Kaanapali was a decent location, walk to Duke’s and a few local shops but mostly drove around the island. Aston was a good base with good amenities. Ocean pool was closed for renovations but that was identified in advance. Best thing was the convenience of washer and dryer in the unit after beach or pool time. Good time and comfortable stay.

Prime location but super dirty and poorly put together. Wasnt sweeped when i checked in. Sky lighting from bathroom shower was in the bathtub leaking water in the tub. 4 dollar shower head off amazon as well. The front desk (extremly nice) fixed it somehow lol no broom for the house no cleaning stuff. Remember this is 50 ft from the beach. So sand everywhere after 8 days. But besides that it was a great location but i wouldnt stay here again. Ive stayed at several at this resort and this was the least nicest most outdated so just do your homework before you travel.

I was disappointed to find out that there is a $20 a day resort fee that no one had informed me about. Rooms were clean except for the carpet. dated interior. Loved the location, Grounds were very nicely kept, two nice pools and Jacuzzi ‘s, beach location awesome right near the boardwalk. Excellent pickle ball court lighted.

This was a nice property with all the amenities one would need. The room itself is a bit outdated, but again, had everything you could need. There is a grocery store and other shops right across the road, which was a great convenience. The room had a great view of the garden area and ocean. My sister and I had a great time and the front staff was very nice! I would stay here again.

Overall very happy with our stay! A little noisy for sleeping some night... but to be expected in a busy and popular resort. We were very happy with our condo and the resort grounds...very comfortable place to stay for two weeks...we would go back anytime!

This suite at Kaanapali Shores was very comfortable. The garden view itself made the patio seem more private. We did not utilize the kitchen aside from the refrigerator, but it has updated appliances and utensils you can cook with during your stay. There are food trucks nearby and a plaza of restaurants across the street. It is a convenient location to stay due to its proximity to the beaches as well as Lahaina's Front Street. The suite is located next to the parking lot, so some mornings we were woken by families leaving for the day. Overall, I would recommend you to stay here.

We really enjoyed making this unit our home base in Maui. It was walking distance to a grocery store, ABC store, and several restaurants, and a ~15 minute drive to the harbor area with lots of shops and restaurants. Kitchen countertops aside, some parts of the unit felt a little outdated (particularly the bathroom and washer/dryer), and the kitchen was stocked with the bare minimum (no oven mitts!) but it was functional for our stay. The resort has 2 excellent pools and hot tubs (one pool with more "fun features" that kids seemed to enjoy, the other right in front of the ocean that seemed more adults-oriented). We loved having a few of the ocean from the lanai and spent time every morning whale watching before getting started for the day. We enjoyed massages at the spa on-site (additional fee, a little expensive but WELL worth it), and also ate dinner at the restaurant on-site (great food, sat on the patio overlooking the ocean). Not the right place to stay if you're looking to walk right onto a beach, but we thought the other amenities (including convenient ocean access for swimming and snorkeling) made this place a great vacation spot for our trip.

Our condo was huge. A very well appointed new kitchen. On site restaurant was great and two swimming pools with lots of lawn activities kept us occupied. No fighting for pool chairs in the morning. There were lots to go around. The beach was perfect for swimming. Supermarket within a 2 minute walk and on site stores that were well stocked. Every single staff member from groundskeepers to front desk were helpful, engaging, happy and always had a smile and aloha greeting. I will be back!
