeze or watching the sunset!

BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

We loved our stay, and were very comfortable in our rental. Everything we needed was provided, and the access to the pool, hot tub, and fantastic view were everything we'd hoped for! The only reason we gave four stars for "communication with property manager" was that our door lock had some issues, and after we called to explain the problem, we didn't hear back from them. We eventually figured out another solution, but it would have been nice to have some follow-through.

We battled cockroaches during our 15 night stay. When we arrived the fridge didn't work. We received a new fridge on day 6. This unit needs a complete overhaul. Cabinets are falling apart, tiles missing along trim in multiple areas, bathroom fan doesn't work, no water pressure, shower taps were loose, toilet seat had marks and chunks missing, pictures showed a sandy beach and there is no beach. We had to kill cockroaches daily, new hatches, mid sized and large. We had to wash our dishes before using them as the cubboards at black specs everywhere ( cockroach feces?). The property management company did everything to support us but had to wait on the owners for approval of the new fridge etc.

This unit was great for the price. Very clean and well stocked wit ample cooking supplies. Was very quiet community especially considering we were right next to the parking lot. Would definitely book again. Thank you for sharing your Ohana with us.

The condo was very clean and a great location. The view was a pleasant surprise versus the pictures. The pool, grills, and laundry machines were all well maintained. The only negatives we experienced were the mattress was fairly old, used, and uncomfortable because there were significant indents, and the AC was not on very high and it got pretty warm. I called the property management maintenance contact to ask them to help fix the AC and the bathroom fan that started making an odd noise, but didn’t receive a call back. We would stay at Polynesian Shores again but not this unit unless the AC and mattress were fixed.

We had the pleasure of staying at (one eleven) in March of 2019. The unit was clean and well equipped. We did not find the road too noisy as others complained about but did have the windows closed for most of our stay. The unit is in a high traffic area during the day but any noise from the traffic (foot and car) is at the back of the unit. The grounds are well kept and the clients at least during our stay were quiet and polite. The manager from the property stays on top of things and does a great job. The unit is close to shopping and just south (walking distance about 1 km) is a great coffee shop. My wife and I spend a reasonable amount of time sitting on the lanai and watching the humpback whales in the ocean. We also used the poolside BBQ a number of times which are modern and clean. Only thing I would change is to add a hot tub by the very well maintained pool :)

We were happy with the condo. It was clean and neat. I would consider updating the mattress to the bed as it has worn past it’s time. But overall still happy with the experience and will consider staying again.

The condo itself was in pretty good condition. It was small, but kept up pretty nicely. The biggest bummer was the condo is on the corner of the building with a parking lot on 2 sides. The bedroom is right in that corner, making for a really loud sleeping space. There isn't any A/C, so you kind of have to keep the windows open, but when the windows are open you can hear everything in the parking lot and the street that is about 50 feet away. Don't let the pictures of the sandy beach fool you. Directly below the condo is nothing but large lava rocks. The little sandy spot shown in the picture is below the next condo over, and the tide is almost always covering it. The closest real beach with public access is about 1/2 of a mile away. The location of the condo is ok. It's not in a busy area, so it isn't really busy. That's also a bad thing because it's a long walk, or a drive to nearby restaurants and shopping. Overall, we would not suggest booking this condo. There are better condos in the area for similar prices.
