Great location, right on the ocean and also well situated for access to Poipu. Well stocked with everything we could need, especially for the beach. Chris was easy to get in touch with and very responsive both before and during our stay. We had a wonderful time.

I rarely give ANYTHING/ANYONE 5☆ but I can't think of ANYTHING that needed improved... nothing. Condo views are bar none THE BEST! The ocean is loud (good thing) can't hear any chickens in the am. Bed was comfortable. We WILL be back!

We could not stay in this property. the stench was so foul that we could not breathe. at the same time, there was construction, scaffolding right outside our window, and constant hammering and Drilling all day long.
We did not stay overnight. We were afraid of an acute asthma attack.
Owner was extremely uncooperative in trying to assist us. Owner's lack of response compounded the problem.
They were notified by building management of construction, but THEY LIED to us and pretended not to know.
Do not stay here!!!!

The place had a great view. There was some construction in the building but overall that did not impact us. The place is a little dated which is shown in the pictures but it is well appointed and comfortable. The owners are great and were very helpful with information about the area. Poipu beach is close so that was convenient. there is a very small beach you can walk to but a bit rocky so bring water shoes. The house had beach chairs, boogie boards etc which was nice. The house is right next to the Beach House restaurant which is amazing. Thank you

My husband, our two kids (8 and 11), and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chris' condo. It was very well-appointed, had amazing views of the ocean and sunsets, and was in a great location with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. There was beach gear (i.e. chairs, boogie boards, ice chests, etc.) in the condo, which made it extremely convenient to enjoy our time on the many beaches that we explored during our stay. There is great snorkeling right outside of the condo and on the nearby Poipu beach (lots of tropical fish and sea turtles), and we enjoyed watching sea turtles and manta rays swimming by the rocks from our balcony. We even got to watch the turtles come up onto shore at sunset to rest on Poipu beach, which was incredible to see. We would highly recommend this condo to others visiting Kauai!

The apartment had everything we needed with access to beaches and snorkeling within walking distance. There was extra boogie boards and snorkel gear so we didn’t have to rent our own equipment. The view is incredible and we watched the sunset every night. We would definitely stay here again.

One of the best places we’ve stayed. The star of this place is the view and the excellent AC in both bedrooms. You are literally oceanfront about 15 yards from the ocean and you can see the turtles from your lanai. You can step out of your apartment and get a fantastic sunset. It’s steps away from snorkeling and a small beach. Beachhouse restaurant is right next-door with its world renowned views. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice although the second bedroom has a little bit of a unique shower and toilet area. Kitchen is well appointed. The beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel gear, and cooler were all appreciated. Only two minor complaints one no icemaker after you fill trays to the zippers on the chairs and the cooler or difficult to operate or wouldn’t work at all on the chairs because of salt corrosion.

The location of this property was amazing. Our favorite place was sitting at the table with the corner view and the waves crashing below. We thought it might be time for a few updates but overall we loved staying there!

The location is absolutely perfect! Right next to a great bar/restaurant. Snorkeling and beach just a few feet away. We sat on the balcony daily and watched the whales. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

This condo was excellent for our group of 2 couples.
The ocean front lanai provided us with views of humpback whales, spinner dolphins, sea turtles as well as beautiful views of the sunrises and sunsets daily.
Lawa'i Beach is a small sand beach beside the condo which provided some good snorkeling (some waves, but still worked pretty well for us) and more sunset views. There were quite a few fish and some turtles to see while snorkeling.
The condo had everything we needed to relax, cook meals and go the beach. It was clean and very comfortable.
Other good swimming / snorkeling beaches and restaurants at Poipu were easy to get to by car within a 10 minute drive.
Greg and Chris were great hosts, providing all that we needed in the condo and answering our questions quickly.

Unbelievable location for watching the sunset every single night. Unobstructed views of the ocean, sunset, sea turtles, and surfers right from the balcony. Located minutes from shopping and plenty of beaches while still feeling like we were tucked away in its own little community. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a great time in Poipu. The unit was as described and the view was perfectly splendid. Was a little nervous about the temperature but the AC units performed well above my expectations. Would 100% stay here again.

