We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our trip to Maui! This condo did not dissappoint! It was clean, well furnished and stocked, and provided everything we could have needed and more! The location is perfect near shops, resturaunts, beaches, and more. We enjoyed the peaceful morning sunrises and evening sunsets from the lanai. The pool and hot tub were clean and provided an excellent alternative to the beach on the hot days. Staff was friendly and helpful during check in and check out. We look forward to staying here again! Mahalo

What I needed out of this trip was a place to relax, some cozy nap spots and a well-located home base during my trip to Maui, and this stay didn't disappoint! The place was clean and well appointed; I could easily have my ideal rhythm of pool>beach>nap>pool>beach as nothing was more than a minute's walk away!
I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!

This is our second time here at Kamaole Sands and it was so awesome! The place is clean, quiet and close to lots of shops and restaurants. We are already talking about coming back next year. The unit is close to the pool/spa, which we enjoyed a few times. It was a 3 minute walk to the beach across the street. You’ll have to experience a Maui sunset, purely amazing! If comfort and memories are what you desire, this is the place. Much aloha!

This property was very convenient to stay at. It's across the street from Kamaole Beach which has nice park grounds. It's a short walk to some pretty good restaurants and an easy drive to Iao Valley, Lahaina and the Haleakala Crater. The condo was clean and had the advertised amenities. We had a flight delay of 13 1/2 hrs and didn't check in until 2am. The office was open 24hrs and check in was easy.

As a former local, Kihei was where locals would stay (as opposed to the Kaanapali area), but it's so different now. This was a great place to stay. Clean, nice amenities, and convenient to everything. Check in was easy, and no visit to the office for check out. Easy access to nearby beaches, and closer to all the fun things than if staying around Lahaina or Kaanapali.
The unit had a great crossbreeze and is located near the swimming pool, which my daughter really liked. Furnishings and decor were top notch.

We arrived about an or so before the room entry time. There is no place to store luggage, so waited in the heat luggage in hand at our building.
We located the room and it had been cleaned and ready to go. We contacted our agent requesting a slightly early entry. We were allowed entry after being required to pay a fifty dollar fee. That’s ridicules as there was no additional effort needed from staff. Also, our room was close to the pool which was constantly noisy. If you don’t want to hear screaming kids all day long, don’t stay in this area.

Once again the Kamaole Sands resort did not let us down. This is our fifth time renting in this complex and we love the amenities and friendly staff. Our condo was exactly as shown it was clean and well stocked with everything you need. The left over spices and condiments from previous guests was much appreciated and we contributed to the supply when we left. The beach equipment provided gave our granddaughter the chance to try out a mask for the first time, She spent hours in the pool practicing .We did have a leaky shower head and Sam the on-site maintenance person fixed the issue In one day. The photos reflect the condo exactly how it is. It is clean, bright and decorated how the photos depict. Both beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is beautiful and in my opinion, one of the better ones in all of the units I have seen. There are lots of little extras left by previous guests. That with what Kandice has stocked for starting up goes a long way. It helped tremendously as our flights were cancelled/delayed and we didn’t arrive until 2 am to the unit. Dealing with Kandice was easy.
If I have one bit of advice I would suggest any avid snorklers to bring their own gear. The unit does have gear but it’s been well loved and better suited for children.
Overall I would definitely recommend this unit to friends/family traveling to Kihei and would come back again myself! Thanks Kandice.

The Kamaole Sands Community couldn’t be located in a more convenient location. We loved being able to walk across the street to the beach, a quick stroll to The Cinnamon Roll Place for breakfast and coffee and lots of other shops and restaurants within walking distance as well. The unit itself was clean and comfortable, especially the beds. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to many.

I’ve stayed at several places at Kamaole Sands over the years and this unit was great. The property was clean, the location private and convenient for beach access. Overall another great stay. What really shone was Kandace and her local staff. We were not the easiest of guests! We broke the beach umbrella, then the garburator and requested extra wine glasses, which it turns out we didn’t need. All were promptly replaced, fixed or delivered within hours with the cheery assertion from Kandace that “you should not have to bother worrying about such things on your vacation”. Many thanks Kandace. If you weren’t already booked up for the same time next year we would book with you again.

