The property was exactly as pictured. We were particularly happy with the kitchen! It had EVERYTHING we needed. It was also great having 2 bathrooms.
The beach closest to the condo was good for swimming and had great snorkeling.
We had a minor misunderstanding when checking in but the owner got in touch with us immediately and fixed everything.

The condo is beautifully remodeled and comfortable. We were so happy with all the helpful amenities offered- well-stocked kitchen, a great assortment of spices and cooking basics. We were thankful for the beach gear (and a short walk to the best beach in Kihei). A highlight was a working ice maker and water dispenser- such a perk in Hawaii. This property is obviously loved by its owner and they care about the experience of guests.

The place is just as depicted! So cute and clean, and well renovated. No bugs in sight and everything was great! The bed was super comfortable and the lanai was a favorite place to lounge! I feel like a cliche reviewer but honestly, when we come back we will for sure come back to this place. The hosts were easy to keep in contact and provided for all our needs. I booked this property for my family's visit to Maui and the feedback I had gotten from my family was what a beautiful property it was! The decor and look of the property were beautiful, down to the last detail. The property was a very short walking distance to the beach, which made for enjoyable early morning walks.
I was mostly impressed at the speed of communication with Curtis, Connie and their property manager, Ashley. We had some back and forth conversations due to a misunderstanding, but Curtis was extremely cordial and immediately put me in touch with Ashley (who was able to take action on the ground). Ashley was so gracious and sincere as we spoke about a plan of action. Curtis responded to my messages almost immediately, so it felt like we were having a live conversation. It was a guest's dream come true in terms of how these interactions should go because I've had interactions with hosts who were discourteous and extremely accusatory of me as a guest.
If I ever get the opportunity to stay at this listing again, I would definitely come back!

We have stayed in many different condos at this complex over the years and this one was the best, hands down. It is beautifully furnished and it is obvious that much care and attention went into the recent renovation..
There were ample towels and bed linens and the owners have everything labelled so it is easy to find what you need ( extra pillows, blankets, etc). The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and the pull out bed in the living room was also very comfortable.
The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could have wanted or needed. It was also nice to have spices and coffee provided.
It was lovely to eat outside on the large lanai and the outdoor furniture was not only functional, but comfortable too.
Communication with the owners was excellent. We will definitely be recommending this condo to our friends and family and we would love to stay here again.

This was our 13th stay at Kamaole Sands, first time in this unit. We will never stay elsewhere. This unit is exactly as advertised with amenities that I never even knew existed! Everything you might possibly need and want is here. The unit is beautifully renovated and decorated in a perfect location. This place is heaven! The owners are quick with their correspondence and were able to assist/accomodate us when our flights home got cancelled due to weather.
You will never find a better place to stay at Kamaole Sands!!

We spent a lovely week here recently…the condo is spotless and included every possible convenience item we could ever need. Every room is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is STOCKED! Plenty of towels, including beautiful beach towels. Loads of beach gear, including chairs, umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear, etc.! The mattress was a tad more firm than I’m used to, but overall…we had a fabulous stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking to be centrally located just a short walk from a lovely beach and awesome restaurants!

This recent reno has an interior decorator's touch, beautiful colours, every detail well thought out, and as well-equipped as our kitchen back home (even a few gadgets that we don't have yet!) It's close to the active pool area, but not as noisy as you might anticipate, and of course the K-Sands security shuts down all lanai noise promptly at 10pm for very peaceful evenings. Modern quiet aircon in living and bedrooms most appreciated as November was hotter than usual. This place nails every detail!

We have stayed at Kamaole Sands before so we knew that we loved the location and the complex. This particular condo of Curtis and Connie's was really lovely - clean, modern, comfortable, great appliances, and well stocked with condiments, utensils, and everything else we needed for our stay. We had our own snorkelling gear, but it was great to have the chairs and beach bag and there was tons more in there for anyone who needed all the beach stuff!! Great communication from owners and on-island contact Ty. Would definitely stay here again!

We traveled to Maui for a family wedding and most guests were at Kamaole Sands. We loved everything about our stay! By far, we had the most beautiful, updated, tastefully decorated and well equipped condo! Curtis and Connie have done a fabulous job in making sure guests have what they need to enjoy their stay. The balcony had plenty of seating and we used all the beach toys-having the beach wagon was key! The beds and linens were so comfy! We enjoyed everything about our stay and would definitely go back!