Wonderful location in Poipu. Condo was cozy and well organized with amazing views. My family spent most of the time on the lanai, watched the sunrise and surfers with our coffee in the morning and stargazed at night. Chris was very responsive to my inquiries prior to our arrival. Overall, my family and I were very pleased with this rental. We spent a lot of time on the lanai, it was my favorite place in the morning and evening, looking out at the ocean. Albert, the maintenance person, was very responsive and helpful with a couple of small issues/questions. Unit is located close to lots of shopping, beaches and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need if cooking family meals. I would stay here again for sure!

The place was exactly as shown in the pictures. The location is a top notch which is next to a nice small beach with snorkeling opportunities. There is also a great restaurant next to the building. Wave sounds were relaxing for us; you can hear it all day and night.

Property is very nice. Beautiful view air conditioner works really well. Only one TV. Fits 4 people comfortably!! Easy walk to the little beach and next-door is a Restaurant called the beach house. Down the street is Longs drugs and stores and shops.

I can't imagine a place in Poipu that has better views than Kuhio Shores. The unit is totally oceanfront - we saw whales daily, dolphins, turtles and surfers. It was very enjoyable to watch the activity from the balcony, and the star viewing at night was great.
The condo has plenty of supplies, including beach chairs, a cooler, lots of kitchen ware, etc. Beds were comfortable and we didn't need to run the AC - the ocean breeze was enough to keep it cool. There was really limited noise from the neighbors - the ocean acted as natural white noise. The property is clean and well maintained, and parking was plentiful in the condo lot.
There could be a little more storage for guest items (like in the closets) but that was a minor issue. There is an outdoor mall within a short walk with a variety of good restaurants and shops, and beautiful beaches close by.
The new owner Chris was friendly and responsive. If we ever get back to Kauai, we'd definitely consider staying here again.

Second floor ocean front view for every beautiful sunrise and sunset. The apartment was cozy, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, pullout couch in the living room that our son enjoyed. A/c in the bedrooms, fans in every room (no a/c in the living room, so a gets a bit hot in there. Beach gear (chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, etc etc). Pantry stocked with seasonings. Bring your own shampoo and bath stuff. Oh, weird thing not noted anywhere... The master bath is not a separate bathroom. There's a separate toilet but the shower is right in the bedroom. So, if I was talking a shower in early morning, the light/sound woke up my husband for sure. We got used to it, but it was just strange. The second bathroom is normal. Building is a standard condo building. No pool, no health club, no amenities. Beach is a few minutes walk, but it's the best beach bc that's where the turtles are! Best snorkeling! So grab your chairs and umbrella and 5 min walk, you're at Lawai Beach. Nearby walking distance outdoor mall area with shops/restaurants/ice cream. Walked to the beach by the Sheraton (maybe 10 min) and saw a whale in the distance. Great place! Would definitely stay here again. New owners, took a long time to reply to messages. We didn't have any issues so it was not a problem. Can't wait to go back to Kauai! Already missing the daily rainbows.

This condo is absolutely oceanfront with waves breaking on the rocks 20 feet from the building. This 2nd floor unit has privacy and fabulous views to the south and west - we watched surfers and sea turtles every day and had a great sunset and rainbow view every evening. The unit was comfortable for two couples to share.

I’m so happy we chose to stay at this condominium. The view was breathtaking. I think we had one of the best views on the island. The property was close to shopping areas, restaurants, snorkeling and even a pretty nice restaurant right next to our property. The condo had everything we needed. It was home away from home. Great neighborhood, quiet , safe and beautiful. I was concerned about how our trip was going to be after COVID. And our wonderful host Kristin communicated with us even before our trip and directed us to the right websites and put our minds at ease. She even helped us with getting a car and everything we needed. She was one phone call away the entire time. She went above and beyond being helpful and kind. I would love to come back and stay at this lovely place again. Thank you Kristin for sharing your lovely Condo with us.
