Phaku Kauai Cottage
Newly renovated, lovely 1 bedroom, 2 story duplex condo located on the outskirts of Princeville on Hanalei Plantation rd. A 15 minute walk will get you to the ruins of the old Club Med and a short trail to the beach that fronts the infamous Princeville Hotel (due to reopen as The One hotel fall 2022). The condo is also walking distance to the Princeville center which has a grocery store, a variety of places to eat and some shops.
It’s just a 5 minute drive to Hanalei town and any portion of Hanalei Bay. I commonly start my day by zooming “down the hill” for a lovely morning walk on the bay.
The condo is well stocked and presented to give you that feeling of being at your home away from home:)
Things to do:
Relax at the beach- Hanalei Bay, Ha'ena beach Park, Secrect Beach, Anini, Kalihiwai, are all in close proximity and offer a range of activity/atmosphere.
Hike- if heading to the Na Pali, reserve here https://gohaena.com/ (Ke'e, Hanakapi'ai, Kalalau). Okolehau is the ridgeline you see out the livingroom window https://www.alltrails.com/trail/hawaii/kauai/okolehao-trail?u=i. For a moderate relaxing hike, https://www.hilt.org/waikoa-loop-trail.
Do Yoga- https://www.learnhealcreate.com/yoga (yoga on the bluff at Makai, is a short distance away), https://wavesyogakauai.com/ (you may see in the owner in the neighborhood walking her dog Georgia :)
hire a photographer - https://www.inhawaiiphoto.com/ (a wonderful way to capture memories. Ipo, the photographer, is my sister, and is wonderfully talented)
Eat- dinner/reservations....https://www.cudahanalei.com/reservations, http://bskitchenkauai.com/, https://www.amahanalei.com/new-page, https://www.postcardscafe.com/, https://www.thenui.com/, https://hanaleidolphin.com/.

Horseback riding-https://princevilleranch.com/horseback-adventures//
If you are on social media, a great resource is Facebook group Kaua'i Community. Any and every question/inquiry is researched here. it's well worth taking a look.