This is a top notch condo, meticulously maintained and you can see the pride of ownership in every little detail inside. The owners are very responsive and took care of every little request that we had. Very well stocked kitchen, and bathrooms were very clean. AC in every room is a big plus since it was quite hot and muggy outside. Wifi was fast and reliable. There is no beach view, but the beach is just a 2 minute walk from the condo. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Maui.

Could not fault the apartment, very clean, and everything you could possibly need both practicality in the kitchen and for beach/sea activities. Lovely to sit first thing with a coffee on the balcony (sorry lanai !)

The property has everything you need weather you are here for a few days or longer period like us! We stayed 10 days.

This was the best vrbo we've ever stayed at. It is perfect! Newly remodeled and super clean. Every appliance you could want, fully stocked kitchen. We have stayed at the Kamaole Sands several times - it is a favourite spot of ours! This particular suite is incredible and a definite new favourite. The suite itself is gorgeous. The furnishings are fabulous and we LOVED our time on the beautiful, spacious lanai. Our 14 year old slept on the trundle bed which was perfect as she had her own zone (and bathroom!), and it didn’t inhibit the living room space at all. The extra touches such as coffee pods and sunscreen were much appreciated. The condo has everything one needs as well as all the outdoor toys and equipment. We are already planning our return visit - thank you so much Curtis and Connie!

We must have found the nicest condo renovation in Kihei, where everything was in top shape, clean, and well-stocked. We enjoyed our time inside as much as out on the beaches! And Curtis was very attentive, with fast responses and helpful advice. The suite is located in one of the best-managed complexes in Maui, with an extra-large balcony for outside eating and garden/ocean views. Will definitely try to book here again!

Nice to have a place that was like home! needed some cooking spices - in the cupboard! Wanted to go snorkelling - equipment in the storage box! Heading to the beach - tommy bahama chairs on the deck! Needed a coffee - keurig and pods in the drawer! Wanting to serve some charcuterie - found a board for presentation as well! Even the teens loved the pull-out bed and smart-TV. W@ould stay there if you wanted to stay at that property or in that location. Other family members stayed in other units, and their "extra's" experience was not at all the case for their places.
All of the grounds were well maintained, and came with BBQ's (cleaned daily) and easy access to the pool and tennis courts.
Only downside was check-in wouldn't let my spouse check in early without me there, so she had to wait until I flew in later that day, but not the property owners fault.
Would stay again without question if we wanted to stay at Kihei again.

We had been to West Maui in the past but wanted a less “resorty” experience. Kihei was perfect! The property is located within walking distance of great beaches and great local restaurants. The property was very comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with everything from laundry supplies to beach umbrellas! Best VRBO we’ve ever experienced. The wait owners of this unit have really thought about everything in decorating and stocking this unit to make it feel like home. From a well stocked kitchen (I’m looking at you spice cabinet and every utensil known to man), to the game cabinet, to the beach closet with multiple chair options, boogie board and snorkel gear galore and a collapsible cart to get it where you want to go, this place has it all. The quiet corner location is steps from the pool and only a few steps more to the beach. The secure location is also peace of mind. We enjoyed our stay here so much we tried to book again. Unfortunately it is already booked for our dates but will definitely keep our eye on this one for future trips. It is hands down the best stocked condo we have stayed in. The grounds at Kamole Sands are absolutely gorgeous and this condo rivals them all! Curtis and Connie were wonderful and it's clear that they've thought through every possible need that their visitors may have. The condo was perfect, just as described on the listing - and sparkling clean! We made great use of all the beach equipment and got to snorkel with 400 lbs sea turtles at the beach just across the way. It was a dream and we can't wait to visit again!

Highly recommend choosing this property to stay at for your vacation to Maui. The place was immaculate, we couldn't believe how clean it was, not one speck of sand on the floor. The place is newly renovated and everything was brand new and clean (washer/dryer, appliances, A/C). The hosts put so much thought into the place and it truly felt like home. The kitchen was over the top and had any tools/utensils needed to cook as if you were at home. Plenty of places to sleep with the two pull out beds in the living room. So many beach things (beach chairs, umbrella, body board, snorkeling gear, beach mat, etc!). It really felt as if this was their home, it had everything you need to comfortably live in Maui. We felt so comfortable and would not have wanted to stay anywhere else. So much better than dropping $500+ for one room at a hotel.
