We had an amazing stay. The place was fantastic. Great amenities, kitchen supplies, bedroom
/bathrooms, you name it.
We also reached out to the property managers for help with trying to get something we mailed to the unit and they were fantastic - extremely responsive and went above and beyond to help us.
This property is great for anyone. Beautiful view, floors, furniture and bathrooms are solid. Easily walkable to coffee or breakfast in the am, beaches whenever you feel like it across the street, and nearby activities.

David and Franca were wonderful hosts. They were very easy to communicate with and the condo was well appointed and had everything we needed. My daughter and I each had our own bathroom and she slept on the couch hide-a-bed, which was very comfortable. The lanai offers a beautiful view of the ocean and it is a short walk across the street to Kamaole Beach III. I would definitely stay here again.

The amenities and grounds were well kept. We enjoyed walking to Wailea and having the beach just across the street. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby or a short ride to Wailea. A bit further to Lahaina or Kaanapali - but worth it.
The condo was nicely appointed with everything there we needed.

We stayed here for our island-hop to Maui.
The location is pretty good.
Great breakfast, lunch and dinner options are really close (max. 5min by car). Beach within walking distance, the condo has a lot of beach equipment as well (umbrella, snorkel equip., boards, towels, chairs, etc if you need them).
Great kitchen, has everything you need.
2 bathrooms.
Living room area with TV, a couch and 2 rocking chairs.
There are a lot of seating options in the condo.
Bed is good.
All in all, a good condo!

Before arriving, we received a package that answered any questions we may have had and explained where to go and how to check in.
The residence was very clean, quiet, and well appointed. My only complaint would be that the snorkelling gear was caked in sand when we received it and there could be more hooks for towels in the bathrooms. Other than that, it was a great place to base our adventures out of.

We spent a week here and enjoyed all our time. Pictures are accurate representation of the condo. Beds (including sofa bed) were comfortable and everyone slept well. Well stocked with beach supplies (once we found them!). Hosts were extremely responsive to my emails with questions. Location is a quick walk across the street to Kam III beach and easily within walking distances to multiple restaurants, ice cream and shops.

ELL laid out condo overlooking a very nice pool as well as well manicured grounds/gardens. Our 4 night stay was just what we asked for. Close to many activities and excellent restaurants, or simply use the full kitchen in the condo (or the bbq’s provided at many areas on the grounds). Very relaxing and easy to deal with the property managers.

This unit was just as advertised! It had everything you might need to enjoy your stay. The beds were comfortable (including the pull out couch!) and the location is central - we loved sitting on the lanai and looking out over the complex. The owners were also excellent to deal with. We really enjoyed our stay!

This is a very nice condo, updated and clean.
Beautiful view of the gardens from your lanai, you can even see the ocean that is right across the street.
The big plus is the king bed, so many units just offer a queen size.
We love having 2 bathrooms and this resort offers 1 bed/2 bath units. Hubby has his bathroom and I have mine.
The owners are great with communication and got us a toaster when we asked for one.
Kamaole Sands is our favorite resort in Kihei. There was a $40 resort fee for our whole 2 1/2 week stay. A lot of resorts have a daily resort fee around $50 per day. This place is awesome!!
We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The condo was great! The property is gorgeous, impeccably landscaped, with beautiful water features. The complex has a very unique, inviting, and community-like feel to it. The sound proofing inside is nearly 100%. The walk or drive to restaurants and beaches is easy and quick. The view from the condo balcony is wonderful, even when rainy and overcast. We would definitely stay here again, in this condo or another! I have no complaints. The only thing I might add to these already great accommodations would be some more tropical soaps, shower products, etc. ..just to give a little more of a vacation, Hawaiian vibe. This would take it to the next level!

The property was clean, well appointed, and the mangers were very responsive. The only issue we had was some trouble operating the washing machine. Kam Sands is such a beautiful property with lots of things for adults and children to do.

