This property is exactly as described. The ocean view is incredible. Directions were perfect and great communication from Adele with all the information. We really appreciated having an assigned parking spot so we never had to drive around looking for a spot. The condo was clean and had everything we needed and more. Beds are very comfortable . We were a bit concerned that there was no AC, but the breeze that comes through was so good we didn’t feel hot at all at night. They have ceiling fans and extra fans in bedrooms. The complex had a mix of young families and seniors. It is a very quiet place!!! We appreciated this but it is a strict 9pm quiet policy. We enjoyed Morning coffee on the deck watching so many whales and enjoyed the pool and hottub as well. There is no beach however we felt the nearness to the ocean made the quick commute to a beach worth it. Would definitely book this place again and highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay here at this property for my self and my kids. We have stayed at this complex years ago and always wanted to come back. This unit is as described, beautifully remodeled, welcoming, and with all the amenities! We enjoyed having the use of beach chairs and umbrella. The Kitchen is very nicely equipped as well. Beds are all very comfortable. There is no AC in these units but I like it. Plenty of fans and with all the windows wide open at night feeling that Hawaiian air is amazing! Great communication from the owner too. We accidentally left some clothes in the unit and she was very accommodating to help us get them back. Really appreciated that. We will definitely be back!

The condo is bright, airy from the high loft ceilings, and a great style/quality to the modern remodel. We loved the location as we went both north and south easily to different restaurants, activities and beaches.

The view was amazing, location was excellent, the condo was stocked with everything possibly needed and was very nicely decorated. Beds and pillows were comfy. I’m from Texas and was a bit worried about no A/C but we visited in March and never even missed it. Great trip

This condo was recently remodeled and they did an amazing job! We had plenty of space with 4 adults and a 1 year old baby.
We saw so many whales from the balcony/lanai. All day long you can constantly see whales breaching in the distance. The whales made our stay such a special and unique experience for us.
We kept the windows open at night because there was no air conditioning, but the condo community is very quiet at night and all you hear are the waves. We never had any noises at night that woke us up. There was a good breeze throughout the unit and the temperatures got below 70 degrees at night so it wasn't an issue for us.
Parking is very easy, but there are some stairs you need to take to get down to the unit and some stairs to get up to the condo unit.

We stayed just short of a week, and it was excellent! There were four adults and plenty of room for everyone. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice and clean. It was easy to get to everywhere we wanted.

However there is no air conditioning and when we went to turn the fans on in the rooms there was no fan in the master bedroom like it shows in the pictures. So no air conditioning and no fan in that room.

Everything here was sublime! The view is incredible. The accommodations were just as expected. It was clean, well thought out, well appointed. Check in was easy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The photos show exactly what you’re getting. We saw turtles from the property, and whales in the distance. The sunsets were simply amazing. It’s quiet, uncrowded, and serene.

This is a very nice small condo, super clean and well equipped, with a foldout sofa more comfortable than most. Size-wise it would be a crowded for 4 adults although doable (we were 3). The crowning glory is the lanai (balcony) directly over the water with an incredible view. We could spot sea turtles feeding below us and gaze out across to the volcano soaring over Maui, we loved eating our breakfast out there every morning. The neighborhood is very meh - the Maalaea harbor and aquarium are walking distant, it’s convenient in that both South and West Maui are equidistant (20-25 min away) but it itself has no real beaches, restaurants, (except the aquarium one) or shopping, just a bunch of perfectly decent concrete condo buildings with little ambiance. Still, overall a good value, and did I mention the view?

We stayed here in March 2021. The condo was very clean, and had one of my favorite kitchens. We cook on vacation and most kitchens have warped pans and dull knives, but this one was fabulous. It had everything you’d need and all was in great condition. There was enough room for everyone to have their own space and spend time together inside and out. We all ate at the kitchen island or on the patio, and played games at the same spots. There was a small cordless vacuum that was handy for keeping the floors sand free. We left our shoes at the door, but you know how sand is. The master bedroom had really soft sheet and a comfortable mattress. We really enjoyed our stay and had fun watching whales from the balcony.

We had a very nice stay at this condo. It was very well equipped, we weren't missing anything. We made use of the back pack chairs, the pool the short walk to the small beach, all the cookware. We bough some Maui Gold pineapples and had a bit of a go at cutting them but otherwise we really appreciated all the ammenities. We wanted for nothing. THANK YOU!!

First let me begin by saying my family's been coming to Maui for 20 years and I have stayed almost everywhere in Lahaina. I have stayed at Poly Shores before and this unit was far better than the last one we were in. It was nice to have a functional kitchen (needs a new teapot)! My folks stayed downstair and we stayed up. I guess I didn't read the description because I was shocked that it has very steep steps, not good for some, we just walked up and down carefully (we're 55 and athletic). Also, you can see into the loft from the grounds so we had to hang blankets up for privacy (I would hang sheers if it were my place). It was really hot up there but it was managed with the fans. The beds in both rooms were comfy and that is big for us, as were the pillows!! The bathrooms were decent and the linens were great! Love the extra touches, nite lights and good plug in for devices next to the beds. The view is awesome, I painted every morning while waking. The living room needs more comfortable furniture and there is only one tv. The unit was fairly clean, and while I wouldn't want to stay upstairs again (steps) I would stay again if it was just my husband and myself. This unit is great for young families and if it's just two people visiting. I'm giving it a thumbs up!

This condo is located closer to Kahana, and has retatively easy access from the parking area (some stairs). Newly renovated, and incredibly clean.... as in meticulous. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are newer and comfortable. The layout is awesome for a family: master downstairs and another full bedroom and bath in the loft. The balcony and view are spectacular. Amazing sunsets and a table for 4 to sit comfortably outside. No AC, but if you open the windows the tradewinds cool off the upstairs unit nicely.
We’re a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys and felt very comfortable (plenty of space). We all agreed this was our favorite condo we have ever stayed in, while in West Maui. I highly recommend and we will be returning!

