Location, Location, Location! This lovely condo offers ocean, park and mountain view, the rustle of palm trees, the beach 150 feet away and the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep in a wonderful environment.
Prince Kuhio #111, a one bedroom unit, is very well maintained a\ We have painted, replaced the living room and bedroom furniture, put in a new king size bed, and new art work. It has a new glass top stove and frig, lovely granite kitchen counters and tropical cabinets – they are beautiful. We completely painted, renewed the tile floors, put in new screens, new window coverings and new art which includes a beautiful panoramic picture of the Kalalau Valley in the living room. New 65" smart TV in Feb. 2020. We just spent 10,000 put in Air conditioning in Marc of 2022. We have owned at the PK since 2001 and spend our winters in Kauai, taking great pride in providing a most up to date unit with lots of extras to help make your holiday a wonderful one. Our unit is in a great location, beautifully decorated, quality, and a great value. PK #111 is in a wonderful setting with beautiful surroundings.
Wake up in the morning in a new large king size bedroom to an island sunrise. Have your coffee on the lanai while enjoying amazing mountain views, the ocean, and an occasional beautiful rainbow with a 180 degree view.
We are just steps away from the best snorkel beach on Kauai and ideally located to enjoy all the beautiful sights of the island. World-class golf is minutes away and the island’s best five star restaurant is just out our front door. The unit comes fully furnished and has all your beach needs, i.e. beach towels and chairs, beach coolers, and needed cooking spices to help keep your grocery costs down. There is free wireless Internet access, free cable, free local and long distance calls to US and Canada, and free covered parking. The Prince Kuhio is a non smoking facility but there is a smoking area out by the parking lot.
This small complex has a beautiful new tiled pool, new deck and lovely water feature placed in our unique garden. There is sun and shade at the non smoking pool to meet your needs.
Like to walk, head up Lawai Road, past beautiful homes, past an elite golf course, a small boat harbour and onto Spouting Horn. Stop along the way to walk through the entrance to the fabulous Botanical Gardens. Head the other direction along the coast to view the Giant Green turtles and whales during migration season. You will probably see an endangered Monk Seal resting on a beach. Take a short 15 minute walk to the Kukui'ula Shopping Center with it's upscale shops, art galleries, delightful island restaurants, organic grocery store/deli, and Wednesday’s Farmer’s Market featuring local produce, baked goods, flowers, and many Hawaii made products while musicians play Hawaiian music and sellers hand out samples.
As your day winds down, walk across the street with your favorite beverage and camera to enjoy a sunset view you won't forget and have dinner at the 5 star Beach House Restaurant. Or stop by one of the local island markets and prepare your meals in our well equipped kitchen or use the outdoor gas grills and picnic area that are available for your use. Then relax in our lovely condo.
We have enjoyed owning a condo on the 3rd floor in the Prince Kuhio since 2001 so much that we purchased this unit on the 1st floor. No stairs to climb, large, easy access and beautiful.
We encourage all our guests to consider taking out trip insurance travel and accomodations, because our cancellation policy is strict.
Cancellations:

Cancellations and reservation changes must be received in writing:
thirty days (30) before arrival
Sixty days (60) for Christmas/New Year (12/15-1/05, 2016).
Cancellations made more than 30 days or 60 days for Christmas before arrival date, are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Cancellations that are made within 30 days or 60 days for Christmas of arrival date forfeit the full advance payment, unless the unit can be rebooked. There will be no refund for early departure unless the unit can be rebooked. You may choose to purchase travel insurance.

Check In and Out:

Check in time is 4 PM; check out time is 10 AM. If you have a late night flight you might consider booking another night. If there is a back to back booking, a late check out will not be possible. If there is not a check in on the day your check out, and you do wish a late check out, it will be possible for a $50 fee .

As of Oct. 1, 2021, Kauai has implimented an increase TAT tax for an additional 3%, from 14.96% to 17.96%.