This was our second time staying a Kamaole Sands, and our first in this unit. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the amenities plentiful, a view of the ocean from every lanai, and the condo units are spacious. We love being in Kihei as it is close to shopping and some of the best beaches on Maui.
We particularly appreciated all the updates to the unit, with stainless steel appliances, new tile floors and comfortable furniture. The king bed was firm but not hard, especially good if you have a tricky back. The owners have supplied lots of extras, including such small touches such as a coffee grinder and toaster oven. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs and water toys.
This is a property we definitely intend to visit again.

Loved our week long stay and would definitely return to this unit! Extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to beach equipment!

Furnishings comfortable. Linens, pillows and bath towels as previously mentioned by other guests are a bit worn.
Resort is beautifully maintained, quick walk to the beach and near by shops and restaurants. Not previously mentioned in listing or other reviews is a $40 resort fee payable to the Kamaole Sands resort on check in which is not a deal breaker, just unanticipated.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this Kamaole Sands condo unit during our 11 day stay in Maui. The resort itself is conveniently located close to Kamaole III beach and nearby restaurants and shops. The resort grounds are very beautiful and well-maintained. The view of the pool and nearby ocean from the lanai (balcony) was amazing. The kitchen was well-stocked and having two bathrooms was an added bonus. I would have given this unit the full 5-star review but the bed and pillows could have been more comfortable and the linens appeared worn and yellow. Nice, white linens would have made our stay more enjoyable. The kitchen and bathrooms could also have been a little cleaner, but this could be an issue related to the on-site cleaners. Great communication with the owner when we had questions. They were very helpful and very quick to respond, which was very much appreciated, especially when we requested for a beach cooler which they promptly supplied one for us within only a few hours.

Great condo that fit our family of four comfortably. You can tell the owners put great thought into preparing this condo for visitors. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, including spices, and cooking oils. Loved that there was storage containers. Once again, we had everything we needed for going to the beach. Appreciated that we didn’t have to buy boogie boards, like our last visit to Hawaii. The condo is in a great location in Kihei. Beach, restaurants, grocery shopping, all close and convenient. Loved the view from the balcony. It was beautifully decorated, lovely showers, pretty cabinetry and counters. It would have been nice to have a few more pillows, especially since we had the teens on the pullout couch. Overall it was absolutely wonderful! Oh, and the owners are lovely and communication with them was easy.

After a long day of travel we arrived after dark. First impression….I want to live here! The unit was just as it appears in photos. Everything clean and attractive. The next day in the light we could see the ocean over the beautiful grounds. Extra large photos made it seem we were looking out large windows onto beaches and sunsets. Hawaiian prints on dining chairs and furniture made this a special kind of retreat. Many spices and coffeewere available. Even olive oil which we always have to buy then leave behind.
The next day was the giant storm with pounding rain but we didn’t mind…safely inside.
Sidewalks for walks go miles and across the street from a beach. Loved having beach chairs and towels.
Loved this unit and would return in a heartbeat.

Great location across from Kamaole 3 beach in a carefully groomed complex with a pool and hot tubs. The condo has all the toys you need for the beach and is very nicely appointed.

This condo has everything you could ever need in Maui. The complex is literally 5 minutes to the beach, has 2 hot tubs, beautiful grounds, is walking distance to many restaurants. The condo itself is amazing. Every cooking utensil provided, with comfortable furniture and a big bed. They've even provided beach equipment like boogy boards and beach chairs. There is no better place to stay on Maui. I WILL be back.

Our stay at this updated, clean and comfortable property was wonderful. The condo has everything that you need for your vacation in Maui. Beach towels, beach chairs, . The kitchen is supplied with all you need to prepare meals and the grounds of the property are well maintained. It’s a plus that you have a free, assigned parking space. If anything, we wished we had a small cooler for ice to bring with us on road trips. We will pack one next time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to rent there again in the future. Note: make sure you have the code for entry prior to travel.