This was a great hub for our f ily of 4 to use a base to explore the South Maui area. It's really close to the boat launch where we did an early morning snorkel trip and was really handy for hitting all the beaches south of Kamaole. Condo complex is large, but spread out enough to be quiet and relaxing. Excellent parking situation as well. We did have one minor technical issue at check-in that was related to a power outage before we were arriving. After a couple texts and phone calls, both the owner and the supervisor of the on island staff were responsive and accommodating to get everything sorted out ASAP the next morning. That's the mark of a well run outfit, being able to handle some adversity quickly and efficently. Thanks again!

Our stay was great. The condo was centrally located to all the major stops we had planned to visit during our trip. Condo was very clean and well stocked. Kandice was very helpful when we ran into unforeseen circumstances on the night of our checkout. Our flight home was cancelled after arriving to the airport and Kandice was able to help us with getting back into the condo for an additional night ultimately saving us from staying in the airport for 40 plus hours.

This is a nice condo, well stocked, and a short walk to the beach. Great sunsets there. The grounds are very well maintained, with very esthetic gardens in the central area. This condo overlooks the pool area which is well used, so we noticed a fair bit of noise from there. We did not mind it however. The front door lock took a bit of getting used to, but once set it worked well. Same with the taps in the shower.

Everything was great! Communication was top notch. Had to get a late checkout last minute….. no problem. Place is better than advertised. Snorkel gear is a bit warn, but we had our own stuff. The condo was great and well furnished (full kitchen, beach supplies - snorkel kits, fins, towels, umbrellas etc.)! Excellent location with amenities like tennis courts and swimming pool and proximity to the beach. Kandice and co were quick to respond to any questions we had, easy check in, safe and easy parking within the resort. Very nominal resort fee (common for all resort condos). Would def stay here again.

Lovely beach condo. Very well equipped with mostly anything you would need. I loved all the utensils, pots, pans, and grilling tools in the kitchen. Fantastic set of knives also. Lots of beach towels and beach equipment (in good shape) available to use. Easy to use smart tvs. Air conditioning and fans kept condo nice and cool. Shower in the in suite bathroom was fantastic. Nice surprise to have extra shampoo and hygiene items under bathroom sink and spices, coffee filters, trash bags, soap in kitchen. I liked that the unit was located towards the back of the property and was quiet. Also, convenient to access the pool and grills. Only small issue I encountered was the sliding glass door sticking but Sam showed up very quickly to fix it. Condo is within walking distance of multiple restaurants, shops, and the sunset from Kam 3 is beautiful. The keyless entry was great so you don't have to worry about losing a key. Overall, I loved my stay here and would recommend to anyone looking to visit Maui. Mahalo!

Property was as listed. Check in at the condo office was quick and employee was extremely friendly and helpful. Condo was clean and had everything we needed for our week in Maui. Kitchen was well equipped. A/C in family room and bedroom were nice after a warm day at the beach. Opening the front and back doors in the evening provided a nice breeze. Condo is conveniently located to beaches and it was nice to just walk across the street each night to enjoy the amazing sunsets.

We would definitely stay there again on our return to Maui.

Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Well-appointed. Beautifully decorated. A responsive owner. An ideal location. The complex is nicely manicured with an inviting pool and hot tub area. Right across the street from a beautiful beach and close to wailea and kihei beaches and restaurants. Minor updates to listing: pool snack bar is gone and "mai tai party" is now a BYOB hula show (with excellent live Hawaiian music). Owner was very flexible when we had to move dates when Hawaii shut down in October 2020. Can't wait to return.

The condo was perfect!, from the location to the living space, everything was A+. Exactly as listed online, great comfortable beds with a "magic" pillow that put me into a deep sleep every night which is not typical for me as I am a horrible sleeper(I checked out what brand it was and immediately ordered 2 online upon returning home lol) Kandace was lightening fast to answer any questions we had. This condo is very well equipped in all ways. It is renovated and the listing is very accurate in the photos and description. The owner was prompt and responsive. We enjoyed our stay overall as the property is nice and it is a convenient location. We did not realize what Kihei was like as compared to Kaanapali (we stayed there first) or Wailea. While most guests were nice, regular folks, there were some guests at the complex that we would prefer to avoid on our trips (e.g. man swimming in his underwear instead of a bathing suit, toddler in diaper in the family hot tub, woman wearing street clothes in the pool, people using speakers to listen to music by the pool -supposed to be using earbuds, glass beer bottle by the pool). This is in no way the fault of the condo owner but the complex could do a better job of enforcing the rules regarding the pool and hot tubs. These issues had some negative effect on our enjoyment but certainly didn't ruin it. It is a very nice place overall and generally well run in terms of grounds maintenance and the tennis/activities. Just needs a little tightening up on the pool rules during the day (but not at night, the night security guard is amazing and very conscientious).