The pictures online shows how perfect this condo was. The beautiful breeze that flows through there off the ocean was perfect, better than any commercial air conditioning. Even thou there is an air conditioner fan available it was not needed. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you may need to cook.. Both bathrooms were very clean and well designed, with hair dryers and plenty of towels. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The complex was very quiet even thou it was fully booked. Perfect for us we like it quiet. The area around the complex had coffee places you could walk to if you chose to. Safeway and ABC stores a short drive. Which we found better than stocking up with food you could not consume in a short 6 day visits. If you needed the louder side of life you agin for a short drive, you walk front street where you will find the boutiques and restaurants you may want. If you would like even higher end stuff there is Whalers village 15min drive. I can't say enough about this condo perfect location, excellent place to stay. We will stay there again

We loved our stay here. The view is just what you see, the grounds are well kept and it was quiet & slow paced...we needed that. The condo was well stocked with items I truly appreciated from guidebooks, to games, from spices to saran wrap, and cleaners. Thank you!! We also soo appreciated the beach chairs and used them nost everyday. I love those simple things, and hope others would never steal them. My kids even love the fans for their comfort!!
Everything felt really clean, and it was decorated and updated nicely, without clutter. My only wishes were to have our own washer and dryer in the condo for towels, and even a lounge chaise for the deck. But those are not huge problems. :)
Thanks for sharing your place we loved the views, the turtles, and ease of parking at your place. Also note... that your parking space matches the room number, and not what was given--we figured it out easily.

Overall we had a great stay. This place had a great view and is in a great location. It did get a little hot and there is no air conditioning. The beds were comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed including beach chairs, beach umbrella, and sand toys for our son.

My husband and I loved that it was quiet and serene. I couldn't get enough of hearing and watching the ever changing surf. I Could have sat there the rest of my life. We would just sit and watch the sunset every night with quite a few of the other guests. We met such nice people young and old. The very quick walk down to the beach was so convenient for us. We didn't have to get in the car and drive anywhere. The added bonus of the turtles 🐢 on the beach for several days couldn't be beat. We grilled out almost every night and never had to wait for grill space. The condo itself was quite spacious and very comfortable. We are already planning a second trip hopefully this winter.

Fell in love the minute I opened the door with such a breathtaking view. Had absolutely everything we needed and Adele was amazing to work with answering questions sometimes within minutes!
Would recommend this property to anyone. Close to grocery, dining, snorkeling, boogie boarding (everything our family needed).

Amazing views, enjoyed coffee in the mornings and cocktails in the evening on the lanai. Clean condo. Not having ac wasn't that big of a deal as condo has great airflow with windows and screen doors. Definitely will be back!

When we arrived at this condo, we were unexpectedly surprised to open the drapes and see the ocean, this is no peak-a-boo view.. this is it! The ocean view from this condo is beautifully framed by palm trees. The condo itself was well equipped with everything needed, and we appreciated the welcome goodies. We enjoyed snorkeling with the resident sea turtles, and could view the humpback whales right from the condo and pool. This is a nice quite complex, close to Kaanapali whalers village. We took a drive up to Haleakala one morning and found we needed reservations to enter the park, which we didn't know, we had gotten up at 3am to go there.. other than that, we enjoyed touring the island, the shops/restaurants on Front Street in Lahaina, and found the trip to be an amazing time, we will return.

Our time here was fair overall. Maui is beautiful and the condo is in a great location, well stocked and nicely decorated, albiet a little dated. On our second day we noticed a medium sized cockroach in the was room, followed by multiple smaller ones throughout the entire house. We simply hope that this is addressed as this would have been a 4 star stay without the bugs.

Very pleased with location of property, lovely view and well stocked condo. We were a party of 4, and the condo was spacious, and allowed us to eat breakfasts on the porch, watching the whales, kayakers, paddle boarders and some snorkelers go by. Had a relaxing time by the pool and even joined in some aqua aerobics classes. Property was well maintained, and provided a restful week with beautiful sunsets and many turtle viewings. We enjoyed our stay at the Polynesian Shores condo. The condo was everything we expected. It was clean, and well equipped for cooking and just relaxing. Beautiful morning view of surfers and turtles. I do wish we had more time to just relax and enjoy the property. We did have a busy schedule planned. The very back of the property is ocean front but not sandy beach you can walk on. There is a small sandy area off to the side. Typical of many shorelines in Maui. There was a nice beach within walking distance that we visited one afternoon. The owners were very helpful and kind to answer any questions that we had. I would recommend staying here. We also stayed on Oahu a few day but overall we enjoyed our time in Maui the most. This was great for us as two couples that were celebrating our 25th anniversaries together in Hawaii. Thank You Adele for sharing your home with us as our home away from home.

We have stayed at many VRBO properties so I feel that we have a good comparison of properties to give a well trained review. The best part about this condo was the view, the heated pool, and the well groomed landscaping. I also enjoyed the balcony for its views and covered outdoor space that was great even when it rained. The owner of the property was easy to reach and was always responsive whenever I contacted her. The downside to the condo is that it is quite dated in terms of the carpet, furniture, bathrooms and kitchen. If the interior of the home could match the landscaping and view, this property would be a gem.

This condo was well-equipped and perfect for our family of three. Owner was very responsive and provided lots of helpful information to enhance our stay. The view is spectacular and the little near-by beach was great for exploring, turtle-watching and snorkeling. Condo is convenient to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. There's no A/C, which we knew going in, and it was actually fine except for rainy days because of the dampness. Everything inside was well maintained, although carpet and furnishings could use a re-fresh. Overall, we totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!