This was our 5th stay at Kamaole Sands and by far the best! Aside from all of the usual conveniences that come standard at Kamaole Sands, this unit provides a lot more to ensure a great vacation. The following are things that we found very nice to have that other units may not provide;
-Air Conditioning unit in the bedroom. This was a HUGE plus due to the layout of the condos in KS, the bedrooms are located far away from the air conditioning unit (no more hot restless nights).
-Central location. Near the pool, near parking, close walk to the beach and facing the courtyard of the complex.
-Well appointed and clean!
-Beach chairs, beach and pool towels, snorkels and masks, cooler and beach toys are all neatly packed on lanai in bins for your use.
-Brand new washer and dryer makes laundry easy!
-Nice seating arrangement on Lanai
You can't go wrong staying here, we'll be back!

We had such an amazing time in Maui. Having an amazing place like this condo made it even more enjoyable. The condo itself was welcoming and had everything we needed. The property was so pretty. You can tell that the company takes pride in the condos, every morning they were put there working on the gardening or pruning the trees.
We didn't have kids but we met up with some friends with kids and the place was very kid friendly. Everyone is out at night BBQing and we met a lot of nice people. I am really glad we were able to stay in this condo.
There was and amazing pool and hot tub. The condo is in a perfect location in the complex. The beach is literally accross the street. It is also within walking distance to some great restaurants and grocery stores.
Thank you for letting us stay. We had a very memorable time.

We had a great stay at this location. It is right across the street from a fantastic beach. Lots of sand to play in and gentle waters for those who love to snorkel. Starting the days with a walk along the beach, you can go for miles in either direction. After a day in the sun it was nice to return to the condo that has everything at your finger tips. The condo is nicely furnished and supplied with all your needs. Enjoying a glass of wine each night on the Lanai is a great way to watch the bountiful stars in the sky. I would recommend this condo to those seeking a wonderful getaway. Cheers!

We have stayed in your condo for three consecutive years now and find it to be our favorite place away from home. The bedroom is beautifully furnished and the TV makes it just another spot to relax in comfort. The two bathrooms are fully refurbished in a spa-like style with showers that are roomy, well lit and clean.
The kitchen is wide open to the dining and living area providing a spacious spot for family and guests. The appliances are in excellent condition and the granite counters complement the well furnished living area.

We love the Kamaole Sands property for its great beaches and beautiful grounds. This was our first time staying in this particular unit and it was great. The condo is tastefully decorated and updated compared to some others on the property. The bed was pretty good (always our biggest concern in a condo with bad backs, but we both slept okay), there's AC when/if you need it in the living room and bedroom (bedroom unit works much better than living room one but we didn't need it much in the living room), closet of beach gear is a huge plus and the kitchen remodel makes the unit fell larger and more open. We did wish there were 2 extra chairs out on the patio so that all 4 of us could eat out there together but realize that would make it a tight fit since this is the smaller patio size at Kam Sands. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!! Wish we were still there!

We've stayed in 6 or 7 different units in Kamaole Sands, this one was by far the best remodel and well stocked unit we've been in. There were boogie boards, beach chairs, a nice cooler, umbrellas, etc. Anything you'd need and more for the beach. We liked the location as it was about 20 yards down the stairs and to the pool or parking spot. Great unit and we will surely be back!

We had the privilege of staying in this wonderful condo for our last holiday on Maui. This is a very well kept unit, very clean with everything you need from beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling gears, all the kitchen tools to great selection of movies. It is super close to the pool and far enough from any street noise. It is very well located just in front of some of the best beaches on the island. The only down side is the very loud air conditioning in the bedroom. The first few nights were hard to adjust but after a while we got used to it and it even made us sleep in because we couldn't hear anything else around (like the early morning people walking along the outside walkway and even the roosters). In all, our experience was a true success. We will be back for sure!
